Best Chinese I ever know...great! Buffet!

Love to eat at the buffet here. There is always a large selection of food. You can either take ready-made food or put it together yourself and have it freshly prepared. The service is always friendly.

Food was very tasty. Unfortunately, the food is replenished slowly and if you come right at opening time, only a few containers are filled. I tend to find this difficult when eating at a buffet, as you don't have to catch up on meals several times. The ambience is okay, I think the restaurant could be a bit cleaner.

For an amount of barely 20 euros, you can eat as much as you want. Plenty of selection of classic Asian/Chinese cuisine. Dessert and fruit including drinks extra. Large rooms with many tables. I would recommend booking during peak times or weekends. Large parking lot right in front of it.

August 31, 2024, dinner, inside, à la carte I knew the place a few years ago and was back there now. I was very happy to see the Lo again. But unfortunately it's pretty run down at the moment. Too bad. It used to be really good. Soup (#4) watery and with a distinct metallic aftertaste. There was no sign of the coconut that was on the menu. The kitchen was really stressful - yes, I understand that in principle. But the court noticed this too clearly in terms of quality. Huge chunks cut, e.g. chewing the size of a (woody) leek is a challenge - even if you like leeks - very coarsely chopped mushrooms (halved at most), huge strips of pepper, etc. Meat was really dry. Shrimp still had the hard, unpleasant tail on it. There was nothing left of the proverbial delicacy and care of Asian cuisine. Tiny cup of rice. I had to ask for chopsticks three times. Nevertheless, I put a plate in front of me first. The bowl only came when asked. The waitress (clearly an older lady, possibly the grandma of the house) picks her nose in the dining room and scratches her bottom. Even if this can be seen as a basic human need in the broadest sense, I would not like to see this in the dining room of a restaurant. Payment by card was only possible at the front of the counter. Overall, it's a shame... I love Asian cuisine so much... But Lo is no longer one of my favorites.

Unfriendly staff, buffet very small and poor quality. Never again

I used to always come here for lunch, which is good. But this time we were here for dinner. I was very disappointed, even though the price for the buffet in the evening was almost twice as high, the selection of food was much smaller and when something was out, it wasn't refilled. Duck wasn't even there! The baked bananas were no longer available either.

Great place for a small amount, you can really eat well whenever I can, I always eat there for my birthday, it's a great thing. I recommend.

At first glance the service seems very slow 😶 the food, however, can be prepared a la minute at the buffet upon request, the selection is plentiful and mostly fresh 😉 we paid the equivalent of 15 💶 for 2 adults and two children 🙄 including drinks 😆 unfortunately they are Labels on the buffet were incorrect, unfortunately the shrimp had intestines

In itself, this restaurant is the best in the entire Tauber Valley, especially because of the food, which is available there in abundance. It's also very comfortable to sit there and it's reasonably clean (toilets are also clean), unfortunately the staff is very unfriendly. Nevertheless, this Asian is fully recommended. Great in terms of price!

All you can eat for 10.50 a day... Soup, salads, fish, beef, chicken, duck, pork, squid, scampi in various ways. Cake, ice cream incredible!!!

Friendly and polite staff, fast service, a large selection of freshly prepared dishes. But after eating, the stomach is heavy (usual portion), feeling not normal. And although the taste and prices are very pleasant, such food does not bring pleasure due to the incredible heaviness that lasts for a long time after.

Went there spontaneously with 4 adults and two children. We were satisfied. We all spontaneously decided on the buffet and were happy with our choice. The children were charged on a staggered basis - which we found to be very accommodating. The adults could go straight to the buffet - which is a great time if you're hungry right away ;-) we found the buffet clean and the selection sufficient, even though we arrived shortly before the end. Since EC payment is not possible, a point is deducted. We'll definitely come back.

Food is good... The waiters are in a bad mood and don't spread a good mood. The staff here should definitely be trained better.

I left two and a half hours before the restaurant closed and half the dishes were empty and not refilled or a few more pieces added. I literally chose fries. gross . You could have just said unfortunately there isn't enough food and apologized, but we were automatically selected for the buffet and no food or drink menu was offered and three year old children were forced to have one drink!!! What kind of nonsense is this? I told her, "I don't want my children to drink." She said, "They are not allowed to drink." In fact, I wanted to leave at that moment, but my children were sad, so I stayed and felt disgusted and exploited.

Had lunch buffet twice. Disappointed twice 😞 and didn't eat half of it.

Visited Bad Mergentheim and visited this restaurant. No card payment possible. The service is very unfriendly and seems annoyed. Some of the food tastes warmed up. The price is okay but I still wouldn't go there again.

They are kind, the food is good, but sometimes they forget about this

We are visiting Bad Mergentheim and were looking forward to a lovely evening in the restaurant. When we got there we were rudely taken to our seats. We didn't think anything of it at first and were still optimistic. However, when ordering drinks we were given a special instead of the water we ordered. I kindly pointed out that we had been given the wrong drink, after which we were almost killed with stares. We had to wait a whole 20 minutes!!! Waiting for our water and from that point on we were ignored. I have never felt so uncomfortable. Afterwards we also had to ask for the menu and it took 60 minutes until we were served the food. Was the first and last stay there. Cannot recommend. It's a shame because the food was very good, but it's not worth spending the evening there feeling bad and unwelcome. Very unfortunate!!!

The food was quite good, but that doesn't make up for the unfriendliness of the service. We were first brought the wrong drink, which we kindly pointed out. We were then ignored and only received the menu when we asked (after 20 minutes). Then some of the food came, the rice wasn't brought until 10 minutes later. Of course the food was no longer warm. And the service was constantly annoyed. Absolutely not recommended, at least not with this "service".

There was little choice at the buffet and a lot of it was empty. The surfaces at the buffet were dirty and greasy. For example, the ice cream scoop was also lying on a dirty rag. In my opinion, the ice cream wasn't cooled properly either. The taste of the food was very bland and some things simply tasted stale. The staff is hard to understand and leads to misunderstandings. Furthermore, it was simply too crowded and therefore too loud. I can't recommend it!

Solid all-you-can-eat Chinese, you get exactly what you expect, nothing more and nothing less. The buffet is clean and the selection is sufficient.

Das Personal ist sehr nett und lieb , nur das Buffet ist oft leer egal wann du hin gehst und sehr wenig an Auswahl 🤢wir waren oft da sogar sehr oft nur es wird immer schlechter und schlechter , immer stehen dreckige Geschirr und Besteck auf einem Wagen neben dem Buffet sehr eckig 🤮an Eis ist nur 2 Eissorten da leider ihr seid schlecht geworden , wir kommen nicht wieder obwohl wir jeden Wochenende da waren !!!! Nicht mehr !!!!!

Ich war zum erstem mal dort. Das Essen war echt gut. Man kann sich das Fleisch aussuchen dies wird frisch angebraten. Daher die 4 Sterne fürs Essen. Den Service vergebe ich 2 Sterne, Freundlichkeit ist wohl ein Fremdwort. Schade man kann auch freundlicher sein. Er steht zwar dort kein kartenzahlung , zur Not geht es aber.

Nichts besonderes, die Einrichtung ist schon in die Jahre gekommen, Büfettauswahl ist nur Durchschnitt. Service war an dem Tag wirklich sehr schnell und freundlich. Gebratene Ente wie überall immer leer und wird selten nachgefüllt, der Rest vom Essen nicht der Rede wert - alles Standard. Wer laute Atmosphäre und Gedränge an Büfett mag, der ist hier richtig. Wer aber Wert auf Qualität, Service, Erlebnis und Geschmack Wert legt, der ist hier leider total falsch. Gutgemeinte 3 ⭐️

We arrived afternoon and unfortunately buffet is closed. So we ordered fried chicken meal,beef meal and roast duck meal. Food is freshly cooked and all tastes good. We feel the restaurant interior is also nice and clean. We are satisfied and definitely will try buffet next time.

Jedes Mal wenn wir da sind ist das Essen sehr gut. Bestes Restaurant um gut und günstig zu essen.

Habe schon viele China-Restaurants in D besucht, aber dieses ist einfach nur Durchschnitt. Essen vom Buffet nichts besonderes schmeckte irgendwie alles gleich. Personal auch nicht besonders freundlich. Ich war enttäuscht.

Am Buffet waren einige Sachen aus die auch nach einer Stunde nicht nachgefüllt wurden. Huhn war trocken bzw die panierten Hühnchenbällchen war innen nur noch eine feste Masse.

Tolles Restaurant super leckeres Essen 😊 die Sauberkeit ist top auch die Toiletten sind soweit sauber und in Ordnung.

Ein helles Bier bestellt und ein Pils erhalten, ich trinke kein Pils, schlechter Anfang. Anfängliche Sushi Auswahl war sehr gering, später wurde etwas nachgelegt, geschmacklich gerade noch so ok. Sauce gibt es keine, d.h. Frühlingsrollen trocken essen?? Auch sonst keine scharfen Saucen. Die Auswahl zum Grillen ist groß und schmeckt lecker, ansonsten leider keine Empfehlung. A very nice place with good food and nice people

Tolles Essen! Sehr frische Meeresfrüchte und köstliche Soßen. Ein Mitarbeiter ist auch extra mit mir herum gegangen und hat auf alles hingewiesen das ich essen bzw. nicht essen kann mit meiner Allergie.

Sonntagsbuffet. Sehr reichhaltig und vielfältig. Speisen werden immer frisch nachgefüllt. Die besten gebratenen Garneelen, die ich je gegessen habe. Entdarmt und sehr leicht zu entschalen. Man muss sie halt mit den Fingern essen...egal. Ausgewählte rohe Zutaten werden auf Wunsch frisch gebraten. Zwei Personen mit je einem alkfreien Bier 43,00 Euro. Auf jeden Fall wiederholenswert.

Genau wie beim letzten Mal, alles OK.

Buffet könnte bisschen größer ausfallen. Sushi war oft leer. Bedienung typisch für China Restaurant

Das Restaurant ist nur zu empfehlen. Der Service ist sehr freundlich und sehr bemüht. Das Preis Leistungs Verhältnis ist top. Das Buffet ist sehr reichhaltig, das essen schmeckte super lecker.
