China Restaurant Lehaha-Buffet in Hannover

I've been there twice now and was very satisfied each time. The service is quick and very friendly. I'd love to come back

A large restaurant with a very large, rich buffet. Everyone will find something to suit their taste here. A separate room is available for private celebrations. The restaurant is very busy, you should definitely make a reservation. When it's full, it's a bit noisy, but still within limits. The staff is very friendly and attentive. The waiting time for service is almost zero. The restaurant is located on the upper floor but can be reached via an elevator. There are plenty of parking spaces available. If you want to feast in a really varied way, this is the right place for you. I can recommend everyone to try it out.

There were two of us there. A waitress came straight to the table and asked directly about the drinks. We ordered an Alster and a Coke, then the waitress took out her device to enter the order and then asked for the order again. A little strange, but not too bad. As starters there is a salad bar, snacks like mini spring rolls and some breaded/fried things. Sushi is also available, although of moderate quality. Everything is okay so far, but not anymore. The selection of ready-made warm dishes/main courses is definitely okay, but unfortunately all the meat was very dry, almost as if the dishes had already been served at the lunch or the previous day's buffet and were now reheated. The selection at the grill station is quantitatively good, but I don't want to make any assumptions about the quality. In our case, the preparation of the food was unfortunately poor. The dessert selection is as you already know it: baked banana, canned fruit, jelly, (squishy) cake and little things such as cream puffs and foam kisses - plus a greasy Tetra Pak of vanilla sauce. A soft ice cream machine should be highlighted positively at this point. I don't mean the following personally: At Lehaha there seems to be an all u can eat buffet (several times) every day. This means that the employees defrost a certain amount of meat EVERY DAY, prepare the same dishes every day, do the same thing every day - and it shows. When we visited, the buffet and the quality were as if someone had been doing the same thing over and over again for x years and was lost in their routine: careless and without value for quality. You'll get full, no question about it. There's no fun in it. The employees are not rude, but they are not friendly either. There are and have been many good reviews here - we can't share them after our visit. Maybe, or rather hopefully, we simply had a weak evening - but unfortunately we won't get a second chance. At 35 euros (yes, everything is a little more expensive, but the quality should still be right) for the buffet plus two drinks (Alster and Cola) you would have gotten significantly more elsewhere.

If you are in Hanover, you must visit this restaurant. There is a huge selection of everything. No matter whether it should be freshly prepared or you take it ready from the buffet...a dream. There are, among other things, suckling pig, soft ice cream, lots of fruit and vegetables, cakes of all kinds and everything that shouldn't be missing in a Chinese kitchen. Price performance perfect. We took the elevator to the 1st floor. When you get out you can see the name of the restaurant very well presented. Then you go in. It is light, the tables and chairs are in dark brown color. It doesn't bother. The napkins are friendly yellow color. There are also many LED lamps. The food is diverse. Choose what you want to eat from the buffet or serve yourself what is pre-cooked and prepared. Salads, fruit, cakes, jelly with/without vanilla sauce, ice cream and soft ice cream. There were numerous staff here. They constantly checked the food. If something is empty, you have immediately brought more. And whether the food looks neat, if not it would be done properly. The empty plates were also picked up in a timely manner. In the hallway to the toilet I saw a children's play corner. I see this for the first time in the restaurant. And at the end of the corridor there was a separate room for celebrations or events. I found it very nice that you can be alone with family or colleagues. The toilets were very clean. Even the garbage container was special. A Chinese porcelain bowl. We were here on Sunday. That's why there were a lot of free parking spaces. I don't know what it's like during the working day.

I tried it out personally and I have to say that I am very impressed. There is a lot of space, whether for individuals, as a couple or for groups. There are many options, plus there is a large selection from the buffet to the desserts, whether ice cream or cake You hardly know where you start and where it ends, it's really good, the quality is also very good and neat, fresh and clean, the staff is very friendly and polite, I haven't seen such a decent restaurant in a long time, which also has good quality and good prices guest satisfied. I can only recommend it and will go there again. There are enough parking spaces, it is on the first floor and there is also an elevator.

Is a typical Chinese restaurant with a corresponding atmosphere. The food tastes quite good, but what doesn't work at all is that the sauce is heated up several times. A fat, disgusting film sometimes forms on the surface... Unfortunately, some of the employees are very unfriendly, unfortunately there are no paper towels on site toilet. If anyone wants to test the whole thing, they can do so every lunchtime and evening for just €3.90 via the Top good to go app.

Eating a very tasty buffet. There is a huge selection of freshly prepared food. If it's still too "old" for you, you can even have something specially fried here. In terms of taste, everything was quite good, but it doesn't come close to freshly ordered plates. Nevertheless, with the huge selection of delicious food, the ambience and the possibility of getting freshly prepared food, I can definitely recommend a visit.

Unfortunately, the quality and taste of the food was unsatisfactory and the selection of desserts was very limited. It's a shame...

There is nothing wrong with the buffet

The food is good, but the flavor gourmet is significantly better. The service is great, as is the ambience. It is definitely recommended! Inexpensive, holds up in ramen from all-you-can-eat restaurants. On the whole it is satisfactory. From outside there is a large staircase that leads up (which is problematic in winter because it can be very slippery, be careful when entering!) but there is also an elevator so everything is great!

We went there for a buffet shortly after 7 p.m. Some things were just warm and some things were already dry. The service in the restaurant takes place with very loud serving trolleys. What I found annoying, however, is that it is already on the menu that if you don't order a drink at the buffet, you have to pay a fee.

There is really a lot to choose from on the buffet, but it took a long time, but the mongolian grill took a very long time to cook and the vegetables were cut too coarsely. The restaurant doesn't have much beer to choose from and the waiter was only too happy to help offer something. The service was completely lacking and all the waiters were more busy using their mobile phones than serving customers. At one point, 8 customers are queuing to pay while waiters stand nearby checking their phones. Thanks for food

We were actually only here because our local Chinese restaurant was closed for vacation. Very quickly we were asked what drinks we wanted and we were able to help ourselves to the large buffet. I am a soup fan and am almost always disappointed when the soup of the day offered is not hot. I didn't have to have that fear here. Then - a must for me too - fresh fish, which is prepared on site with side dishes and sauces of your choice. The selection is really good and diverse. I think there were 8-10 different fillets on offer from butterfish to pangasius to salmon as well as various seafood and mussels. The "ready" warm buffet is delicious and varied. The crispy chicken in orange sauce was very good, but the other meat offerings were also good. A good number of side dishes round it off. Sushi is available, but I didn't try it. I couldn't understand why suckling pig and potato gratin are on a Chinese buffet. But it's okay, otherwise it wouldn't be there. The visit is rounded off with the dessert buffet, which serves classics such as baked bananas, small cakes and Jell-O. In addition to milk ice cream in different flavors, what was special here was that there was soft ice cream that you can garnish with different toppings. The price of the buffet is €24.90, which is slightly higher than that of similar restaurants. At least the 2 or 3 euros were worth it to us.

Multiple varieties, average quality and fair price

Ate buffet and everything was fresh and delicious. For me it's one of the better Chinese in Hanover.

Don't come eat here, the food is disgustingly raw and makes you want to vomit. The food is not worth the money. You'd better buy a kebab

I've been to the Chinese Restaurant Lehaha in Hanover a few times and find the selection of dishes large and the overall quality good. The meat is sometimes a bit too dry, but overall the food is tasty. I would recommend the restaurant for Chinese cuisine lovers. 4-5 out of 5 stars.

The first thing they tried to do was scare us off because we wanted to order from the menu. We'd better get food from the buffet, otherwise we'd have to wait 40 minutes. …the rice came after 10 minutes. Regarding the sushi: it didn't taste good at all. Unfortunately, it wasn't until we were paying that the waitress said that you should eat sushi somewhere else because it wouldn't taste good here! Then you should take the matter off the map from the start! The fried rice for it was delicious.

Yesterday I spontaneously went there with my two children around 6:30 p.m. My son (7 years old) had already eaten a filled pizza and was therefore relatively full. My 2 friends, each with 2 children, were there and ate. After the "boss" asked how many people would like to take part in the barbecue buffet, I only stated myself and my daughter (10 years old). My son, who was playing at the games corner, just wanted some "soft ice cream", and he was really just eating a bunch of things because the other kids were eating too. So I got him some soft ice cream from my share of €24.90 for my buffet. A short time later the “boss” came over excitedly and asked if my son also had a buffet. I described the situation to her and her response was "Your son is not allowed to eat with us". I understand if it actually involved a lot of food, but it was just a bit of soft ice cream. I said I would then pay for the ice cream. In the end the bill came with my buffet 24.90 plus my daughter's buffet 15.90 and a bottle of Fanta 9.90 and €2 for the bit of soft ice cream. It's a disgrace and disgraceful that they really charge €2 for this! Maybe I would have given that as a tip to the waitress but that was really too much. I know other better shops that don't do something like that and even always give my children a little gesture! Small things sometimes touch big things!

I also accidentally clicked on pickup, then called and everything was sorted out within 2 minutes. Food is very tasty, fresh vegetables etc:) the portions are very large 😅👌 Delivery is fast and the food is still really hot:) the sushi wasn't that great and was squeezed too tightly into the packaging.. that was a shame.

Unfortunately the food isn't great... very dry or totally overfat. The last pieces are baked on the bottom of the container. I don't have to spend almost €25 for rice and fried noodles or the grill in the evening, when there were still children screaming at the ice cream and cake counter at around 9:30 p.m.! Since the reviews were relatively positive, we went there on Pentecost Sunday around 7 p.m. It was very loud there because two parties were celebrating there. The buffet was very empty and was not refilled while we were there. The meat that was still there had already spent some time on the buffet and was therefore very hard. You could still take something to fry. Some varieties of this have been there for some time. We won't be coming back.

Some of the food was very dry and inedible. The buffet wasn't even refilled while we were there (90 minutes). And paid 27.90 euros for it (25.90 euros for the buffet + 2.00 euros surcharge for a drink not ordered). Conclusion: no recommendation, never again.

I think I would have liked the buffet much better than ordering from a menu. Even if it was declared as “spicy”, the food was a bit weak. Unfortunately, the high price is not justified, as the portion would have had to have been significantly larger. The buffet, on the other hand, looked great, I'll try it out next time and then re-evaluate it

We were there today to celebrate a birthday, we were kicked out after an hour because we didn't get any information that we had to pay extra...we wanted to pay the full price but they didn't want us there...we won't be coming back

IT is interesting open bar restaurant. I should find What you prefered. Dishes are testy and fresh, and possibility to create your own dish on the grill bar is super.

Not recommended if it is the Hanover Fair at the time. We probably had a bad day because unfortunately it was completely overcrowded due to the trade fair, which meant long waiting times. My girlfriend took me to Lehaha today because she was always very happy. Unfortunately, that was only the case today to a limited extent. The food from the ready-made buffet was really tasty. I then went to the grill buffet and deliberately chose the garlic sauce because it was labeled "not spicy" (I can't tolerate spicy food). When the plate came to the table there was so much pepper on it that unfortunately I couldn't eat it and I hate food waste. My friend got her plate back completely over-salted & when she commented on this, the manager (or head waitress whatever) came to us and said she had TRIED the food(!), there was "nothing wrong with it" and the chef always would do like that. Well, on the one hand, it is more than audacious to tell a guest that the food tastes good and on the other hand, the fact that she tried it is so disgusting in my opinion and I am a restaurateur myself. For us, this restaurant was done. Sad.

We went here because we bought 2 bags from TooGoodToGo. Pick-up time is stated until 9:55 p.m., we were there at 9:50 p.m. We both got a small bowl in our hands which we were allowed to fill, which in itself is a nice thing. However, there was nothing left to fill. The buffet was already completely empty, all the bowls only had leftovers the size of a teaspoon, and almost only breading that had fallen off the meat. When I mentioned that there was nothing left here to refill, the waitress just said we were late and should come earlier next time. Then you should not specify the pickup time until 9:55 p.m. or simply fill the bowls beforehand. In the end we actually drove home with almost empty bowls because there was simply nothing left and the money was free. We are very disappointed and therefore cannot recommend this at all.

Absolute no go! I ordered there today and had a delivery time of 40-75 minutes. It would have been okay if the confirmed delivery time of 7:55 p.m. had been adhered to. Even if it's already 120 minutes. Then I looked and boom, another 40 minutes left. Absolute impudence. I tried to call, no one answered the phone, several times. The food came lukewarm after 160 minutes. The included sauces were so sour that I didn't even touch them. The fried noodles were really bad. I have no idea what it was, but they tasted very bland. Just like the wontons. Not crispy, the meat very unseasoned. I've never been to the restaurant itself, but with the faux pas I'll never eat there either. There are also significantly better fried noodles at cheaper prices at other restaurants.

Unfortunately disappointing on the second visit too. We wanted to give it another chance. Large selection therefore 1 star. But some of the meat was very dry and the employees were very inattentive. Not once was anyone asked if they would like something more to drink. There were no thanks, please or goodbye either.

We were there for the first time, unfortunately I can't say anything about eating because we went straight back out. The waiter was so unfriendly and was in a very bad mood. The buffet was always well filled and clean and the employees were very friendly. The food and especially the shrimp were very tasty.

I believe the score was lowered due to the quality of some of the seafood fairly. In general, the price dictates the quality quite objectively.

This restaurant was a total disappointment. The food was cold and tasteless, like it had been sitting on the counter for hours. The service was rude and disinterested, and it took forever before anyone even came to our table. The atmosphere was dark and uncomfortable, as if you were in a forgotten cellar. Absolutely not recommended, there are far better options in the area!

Too good to go order. I ordered 2 boxes. You will then receive a tupperware container from the restaurant for each order and you can help yourself to the buffet. Some others have even piled very large “piles” on top of their boxes. I thought it was very good, so it doesn't go to waste 🥰

Anyone who gives this restaurant 5 stars either has very low standards or was extremely lucky to get the right dishes. Just because of the sparse and forgetful staff, you have to deduct a point, and everyone has to notice that. Friendliness alone is not enough if the guest almost takes over the service himself if he wants to somehow "get ahead". The all-you-can-eat buffet undoubtedly offers a very large selection, although I would have left the restaurant when I saw the frog legs if I had noticed them right at the beginning of my stay. We really should be able to do without this brutal massacre!! What was noticeable on the way to the buffet was a pungent smell of charred food. Anyone who has ever let bread turn black in the oven knows what that means. This didn't change during the entire stay. Well, in short: seafood with or without shell, fish steamed, fried or in batter, baked squid, ... everything was totally overcooked/overcooked, which you could usually tell by looking at it or unfortunately only when you bit into it. The well-known sweet-sour-spicy vegetable soup had one medium-firm pudding consistency; the vegetables were overcooked, no longer had the necessary bite and hardly any aroma. The sushi was in the refrigerator, but it wasn't cool enough. Some of the sushi were already dried out. The seaweed salad was a little more than room temperature. The ingredients for the dishes that you could put together yourself were also plentiful, but again a large part of them was overlaid/dried/discolored gray. Unfortunately, some of the various sauces on offer that I chose were not convincing in terms of taste. Overall, you should simply offer fewer components and pay more attention to quality. As I said: there really wasn't a lack of variety here, and that also applies to the dessert buffet. Children in particular could really enjoy themselves here; Because in addition to pineapple and melon slices, it mainly consists of large and small chocolate kisses, marshmallows and other sweet snacks, but also small pieces of fruit cake and vanilla + chocolate pudding, all of which also fell victim to insufficient cooling. A soft ice cream machine is really great and I had to try it out. Vanilla ice cream pure or already mixed with two sauces to choose from. Here again: as soon as the ice left the machine, it was half liquid within the next 10 seconds. Oh man !! To be fair: it was a really hot day in Hanover... But you can (and must) adapt the cooling to the weather, especially in the food sector! Then: my data was not requested, I pointed it out myself. I then received a tiny piece of paper with ATTENTION: pre-printed period of stay that did not match my actual one. I'm excited to see how I feel in 14 days... One star for ambience.

I liked only the food. And here you can also put a minus, because cooking on the grill took place in an incomprehensible order and as a result, only a part of the products were prepared for me. It is not clear where the other part happened. Do not call the waiters, and if you do, you have to wait a long time for a glass of sparkling wine. We got tired of waiting and left the establishment. By the way, to thank us for the dinner, the waiter did not say a word, he just left silently, that is, unfortunately, there is no politeness(

Die Öffnungszeiten an einem Samstag waren mit 22:30 Uhr angegeben. Ich erwarte, dass ich bis dahin auch tatsächlich in einer angenehmen Atmosphäre in Ruhe essen kann. Das geht hier nicht. Wir haben an einem Samstag den Tisch um 21:00 Uhr reserviert. Ab 21:15 Uhr begann die Bedienung schon das Buffet schrittweise abzubauen. Ab 21:30 Uhr wurde zusätzlich der Boden gewischt um uns herum und das Buffet fast vollständig abgebaut. Es war schwierig sich noch Essen auszusuchen und es war auch schwierig mit dem Teller auf feuchtem Boden zwischen Wischeimern und hochgestellten Stühlen zum Tisch zu gehen.
