China Restaurant Lehaha-Buffet in Hannover

Good food, good service, a few plants would certainly make the ambiance even more pleasant! 🌴🌺🪷

This isn't my first visit to this restaurant and I've always been satisfied, but unfortunately, this time was a disappointment. The wait staff was rude and took a long time to clear dirty dishes, while they quickly cleared up the dishes at neighboring tables. The seafood we had brought to grill was also undercooked. We had expected better service and higher quality food.

Best Chinese buffet experience so far – Hanover & Langenhagen! I've been to three different Chinese buffets in Hanover and Langenhagen – but this one definitely gets the best rating from me! 🙌 There's a huge selection: soft-serve ice cream from the vending machine 🍦, large cuts of meat, crayfish 🦞, kangaroo meat 🦘, and even frog legs 🐸. Everything is fresh, delicious, and well-prepared. The atmosphere is pleasant, and the staff is friendly and attentive. I'm really impressed – I'll definitely be back! 😊

We were here with two children. Child 1 is 4 years old and child 2 is 5 years old, and we were told that our 5-year-old son should pay the full adult price because he's over 5 years old. The children's menu also states that children aged 3-5 cost €8.90. So, something is seriously wrong here!

We went to the dinner buffet today (4 adults & 2 children aged 4 & 5). After the meal, the waitress explained to me that my 5-year-old son had to pay the full adult price (€25.90). According to the menu and the website, children: 3-5 years = €8.90 6-8 years = €12.90 9-11 years = €15.90 Thanks Lehara, for the rip-off. You'll never see us again 👍

The buffet closes 30-40 minutes before closing time. The selection was okay. Even though we weren't finished eating, we were asked to pay and the buffet was now only open for takeaways. You're indirectly asked to leave. Definitely my first and last visit.

It was a spontaneous decision to go there. I was there on a Sunday and tried both the regular buffet with ready-made meals and the buffet with raw ingredients that were prepared for me. The food tasted very good, and I always appreciate the opportunity to choose from a variety of things.

Unfortunately, we're a bit disappointed. We expected a different kind of cuisine when we thought of a Chinese restaurant. Besides sushi, duck, and rice, there were nuggets, fries, and potato gratin, and it was more reminiscent of an all-inclusive meal in a hotel. The buffet already seemed very selective, and unfortunately, it wasn't refilled. The food was only lukewarm. Perhaps that's because we arrived around 2 p.m., not exactly at 12 p.m. It's a shame. The service was nice, though—something, at least.

Horrible. It didn't taste good. And not really "Chinese." When it comes to gratin potatoes and fries...

Even though I didn't give it many stars, I can highly recommend this place. The lunch buffet is huge. From salads to cold dishes like sushi to a variety of hot dishes and vegetables. There's cake and good soft-serve ice cream, just like I remember from the GDR. The waitress is a bit grumpy, but that's somehow fitting. The ambiance is reminiscent of a train station concourse, but anyone who's ever stayed at an all-inclusive hotel in Turkey with less than 5 stars will know what that means. Great value for money. Highly recommended, and we'll be back.

A great restaurant with a wide selection of good food

I was there for lunch. The buffet is well-stocked with plenty of choice; there's something for everyone. The food is all fresh and appetizingly presented. The wine and sushi were very good and deserved five stars. Unfortunately, the rest was just okay; the cooked dishes weren't perfect. I tried everything, and no one asked for seconds. The convenience items were all fine, but you can hardly go wrong here. Service was attentive and friendly, and the entire restaurant was modern and clean. The bartender shouldn't be eating behind the bar, even when it's not busy. A good three stars, but unfortunately, it wasn't quite enough for fourth.

I went out to eat with my family today. When I was paying, they told me they owed me a tip. That's really disrespectful. The food was delicious, and there's plenty of it, but I don't think the staff were polite.

Unfortunately, we've had several bad experiences – snails in our salad, incorrect bills, and unfriendly treatment of our child. We'll probably come back for the food, but hope for better service.

Very good and varied food from the buffet. There's something for everyone. However, the attempt to make customers pay more is a point of criticism: a drink with a minimum of 0.3L per person is required, otherwise a surcharge of €2 is charged. When ordering one liter of detox water for three people, that results in 0.33L, and yet they ask you to order another drink when paying the bill, which 1. exceeds the €2 and 2. wouldn't have been necessary at all because the minimum per person has been reached. Please clarify.

We were there for lunch and it was quite late. Some of the food at the buffet was lukewarm or even cold. We were told that if you're having the lunch buffet, you should come early, as it would be warmer then. Everything else, the service was nice and friendly, and the buffet selection was simply great, as were the rooms.

We visited the restaurant for lunch. Positives: a large selection at the buffet and prompt clearing of plates. Unfortunately, the quality of the food left much to be desired. Much of it was only lukewarm, the octopus was very tough, and the salmon on the sushi was dry. The soft-serve ice cream from the machine was too soft for my taste. Classic desserts were available, but ice cream from the freezer is only available in the evening. The mixed salad with cucumber, tomatoes, and feta tasted okay, but it was swimming in too much French dressing for my taste. I would have preferred the ingredients without or with less sauce. We found the drink prices high: Alster (0.3 l) and Latte Macchiato each cost €3.90, while a Coke (0.4 l) was even €4.40. The Latte Macchiato had the typical espresso layer, but its flavor was almost entirely milk – unbalanced. The service was businesslike but rather distant. Overall, the price-performance ratio wasn't quite right for us. Those looking for a wide selection and willing to compromise on quality and preparation might still find something to their liking.

The restaurant is nicely furnished. There are also some round tables with revolving tops so that you can eat in large groups. There is a large selection of dishes for front cooking. The buffet is very meaty. Unfortunately, the buffet is rarely refreshed, so the food may not be quite hot or may be a little dry. Otherwise, it is very tasty. For dessert, I would skip the popcorn unless it is freshly refilled (we all know what happens when popcorn is left sitting out for too long). However, the 🍦 is highly recommended as it is really tasty and free. Otherwise, the dessert selection is quite compact.

You can have a variety of dishes cooked live after selecting your meat, fish, and/or vegetables, spices, and sauces, and labeling your plate with your "table clip" (number), which will then be brought to your table freshly cooked. In the meantime, you can choose from the buffet: from sushi (including sashimi – noteworthy!) to various Asian dishes, fries, chicken nuggets, and more. The kids will especially enjoy the soft-serve ice cream machine, as well as the extensive dessert buffet. ⚠️ Caution in some places 🌶️ 🌶️ 🌶️

I always enjoy going to this all-you-can-eat Chinese buffet. It's always clean, the staff is friendly and the food selection is really impressive. There is something for every taste - from crispy spring rolls to freshly prepared sushi. Highly recommended!

In any case, the Lehaha is worth a visit

A Chinese restaurant with lunch and dinner buffets. I was there at lunchtime and therefore wasn't able to eat the grill buffet. In general there is a lot to choose from. From sushi, Peking soup and spring rolls to sesame mochis and jelly. Unfortunately, I think that with this wide variety of dishes, a lot of ready-made products are used. There were maybe four or five dishes actually cooked and prepared. In some cases the food on the edges of the container had dried out, although I would hope that the reason was the keeping warm and not the long storage. The opening times are until 3 p.m. However, the waitress gets nervous at 2:30 p.m. and asks me during the meal whether I should pay with cash or card. In my opinion a no-go. Probably because people from To-Good-To-Go are already arriving at quarter to three, which I'm actually happy to support. But if operators want to avoid a clash between regular customers and TGTG customers, they have to adjust opening hours accordingly.

The employees are not doing their jobs. Never again

We've been there more often now! The food is always delicious and the service is very friendly! We always enjoy coming back and can only recommend “Lehaha”💕🍀😊!!!

We've eaten here before and thought it was great. That's why we drove there again with our special guests (driven a long way) to give them this "good" experience. Well, it was terrible. If a buffet is offered from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m., then they must also offer food until 3 p.m. It's not my problem if there are few guests and it's no longer worth it for them to cook more pasta or fry fish or fill up on all the other things. We had reserved for 13.30 and I assume that I can also eat from the buffet. Well, we kindly pointed out to the employees that there was almost nothing left to eat and they were so extremely unfriendly and said that they couldn't make any sales with so few customers and couldn't make anything new. It was just 2 p.m. The staff called us difficult guests and guests they didn't want and said we should never come back. Really a disgrace. We still paid the full price and even then they didn't take any less, even though we didn't have the entire buffet available. Truly a disastrous experience. Never again.

Everything fine! The service is very attentive and there is a lot to choose from when it comes to food, from fresh fruit to freshly grilled liver. Everything is very juicy and very varied thanks to the choice of many sauces. With buffet and 2 soft drinks I paid €35.

Huge restaurant that is primarily aimed at buffets, including a Mongolian grill. The selection is huge, unfortunately also with dishes that have nothing to do with Asian cuisine. For me, potato gratin and the like have no place here. The food tastes good to very good and the restaurant is barrier-free.

If you don't have high expectations, you won't be disappointed here. But if, full of anticipation, you cut off a piece of the beautifully draped medium roast beef, but then find a cold leather rag in your mouth, you will be very disappointed. The half donut that was so dried out that it crunched in the mouth or the baked duck without duck or the dog (I love dogs) that was drooling on mom's arm into the buffet or the waitress who was loudly upset about the "shitty restaurant" while cleaning the toilets - all experiences that you should have experienced. But that's enough. The quality of the food was mostly below average, sometimes cold, sometimes rancid, but sometimes also really tasty. The “Fanzy spritzers” were surprisingly good. The price is debatable, 75€ for 2 people and a child is already spicy for what is on offer. You have to know.

The food is average for an overseas Chinese restaurant. The service personnel aren't as friendly or helpful as one would expect, especially when it is crowded. Once, after we (with a little baby) were told to sit down by a table, another person came and asked us to move to a different table, instead of showing us to the new table, she simply dropped a sentence like "find yourself table no XX over there" before quickly leaving. Since we're tired we didn't want to leave immediately for a different restaurant, so we accepted the inconvenience. After we managed to find the other table, it turned out that table was indeed occupied. In the end we were asked to move back to the original table...

I was very disappointed with the buffet offering. The service was extremely slow and unfriendly. The wait staff seemed overwhelmed and ignored our requests for drink and food refills. The food itself was of very poor quality. Most of the dishes were cold, dry or simply not freshly prepared. I would not recommend this restaurant and its buffet offering. There are certainly better options in the city. Rating: 1/5 stars

There are different choices. I think there is something for everyone. The food is very tasty and fresh.

IT is interesting open bar restaurant. You should find what you prefered. Dishes are testy and fresh, and possibility to create your own dish on the grill bar is super.

Mold on the dessert, sushi that's totally sticky... thank you very much. Never again!

Great, the service could smile and then the tip would also work

It was okay early Saturday evening, but later it was packed and there were lines of guests waiting at the entrance. The resulting rushed service, stressed service staff (although there was only one who could smile and was friendly), and a loud noise level in the huge room. The selection at the buffet is large and varied, but the taste mediocre. The krupuk was crispy, but lacked flavor, the meat was often tough and dry, and the fish tasted strong. But bringing your own selection to the wok/grill and having it prepared there is fun. However, it took forever due to the large crowds. The atmosphere was more reminiscent of a train station concourse than a restaurant. We probably won't be coming back.

It's disgusting to offer frog legs! Think about how they are “won”?! The frogs are cut alive!!

Everything is great for eating, on our Sunday evening it was packed and therefore loud. But you can get used to it and the food is very extensive and the service is really good.

That was the last time I ate in this restaurant. It was very full and the waiters and owners were very overwhelmed. Despite having made a reservation in good time, I felt like I wasn't welcome with my company of 10 people. We had to wait a long time for the drinks and then plates from the grill were placed on the table that didn't belong to us and that couldn't be assigned, which later turned out to be from the neighboring table. At the end it was said that what was not eaten had to be paid for additionally and could only then be packed up and taken away. The plates were then cleared away in a rude manner and the contents were thrown away. It's a shame because it wasn't my first time eating there and they already knew me.

Restaurant completely overbooked, waiters completely overwhelmed. Fish and meat are not grilled separately! Waiters randomly put plates on the table that we didn't grill and then tried to charge us for them. Underground service! Absolute flop!

We were there spontaneously on a Sunday afternoon/evening (5/6 p.m.) and it was already quite full. Nevertheless, we were still able to choose a place and the buffet was varied and plentiful. Only during live cooking did you have to wait a bit for your plate, but that was completely okay. Everything looked very fresh and was always refilled. We'll definitely come back again :)

This restaurant is not recommended. The food is usually already cold and completely over-seasoned. Guests come to the buffet from every direction; there is no order because there are plates everywhere. The restaurant is very loud and the staff can't smile either. Freshly prepared meals take a long time, for us 25 minutes. We won't eat there anymore.

In principle it's a nice restaurant, but unfortunately it was too loud and too restless for us, but that's my own feeling. The selection of dishes was extensive, but here too it was aimed more at serving the guests quickly. All in all, everyone was full and found something suitable at the buffet.

The buffet is plentiful and tasty, the restaurant is very large and therefore lacks a cozy atmosphere. A little more expensive than elsewhere. Wines are far too expensive for the quality.

I'm really surprised at how positively the buffet is rated here. Admittedly, the food selection is large and there is something for every taste. Food is delivered regularly. Basically, I would like to rate the food more positively, but unfortunately all warm "Asian dishes" taste like flavor enhancers (glutamate). After consumption, a clear glutamate aftertaste remains on the tongue, and everything is very heavily salted. In addition, all the desserts including frozen or ready-made products. In total we paid 64 euros for two people with a drink each, which was not justified given the poor quality of the meat.

The best buffet there is. We always like to come back and are happy about the great selection of delicious food 🥰. Everything tastes delicious and it's cozy too...

A nice restaurant that offers a buffet. Fair selection of food for the price. I was amazed at the selection of fish in the evening - there is a lot of choice and good quality. Rarely seen. For me as a meat eater there was even too much on offer and I would have liked more vegetables. Sauces could be a little thicker. Criticism at a high level, as the price is more than fair for what is offered. Would come again.

I was there once during the week, it was really good. Nothing was refilled this Christmas Eve "Food was cold, complained twice, nothing came. Dessert a lot of cake nothing special. The table still had to be set, despite having pre-ordered!! Children not exactly welcome. On the whole, today everything was not enjoyable Don't have to go again.. 3 stars for ambience. It's a shame but they should have made more effort at Christmas.

A nice restaurant with a large buffet. There are lots of seats and tables for up to 20 people. The buffet is varied and offers something for every palate. In addition to the ready-to-eat buffet, there is also a raw buffet where you can put your ingredients (pork, chicken, beef, kangaroo, turkey, ... meat, vegetables, various types of fish, ...) on your plate and take them with you a clothespin and hand it over to the cook for table allocation. Over time, an employee brings the cooked/fried plate to the table. However, this can vary in time (2 minutes - 20 minutes). Otherwise you can't complain about the food.

Unfortunately, our visit to this buffet restaurant was not as relaxed as we would have liked. We particularly noticed that our two-year-old child was asked his age several times, which was a bit uncomfortable for us. Furthermore, after about an hour we were asked to pay the bill even though we were still eating. We noticed that the boss's presence was due. The restaurant was semi-busy, there were many tables available. We would have liked to have been able to end our stay in peace. We will not visit the restaurant again as this is the second time we have had this experience. We found this to be much more relaxed in a comparable buffet restaurant on the other side of the city - there was also a larger and fresher selection.

I was on a business trip in Germany with my colleagues and liked this restaurant very much. It was clean and tidy and the price was reasonable.

When we wanted to pay and the waitress entered the amount, she asked us if we didn't want to leave a tip? Why don't we tip?... it's not possible. No go. We are elected to tip, but if the service wasn't great and inattentive.. there's actually no tip. We won't be coming back again.
