China Restaurant Beiwi-Buffet in Hannover

The food was very tasty and there was a large selection, everyone will find something. Staff also quick and drinks were brought to the table quickly. Empty plates were quickly cleared away. Would definitely eat there again.

We ate there for the third and last time today. Unfortunately the food hasn't gotten any better from visit to visit! While we were still thrilled after the first visit (food was reasonably warm, duck cross was great, almost zero fat), other dishes were also very good in taste. But even on our first visit we noticed that some of the food was only lukewarm. So far, so good... everything is ok. On the second visit, the food was unfortunately very greasy and sometimes cold. Today, after our third visit, we draw the line: Duck Cross was only Cross (little meat, a lot of fat!), other types of meat were only lukewarm at the most (!). Fried rice very tepid, and the fried noodles were COLD! Would you also like something to drink with your food? Then you have to call the waitress over, nobody comes on their own (except for clearing the plates). I'm not really stingy, but with an experience like today there is no tip. It's best to find another Asian: finding someone worse will be difficult. Do you still want to eat there? Then they park a little further away if possible, because the large (empty!!!) parking lot (where Polo is also) is monitored: The operator of the parking lot has unwanted parkers (seen today!) towed away even on Sundays. Conclusion: 1 star is appropriate.

I am very satisfied with the food, the buffet was often replenished and the preparation was quick and tasty. Meat and vegetables were cooked to perfection. Big praise. The first drinks came quickly... After that, there were one or two delays in the supply of drinks. The ambience... An all you can eat apparently also attracts people who can't behave. And there were too many of them around us that evening.

Not as large a selection as in Langenhagen, but the price is much lower. The meal cost about 17.50 per person and the drink 4.20. If you don’t order drinks, it’s 19.50 per person. Everything is fresh and tasty, I definitely recommend it.

As soon as we came in, the staff asked us if we were standing in the parking lot of the mega zoo because vehicles there are regularly towed away. Otherwise I can't complain ☺️

Let it be!! Food and location catastrophic! There were two of us and we were last here 3 years ago. Back then it was a well-stocked and good restaurant. Emphasis on then. Location: Now we have let go (see picture) of dirt everywhere, the floor has to be completely redone. Hardly any guests left. The buffet: I could only eat spring rolls because the noodles, rice, etc. were very disgusting. There was hardly any sushi selection, which used to be better. Even the fries were no longer fresh. The only good thing was the ice cream, which I had to stuff myself with - and I think that says it all.

Ein typischer Buffetchinese. Samstagmittags war gut was los. Bahnhofshallenatmosphäre. Laut, trubelig. Das Buffet für knapp 19 €. Typische Speisen aber keine frische Zubereitung. Die gibt es wohl nur abends. Alle warmen Speisen war in Ordnung aber wenig besonderes. Die Sushis waren hingegen recht vielfältig und gut. Es gab sogar Aal. In Ordnung, mehr nicht.

The food in Beiwie is very varied. You have a lot of choice. It's actually a very good restaurant, but it's often very noisy. You should divide it up with partition walls, then it would probably be a little better.

It tastes very good and they have a very large selection, even at the Mongolian grill in the evening.

A large hall, correspondingly loud. Quite coolly furnished. Large selection of delicious dishes and desserts at the buffet. Unfortunately, I was no longer hungry after a child helped himself to the buffet, licked the spoon out of the bowl for everyone and put it back in the bowl. An absolute no-go.

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars I recently visited this all-you-can-eat Asian restaurant and overall had a good experience. The choice of food is really extensive - from classic Asian dishes to a fresh section where you can put together the ingredients yourself and have them fried. The staff is friendly and very attentive, which makes the stay very pleasant. The cocktails were delicious, although I would have liked to have tasted the alcohol a little more. A small downer was the sushi, which unfortunately wasn't of the best quality. A highlight, however, was the delicious soft ice cream from the machine, which rounded off the visit perfectly. Overall, a solid restaurant with little room for improvement. I'd love to come back!

We like going to Beiwi because we like the live kitchen very much and it's extensive. The normal buffet is good but needs improvement. The selection at the buffet is also very good, including steak, fillet and oysters. The service is friendly and forthcoming. The acoustics in the restaurant are not that good and are often loud, which is why I deducted a star. The prices for the drinks are very expensive. Nevertheless, we like to eat there because the quality is impressive compared to similar restaurants in the area.

We have been going to Beiwi as a family for years. As with many restaurants, you could see how the quality got worse over the years. The current price is now disproportionate to the offer. For this price you simply expect very good and, above all, fresh, hot food. Unfortunately, this is no longer the case, so we will visit another buffet in Hanover in the future.

Always tasty and nice service and you go out and don't ask for food.

Please DO NOT eat here!! We as a family have been eating there for years. The quality has deteriorated a lot. Today was really the last time. We're just disappointed. The food is below average, the prices are way overpriced, the staff always looks at you askance, and the dessert selection mostly only consists of frozen cakes from Aldi or Lidl. The food is usually only lukewarm. The room temperature in the restaurant is always very cool and cold. And all of this for over €140 for 4 people. There's probably nothing more to add.

Unfortunately I can only rate the buffet. This is excellent and versatile. When Beiwi opened years ago, it was unrivaled in price. Unfortunately that is no longer the case today. There are plenty of alternatives elsewhere for the price of a meal. Then you start thinking about a visit.

The price for the buffet is now 22 euros per person. That's not exactly "cheap", but the offers have been increased. Now you can also get fresh beef steak from the smoker, very tasty. The staff is friendly, attentive and quick. The background noise is harsh, but you quickly get used to it... At first it has a bit of a “train station flair”.

Food is great. Classic Chinese restaurant interior. Recently, according to the homepage, it says that if you don't order a drink with your meal, €2 will be deducted for no reason. You ask yourself how greedy you want to be as an owner. You are not obliged to order drinks and certainly not to simply rip off €2 for no reason. I actually liked the restaurant, but I don't support being so bold.

Very tasty food from the buffet

We have been regular guests for years but today was the last time we were there. We always go to large events as a family of more than 10 people, be it a wedding, birthdays, etc. We were always here. Today we were out and about with my sister and our children. We asked the waiter several times to put the dishes away. He was so rude and didn't come, as another waitress would have to say and she wasn't so enthusiastic and said they had their lunch break and had to something to eat and now she had no appetite, she then put everything away. We weren't welcome at all. That's a real shame. The store has developed very negatively. I don't recommend it to any of the children. It's not child-friendly at all. My daughter jammed her fingers and nobody cared, at the end where we wanted to pay we were told because we didn't order a drink (we paid the bill separately, my sister had paid for the drinks) that we have to pay another €2 more per person, which would cost extra That's a total rip-off, what blew me away again is that we were told that we weren't allowed to stay in the restaurant for more than 2 hours; if you exceeded the 2 hours you would have to pay a fine. This is an outrage, think about it before you set off. I hope for you that you don't have to go through such an experience

Very friendly service. Good choice

I strongly recommend that you LOOK at the buffet before you decide to eat here. The food was terrible, even simple things like rice and noodles were old, dry and not tasting good at all. We tried to eat here but half way through our plates decided that it would not be healthy to continue. Understanding why the restaurant was empty we abandoned it but still had to pay full price despite not even eating food enough for one. I am suspicious of the good reviews that have been written about this place. I am writing this review from the McDonald's across the road.

One of the worst all u can eat to be honest. The food was very cold, the meat was very hard and had probably been there for 3 days. Everything was tasteless, the rice was very dry, even the fresh meat for grilling was tasteless and poorly cooked. Can't recommend it at all, value for money is not there. You will only be disappointed.

I actually always enjoyed being here. But this time the food wasn't good, the rice was hard, and we felt very sick after eating. My entire family had a huge bloated stomach with pain and nausea after just 1 serving. We'd rather go somewhere else to eat...

There is very little food, no variety. The grill is not prepared in the first half of the day. There is not much space in the hall. I recommend going somewhere else.

Update 9/27/22 Almost all of the cutlery at the table wasn't really clean, plates weren't cleared away even though the waiter walked past the table 5 times. Saturday, full, noisy but food OK. For the price you can't complain.

The food was not fresh, very dry and without spices, not a good choice of food, every dish tasted like frozen food. Even if they offered me a free visit, I wouldn't go. Not a single dish was good.

Some things were very dry and unfortunately you couldn't get anything roasted at the buffet.

Never again!!! I don't even know where to start, all the food was very dry, it had all been sitting for a long time, it was all so greasy. Sushi had been there for so long that the rice was extremely dry and when asked, a sushi roll was taken out of a box and put there, which wasn't any better, it was very dry. Everything looked so unappetizing that the staff went around and sorted out the rotten and greasy fruit. 2 adults and 1 child cost a whopping €80. THE WORST THING I HAVE EVER EATED!!!!!!!!!!!

We were there spontaneously on Monday for the lunch buffet and were warmly welcomed. There was a large selection of sushi, salad, small starters such as spring rolls, surimi etc There was also plenty of dessert, even a soft ice cream machine. The skin dishes were varied, but unfortunately some were lukewarm and the meat was a bit dry in the case of beef with onions. The taste was still OK. There are many alternatives for children, such as fries, nuggets and potato gratin. I didn't think the soup was that special. There was also grilled asparagus, which was good, as were the mushrooms. The steamed vegetables weren't my thing either. The duck was excellent, as were the baked surimi and shrimp. So there is a lot of choice in a quality that is OK. Unfortunately, some sauces had a skin on top and had to be stirred first. Overall I would say you shouldn't expect too much, but value for money is OK for 16.90 We would go there again, maybe in the evening when there is still fresh sizzling. Service staff are very friendly and always clear everything away on time.

Four of us went to the lunch buffet today. The last time, food was totally cold. Then we were told and then we said we were sorry and that was all. Nothing fresh was refilled or refilled at all. Everything is old and hard to chew. Not recommendable. Never again!!! With the food and the quality, food poisoning is inevitable!! I give you some wise advice and stay away from this restaurant for your own health!!!

It's a shame... it was very hard to do. Food was very dry, tough and sometimes very seasoned. The sauces were already partially dried out at the edges and had no taste. we're not coming anymore. Way too expensive for what you get.

I was there today at around 1:45 p.m. (Sunday) for dinner with my friend. Nice service, food, large selection. Unfortunately the hot dishes, such as meat and vegetables, were cold or lukewarm and dry. The price per person is €25.95. If it's such a horror price then the entire meal should be offered hot. We will definitely avoid this restaurant in the future. It is outrageous to charge such a price per person for cold food, which was also communicated to the waitress. Overall, prices have been raised so much after Corona. Not with us !

A typical Chinese restaurant in the area, unfortunately the room smelled extremely of fried food and it was difficult to bear. Unfortunately, the waiters had problems understanding us and brought us the wrong drinks and there was a lot of clarification needed about our reservation. Unfortunately, the tables were hardly cleared and our plates were full. There is enough choice, but nothing special in terms of food, a lot of fried food and a lot of glutamate. We were there at lunchtime and didn't think the offer was adequate for the price or the quality.

The ambience was really very nice. The food is delicious, fresh, warm and has a large selection. It was always replenished in a timely manner and it also looked attractive. Despite the large selection, everything was really very good and tasty. There is something for everyone and in different areas such as starters, lunch and dessert. You can also choose a few things raw (meat, fish, vegetables) at a special stand, which will be prepared with a sauce of your choice (grill) and brought to your table. The service is very nice, friendly and helpful. The empty plates and bowls are picked up often and regularly. The store seemed very big, pretty and really clean. At the end you got fortune cookies. Eating it cold tastes like it's been there for a week. I really haven't ever had bad Asian food. Absolutely not recommended.

We were only there for an hour and a half and they kicked us out without telling us that a different price would be coming later. We will never return.

I've been going to Beiwi for many years. Unfortunately the quality of the food and the service has deteriorated from time to time! Stomach and intestinal problems since consumption today. Lately, ingredients are probably being cut at the drinks counter. An employee cut the fruit for the fruit salad and occasionally put her fingers in her mouth. The employee then added the fruit to the buffet without gloves. When I paid, I shared my observation with the waitress and the boss, and the response was a smile. Beiwi is done for me.

The store is a disgrace. The service says buffet + drinks is €2 cheaper than just buffet. The supposed €25 per person turned into €29.80 per person when paying, and the absolute impudence was that when paying with a card, the service lady immediately entered the value as €60. Is Chinese mathematics different from ours? My wife also had an ant on her drink, which we didn't actually want. The cleanliness of the restaurant was also rather poor. We were full, but the whole thing wasn't enjoyable.

NEVER AGAIN!!! We made a reservation for 10 people at 3:30 p.m. and our table was prepared at 3:45 p.m. The food was tough, dry and/or cold. The sauces had been in the container for so long that they had a disgusting, dried-out edge and "skin" on top. On the table next to us there was a whole roast and a mountain of rice drying from the time we arrived until we left. (But if you leave too much on your plate, you have to pay €5.) The empty plates were only cleared away very late, even though there wasn't much going on and service staff were constantly passing by. A waiter dropped loose, folded napkins, he simply picked them up and put them back on the pile with the others. I've been to cleaner rest stop toilets (the stone bunkers with steel bowls). Simply intimidating!

Very pleasant location, the food is very good. However, you should be careful where you park there. If you are in the wrong parking space, the towing company won't be long in coming.

Very nice buffet. Everything is clean and sometimes there is something different. Attentive employees who quickly pick up empty plates or take drink requests. For example, in addition to the typical items, there was also roast suckling pig with BBQ sauce, roast beef and roast lamb. All very tasty :) The desserts that I tried were also arranged in an appetizing manner and were delicious. There is plenty of seating and a good selection of drinks. Gladly again ;) PS: The only important thing is that you don't park directly in the parking lot in front of it, as it belongs to another store. When you enter the restaurant, there are also large signs indicating where you can park.

Very rich buffet, unfortunately I have to revise my rating. When we were here for the first time 6 years ago, everything was delicious and the buffet was very good. Unfortunately things have deteriorated a lot in the meantime and the service also unfortunately leaves a lot to be desired. The dishes are sometimes cold, the meat is often fatty and still tough. Refilling is very slow. The sauces in the containers often no longer look very appetizing and unfortunately stick to the containers after they have been kept warm for hours. The tables near the buffet are very close to the entrance and are designed for 4 people, but you sit very close together. The guests who go to the buffet have to walk very close to the tables, unreasonable! It's obviously still well attended, but I no longer recommend it. It's a shame, we used to be regulars.

Unfortunately the visit wasn't so good for us! The food was partially cooled down and the vegetable side dishes were almost raw. Unfortunately, we couldn't tolerate this without consequences. It was well attended for a Thursday, but we were probably there at the wrong time.

We always enjoy coming here. The food and the staff are simply great. Here you are always greeted and served in a friendly manner and the ambience is really great.

The staff is friendly and nice but the boss is just rude and nasty. We called him several times so we could order but he didn't turn around and didn't come to us. He gave us the wrong drinks that we ordered even though we repeated it several times he didn't believe that my daughter was 11 years old and said she was too old for her age, that she looked older and he wanted to have proof... the food was delicious and was replenished all the time, the staff were nice and came when you needed them 🙂 but the boss is just rude and we won't come again.

We've known it since it opened, have been there several times and have always been satisfied. But this Friday we were there around 6 p.m. and it was a complete disappointment. My husband vomited all night and I felt sick until Saturday evening. We don't know whether it comes from food. Unfortunately the offering was disappointing from dry to dried out. A pity! Paying over 60 euros for a buffet and 3 soft drinks for 2 people... you get much better food in Hanover. We won't come back again.

We were there for the buffet in the evening and it was really, really good! The selection is large, you have a wide variety of meat and fish to choose from and even exotic things like kangaroo meat and frog legs are on offer. A great buffet that leaves no wish unfulfilled! Lovely again

Rip-off!!! At Christmas it was really scandalous, an hour and 45 minutes to eat and then the table was still reserved.
