China-Restaurant Jade in Weinsberg

Stopped in for the lunch buffet and wow! The variety of choices was plentiful and fresh. I ate three different kinds of chicken, a beef dish, vegetables, plus noodles and rice. There were many other options but I did not try even with myself eating 3 plates worth. The staff was kind and yay, someone spoke English which was very helpful since I do not speak Chinese or German. Thank you for a wonderful experience and meal.

Jade is our regular restaurant, the staff are always friendly even when it's busy, the buffet is always fresh, there's a lot to choose from, if you pick up food it's always top notch, the Jade restaurant is highly recommended!!

For a quick hunger that you want to satisfy cheaply and don't have great demands on, that may still be okay... I've never seen a Chinese buffet anywhere that didn't have duck. We actually wanted to eat a la carte but the waitress said: "Everything is available at the buffet." So I thought, then you can eat different dishes. Then I stand in front of the buffet and ask someone from the staff whether the ducks have just flown out because I don't see them anywhere? Answer: no duck at the buffet" RUMMS! By then I wasn't in the mood anymore. The buffet itself was already very skimpy! Vegetables were only fried, the meager remains of the chicken were already stuck on, you had to look for the beef between the onions and pork There was only sweet and sour. I had different expectations from a buffet! Beef was not even refilled within an hour. The same applies to the shrimp. Overall, from my point of view, a very sad performance, although I would like to emphasize the friendliness of the staff in a positive way! The problem lies deeper. You simply cannot offer a buffet in the front room because the space is very limited. Everyone gets in everyone's way. I won't go on about the hygienic conditions in the toilet. Conclusion: This can be done much better, and a Chinese buffet without duck is like football without a ball!

We had the lunch buffet, food was good. Everything was available or filled out immediately.

Der Service ist sehr aufmerksam und flink. Die Getränke und die Suppe kamen recht schnell. Leider liess dafür der Hauptgang auf sich warten. 45 Minuten sind einfach zu lange. Das Essen war geschmacklich gut und lecker, gespart wird am Gemüse, Fleisch gibt es reichlich. Die Preise sind fair. Der Reiswein zum Abschluss schmeckt nicht. Ich kenne das Jade nun schon einige Jahrzehnte. Das sind die Dinge welche verbessert werden sollten, damit ich wieder sagen kann: Es ist wieder ,mein’ Chinese. Ich habe rund fünf Jahre nicht hier gewohnt. Dies zum besseren Verständnis.

Friendly service and very tasty, good food, we always like to go there. Incidentally, both are recommended: eating from the buffet as well as eating à la carte on Sundays.

Conclusion: I would go there again at any time. The food was great and the service was also very affordable. Had dinner there with my wife. The rooms are very chic and we had a table at the back by the window, where it was nice and quiet. The menu looks nice, even in multiple languages, so it's easy to find a suitable tasty meal. I actually had a hard time making a decision because everything looked so delicious. I ended up having duck with vegetables, which was really tasty and extremely plentiful. The only thing that could possibly be improved would be to ask more often about drinks, but that's a small thing. The ladies were very nice and there was a small present as a farewell. And all of this for under €50!

Super delicious traditional Chinese food in a family business for over 30 years, here the boss still cooks personally! We have eaten there many times or taken food home with us. The food is always fresh and the portions are very fair for the price. The staff is always very friendly and quick to serve. We can highly recommend Jade to everyone!

Lunch buffet is okay, but the selection is clear and some of the food is no longer hot. Not really exciting: get full yes, enjoy no.

Menu for 1 person would be offered for 2 people. Reordered rice was tried to be charged extra. Dessert with the menu had to be ordered 4 times and they also tried to charge extra. No overview of the costs when paying (no receipt). The food itself and the ambience were ok.

In terms of taste, the food was excellent, only the buffet was very clear and wasn't replenished in a timely manner, but I assume that it was a problem with the number of customers.

The Jade in Weinsberg was my wife and I's favorite restaurant between 2003 and 2015. Were there every 2 weeks. Due to moving, children, pandemic, etc. we actually haven't been there for 9 years. The time had come last Saturday. We were there with our children. The map hasn't changed. The Jade menu with starter, 2 main courses and dessert, which is popular for us, is still the highlight and a top offer for €20.90. 20 years ago it was €18.50. That's what I call price stability. The ambience is tip-top. Everything clean, modernized and cozy. No canteen feeling like at the big Chinese buffets. And the food was absolutely top. I can recommend it to anyone who is looking for an insider tip that is probably not so secret anymore...

We have been coming to Jade for many years. What particularly strikes me is that the employees in this family-run restaurant are always very friendly and helpful. The menu offers a large selection of dishes, and there is a buffet in the afternoon. In terms of taste, I think the dishes at Jade are definitely in first place regionally.

Food was good. However, waited more than 1.5 hours. Child received food 40 minutes before adults. Glasses were empty for 40 minutes, no reaction.

Unfortunately we received something different than what we ordered. The woman could hardly speak German 🙈but it is still highly recommended

We've always enjoyed eating there for many years, but now we've been disappointed for the third time, we had to wait over an hour for the food each time, the food came to the table at intervals of over 30 minutes apart - that just can't be right, some of the food very poorly seasoned, very little or hardly any sauce and most of the food was only lukewarm. The waitresses seem and act very stressed. We all think that's a shame because Jade used to be a very good Chinese restaurant, "betone was".

It is the cleanest restaurant I have ever been to in Germany. The food is delicious and the service is good. The children are also very happy to see the fish in the fish tank.

Wir waren heute als Familie (5 Personen) da. Tisch hatten wir zum Glück reserviert. Das Restaurant an sich, ist sehr sauber aber viel zu viele Tische. Man hat fast keinen Platz sich frei hinzusetzen, da alles sehr eng ist. Obwohl wir unseren Tisch reserivert hatten wurden wir, nach unserer Bestellung aufgefordert uns umsetzen. Nach einer Wartezeit von 45 min. hatte 1 Person von uns sein Essen bekommen. Als derjenige mit Essen fertig war, wurde dem Rest von uns, Essen serviert, dass wir überhaupt nicht bestellt hatten. Ca. 30 min. später hatten wir dann alle nach und nach unser tatsächlich bestellte Essen bekommen. Das Essen war ok aber leider hat alles gleich geschmeckt. keine Schärfe, viel zu süß, Mayo für die Pommes gibt es gar nicht, zu den Frühlingsrollen gibt es keine Soße, und die bestellte Scharfe Soße war süss. Wir waren alle sehr enttäuscht und hatten tatsächlich schon besser gegessen. Wir würden da nicht mehr hingehen. Das Personal war unfreundlich und vermittelte den Eindruck, schnell essen und bloß keine Anspruche stellen.

Waren heute erste mal im China Restaurant Käse. Haben uns eine Platte für 2 Personen bestellt. Suppe, drei Hauptgerichte und einen Nachtisch, alles lecker. Kommen wieder

Das Essen ist immer schmackhaft, ausreichend und frisch zubereitet. Leider gibt es keine Plätze zum draußen sitzen.
