China Restaurant En Fu in Herrenberg

The food was super tasty. This is a restaurant that actually serves traditional Chinese cuisine and not the European-adapted interpretation of it. We'll be back.

Now the restaurant has changed its owner and has started to cook authentic Sichuan cuisine. The dishes are indeed very authentic and not too surprising, but it is really good to be able to eat such authentic Sichuan cuisine in Germany. The cold beef is quite amazing. The dry pot type is a bit salty, I hope the boss can make it less salty Rice costs 3 yuan a bowl, which is really expensive. 90% of the Chinese restaurants we have eaten have rice for free. Chinese restaurants in the center of Munich only sell rice for 1 yuan a bowl. The boss really needs to adjust the price of rice. Wait, otherwise no one will be willing to come to the store to eat. The overall portion is not too big. Two people ate 80 yuan, 3 main dishes plus an appetizer, rice and drinks. It was very filling. Because the new store has a 20% discount, the average per person is 30-35 yuan. Please support it and give it 4 stars.

Food is ok, very tasty. I've been there a few times and have always had good experiences. Unfortunately, I was pretty disappointed last time. I chose the "all you can eat and drink" offer, but then had to pay extra for the drinks because the waitress didn't say anything about it. Really a shame.

This shop used to be great, there was a buffet that could speak German, the food was delicious 😋, so the food has too much salt in it, the employees can't speak German and it's just too expensive for what you get, you even have to pay for the rice as a side dish I've never experienced 3 euros for some rice in a Chinese restaurant 🍚 so yes. It's just a shame that the old owners are gone. It was empty on a weekend and I can't recommend it in good conscience. As I said, it's a shame we used to go there a lot!!!

We went here for dinner with our kids. The food was really delicious. To us having eaten in China seemed very authentic. The ambience and service was very good as well. We will definitely go back 😃. They don’t have any buffet anymore.

Better avoid restaurant!!!!! I was there yesterday with my family to have a delicious meal, which luckily we didn't do! We had called a few days before and asked if there was a buffet, we were told yes, but when we arrived we were told there wasn't one, which I found very strange. The menus can't even be called menus because everything is mixed up and in really bad German. The lady then came with a few pieces of paper in her hand and stuck them into this “menu”, so everything was pretty disorganized and the prices were also way too expensive. Based on our gut feeling, we left.

It is a very authentic Chinese restaurant, where friends and family order a few dishes together to share. We ordered three dishes today, and each dish was delicious. I am glad that Herrenberg now has such an authentic and delicious Chinese restaurant. The overall environment and atmosphere of the restaurant is very comfortable. The soft music and clean and comfortable dining environment make people feel very relaxed and can enjoy the food. *The service is very friendly and kind. I will go there again next time! Suggestion: It would be better if the rice can be served in a bowl, so that it will be more convenient to pair with dishes with sauce.

I ordered food online from this restaurant, and overall it was a good experience. The food was delicious and full of flavor, but I was a bit disappointed with the portion sizes. For the price, I expected a bit more quantity. However, the delivery was fast, and the service was excellent. I’d recommend it if you’re looking for good-tasting food and quick service, but be aware that the portions might be smaller than expected.

Impudence! I can't say more. When I was eating in this restaurant with my husband, we ordered the "Crispy Duck" and when the waitress brought it, my husband asked if that was all because this portion was very close to a children's portion. We paid €43 and at the end we were insulted that if something didn't fit we should "go eat a kebab". I don't know what's changed, but we've been there many times and we've never experienced anything like it. A FREEDOM NEVER AGAIN!!!

The menu was superficially written in very bad German. Everyone at the next table was also discussing what kind of surprise packages they would get. Have your menu revised by someone who is able to speak and write. It's best to do the whole thing with photos.

Phew, what was that?... The menu was a printed Excel spreadsheet. Absolutely opaque and pure confusion. Portions are tasteless, you had to look for the chicken, and once you found it, it was mostly cartilage. The portion itself is far too small for the price, if you still want to feel hungry after dinner, they are just right. The service didn't know Mezzo Mix and apparently didn't know their own concept in general. Well, I know where I'm not going anymore. Too bad…..

Correction to my review from 2021. The change of tenant and the change of concept (moving away from the buffet) were a complete failure! The menu is confusing and not the least bit informative. You just don't understand it and have to order something like a pig in a poke. And this is how it happens: Food just didn't taste good, it was warmed up, duck skin was limp, boiled and not fried. The chicken dish was COLD!! only the bowl was warmed up. The vegetables were a few onions and peanuts 🤣 I missed the rice,... it is defined as a separate side dish and has to be ordered and paid for separately. Drinks didn't work either, sweet wine spritzer instead of sour, Weizenradler instead of non-alcoholic wheat . However, wine spritzer was made with non-carbonated tap water. Conclusion: A disaster in terms of both the concept and the taste and quality of the food. I will definitely avoid this place in the future. The menu is printed on paper and the food is tasteless. And at the checkout you will be presented with someone else's bill for payment. Be careful! It's a shame that there used to be a good restaurant there, but not anymore

Great food, great seasoning, friendly service, we would love to come back!

Unfortunately, the change of tenant was unsuccessful. The staff was friendly and helpful, but had considerable difficulties communicating. I also had the impression that they had no experience in the catering industry. Other guests left the restaurant again (unfortunately we couldn't anymore). There was no menu. It was a folder with copies of some kind, arranged in a confusing way. Food, oh well. Far too expensive for this quality. Have been to many Chinese restaurants. But we haven't experienced anything like this yet. Everything is a matter of taste - but unfortunately we will forego it in the future. In order to respond to the operator's reaction, I would like to add something to my criticism. I already knew that there was no longer a buffet, and it didn't really matter. Likewise, as a Central European, I have no idea about authentic Chinese cuisine. If I had known about the operator's new concept beforehand, I would not have entered the restaurant. I'm so used to European Chinese cuisine that I can't experiment. Oh yes, one more thing, I noticed the word “duck blood” on the menu. We were actually hoping that it was a small translation error and that it should be called "duck breast". I've given up hope.

Too little food for an exorbitant price. Crispy duck is also just!!! Duck. Nothing else. It is not recommended to visit this restaurant at all.

Everything good, everything tasty, everyone nice.

The seating is very narrow and a challenge even for slim people. Except for one male waitress, the staff was quite friendly. However, the service itself is in need of improvement. We asked for billing at the counter and no one informed us that this would happen at the exit and we were left to sit and wait unaware. There was a single toilet for ladies as the other 2 were cordoned off. The food is generally ok, the baked pudding had an unusual aftertaste. There will be no further visit from us.

From the outside it doesn't give the impression of what's hidden inside - the location isn't that ideal either - but absolutely recommended. Very nicely furnished and overall the atmosphere is pleasantly quiet. We recommend the buffet - (all you can eat) starting with some from the sea - Calamar - Scampi etc. The meat counter (beef, pork, chicken, turkey) is equally great. Plus tons of soups and sauces. When it comes to dessert, no one will be left out! 😉🤤

Very unfriendly staff, poor service, grill plate for fresh meat and fish only started at 12:30, even though it opens at 12:00. Buffet partly cold. Chocolate fountain only turned on when we were already leaving. No heating on, it was cold in the restaurant. No recommendation for us.

It feels like your average Chinese restaurant. Nothing special. But the food offering is plenty, tastes good and the price for the buffet is very reasonable.

I don't like it when I don't get any roasted duck and it's not refilled at 1:45 p.m. My table was reserved for 1:30 p.m. I deduct one star because of the duck

Food is fresh, tasty and very good. However, the all-can-you option with drinks isn't worth it. Since you can't order as often as you want...because there's no service anymore🤣. (You have a lot to do) But otherwise always happy

We were in this restaurant today, February 19, 2024 at around 12:00 p.m. Unfortunately the plates were cold! Also in a plate warmer! Since the food from the buffet was also rather lukewarm, we didn't enjoy this meal. We couldn't pay by card and a receipt wasn't offered. A bit opaque. In my opinion.

Monday evening, 8 p.m.... 3 tables occupied. I chose the buffet (€19.90!!!)... Very bad decision... The food was cold, most of the containers were almost empty and were not refilled. Fruit at the dessert buffet was eaten and wasn't refilled. Fried rice was dried and hard... Probably already fried days ago? Neither taste nor quality was there. In addition, the waiter was quite unfriendly. I've rarely had such bad Asian food. It's a shame about the money and time.

Ich war schon öfter in diesem Restaurant und bin immer vollkommen überzeugt vom Buffet, es gibt die Möglichkeit sich Teller selbst zusammenzustellen und braten zu lassen oder schon aus fertigen Gerichten zu wählen. Geschmacklich finde ich alles immer auf den Punkt, am meisten liebe ich die gesalzenen Erdnüsse zum drüberstreuen;) Egal was ich probiere es schmeckt sehr gut und nicht nach Geschmacksverstärker und Fertigsoßen wie in so manch anderen Restaurants. Die Mitarbeitenden im Service und die Restaurantbesitzer sind wahnsinnig freundlich und zuvorkommend. Ich werde weiterhin sehr gerne kommen, vielen Dank :)

Sehr freundliches Personal, man kann sich das Essen selber zusammenstellen, es gibt verschiedene Arten von Fleisch Krokodil, Kamel, Wild, dann Fisch, Garnelen etc. Einfach perfekt

All You can eat - zu normalen Preisen. Auswahl gut aber oft fehlen Speisen, Bedienungen sind kommerziell freundlich. Update 2022-09-09 Die kommerzielle Freundlichkeit hat sich in eine rasende Eile mutiert. ;-) Leider wird das Buffet nach wie vor nur zögerlich nachgefüllt. Etwas ungemein störendes: der Schoko-Brunnen. Er brummt extrem laut, dass er im gesamten Lokal störend empfunden wird. Update 2023-01-13 Der Schoko-Brunnen brummt nun noch lauter, zwischenzeitlich unerträglich, selbst in der hintersten Ecke des Lokals. Update 2023-12-03 Ab 20:30 wird das Buffet nur sehr schleppend aufgefüllt. Frisch-Zubereitungen sind dann leider auch nicht mehr möglich. Der Schokobrunnen nervt nach wie vor - offenbar aber nur die Gäste.

Preis-Qualität stimmt nicht überein. Unsere Preise war ~60€ Tom-Yum-Suppe ist nicht das, was man erwartet, sie besteht aus drei Pilzen und Peperoni. Nudeln und Reis sind bereits mit Gemüse vermischt und werden in anderen chinesischen Restaurants meist separat serviert.

das Buffet hat eine tolle Auswahl, wird immer aufgefüllt (auch abends) und es schmeckt super lecker. Der Service ist top, freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Preise sind auch absolut angemessen. Waren sehr zufrieden und kommen gerne wieder. Das Buffet ist sehr zu empfehlen. :)

Ich als sehr kritischer Konsument war mit meinen Kinder am 2.9.23 zum Essen anwesend. Es hat sich rundum gelohnt, hier zu Essen. Die Kinder waren auch zufrieden. Alles hat gepasst. Auch die sanitären Anlagen. Bis zum nächsten mal. Danke an die Belegschaft.

Buffet gut, aber sehr überschaubar. Bedienung quasi nicht vorhanden und ein einjähriges Kind wird voll berechnet.

Sehr leckeres Buffet, man kann sich in einer schönen Atmosphäre gut unterhalten. Bedienungen sehr freundlich. Alles frisch und es wird ständig nachgefüllt. Kommen gerne wieder.

Das Essen ist wirklich gut, wir kommen schon seit Jahren und sind immer zufrieden. Nette Inhaber und gutes Sushi. Aber der Weg und der Treppenaufgang zu den Toiletten, der nach Schischabar stinkt ist das einzige Manko, hier strotzt es vor Spinnenweben. Einmal mit dem Staubwedel lang und alles wieder top sauber.

Ich bin ehrlich... Ich war vielleicht insgesamt schon drei mal in diesem Restaurant. Das Buffet gefällt mir, aber nur die bereits fertigen Speisen. Alles was warm ist. Das süß sauer Hähnchen ist für mich eine Delikatesse, die kleinen Frühlingsrollen, Reis und das Gemüse. Aber alles was roh ist, der Fisch und das Fleisch fand ich ungenießbar. Ich werde davon nie mehr essen...tut mir leid. Ambiente ist für mich wie in ein typisches asiatisches Restaurant hier in Deutschland, die Bedienung war OK. Das Bier war lecker und kalt. Das Sushi vom Buffet ist ebenfalls zum vergessen. Mir ist klar das da kein Luxus Sushi angeboten wird wie beim Japaner, aber das ist überwiegend surimi Zeugs..nicht lecker.

Nettes freundliches Personal, ständig frisch nachgefüllte Buffet, frische Ware leckeres Essen bin gerne dort bin Stammkunde und werde immer höflich und freundlich begrüßt. Kann es nur weiter empfehlen

Sehr leckeres Buffet. Schöne Atmosphäre und nettes Personal. Essen sehr sehr vielfältig. Der schokobrunnen ist auch klasse - entgegen den Bewertungen vor mir - ist das Geräusch nicht störend! Wir kommen gerne wieder :-) Parken kann man gegenüber im Parkhaus Bronner Tor!

Sehr große Auswahl an Essen. Schmeckt alles hervorragend. Man kann spontan hingehen und sich entweder am Buffet halten oder von der Karte bestellen. Auch größere Gruppen sind erwünscht. Man bekommt schnell ein Tisch und die Leute sind echt nett und zuvorkommend. Nur zu empfehlen . Preis Leistung stimmt!!! Es gibt auch noch eine sehr große getränkeauswahl außerdem wenn man für eine größere Summe bestellt bekommt man auch von Ort ein alkoholischen Getränk spendiert wenn man bezahl .Abends oder am Wochenende gibt es auch noch ein erweitertes Buffet mit fleich das man dich selbst aussucht und dann auf den Grill vor deinen Augen zubereitet wird, natürlich kostet es mehr. Lohnt sich aber !!

Ich bin vollkommen zufrieden mit den Angeboten hier im Restaurant. Auch die am Nebentisch waren alle sehr zufrieden. Das Buffet war reichlich und es wurde darauf geachtet, dass es immer aufgefüllt war. Bedienung war sehr freundlich. Ich kann dieses Restaurant weiterempfehlen!

Einfach immer ein schöner und leckerer Besuch mit top Personal

Früher war die Qualität des Essens besser. Unter der Woche wird sehr langsam aufgefüllt.

Zu wenig und gestresstes Personal. Obwohl bis 14:30 Uhr geöffnet war der Mitarbeiter am Grill 14:00 Uhr nicht mehr zu sehen. Essen war trocken gut und auch immer aufgefüllt. Das Ambiente ist lieblos und alt. Leider kein Wiederholungsfaktor

Wir waren Sonntagabend da. Leider gab es sehr lange Wartezeiten beim Teppanyaki Grill. Es dauerte auch lange bis Sushi aufgefüllt wurde. Dieses Mal leider nicht zufrieden!
