China Garden Lee in Königslutter am Elm

I went there spontaneously with my parents for a buffet dinner about 3 weeks ago. Even though we hadn't made a reservation, we were warmly welcomed and quickly shown to a comfortable table. You're definitely not always that lucky, because it quickly became very crowded, which I was soon able to understand. The lovely ladies in service are extremely quick, very attentive and super friendly. The used plates are cleared away in no time and as soon as a drink is empty, you can get a new one very quickly. The dishes from the buffet are all absolutely delicious and seem super fresh. It will also be restocked quickly if something is out of stock. There is everything your heart desires... from salad to spring rolls and soup to fried rice, crispy duck, chicken and fried fish, vegetables and even a selection of desserts from ice cream to cake. The only thing I could complain about or suggest changing would be that there could be two more dishes that weren't spicy. But even so, people who don't like spicy food can find a lot of tasty things. The price-performance ratio is also completely okay! Otherwise, all I can do is give you an unqualified recommendation. We'll definitely be happy to come back and are already looking forward to it!

China Garden in Königslutter is definitely worth a visit! The restaurant impresses across the board, from the food to the atmosphere and service. The culinary selection is diverse and offers something for every taste - be it freshly prepared fried rice, crunchy vegetables with tender meat or the delicious fried shrimp and squid rings that are perfectly crispy and taste excellent. The quality of the food leaves nothing to be desired, everything is fresh and wonderfully seasoned. Particularly noteworthy is the cozy and inviting atmosphere of the restaurant. The furnishings are tasteful, and a special highlight is the open pool with koi and turtles, which is a real eye-catcher not only for children but also for adults. It gives the restaurant a relaxed, harmonious touch and impressively underlines the Asian ambience. The service also deserves high praise. The service is extremely friendly, accommodating and makes you feel comfortable right from the start. Wishes and inquiries are fulfilled quickly and with a smile, which rounds off the overall impression positively. All in all, China Garden is a wonderful place to spend a pleasant evening with delicious food. Whether for a romantic dinner for two, a family outing or a meeting with friends – everyone feels welcome here. We'll definitely be back!

Unfortunately, the outdoor area is not well maintained! The ambience outside leaves a lot to be desired. The staff is friendly and service-oriented.

Buffet. Unfortunately, it's a store that's layout is rather bad for buffet food. Too crowded and very long queue at the buffet. Food ok.

It's okay, delicious food... you can definitely visit.

We sat outside in beautiful weather. The outdoor area is very unkempt, there are still leaves and plant remains from the winter lying around. The table was only wiped down when requested. The tables inside were set and we had to bring our own cutlery from the buffet. The food is very Germanized, thickened sauces, a lot of fried foods. Ready-made salad dressing from “Gut und Günstig” right away in the bottle. THAT can definitely be better.

Things that are on the map don't exist. They say on the phone that there is a buffet, then you arrive and there is no buffet. Really bad!

05/18/24 The China Garden is newly renovated. Everything shines in bright, friendly colors. The buffet, as always, was super delicious.

We went there for a buffet meal. We arrived there at 7:45 p.m. and were able to go straight to the buffet. If something was missing, it was refilled and there was plenty of choice. Soup, sushi, rice, noodles, various chicken and beef dishes, duck, fish and shrimp, then sweet desserts and at least 6 types of ice cream and various sauces. The drinks service was quick and always very friendly. The small pond in the restaurant is pretty with fish and we counted 5 turtles. I would eat here again and recommend it to others. I'm jealous of everyone who can eat here because our Asian restaurants aren't as good as this one

Was in this restaurant today for the first and last time. The ambience was dated. The place was dirty. There were many dirt stains on the wallpaper. There was a picture framed by cobwebs hanging over our table. The service was friendly and we were served quickly. A starter and a side dish were not served. The service person claimed that we hadn't ordered the two dishes. At the end the lady became unpleasantly loud. The lady was then accompanied out by a colleague. As an apology we (five people) received a small bottle of wine. I don't know which was worse. The behavior, the employees or the dirt in the restaurant. I don't want to know what the kitchen looks like...

The location is easily accessible. Parking spaces are available in front of the restaurant (3-4). We were warmly welcomed and shown to our seats. The waiting time until the food and drinks were brought was completely fine. The price-performance ratio was right and the food was very tasty and the portion size was almost too much, so in a positive sense. The service was very friendly and attentive. I also liked the ambience. The sanitary facilities were clean and undamaged, but there was not enough light for the ladies. Overall, a nice restaurant where everything is well coordinated. Definitely recommended in Königslutter.

Leckeres Essen, faire Preise und sehr netter Service! Sogar Hunde sind im Restaurant erlaubt.

Gutes Essen, Buffet, eine Bedienung war sehr nett, eine andere hatte wahrscheinlich nicht ihren besten Tag.

War das erste und auch das letzte mal dort. Das essen vom Buffet war nicht wirklich warm, dazu kommt noch das es sehr fettig/ ölig war. Zum Thema Geschmack will ich gar nichts erst anfangen zu schreiben. Ich kann es auf keinem Fall weiterempfehlen.

Ein sehr netter gemütlicher und sehr hübsch eingerichteter Laden, in der Nähe des Bahnhofs. Wir durften unseren kleinen Hund mitbringen das war kein Problem. Der Service war schnell und nett, das Essen kam schnell und war köstlich. Sehr zu empfehlen!

Das Rindfleisch war so zart. Und die Bedienung war unheimlich freundlich:). Da muss man Essen.

Preis-/Leistung stimmt, leckeres Essen mit Angeboten für Kinder, die individuell angepasst wurden. Sehr sauber, auch die sanitären Einrichtungen. Unsere Tochter durfte die Fische und Schildkröten füttern, war ein Highlight.

Absolutely lovely chinese food. We had the Duck ala Hong Kong, and beef with black beans. Honestly the nicest chinese ive had. It was so good, that we came back for the buffet the day after. They also have nice pool with fish and turtles, which kept our 2 year old occupied. Big recommends.

Nettes kleines Restaurant mit sehr leckeren Essen. Wir hatten Ente mit Nudeln und Hühnchen mit Curry, was beides sehr lecker und ausreichend groß war.

Essen vom Buffet geschmacklich sehr fragwürdig. Wir gehen nicht noch mal hin. Das Beste war das Becken mit echten Fischen und Schildkröten in der Mitte des Restaurants. Ambiente daher gut, aber Essen eher nicht so prall.

Sehr freundliche und zuvorkommende Bedienung, schmackhafte Zubereitung der Speisen, vorbildliche Einhaltung der Hygiene-Regeln.

Leider nicht so gut wie erhofft. Wir waren an einem Samstag gegen 20 Uhr vor Ort und trotz der Info, dass es bis 21.30 ein Buffet gibt, gab es für uns nur noch à la carte zu bestellen. Das Essen selbst war leider nicht so gut und auch der Service konnte uns nicht überzeugen.

Essen war gut und preiswert. Getränke etwas teuer, Lokal könnte eine kleine Renovierung vertragen.

Leider alles sehr sehr eng die Räumlichkeiten.... am Buffet lange warte Schlangen.

Das Essen schwankt in der Qualität. Mal super lecker und wie beschrieben - mal flach im Geschmack und wie heute war auch das beschriebene Gemüse nur Sprossen.

Als großer Liebhaber der chinesischen Küche gehen wir ganz häufig in Berlin Holstein und Niedersachsen chinesischen Essen und sind meist zufrieden. Aber unser absoluter Favorit ist das Restaurant in Königslutter unsere Empfehlung ist z.B.die Fernostplatte ,einfach ein Genuss, Wir freuen uns schon wieder auf unseren nächsten Besuch

Es schmeckt sehr normal. Nicht sehr gut aber auch nicht schlecht also nix besonderes leider.
