Beware of mold! Even the greeting started off quite unfriendly and harsh. The selection of food was small for the very high price for a frustration buffet. The display was rarely replenished. The pancakes were either dry and burnt or undercooked. With many of the other products you could taste that they were just ready-made meals and not freshly prepared, which I found to be unacceptable at over €20 for the buffet. Last but not least, there was a moldy slice between the cheese slices. When informed, the cheese was then exchanged, but no compensation was offered. Definitely not worth a visit!

Saturday morning, the five of us wanted to have breakfast. We made a reservation and made a mistake in the time, meaning we were there 30 minutes early. The waitress pointed this out to us in an unfriendly manner and directed us outside. When the time finally came, we sat down and were asked about the drinks. The walk to the buffet didn't take long; soggy pancakes, moldy cheese and dirty glasses ruined our meal. The service was poor, if you needed something you always had to look for someone and ask yourself. We wouldn't recommend the buffet because for €22.50 the food is a disgrace!

On the occasion of our wedding anniversary, we wanted to go out for breakfast and try something new. Brisand was easy to reach from where we lived and so we ended up there. A very good decision! The buffet was attractively set up, there was plenty of coffee, tea and hot chocolate at the buffet and the selection was very good. All the dishes were delicious, the rolls were fresh and the service was also very friendly. We'd love to come back!

I had the currywurst. The sauce was really incredibly tasty and the fries were fresh and crispy! My husband had Königsberger Klopse and found them very weak. My daughter thought she was okay. My son thought the children's noodles were very good! If the waitress notices that someone wants something or that something is missing, they are really very friendly! Unfortunately it was very crowded and therefore the two ladies were very challenged. Unfortunately, there is hardly any space for children to get some exercise. But behind the BriSand there is a beautiful green area and a small, pretty stream with a bridge. It is very difficult to evaluate the ambience as it is always a matter of taste. I think a little bit more decoration would be very nice. Everything is kept right.

As always, a very tasty breakfast buffet with a large selection and very nice service. We always enjoy coming here.

The service was quick, helpful and friendly and a funny exchange was also possible. All drinks and food were to our satisfaction.

Food was okay, I found the prices too expensive and the side dishes too few. The mayonnaise and changed side dishes were not brought (e.g. fries instead of fried potatoes, etc.) unfortunately they no longer had any currywurst or mushrooms.

We were there for brunch. Rolls are fresh. Presentation of food - not optimal, room for improvement. Food is refilled - but you have to wait quite a long time. The juices are with water content, for self-service from a cooling device. Service - friendly.

We were there for brunch. We cannot rate any other dishes. All dishes offered were delicious and fresh. The service is very friendly and attentive. I would describe the atmosphere as modern and chic. We will definitely stop by again for dinner or coffee. It is advisable to reserve in advance!

I was in Königslutter again after a year and remembered Cafe Brisand. Back then it was full (we got the last seat) this time (on Saturday at 3 p.m.) it was very, very empty. The selection of cakes was small. The Frankfurt wreath I ordered was old and dry - the poppy seed piece was also so-so. So very disappointing. Remember: Not again.

Unfortunately the service didn't work for Mother's Day. And the surcharge was a disgrace

Disappointed! We thought it was extremely cheeky to raise the prices so much just because it was Mother's Day. Normal Sunday buffet 22 euros. And today we had to leave 27 euros?! There was no difference to usual. When asked, the explanation was “it was Mother's Day” - Aha.. Thank you. There is also no information about changed prices online or on the homepage. We have been with you so many times, but today we were bitterly disappointed. No service, asking if we would like to drink anything other than coffee, nothing. Plates were piled up on the tables and when we asked if we could get more coffee, we (a group of 12 people) were told that there was a little bit left in our second pot and that would probably be enough. The buffet was not filled and unfortunately it took an incredibly long time until fried eggs and croissants were available again. All of this for almost 30 euros is simply too much of a good thing, you've probably shot yourself in the foot.

Very crowded on Mother's Day, long waiting times for new food at the buffet as well as for coffee and the surcharge for Mother's Day is already steep at €6. The advance information was also missing, as the staff told us, it would be on paper and on the internet, none of us knew, read or saw anything about it 🤷‍♀️

We ordered a table for three people to eat and were greeted in a very friendly manner. The food (three different dishes) was very good and plentiful. Special requests regarding supplements were responded to without any “complaining” and pointed out other options. Food (veal liver, asparagus with turkey schnitzel, BriSand schnitzel) top. We'll definitely be back!!! Thank you very much for this evening.

Location is clean, staff is nice. The food is actually good too... but unfortunately the portions are usually too small for the price. I think a dish for 15 or 20 euros should be enough to fill you up.

We went to the Sunday break for the first time and were pleasantly surprised. The buffet was rich, there was something for everyone. The service was top.

We went there for coffee and cake. Unfortunately, we were greeted in a very unfriendly manner, and the unfriendliness continued throughout our entire visit. The unfortunately very unfriendly service staff could be heard from all corners, even though they were far enough away, a very unpleasant stay. Apparently we weren't welcome as guests and we felt that. The cappuccino and the piece of cake were very tasty!

In March 2024, five of us were here for breakfast on a Saturday. An absolute recommendation! There was a wide selection at the buffet, including unusual items such as sour meat. It's always being refilled, and everything looked just right. The service was unobtrusive but very attentive. Top!

Incredibly disappointed. The service and hospitality is below all s**. The question “whether there is still a table available” has already received a sloppy answer. We just felt imperfect, but we gave it a chance. After 20 minutes we still hadn't been served! There was neither a “I’ll be there in a moment” nor a “it’s very busy today, it might take a while”. After an unfriendly greeting you would apparently simply be forgotten! The highlight was that 6 other guests who came well after us were served before us! I don't know if you are served in the cafe based on your looks, age, wealth or something similar. This cannot and should not happen. We were very patient with everything but at some point the camel's back overflowed. The waitresses didn't care at all about our departure and, like when we greeted them, they approached us very rudely, the café apparently doesn't need to keep customers! No understanding or explanation as to how this could have happened was expected. No excuse, just NOTHING. NEVER NEVER EVER AGAIN. I have it in everyone Snack bar more service!

Had dinner with a friend today and can only report positive things. Great waiters, the food was very tasty and we really liked the atmosphere. We will be back definitely!

Recommended and a highlight for Königslutter! Large café with outdoor seating and additional rooms for groups! The service is very attentive, the kitchen is okay, confectionery is extensive, value for money is reasonable, the atmosphere is pleasant. Entrance with automatic door accommodates customers. There are enough parking spaces and you can do your shopping right across the street. So, just try it out!

Here you can drink coffee and eat delicious cake very comfortably. We felt very comfortable.

Wenn man hier zum frühstücken herkommt sollte man vielleicht vorher ein Platz reservieren. Frühstück ist reichhaltig und schmeckt. Wer hier nicht Satt wird ist selber schuld. Bedienung ist freundlich und aufmerksam. Das Ambiente ist für ein Kaffee in Ordnung also nicht viel schickimicke sondern angepasst. Komme hier gern hin

Hat sich enorm verschlechtert am Wochenende war es sehr voll und es gab Aufback Brötchen.... Wir haben 120€ bezahlt für Buffet mit Aufback Brötchen. 22,50€ pro Person mit Aufback Brötchen!!!!

Wir treffen uns hier immer sehr gern mit Verwandten aus OC. Aber auch meinen runden Geburtstag habe ich hier sehr gern gefeiert. Das Team ist immer freundlich, der Service ist klasse und die angebotenen Speisen seeehr lecker :-) es gibt auch immer zusätzliche Speisen. Nicht zu vergessen die leckeren Kuchen und Torten. Einfach alles sehr schön und angenehm. Sehr gerne wieder!!!

Sehr gutes Frühstücksbuffet mit sehr guten Preisen. Die vergleichbare Konkurrenz ist zum Teil um 10 Euro teurer. Montag bis Freitag 16,50€ für das Frühstücksbuffet am Wochenende 19,50€. Kaffee ist inklusive. Vor allem am Wochenende empfiehlt es sich zu reservieren.

Sieht von außen unscheinbar aus, scheint aber angesagt zu sein. Sonntag morgen um 9.00, alle Tische belegt. Es gab Bufett und reichlich. Süßes, aber auch geschmorte Champignons, Rühr oder Spiegeleier und vieles mehr. Lachs, welchen ich nicht mag, aber auch fritierte Garnelen. Sehr lecker. Und Kaffee wir immer nachgebracht und kostet nicht extra. Teller wurden gleich abgeräumt, Bedienung sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. War ein gelungener Vormittag in einem sehr schönen Ambiente. Gerne bald mal wieder.

Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis beim Frühstück ist unschlagbar. Der Service ist Top und gut eingespielt. Wir kommen gern wieder .

War an einem Freitag Abend mit einer Freundin dort, sie war schon begeistert und hat mich überzeugt. Nette, zuvorkommende Bedienung, leckeres Essen und ruhige Lage. Schade nur, dass dort nur bis 21 Uhr geöffnet ist.

Das Restaurant war für einen Samstagabend nur spärlich besucht. Es gab statt der normalen Speisekarte nur eine abgespeckte Version., folglich nur eine verminderte Auswahl. Die Currywurst mit Pommes war okay, das Schnitzel mit Spiegeleiern war durchschnittlich. Die Bratkartoffeln dazu vermutlich Convinion Food. Zudem hatte das frisch gezapfte Duckstein den optimalen Punkt schon überschritten, war leider etwas sauer. Angeblich war das Fass leer : ( Aber die Bedienung war nett, wenigstens etwas ; )

Nach dem ein Messer auf Boden gefallen ist, wurde er trotzdem sofort für die Kuchen schneiden benutzt

Das Frühstücksbuffet ist gut, Bedienungen sind sehr nett. Das abendliche Schnitzelbuffet kann man getrost vergessen, Bedienungen sind nach wie vor sehr nett. Zum Schnitzelbuffet: - Fleisch war maximal Mittelklasse - Panaden, Pommes und Kroketten waren durch das Warmhalten weich geworden - Saucen waren geschmacklich nicht gelungen bzw. aus der Tüte Fairerweise muss ich ergänzen, dass wir im brisand mittags schon mehrfach gut gegessen haben. Die Qualitätsunterschiede liegen vielleicht am jeweiligen Koch?

Spontan mal nach Königslutter gefahren, der erste Besuch im brisand. Parkplätze vor der Türe vorhanden, im Laden relativ wenig los Freitags um 12.30 Uhr. Wir hatten freie Platzwahl. Wir wurden umgehend mit Speisekarten versorgt. Vorweg nicht nach Getränken gefragt, was ich nicht schlimm fand. Wir entschieden uns beide für das Wiener Schnitzel vom Kalb. Dazu werden Bratkartoffeln und Gurkensalat serviert. Die große Flasche wird mit Flaschenkühler auf den Tisch gestellt, gut so ! Der Gurkensalat wurde vorweg serviert, Dieser war wirklich Klasse, wie von Oma. Die Bratkartoffeln waren ebenfalls wie von Oma, zum Glück nicht in Öl schwimmend, sondern knusprig / kross von aussen. Die Schnitzel waren gefühlt unterschiedlich groß, meine Frau bekam das größere - nahm ich aber nicht persönlich ;-) Es hätte evtl. kürzer gebraten werden können, dafür mehr Hitze. Ist aber Kritik auf höherem Niveau. Alles in allem waren wir sehr zufrieden und werden wieder zum essen ins brisand kommen.

Das Frühstück ist sehr teuer und das Angebot leider oft nicht dementsprechend. Schade- wenn man jemanden einlädt- das kann schief gehen.

Hallo liebe Leser. Mich hat es nach Königslutter verschlagen. Erst dachte ich, dort gibt es nur alte Restaurants und Cafés. Doch da sah ich durch Zufall das Brisand.... Unscheinbar im Einkaufszentrum und Altenheim, doch das Innere hat mich total überzeugt. Das Servicepersonal war echt nett und zuvor kommend. Dafür gibt es Daumen hoch... Das Kuchenbuffet war echt Weltklasse, dort wird der Freund der Süße auf seine Kosten kommen. Die Speisekarte war total interessant, da wurde ich nicht enttäuscht. Das Essen war sehr gut, das Preisleistungsverhältnis ist absolut gut. Da es dort, laut Karte auch Themenbuffets gab, werde ich das nochmal ausprobieren. Mein Fazit dieser Besuch hat sich echt gelohnt, seit ihr in Königslutter und wollt euch wohlfühlen, dann bitte das Brisand.

Beim Frühstück im BriSand passt das Verhältnis von Qualität resp. gebotener Leistung im Allgemeinen nicht zu den Preisen. Wenn ich über 15€ für ein Buffet bezahle, was von großen Hotels mal abgesehen schon ein gesalzener Preis ist, bei dem ich etwas dafür bekommen sollte, dann erwarte ich sowohl qualitativ als auch quantitativ (also von der Auswahl) deutlich mehr. Zum Beispiel erwarte ich, dass ich nicht für jeden Cappuccino extra zahlen muss, oder aber auch mehrere Brötchen und Backwaren zur Auswahl habe, nicht nur das Obligatorische. Das gleiche gilt für die Auwahl an Joghurt, Quark, Obst etc. Die Qualität hingegen war gemischt; vieles war in Ordnung, allerdings die Backwaren dann doch eher mäßig, genauso wie die Tatsache, dass es keinen frischen Saft oder irgendetwas dergleichen gab, sondern nur einen Automaten. Ebenso die Auswahl an Marmeladen und Aufstrichen ließ genauso wie die Qualität derselben zu Wünschen übrig. Ich hätte auch gerne ein paar der schönen Kuchen aus der Auslage am Buffet gesehen. Zudem ist die Auswahl leider nicht konstant - man findet auf einmal Sachen am Buffet, die vorher nicht da waren, auf einmal aber dann auch wieder weg sind. Zudem war es um das Buffet ohnehin ziemlich überfüllt, der Platz also schlichtweg zu eng. Der Service war insgesamt ok. Einem geschenkten Gaul.... usw. Ich war eingeladen, da will ich dann also weder vor Ort meckern, noch mich beschweren. Fazit aber trotzdem: Wenn ich in der Region vergleiche (und dabei freilich nicht mit den großen Kettenhotels dieser Welt, die 25€ + x nehmen), bekomme ich für ähnlich viel Geld deutlich bessere Leistung. Das Produkt ist nicht unheimlich schlecht, aber es ist zu teuer.

Wir waren am Donnerstagabend - auf dem Weg von Berlin - in diesem sehr schönen Bistro eingekehrt. Eine unerwartet gute Speisenkarte mit ausgewogenen Angeboten. Wir haben uns für frische Pfifferlinge und überbackene Tomaten mit Morzarella entschieden. eine gute Wahl! Sehr ansprechend garniert, äußerst schmackhaft und durch eine überdurchschnittlich freundliche Bedienung sehr kundenorientiert an unseren Außentisch gebracht. Auch der einsetzende Regen konnte der Freundlichkeit nichts anhaben. Wir haben uns hier sehr wohl gefühlt und haben gestärkt unsere Weiterfahrt angetreten. Herzlichen Dank! Am Liebsten essen wir hier amerikanisches Buffet ;-) Spargeltag auch sehr empfehlenswert. Nette Bedienung, tolles Ambiente, was will man mehr ??!!

Das BriSand verbindet das ansprechende Kuchenangebot eines Cafres mit einer vielseitigen Speisenkarte eines Restaurant. Wir waren wegen Staus auf der Autobahn zu einem Zwischenstopp nach Königslutter gefahren und wollten vor der Weiterfahrt noch einen nachmittäglichen imbiss einnehmen. Dazu bot die Tageskarte eine schöne kleine Auswahl frischer und sofort verfügbarer Speisen an. Es ging schnell und schmeckte gut. Der Service war superfreundlich. Der Preis sehr angemessen. einziger kleiner Abstrich : Das ursprünglich aus Königslutter stammende Duckstein-Bier wird nicht mehr dort, sondern von einer Großbrauerei außerhalb der Region gebraut. Aber dafür kann das BriSand nichts und schlecht war das Bier trotzdem nicht.

Nichts besonderes, hatte Hirschgulasch mit Spätzle, war doch recht uninspiriert. Service war gut. Leider keine Kreditkartenakzeptanz
