Huge selection and most of the dishes tasted very good! (a matter of taste) Very large restaurant! Everything was always refilled as soon as something was empty!👍 Gladly again!😁

Lunch table, price and ambience okay. Lots of meat selection. Unfortunately, there is even less choice of pure vegetables or desserts. Just chocolate/vanilla pudding, lychees, grapes and jelly..

Something new, a buffet ie something like a buffet

I was there for the lunch buffet with my companion. The buffet had plenty of options, both for meat eaters and for me as a vegetarian. The food was very tasty, even the double expresso was great. The staff is very friendly and makes a real effort, some waiting times are simply due to the extremely full restaurant. However, the atmosphere is a bit sterile and hectic due to the many guests. The bench I was sitting on was too soft or sagging at the back, you somehow “fall” into the bench. You can only sit properly on the front edge. Comfortable is different. The ambience is the only criticism - point. The two of us had 2x buffet, 3 cokes, 1 cappuccino and a double expresso for under 47 euros, which was absolutely fine. I was able to park for free behind the restaurant.

Nach dem Mittagessen am Buffet drehte sich mein Magen um. Ständig stoß mir das Fritösenfett auf! Die Ente bestand nur aus fettige Fetzen, schmeckte wie aufgewärmt. Viele Speisen nur lauwarm, das Rindfleisch vom Grill nur Zäh! Für den Preis, schlechte Qualität. Die Bestuhlung im Speisesaal ist auch total abgenutzt! Wenn das dort schon so aussieht, möchte ich nicht in die Küche sehen!

So now it's time to renew the post: The whole thing has now absolutely changed for the better. The food on offer is worlds better than my old review. You now get what you are used to from other buffet restaurants. The quality is okay. Of course, you shouldn't expect high-class food. I particularly like the freshly prepared things on the grill. I, on the other hand, cannot understand the positive reviews. I was there yesterday for the first and definitely the last time. The selection at the buffet of ready-made dishes consisted of 95% spicy. If you don't like that, you're out of luck. I eat it, but many others don't. Chicken and duck were okay, but not the sauces with them. Sweet/sour = I know the taste to be completely different, the Peking sauce tastes like a cheap ready-made sauce with a little Chinese spice. Spring rolls, autumn rolls and wontons taste absolutely subterranean and crunchy. Soup selection also great = 2 x spicy. I was totally disappointed with the selection of fresh meat/fish for the grill and especially with the quality. Beef as tough as a shoe sole, absolutely inedible. Dan Chin Thai degenerates into a fast food joint that must have seriously deteriorated in the quality of the food. A friend confirmed this to me today.

The food is really tasty and there is a good variety. But several times there were rotten crayfish with a strong smell of rotten meat. The atmosphere is good, but all clothes and hair after visiting strongly smell of fried oil and food. The staff is quite attentive.

We actually always take the buffet. The selection of food is very good and, above all, it tastes good. Service is excellent.

Unfortunately it has deteriorated, from the service to the food. The quality was sometimes higher there, for a quick meal it's okay. But it's no longer anything special.

If you're very hungry, you'll really get your money's worth here. Otherwise, I think the price for the evening buffet is quite high.

Wir haben hier Abendbuffett gegessen und waren von der herzlichen Begrüßung , dem Service und der riesigen Auswahl und der frische der angebotenen Lebensmittel begeistert. Der Lebertopf hat mich persönlich begeistert. Auch das Nachttischbuffett ein Traum. In der Vielfalt kenne ich das von anderen chin Thai Restaurants nicht. Ich kann diese Örtlichkeit nur wärmstens empfehlen.

I liked everything. About 20 euros per person. There were four of us. I saw that people put a lot on their plates and could not sit down. I thought then that it would be logical to charge extra money for the fact that the visitor did not sit down. I think this would be correct.

Unfortunately, quality has noticeably deteriorated. We won't be going there anymore for that reason.

In my opinion, an important location near the train station: If you arrive by train between 10 p.m. and 11 p.m. or come from the city center at this time, you can still stop here: There are many different types of tea and non-alcoholic drinks and also a large selection of beers and wines. The choice of food is also very good: small dishes, large menus, the evening buffet and the lunch menu for price-conscious people! The fact that the large dining room exudes a bit of a “hall atmosphere” and the view from the window front onto Hanauer Straße is not particularly attractive is only a small point of criticism. I find it unfortunate that the staff sometimes seem stressed and are too fast. The staff could be nicer overall.

We ate from the buffet. It was very versatile - everything you wanted was there and was always refilled very quickly. The service was very friendly, but often overwhelmed when ordering drinks. The restaurant is nice and bright. A group of us sat a little higher up and behind glass...unfortunately there was no fresh air.

Great asian food for a good price.

Food average, unfortunately there was something that was spoiled or had viruses. We guess it was the fish and/or crab. My mother and I felt sick after eating it. My mother got diarrhea, but I had a strong feeling of pressure in my stomach. Two days later, both of us got a sore throat and a cold as an aftereffect or combination with this stomach/intestinal thing. Had no contact with anyone before or after visiting the restaurant. We're never going there again. The waitress is not interested in the well-being of their guests. In addition to the pressure in my stomach, I also had poor circulation in the restaurant on the day in question. That was from the pressure in my stomach - it affected my circulation. I had to burp quite often. And I sent my husband to the counter to get me a glass of water and some extra salt. Nobody from the restaurant asked or was interested in how I was doing. This is absolutely bad behavior. It doesn't work at all.

My husband and I were in this restaurant and we were told that the buffet was only for two hours and then we had to pay 15 € for each plate. When they began to ask them why such an attitude, we were told that this was a new decree from the boss and in the end they kicked us out and said that we were no longer invited there, that she was the boss and other people could sit as long as they wanted, but we were no longer invited (( U We were left with an unpleasant aftertaste after such an attitude. My rating is 1.

I always order take away, every time the prices are different for the same dish. I ordered soup to take away, it was a joke, it was a small bowl and it was just ridiculous. I complained on the phone, but they don't care. Because of your behavior you lose your customers. Won't go there anymore! Simply no insight and then unfriendly.

I can recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants to eat really good Chinese food! I am thrilled by the variety at the buffet. You don't even know where to start. Everything is fresh, hot and incredibly delicious. Dessert must also be mentioned! Soft ice cream machine, chocolate fountain, fresh fruit, etc. Since I unfortunately have to walk on crutches, I can say that everything at the buffet is easily accessible even for the severely disabled. The staff is super friendly and helpful. We drive 45 minutes to the restaurant. For us it's definitely worth the trip! Clear recommendation!

Chin-Thai is the best Chinese restaurant in Germany! If you want to eat authentic Chinese food, you have to visit this restaurant. The food is incredibly varied and delicious. The price is unbeatably low and has hardly changed so far. The staff is very friendly and quick. Everything is very clean and modern. The best thing is when it's your birthday when you hear a nice birthday song, the staff congratulates you and you get a free dessert!! At Chin Thai you feel like you are at home in a big family. Star chefs regularly dine here to share this taste experience. Always my pleasure.

Unfortunately, I have to say that Chin-Thai has become very bad. We had dinner there on Tuesday evening and were more than just disappointed. The spring rolls, crispy chicken, and other actually warm starters were only lukewarm to cold. Anyone who has ever eaten cold spring rolls knows how deliciously greasy they taste. I told the waiter right away with the starter that many of the dishes were too cold. She wanted to take a look! Unfortunately, the lukewarm food spread across all dishes. In between, the waitress came back and said the buffet probably needed to be replaced because of the temperature. But that didn't happen! When paying we asked for a discount for the non-hot food. The waitress went to ask the manager. Unfortunately we had to pay the full €22.80 per person because we could have switched from the buffet to the menu. But what no one told us was the job of the waitress. That was the last time this store saw us.

No idea what kind of taste people have and still rate it well? Food no matter what was cold, duck was like leather, the service lady was unfriendly, I'll avoid this shop. Calculated the bill with the cell phone 🤨

“Quantity instead of class” seems to be the motto in Chin-Thai. Real all-inclusive is still celebrated here - albeit at a high price of 23 euros per person and that without drinks. The dishes from the buffet actually all taste more or less the same, and there's no shortage of oil - at least that way everything shines nicely. Conclusion: Less would be more. At least for the guest. It is certainly a lucrative business for the operator.

I loved the all you can eat buffet before the addition was added several years ago. And I still enjoy coming here in small and large groups, the offering is simply great. Service is always friendly. Food is fresh, even on more stressful days there is never a lack of something at the buffet. The Mongolian grill is a great addition and great for being able to put together something of your own according to your individual wishes. Please keep it up 👏🏽👏🏽

It is of course one of those restaurants where there is an "all you can eat" buffet. Reasonable prices (you can also earn something from the drinks) in relation to what people can consume there. When it's relatively empty, like on our last visit, all is well with the world. But if the hut is full, then - as expected - the battle at the buffet rages on. There are very friendly staff there. That was almost enough to give it a fourth star

I come here once a week to eat, I don't drink carbonated mineral water, I also never drink all the water here. So I decided to eat and not drink water, but she was very unprofessional when she gave a hint to the guests , what is allowed and what is not allowed in the restaurant regulations. It was so stupid that I didn't order water in the restaurant, but the only one at my table had the house rules. The employee was terrible but still acted like she was friendly.

Very friendly and professional personal. We had the evening buffet, there was something for every taste. The sushi was nice, and a small variation of choices. The Mongolian Grill has many types of meat and vegetables, that with please almost everyone. For the dessert fans, there is a chocolate fountain and fresh fruit to have fun with, ice cream and many more. I will return here next time

Mir hat es super geschmeckt........sie waren wirklich sehr zuvorkommend......... Es ist erschwinglich...............

Wo fange ich am besten an. Als erstes nam ich mir einen Teller, schmutzig. Ich nam mir einen weiteren... Dann der erste Gang, alles so gut wie Kalt und das obwohl sie gerade erst geöffnet hatten, Beim 2ten Gang wieder schmutzige Teller, andere Speisen ausgewählt und wieder so gut wie kalt. Meiner Frau erging es vor 4 Wochen gemeinsam mit einer Freundin schon einmal so und wie wollten dem Lokal eine weitere Chance geben aber für uns war es heute das letzte mal.

Sehr gutes Essen. Sehr viel Auswahl. Preis Leistung gut. Schnelle Bedienung. Gut organisiert. Platz reservieren von Vorteil. Restaurant sehr groß deshalb laut und nicht soooo romantisch. Plätze/ Stühle bequem.

Angenehm Überrascht von der Qualität des Buffets. Sehr schmackhafte Speisen. Sehr guter Service.

War heute das erste mal im Restaurant, habe Ente bestellt zum mitnehmen und muss sagen sie war zart 👍👍👍

Dorthin gehen wir nicht mehr. Zweimal es probiert. Einmal während der Woche, einmal am Wochenende einige Zeit später. Immer wieder waren wir enttäuscht. Auswahl ist auch Abends eher bescheiden. Geschmack war bei viele Gerichten fade. Sauberkeit ist nicht gegeben. Boden, Tisch, Büffet. Egal wo. Personal oft unfreundlich. Idealerweise wird man vergessen. Aber was solls. Habe keine Bilder gemacht, lohnt nicht. Definitiv keine Empfehlung. Gibt deutlich bessere Asiaten.

Wie auch immer, sehr freundlich und kompetent. Egal wann du kommst und wie voll da ist, wird immer ein Platz für dich gefunden. Es schmeckt lecker und frisch. Jeder findet sich was ihm schmeckt. Ich komme gerne wieder! Heute ist 31.12.2023, SILVESTER!!!!! HIER GIEBT ES WIEDER GROßE FEUERWERK!!!! Alles wie früher, vor Corona!!!! Ich komme immer wieder!!!! Danke das ihr gibt!

Nette Personal und gutes Essen 👌

We came here for a birthday celebration on 29 December for a table of 7. The food was average and the service was absolutely terrible. We requested a happy birthday song to be played again which was refused. We were also given a list of rules and penalties that would be enforced should we not eat all of the buffet food, how much we would have to pay if we didn’t order drinks etc. We were very disappointed with the experience and it felt very dictatorial in approach by the waiters and staff.

Ich war schon öfters dort , auch an Feiertagen - Sehr gutes Essen , viel Auswahl und die Angestellten sind sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Auch an meinem Geburtstag war ich mit meiner Familie zum Buffet - Essen = alle waren zufrieden , und es gab sogar für mich eine kleine Überraschung - nebst ein Geburtstagslied = ich war zu Tränen gerührt :)

Supergeiles Essen, supergeile Auswahl, das Personal hat mir zum Geburtstag ein Ständchen gesungen 🙌 Wir waren hier schon oft und kommen auch in Zukunft immer wieder gerne hierher, DANKE 👍

Wir hatten einen Tisch bestellt und uns sehr auf den Besuch gefreut. Wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen und sofort zu unserem Tisch begleitet. Die Bedienung war flink und aufmerksam. Wir fühlten uns sehr gut aufgehoben. Enttäuscht waren wir allesamt leider von den Speisen. Die Auswahl war wie gewohnt gut. Allerdings waren ausnahmslos bei jedem von uns die ausgewählten Speisen kühl bis kalt und kamen geschmacklich in keinster Weise an die von dem Restaurant sonst gewohnte Qualität heran. Das finden wir persönlich sehr schade und wünschen den Betreibern das sie in kürzester Zeit zu ihrer bisherigen Qualität zurückfinden.

Halt der typische "All you can eat - Chinese" Bedienung schnell und freundlich, Ambiente wie zu erwarten. Auswahl an Essen ganz OK, aber leider einiges nurnoch lauwarm/kalt, was das "Erlebnis" stark schmälert. Gehe ich mal wieder hin? Ja. Wann? Das kann dauern.

Für mich sind es immer 5 Sterne wenn Preis/Leistung stimmt. Das ist auf jeden Fall so. Man kann natürlich immer und überall was kritisieren, muss man aber nicht. Man kann auch alles an einem Haar im Essen festmachen, sowie einer der Kritiker hier, ist jedoch absoluter Blödsinn. Ich finde es ist ein geiles Buffet, zu einem vernünftigen Preis mit einem sehr netten und aufmerksamen Service.

Mongolischer Grill ist Super,leider Stand nicht dabei,was es für Fleisch oder Fisch ist. Schade.
