Today we were there again and enjoyed the lunch buffet. Large selection. Price-performance ratio fits. Sometimes the food at the buffet could be a little warmer. Reservation is recommended.

As always hot and delicious 😋 plenty of options, and a super great family friendly restaurant.

The food and the buffet were extensive. The service was very courteous, they always checked whether there was enough to drink. Requests were made regularly and cleared very quickly. The cleanliness was excellent – ​​even in the toilets, that has to be mentioned. If you had any questions, for example about the food or drinks, you were helped in a friendly and competent manner. Despite the fact that there was a lot going on that evening, we were able to have a good conversation. It wasn't overly loud, which created a pleasant atmosphere. There was no crowd at the buffet, so you could choose in peace. A completely successful visit!

We often eat out here, the food is always delicious and thanks to the buffet format everyone can always find something they like to eat. The play area with television makes longer stays relaxing even with children. My three also love feeding Lois at the end 😊 to be on the safe side you should definitely reserve a table!

But if you really want to eat good Chinese or Asian food, then you don't eat bulk, but go to a delicious restaurant where a chef freshly prepares an individual dish. The sushi here is... Ok... No comparison with a good sushi restaurant, the Mongolian part is... Ok, no comparison with a really good chef, and the general dishes are buffet. Kept warm and sauce-heavy. But still the best around and if I'm in the mood for something like that, it's always ok.

We were there with a larger group for the buffet and were accommodated in a room at the back. It was pleasantly quiet here. Food top Service makes a lot of effort, but due to the division of the seating areas you are not always in sight and you feel like you are forgetting something if you are not sitting in sight. The fish everywhere are great! The seating is too narrow for me personally.

Very busy in the evenings, especially on weekends. Some dishes at the all you can eat buffet were only lukewarm even though they were brought fresh. You can also put together a grill plate for frying. We sometimes waited in vain for it to be brought to us. By then the food had already gotten cold. We were there with children and were also asked how old the children were, as from the age of 13 the full price applies as for an adult. Apparently I made a promise at the beginning. When it came to paying, the waiter didn't want to believe that my son wasn't 13 yet and changed the adult price. Unless the child can identify themselves. It's clear that that didn't work. Luckily, my wife had taken a photo of his student ID card. Only then did he see it. Other people at the table also noticed this rather embarrassing behavior. This embarrassing behavior, service and quality will definitely prevent us from visiting this restaurant again.

We recently visited the Monday Buffet, attracted by the tempting offer of “as much food as you want” at a great price. But unfortunately our anticipation was quickly dampened. First of all, it is disappointing that a lot of flavor enhancers are obviously used in the preparation of the food. This significantly affected the quality of the food. You also have to dig deep into your pockets for the drinks - 3.80 euros for a mini Cola and 4.50 euros for a 0.5 liter bottle of Gerolsteiner are simply extortionate! The highlight, however, was when we took fried noodles at the end. The price of 13.80 euros was not justified, especially since there was no fresh chicken, just peeled leftovers, and the noodles were so greasy that the oil literally ran down. You really can't find that inviting! After my long time in Asia, I can say that the food here just can't keep up. The handling of drink orders has also become outdated - there is no classic drinks menu, everything is done via an app. What's that supposed to mean? All in all, we can only say that we would rather go to Bessing next time. It would be desirable if fewer additives were used and the quality of the food was increased. What a shame for the chance to offer a good buffet here!

I'm really disgusted and disappointed that many restaurants/restaurateurs don't work cleanly or that there is a lack of hygiene, even though you already pay so much money to go to a restaurant. The service is always friendly and as quick as possible, which is remarkable considering the size of the restaurant. What really bothered us on our last visit were the dogs that some visitors had brought into the restaurant. I didn't know that this was even allowed, especially in a buffet restaurant. A dog was constantly barking at the next table, which, in addition to the general noise level in such a large restaurant, was more than exhausting and spoiled our visit a bit.

The best restaurant in Giessen and surrounding areas, when you finish all the dishes you have to pay to finish them, usually you can't find anything like this anywhere and the chef is always polite. We ordered the menu A1 (lucky for 2 people) for lunch. Unfortunately what you get is not as described e.g. the shrimps are only 2 pieces on this plate as a decoration...ridiculous. Beef meat is a bit dry and you have to swallow it half chewed. It says glass noodles on the menu, but you get it with rice!! Unfortunately, in the end we are disappointed.

There is still a lot of room for improvement in the kitchen. I parked at a business across the street. That was problem-free since I was there on a Saturday evening. The spice is missing in dishes that are described as spicy; used to be much, much better. Adding more seasoning doesn't taste the same as if it were really spicy to begin with. It's a shame that the seasoning is based on the "German" version and then these dishes still don't work.
