Ristorante Calabrisella is an absolute insider tip! From the moment you enter, you feel like you're in Italy – a warm welcome, cozy decor, and full of Mediterranean atmosphere. The food was fantastic. The service was attentive, friendly, and authentically Italian – you can tell the passion that goes into the cooking and work here. We'll definitely be back and can recommend Calabrisella to anyone who wants to enjoy authentic Italian food in a relaxed atmosphere. The waitresses are also very nice.

We were there at 1:20 PM, "The kitchen is closed!" and left. I can't rate the quality.

Finally, an Italian restaurant that deserves 5 stars. I'm happy to travel 60km for that.

I've been a regular customer at my "Cala" for 30 years and have NEVER been disappointed. Best pizzeria I know... And even though I now live over 60km away, I still come here at least once a month...

My favorite Italian restaurant in Linden for years. Whether it's dining out or a family or company celebration, the food, service, and value for money are all excellent!

The food is always very good. Service and ambiance are good. Sometimes it takes a little longer for the food to arrive, and it can be quite loud when it's busy.

On Sunday evening we ordered our food and were really looking forward to the meal together. We were told the delivery should arrive in about 45 minutes. But after 1.5 hours we called again to ask. We were assured that the delivery vehicle was already on the way. After a total of 2.25 hours had passed, we called again and were met with the disappointing comment that there was no order recorded for our address at all. The gentleman on the phone was also extremely unfriendly and unhelpful. We are deeply disappointed. Unfortunately, we have often had to endure longer waiting times at Callabrisella, but this experience surpasses everything.

Food is delicious and served warm 😊 very nice staff. It's worth making a reservation. Prices reasonable. You can pay in cash and by card. Parking is available but is often full as it is shared with a gym.

We go to Polch once a year for line dancing and always eat there. We always enjoy coming back 😊

Yesterday's visit left a disappointing impression. The prices are moderate, the atmosphere is generally okay - but the service was disappointing across the board. When I politely pointed out that the lasagne was served way too hot, the waitress responded with disrespectful comments: “Next time we’ll put ice cubes on it,” “unfortunately this feedback is completely irrelevant,” and “we don’t measure temperatures, that’s not affordable.” Such a reaction to constructive criticism clearly shows a lack of service awareness. I have never experienced such treatment. Fortunately, treating guests with respect is a given in other restaurants. We will not visit this restaurant again.

The food is ok. But you can eat well. Points deducted for the drinks Pepsi is not a tasty cola and is not worth the price in the restaurant. The restaurant is a bit cramped and difficult for wheelchairs and walkers. The waiter seems to be the boss. A little stressed, the friendliness and warmth falls by the wayside. A little tip: Be sure to reserve a table on Sundays. But the food is quick, the service is also on point, which is good.

So I had a pizza mama so spicy, Unfortunately the pepperoni sausage was not spicy at all and was buried under fatty vegetables. I was told that the vegetables were marinated in oil and the pizza was too spicy, what a statement. The vegetables were soaked in sunflower oil, what an Italian does something like that, if he did something like that in Italy he would be flown out of Italy. And what's more, these are frozen pizzas - the dough is not airy and loose. And the schnitzel also came out of the chest. Ready-made dishes can be prepared better.

We were there for the first time yesterday and I had a very tasty gluten-free pinsa!!! Thank you for the very nice evening - we will be back soon.

It's always beautiful here. The food is very tasty and visually appealing. The service was “really friendly”. Price/performance fits. You feel comfortable here.

Edit: Our last visit was extremely disappointing. I had specially reserved a table online to make sure that we would definitely have a nice place that evening. It was our wedding anniversary. Apparently the reservation didn't work even though I received a confirmation. The waiter was very unfriendly from the start. We should have made a reservation, we were told - to which I told him I had done so, online on the restaurant's own website. The outrageous answer: "You shouldn't do that here, reserve online!" I have no idea what he was trying to tell me. Except that I understood him to mean that it's my own fault if the restaurant offers online reservations but can't seem to get the hang of it. Channel to take care of. After that it continued. We were placed “outside,” which we didn’t want. It was a bit fresh. “Outside” was a narrow strip between the hedge and the wide open doors of the winter garden. Since there were no seat cushions in our place, but there were on all the chairs at the many free tables inside, we dared to put two cushions away and put them on the cold chairs. These were literally pulled out from under us by the waiter. Since my mood was in an extreme decline from this point onwards, we decided to go and not let our wedding day be ruined. Was a very good decision. The price-performance ratio is right here. The food is delicious. The service was very friendly.

The quality of the food is very good, the ambiance is nice, but the service is abysmal. That was the last time we visited the restaurant. We had reserved a table for a birthday dinner and requested that the setting be appropriately set for the birthday. This didn't happen. But that was the least of our problems. Apart from that, we have rarely felt as unwelcome as we did that evening. We had to make ourselves known to order. We paid at the counter because the waiter didn't think it necessary to check whether we wanted anything else, etc. More than regrettable. Since I travel a lot for work, I can say I have rarely encountered such poor service.

The pizza has always been good! I've never ordered anything other than lasagna there. The quality of the lasagna varies, but it's always been okay.

Unfriendly staff when picking up the order. The pizza Parma is almost inedible because it's extremely salty. The dough alone is salty, and the ham does the rest. This definitely needs to change. After half the pizza, my mouth was burning from all the salt, and I had to leave the pizza. Addendum December 2024: A leaf salad with nothing significant added for almost €17 is simply unjustified and cheeky. For me, it was the last time I'd have Calabrisella.

Visited the Pizzeria Calabrisella by chance and immediately fell in love! I had the Tortelonie Nero with salmon, a dish from the monthly changing recommendations. And I have to say, I haven't eaten so well in a long time. It was super delicious! My girlfriend had a pizza and also said she hadn't eaten such a good pizza in a long time! The Tartufo rounded off the perfect evening. But the service was also just great. I immediately felt at home and was able to have great conversations with the owners. Price-performance was also great! Thank you for the unforgettable evening! If we're ever in the area again, we'd love to come back!

I was in the restaurant today, Sunday, at 9:20 p.m. and the waiter himself said that the kitchen would be open until 9:30 p.m. After consulting with the chef, he said that he couldn't take anything anymore because the pizza oven was out. After I switched to pasta there was another cancellation, even though there were still about 10 guests in the restaurant. Bad customer service.

Always worth a visit and absolutely recommended! Whether it's lunch or dinner, it's clean, very friendly and top quality.

We were here with a larger group. Some of us had ordered Pinsa, but unfortunately almost all of them were burnt. A colleague had pasta with salmon and cream sauce, which she unfortunately didn't like, I had a salad with rocket, which unfortunately contained a lot of stalks and was pretty bitter. When we wanted to order dessert, we were immediately told that there would only be 1 tiramisu left and a few other desserts but not enough for everyone... unfortunately the service wasn't that great either, so we had to go to the front of the counter several times ourselves if we wanted something...

There are many places in the province of Wetzlar and Giessen with names such as Tiramisù, Milan, Naples pizza etc... which only have the name of Italian cities but inside you find all the races of the world except Italians. The Calabrisella restaurant in Linden is made up of 100% Italian owners and all the staff are also completely Italian. So the cuisine and all the dishes served are extremely Italian. I can only recommend to everyone who is in the area where they can eat healthy and above all Italian. Congratulations to our fellow villagers. A hug and good work

There is still real Italian cuisine here. Pizza with great dough and high-quality toppings. Nicely cross, baked and not soggy in the middle. Salad also very tasty and varied. Portion sizes are significantly above average. We had only seen the noodles on the neighboring tables and they were also sensational. The service was friendly and very quick. Price-performance ratio Absolutely top. We'd love to come back.

Unfortunately we had a fly in the food and the waiter wasn't interested in it, I pointed out to the waiter that in such a case you should at least apologize, unfortunately the waiter heard it go in one ear and out the other. The waiter didn't apologize and didn't offer any accommodation. Therefore, I absolutely cannot recommend this restaurant.

Unfortunately, the taste of the pizza changes for whatever reason, more and more often yesterday they were a complete disaster in terms of taste and so almost 25 euros for two pizzas ended up completely in the trash, which is a shame. It was a repeated lesson for me.

I will always eat the pasta with scampi in tomato cream sauce. Outstanding! The service is also very fun and pleasant. The atmosphere is great. To recommend.

We ate here for the first and last time today. When we entered the restaurant we weren't even greeted and felt like we weren't welcome. Were invited here for a birthday. We have never experienced such inattentive service in a restaurant, drinks were forgotten several times, very inattentive, very unfriendly and very full of themselves - dessert was forgotten in the end, as was a latte and two glasses - well, it wasn't asked if everything was ok and in the end there was no apology. The food was overall average - pasta was ok - pizza base was not good - too solid and tasteless. But some reviews here unfortunately confirm our impression - a shame!

Our absolute favorite Italian. We love eating there or picking up food. We and especially our daughter and our four-legged friend always feel very comfortable there. The staff is simply very friendly and even though there is always a lot going on, they are all still quick and helpful and accommodate your every wish. Heartily recommended.

Wir hatten eine wundervolle Weihnachtsfeier im Calabrisella in Linden! Die Atmosphäre war festlich und einladend, was den Abend besonders schön gestaltete. Das Essen war köstlich und die Bedienung sehr nett. Ein gelungener Abend in einem charmanten italienischen Restaurant. Sehr zu empfehlen!

Sehr schönes Ambiente und das Essen ist sehr lecker. Was auf der Karte fehlt, in meinen Augen, ist Penne in Gorgonzola Soße 😋 Aber auf Wunsch wird auch das gemacht und schmeckt sehr sehr lecker.

Dieses Ristorante Calabrisella in Großenlinden kann ich nur empfehlen, sehr schöner Wintergarten sehr schön eingerichtet sehr schöne Sitzgelegenheit. Vor allem sehr sauber. Pizza, Nudeln, Salat kann ich nur empfehlen, dort einzukehren. Vor allem sehr freundliches Personal.

Das Essen ist gut, Portionen ausreichend. Da die Pizzeria immer gut besucht ist, ist es manchmal hektisch und wuselig.

Seit etlichen Jahren unser Lieblingsitaliener. Das Essen schmeckt immer sehr gut. Wir freuen uns auf den nächsten Besuch! Favoriten: Pinsa, Pizza (vor allem Rucola Nr 2), Pasta mit Meeresfrüchten und Muscheln in Tomatensauce

Der Service lässt sehr zu wünschen übrig. Man bekommt die Speisekarte ohne Begrüßung auf den Tisch gelegt. Wir gehen ab und zu dort hin, aber dieses Mal war nicht mal die Pizza es wert dort zu essen. Werden sobald wohl nicht mehr das Restaurant besuchen.

Wir haben essen bestellt. Zum liefern. 1h wurde gesagt, nach 40 min war das Essen da. (Zwei Nudel Gerichte) Sehr heiß und super lecker! Gerne wieder

Essen bestellt, dauert 45min. Nach 90min. Nachgefragt das Essen wäre schön geliefer, was nicht stimmte! Essen sollte wieder geliefert werden aber es kam NICHTS!

Ich habe hier vor 2 Monaten 2 Pizzas gekauft und draußen gegessen. Wenn ich etwas Besonders esse oder zumindest ein Komponent des Gerichtes mich beeindruckt, vergesse ich es nicht über die Zeit. Das Gleiche ist im Fall, wenn etwas schief gelaufen ist. Bei dieser Pizza nach einer Woche wusste ich nicht, wie Sie schmeckte und das bedeutet nichts Außerordentliches aber auch nichts Schlechtes. Einziges was ich im Kopf habe, dass der Kerl im benachbarten Döner-Imbiss fast 4 EUR für alkoholfreies Weißbier von mir wollte, was ich frech fand. BofG - Wiederkommen/Empfehlungsfaktor (0-100%): 40% ich werde hier nicht wiederkommen, da die Pizza langweilig.

Das Essen war wie immer sehr lecker Pizza, Nudel und Fleisch kann man sehr empfehlen. Die Kellner und der Besitzer sind immer sehr freundlich und herzlich.

Das Calabrisella ist ein italienisches Restaurant mit ausreichend Parkplätzen, freundliches Personal sehr gut und essen in allen Bereichen. An Feiertagen und zum Teil auch unter der Woche ist es besser, einen Tisch zu reservieren, da das Lokal gut frequentiert ist. Einziger Nachteil ist, dass die Kleidung stark nach Pizzeria riecht. Während des Besuches merkt man das nicht, aber zu Hause muss die Kleidung in die Wäsche beziehungsweise auf den Balkon. Kulinarisch immer wieder zu empfehlen!
