It was our first time at CWBBQ and we loved it. The food was excellent and the service was sensational. We'll definitely be back!

The service was attentive, friendly and funny (5 stars for Sascha). Food: Ribs are served on a kind of applesauce, but that's not on the menu. The BBQ chicken came with a white, vinegary sauce, which is also not on the menu. The salads and side dishes are outrageously small for €6.5. The wine (150ml) for €8.5 was very expensive. Of course the prices are on the menu, if it's too expensive for you, you shouldn't go. But the larger side dishes and salads are really cheeky. After I complained about the taste of the gravy when paying, I wasn't charged for the side dish. The ribs and BBQ chicken tasted good. The food was good but expensive. We've had enough. But the taste was nothing special. I wouldn't go there again.

Pork ribs are very tender and good, but the marinade is too sweet, especially with the applesauce The beef brisket, on the other hand, is perfect. I can highly recommend this Ambiance doesn't invite you to linger for long. The prices are rather high but understandable for the quality of the meat

I was there last week, unfortunately there are no good reviews! The restaurant wasn't that clean, the food wasn't ok, not fresh, cold and so few portions. Quality, price, very bad! Expensive and small portion! Not recommended at all!

Hello, We were here today for a double date. Unfortunately the food was way too expensive and the food tasted too much like BBQ.

Went there 7 times because of the Veal Ribs that were on the menu and each time they weren't available. Finally take them off the menu if they don't even exist!!

The food is good, although expensive. Half a chicken with fries and two beers for €30 is quite an announcement, but it seems to be normal for Frankfurt conditions. The atmosphere is pretty cool. The waitresses could be a little more attentive, but that's okay. Bottom line, recommended.

Meat is great, unfortunately the house BBQ sauce is too sour for my taste and drowns the well-smoked meat with its intense taste. I don't need the applesauce under the ribs. The fries are ok but here, too, less seasoning would be more. The service was good, but not spectacular either. Basically recommended, as tastes are different. Spare ribs, pulled pork and fries were eaten.

Cool shop, I've been going there for years, the food always tastes great, I usually get Philly cheesesteak, brisket or BBQ ribs. And definitely order coleslaw and/or mac n cheese, both divine side dishes that taste 10/10 here. Just like the free corn soup you get at the beginning, the best soup I've ever eaten. The service and location are also great and I have nothing to complain about. One thing that has now been solved: In the past there were only these provisional soft drinks that I didn't like at all. Fortunately, on my last visit there was real cola from Colacola for the first time.

If you like it...the meat is good, but I didn't like the ambience and loud music. The eggplant tasted so smokey that it burned my throat. Ok for a smoky whiskey, but not for grilled vegetables.

The man at reception was very unfriendly and rude, so we were about to leave. Our service was very friendly. The food was very good. Without asking, we were given sauces to add seasoning to the table, which made me very happy.

Food is good, classic BBQ. But the bottom line is that nothing really special. We had. Beef tacos for starters were excellent. The service is nice, but it often came twice. We had given something to a colleague, then the second colleague came and wanted to take our order again. Chairs are quite uncomfortable for tall people. If you like BBQ without any frills, this is the place for you.

Nice ambience, unfortunately the food is just average and doesn't match the prices advertised. Service varies depending on who is looking after the table. All in all, a lot of potential that can still be exploited.

HAMMER!!!! If you're looking for traditional American barbecue, you'll definitely find it here. On our last visit we shared the meat platter for 4 people. It featured the famous pork ribs, as well as pulled pork, barbecue chicken and brisket. The meat is of excellent quality and is characterized by a wonderful smoked aroma. Plus the creamy mac & cheese as well as coleslaw, baked beans and mash & gravy. If you haven't finished it yet, you definitely have to try the NY Cheesecake if there's still room. The service always rounds off the beautiful evening. You feel welcome and are completely looked after. Always an experience and please keep it up.

A unique BBQ experience offered here. I always enjoy coming here and am never disappointed. The quality of the meat is incredibly good. The BBQ ribs just slide off the bone and the brisket is buttery tender. The service is attentive, friendly and always up for a laugh. Stable boys and girls, Not exactly cheap But definitely worth every cent. Drinks are hot and the meat melts in your mouth. And the wine list? What a great surprise it was that Tony D delivered the wines!!!

I've been visiting the Chicago Williams in Berlin for years - the same fantastic quality that I know from Berlin is offered here in Frankfurt without any compromises. The staff is friendly and the menu offers an eclectic selection of classic BBQ dishes and more. Everything in this restaurant is delicious - absolutely recommended!

The food, service and atmosphere at Chicago Williams are incredibly good. The brisket and pastrami are incredibly tender and the Philly cheesesteak is unbeatable. An absolute must for every BBQ lover!

!!!MOUSE!!! I just had dinner here with my husband because we wanted to try something new. At the beginning everything was ok but nothing earth-shattering. The food was served and we had eaten a little more than half of it when my husband asked me if there was a mouse near the kitchenette. I saw a small figure looking around and then making a beeline for the kitchen. I stood up and pointed it out to the three employees behind the kitchen counter. However, there was no reaction. Only the chef (I assume) raised his hands and gestured for me to be quiet. The waiter came and all we got in response was “That’s my pet”, “Mice have nothing to do with an unhygienic restaurant, it’s exactly the same as wasps. They would just come in.”, “That’s normal.”, “There are mice in every kitchen in Frankfurt.” The second waiter didn't even let you finish and said "Thank you for your criticism" provocatively and several times in a row. The request to bring the boss to the table was not complied with. At the checkout we confronted the boss, he said the health department was aware of the problem. “We have the doors open, they come in no matter what we do,” “The health department knows.” Complete lack of understanding. Gave us drinks on the house. At this price range, where you pay €30 for 200 grams of meat, you can expect not to see any mice. The health department will be contacted on Monday. The ignorance and comments from the employees are a disaster! Comparing mice with wasps... Never again! I would have rather been lied to about it not being a known problem with the restaurant than knowingly ripped off. The roof terrace is nice.

We thought the atmosphere was great! The service was very nice! The menu was very small and everything costs extra, whether it's a side dish to the main course or ketchup etc. The food was also really tasty! Nevertheless, we felt that the prices were excessive and that the value for money was not justified! We like to eat out often, but given the prices we get better elsewhere. A pity....

Pleasant restaurant if you want atmosphere and great service. Staff was super friendly and is international. Now if you are a fan of BBQ, forget it. You just can't get good BBQ outside of the US South. And even there, it's hit or miss depending on the style you're looking for. If you live in the area, sure, it's ok. Not, if you come from the South.

I think beef brisket is great, but price/performance well, everything else is in no way appropriate in terms of quality and prices. Service is nice but not very attentive, we weren't even given a drink menu.

Es gab wie schon oftmals zuvor keine veal ribs. Dann sollten sie einfsch von Der Karte genommen werden damit sich niemand mehr darauf freut und dann enttäuscht wird. Das Preis Leistungsverhältnis stimmt nicht mehr. Für eine einzelne Scheibe brisket 15 Euro zu verlangen ist schon schwierig, hier hab es früher such immer mal Apfelmus dazu. Das war leider nicht der Fall. Für 2 Personen mit jeweils einem hauptgang, einem Side und softdrinks dann nicht unter 70/80€ raus zu gehen ist einfach trotz guter Qualität des Fleisches nicht angemessen.

Die Karte ist etwas überschaubar, man muss schon dorthin wollen und darf nicht überrascht sein. Prinzipiell ist es aber okay!

Die Portionen waren ziemlich klein bzw. der Preis zu hoch (6 Euro für einen ziemlich kleinen Tacco). Das vegetarische Gericht (gegrillte Aubergine) war nicht gut durch gebraten, in der Karte angegebene Zutaten fehlten. Fairerweise wurde das Gericht nicht in Rechnung gestellt.

The BBQ was really delicious! The free welcome corn soup was delicious! But the service could be much better. The young lady at the reception was great, but her colleagues who served us at the table later should have been more attentive. Because there wasn't much going on in the evening, a lot of things were forgotten. Otherwise an unreserved recommendation, the BBQ doesn't taste any better in the States. The only thing I missed was the apple butter. ;) (at first the children were irritated that there were no burgers, I would have imagined something different under sandwich on your menu. But in the end it was burgers and the kids were happy)

Am gestrigen Abend war ich mit einem Freund auf der Suche nach einem Ort zum Zigarre genießen. So landeten Wir erst im Chicago Roof Bar Bereich. Dort genossen Wir eine Zigarre und gute Getränke als sich der Hunger einstellte wurden Wir höflich gebeten unten ins Diner zu gehen. Dies Taten Wir dann auch, es richtig schön verlockend nach guten Smoker Gerichten. Da Wir abermals eine Zigarre genießen wollten setzen Wir uns auf die Terrasse. Ein nahezu perfekter Service empfahl uns Getränke und Speisen. Die beiden Sandwiches Chicken und Philly waren sehr frisch und sehr gut. Am Ende des Abends muss man neben der sehr guten Qualität des Essens vor allem die Gastgeber Qualität aufzeigen, man wird wie ein Freund behandelt und gut beraten ohne genervt zu sein. Top Essen Und klasse Service Team!!!!!

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Chicago Williams BBQ in Frankfurt. Since I know the shop from Berlin, I wanted a comparison. I can safely say that eating at both locations is one of the best BBQ experiences for me so far. The ambience is relaxed, if you're hoping for a quiet atmosphere you'll be disappointed, but it's great for a convivial dinner with friends or family. The food itself is simply outstanding. The ribs were cooked to perfection - juicy and tender, with a delicious hint of smoke that testified to the careful preparation. The selection of homemade sauces is great. I particularly loved the Philly Cheesesteak Sandwich. and that the portions of the side dishes are great for sharing. The drinks menu also leaves nothing to be desired. From classic cocktails to beer, there is something for every taste. The staff was extremely friendly and attentive without being intrusive. You can tell they really value their guests. For lovers of authentic BBQ, Chicago Williams BBQ is an absolute must. I will definitely come back and highly recommend it to everyone!l

5-Stars all around! The meat is literally the juiciest, most tender and succulent I have ever tasted. The vibe is amazing, playing some of the old school hip hop we all know and love, with some cool memorabilia decorating the walls. Last but not least, customer service was top notch and everyone seemed like they genuinely were enjoying themselves working.

If you love real American barbecue, this is the place for you. Service has been significantly improved over the past 3/4 years and is great: friendly, attentive, customer-oriented. Keep it up!

Exactly what you expect when you think of BBQ. A relaxed atmosphere of good 80s - 2000s hip hop, relaxed and good-humored staff and of course super delicious meat after you lick your fingers 100% recommended!

That's the best restaurant in Frankfurt! The music and the vibe was brutal!!

I don't normally judge. But as a father of two children, I have to say that you are in the best hands here. There was immediately something to paint, and the first thing the boss did was bring our children a portion of fries and show them the roof terrace. (I think he was Croatian!) This is hospitality at the highest level!

We were really looking forward to a BBQ feast as three friends with a big appetite. Unfortunately, our expectations were not met and we were also very disappointed with the price-performance ratio (€220, 3 people). Ribs mainly bone-in, pulled pork a bit dry and the brisket very fatty. Sandwiches, sides and dessert were very good and yet it was probably the first and last visit.

We stayed at the Gekko House and booked a table in the restaurant. As soon as we arrived we were surprised with a free corn soup. We were then brought to a table. The waiter Sascha explained everything to us in great detail and also gave us great tips for ordering. The service was always attentive and friendly. We chose the Meat Platters. The food was very tasty and juicy. Good quality. Unfortunately the meat was not kept and so it quickly got cold. The dishes reminded me of camping dishes. The ambience was totally appropriate, but the music was sometimes too loud.

Sehr persönlicher, aufmerksamer Service. Das Angebot ist angenehm übersichtlich, was die Auswahl erleichtert. Die Preise sind absolut angemessen für die wirklich gute Qualität. Hervorzuheben ist natürlich die Rooftop-Bar aber auch die klasse Musik im Hintergund. Wir werden sehr gerne wiederkommen und freuen uns darauf!

Visiting for the week and staying at Gekko (upstairs). Great service, great food, and affordable prices. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a quick bite or to stick around and have drinks. Also checkout the roof top bar (level 8) of hotel. Weather permitting the views are amazing!

Overall I give it 3 1/2 stars. Interior is like a sports bar, music was more hip hop and rap, music a bit too loud and not for everyone. I can live with that well. We were greeted by a friendly waitress who was also helpful and courteous. We got a spicy corn soup for free when we arrived and it wasn't bad either. We had a mango orange spritzer to drink, very refreshing and delicious. For the main course I had spare ribs and fries and it was good, the meat was tender and went down like it was silk. Fries crispy and homemade. A buddy of mine had chicken BBQ and the fries. He thought the half chicken was mediocre, he said it wasn't seasoned well. I had a mac and cheese at the end, the cheese was good but the cheese was heavy. I think the restaurant is completely fine but the prices are steep. You have to pay extra for everything. The fries extra and the sauce extra.
