Top grill house! I ate here on Saturday evening with a large group. We ordered a meat platter for every four people. The meat was incredibly tender and well-seasoned. By the end of the evening, everyone was very happy and full. The service was excellent, even with such a large group. I highly recommend it.

Despite having a reservation, there was no table for us at first. They wanted to seat us at the bar, which I didn't want because I'm not in a pub. After a short wait, we were seated at a regular dining table. The food was okay, a small portion, but the taste was alright. It was actually a bit expensive. The male servers weren't very friendly, unfortunately. So, service was a four out of ten. The female server, on the other hand, was very friendly and attentive. The atmosphere is pleasant! As an American myself, the food didn't blow me away. It's definitely better than what you'd find at an American diner.

The food was delicious, and despite the long wait, it was all worth it. The result was truly fantastic. Nima was also kind enough to put a candle on the chocolate mousse for my birthday.

The Full Experience Plate is unfortunately a disappointment; €45 for this portion is underwhelming. The description promises much more. A 0.33 liter beer for €5 is okay...

The food would have been good if it hadn't been cold. Another platter we ordered also arrived cold. The cocktails consisted mainly of ice cubes. The wine was okay because it was served from a bottle. The ambiance was fine, and the staff was friendly.

The price-performance ratio is unacceptable in my opinion; we paid over €50 per person and weren't satisfied. The menu is misleading regarding the platters. The service was friendly but didn't respond to our complaints. Overall, I wouldn't recommend it.

I chose this place as a birthday dinner for my bf who loves meat. Forr 100 Euro we had a huge variety of meats, sides and a drink each. I think it was good value for money.

Ok restaurant inside the Gekko hotel.

Unfortunately, a disappointing visit. The server forgot both our food and drinks. For a BBQ place that advertises "freshly prepared meat," the result was underwhelming: cheap frozen meat, sauces that didn't go together at all, and mac and cheese that was clearly from a package. Overall, more of a hipster spot than a real BBQ place. Maybe okay if you just want a drink – but anyone hoping for good, honest BBQ will be disappointed. It's all just frozen meat drenched in mustard sauce.

The service and the main course were really great. The side dishes, like fries or mac and cheese, were pretty awful. I paid about €9 for a mineral water with a shot of bar syrup, because they called it a non-alcoholic cocktail, and it came in a tiny 0.2-liter glass. The "no split bills" policy per table is outrageous, and if I had insisted, I wouldn't have received a tip. So, it's better to just order a good main course via Uber Eats; everything else is either a rip-off or of poor quality.

We spontaneously decided to eat at Chicago Williams today. We easily got a good table and were warmly welcomed and given an introduction to the restaurant. The service was very friendly and efficient. Thanks again for the tip about the mac and cheese. We would have totally overdone it! 😅 The food was absolutely delicious, from the tasty corn soup as an appetizer to the sandwich and fries. Thank you so much for a lovely evening. Nice brasserie with good food and bières. The ribs were well done, very soft and tender meat

Food was cold and mediocre at best, service was okay but not outstanding, as was the ambiance.

The food tastes good. However, my ribs were only lukewarm when they arrived. They were sitting on a piece of paper, which then soaked through and somehow stuck to the meat. When the replacement arrived, my fries were cold. No apology, no extra charge. Fries for €6.50 and then another €1.50 for a small portion of ketchup—to be honest, I find that outrageous. There were four of us, and we had to go to the cashier to pay. A separate bill wasn't possible.

After Berlin, we also visited Frankfurt...great...to start, everyone gets a sweet and spicy corn and jalapeño soup at the entrance...and what's then served from the smoker is particularly popular with original US guests. Wednesday's brisket burnt ends...what did they say? Awesome!

Side here, October 17, 2025, table 8/06 at around 6:15 p.m. We were there for the first time today based on a recommendation. The service was good, but they initially came a bit too quickly to the table, so there was barely time to read the menu. I swapped the meat platter and the chicken for brisket for an additional charge. In the end, I had to pay for the platter twice, at €29 each. Why? But it was only delivered once! Apparently, the price is per person instead of per platter, which isn't clear. When you pay, it's a real shock. In my personal opinion, it's exorbitantly expensive at €65 with brisket. Price/performance ratio = poor. I wouldn't recommend it, a real shame. Even after clarifying the issue in person.

Great restaurant. Something different. The ambiance is fantastic, the staff is incredibly friendly and efficient, and the food was truly delicious. It's quite expensive, especially the drinks. But since it's a special experience, it's worth it 😉.

Four of us were here last night and ordered the meat platter – absolutely delicious! Everything was super tender and perfectly seasoned. The homemade lemonade is absolutely amazing, totally refreshing and not too sweet. The staff was consistently friendly and attentive; you feel really comfortable here. For me, this is clearly the best American diner in Frankfurt – we'll definitely be back! 🍔🥩🍟🍹

I really liked the free corn soup. They would have liked to have served some salad with it. The prices are on the high side, but it's worth it because it's so delicious.

The tartar and brisket were delicious. The chicken, however, was too dry and flavorless, and the ribs were so drenched in sauce that you couldn't taste anything else. The price/performance ratio isn't right here.

Delicious!! The meat melts in your mouth 🤤 I came craving meat and it was delicious! The service is very warm and when you walk in they give you a delicious courtesy.

Honestly, I'd reserve a thimble for a drink... They serve a 0.25 liter of Coca-Cola with the salty food, which I find unacceptable and a rip-off... No one tells me that this quenches the thirst of the salty food... Why don't you offer refills?

ABSOLUTE RUDENESS – STAY AWAY!!! Chicago Williams BBQ is the biggest rip-off I've ever experienced. We ordered a platter for 5 people (5 x €45 = €225!!) and were completely ripped off. • They promised 500g of brisket – what they delivered was maybe 300g, if that. • Instead of 2.5 half chickens, they only got 2 – and dry, no less. • When we asked about it, they gave the cheap excuse that the missing portion had been "made up" with pulled pork. That's not an explanation, but a pathetic white lie at the moment. The menu listed 5 x 150g of pulled pork anyway, and there was very little on the platter – nothing was added, they just blatantly lied. And when we complained? They brushed us off with the line "everything is weighed." Bullshit! I do BBQ myself, so I know what quantities of meat look like – and this was clearly cheating. Even worse: In most dishes, the meat flavor doesn't even come through because everything was simply drowned in barbecue sauce. Probably to disguise the mini portions. We put €290 on the table, no one was satisfied – in the end, all we were left with was the feeling of being ripped off. ATTENTION: After two hours, severe stomach pains and diarrhea set in. My conclusion: Save yourself time, money, and stress – you'll be ripped off, lied to, disappointed, and in the worst case, even sick!

Disappointing Experience Be careful with their platter pricing. The menu lists €45 for the meat platter and €29 for the regular, but that’s per person—something the waiter never clarified. My friend and I shared a “regular” platter assuming €29 total, only to be charged €29 each. For that price, the portion was small and the meat lacked flavor, definitely not worth the price. (See attached food photo & tell me if that portion is worthy 58€) The restaurant itself is outdated and nothing like the stylish photos online. We also went for the advertised Chicago rooftop but called ahead, and were not told it’s been closed for a month (if it even exists). Until when we reached at the restaurant that’s when they said it’s closed. Overpriced, food lack flavor, misleading communication, and a dull atmosphere. I wouldn’t recommend even to my worst enemy.

We had the best pastrami Reuben sandwich of our lives here. Even the welcoming corn soup was delicious – the spiciness and creaminess were perfectly balanced. The brisket was also excellent, and the portion of coleslaw was significantly more generous than at other restaurants. We would especially like to emphasize the friendliness and hospitality of the entire team – truly remarkable! We have firmly resolved to return every month from now on. Today I visited the Chicago Williams in Frankfurt. First, the positive: the service was truly outstanding – attentive, friendly, and very professional. But the food quickly became a disappointment. We didn't order any pork, but both the beef and chicken were disappointing in terms of quality and taste. The side dishes didn't balance things out either; they seemed rather uninspired and unrefined. For a restaurant that prides itself on American BBQ, this is disappointing – the food clearly falls short of expectations. The attentive staff, unfortunately, can't redeem the poor culinary performance.

Mega place! The food was fantastic. All the meats were cooked to perfection. Superbly seasoned and tender as butter. The mac and cheese was also very tasty, even though I'm not a big cheese fan. Yes, the chairs look like they're from a classroom, and yes, there are no beer glasses, but hey, I'm at a BBQ... I don't expect stars, just delicious food. And the fact that there's only paper towels on the table is a perfect solution. A napkin wouldn't have helped me eat the spare ribs anyway. I highly recommend this place. After the welcome corn soup, we shared a selection of different meat dishes with sides. The quality and taste of everything was excellent. It's a shame that it cooled so quickly on the platter. Service was fast, friendly, and attentive.

My first visit was rather spontaneous and by chance, around 10:30 PM when the kitchen was closing. It was definitely worth it. The service was extremely friendly and gave me the last-minute opportunity to enjoy what are probably the best spare ribs in Frankfurt and the surrounding area. The tender, superbly smoked and seasoned ribs—here, high-quality baby back ribs from young pigs—are incredibly addictive. The side dishes, such as the mac and cheese and the cucumber salad, were equally unique and high-quality. Food 9.5 / 10 Service 10 / 10 Atmosphere 9.2 / 10 Overall, it gets a well-deserved 9.6 / 10. It's a bit offensive when the service suggests that a group can only order the mixed meat platter for everyone... Not against the rustic ambiance and the friendly atmosphere, but that was a bit too much. Vegetarian? A lukewarm pointed cabbage with a delicious sauce without a side dish. That's not a main course... So, eat it right or not at all.

I was there this evening with my partner and my best friend. We men had the Full Experience Platter with sides of mac and cheese, baked beans and French fries and the Chinese cucumber. My partner had the smoked turkey with cheese sandwich. It came with lemon lemonade. We received a very friendly welcome. We had our drinks in less than 2 minutes. Once we had ordered our food, it took less than 15 minutes and our food arrived. It was divine. Everything was super juicy and well prepared. If you want to eat good BBQ, I would definitely recommend it. If I could give it more than 5 stars, I would. I would go back anytime.

Pretty good food. I think overall my group was pretty happy with everything. Service was not the best but also not the worst. I think the main reason for 4 stars is that they would not give us tap water. We didn’t want to buy a bottle of still water. The waiter we gave our order to acted weird about it and then someone else brought our drinks and was like we don’t give tap water I almost got fired one time for doing that. So that was very odd.

Six of us had dinner at Chicago Williams today, the ambience and furnishings of the restaurant are very appealing and original.. we were given a look into the kitchen and the smoker when we asked 💨 BBQ and smoking is certainly one of the more demanding ways of cooking and the BBQ platter for 6 people (approx. 180€) was well filled, but still a bit expensive.. everything tasted good 👌 For around 50-60€ per person, a slightly more expensive but successful evening.

Very disappointing. It started off by us having to do a world trip to find a parking spot, far enough to do a full hike. The restaurant itself was pretty easy to find and the staff were very welcoming. We had to wait a long time for food that was barely eatable, not to mention that the restaurant wasn’t even busy enough to justify the waiting time. The Philly Sandwich was mediocre at best, not much flavour behind it. Whatever sauce they put on the mash is simply criminal. The tacos? I’m pretty sure it was the cause of my food poisoning.. Meat was tough, weirdly seasoned. They were overall very greasy. In an attempt to save them by putting some lime juice on them it only added a soapy taste to the already very bad concoction. Highlight of the whole meal were some fries and a cold coca cola. Finding the restroom afterwards was like an egg hunt. At least they were relatively clean and stocked up on toilet paper. Overall, the amount of money spent for something so nasty is just unbelievable.

Very good BBQ restaurant with great service that is very attentive and quick. The mix of modern and BBQ is very successful. Pulled pork and ribs were very good, unfortunately the brisket (which I was most looking forward to) was a bit dry. At a price of 30 euros for 200 grams, unfortunately not satisfactory... nevertheless a clear recommendation!

Arrived on time with a reservation of a table and were seated right away. Place looked really good inside. Ordered 2 beers which arrived quickly. Placed an order for a shared platter. Waited for 30 minutes and no food arrived. Call waitress said 5 minutes. Waited 10 minutes no food arrived. Called manage that said that our order was misplaced or not printed and they are making now. I was expecting at least a bowl of salad until meat arrived but nothing offered from manager. 1 hour from order food arrived. The chicken was tasteless (only the outside rub had taste), turkey nothing special, the pulled pork was nice. The pork ribs were really good. The mash and gravy not so good and mac and cheese very dry because they put bread crumbs on top. We were greeted with cheesecake from manager due to the 1 hour delay in food. It should have been handle better.

The Chicago Williams is very authentic to the BBQ shops I have experienced in the USA, especially in terms of the furnishings, the menu and the open kitchen. And the service is really great, friendly and fast. We were a larger group and so we had the pleasure of trying different side dishes and main dishes. Of course it's a matter of taste here, because not everything was so tasty for me. I really liked the pulled pork or the pork ribs, but the chicken and turkey breast weren't really my thing. It's also a shame that there is only bottled beer. Next time I'll at least know what I'm ordering, so the food sharing wasn't so bad.

Mohamad, our Uber driver, delivered. Unfortunately, the food did not. Beef brisket was overcooked (?) and therefore dry, also not tender at all. Mayonnaise helped (shouldn’t have to tho). Fries were good, we loved the pickle and y’all weren’t stingy with the mayonnaise which we appreciated.

If you like your barbecue meats bone dry then you will love this place. If however you are expecting a perfectly cooked, juicy and well seasoned brisket at €150/kilo or veal ribs at €210/kilo that melt in the mouth then you will be sorely disappointed. The meats are average at best but at these prices nothing less than perfect is acceptable. It’s a hipsters paradise with lots of front but no real substance.

A BBQ experience in a class of its own! 💯 Chicago Williams is an absolute must for anyone who loves authentic American BBQ. As soon as you enter, you are gripped by the unique, hip ambience. We were welcomed with a delicious corn soup on the house. We were a larger group and had the opportunity to sample the menu. Every single course was great! The meat quality is simply top. The spare ribs, the pastrami and the “mash and gravy” were particularly impressive. Yes, the prices are a little higher, but justified given the top quality. The selection of drinks also leaves nothing to be desired. The service was attentive and friendly throughout the evening and we felt completely at home. All in all, a wonderful evening at Chicago Williams BBQ – we’ll definitely be back! Reservation recommended. For larger groups, ask for the Jägermeister table. 😉

Yeah, our first visit here ever and my first BBQ in ages (most recently Babb Brothers BBQ Dallas Texas). The food was delicious, everything was great, everything was good. I was generally just missing a snap for the ultimate food kick! Service a bit confused, but friendly and nice and on the ball! The restaurant and the associated hotel are beautifully furnished, very, very clean and soooo cozy! The prices are okay! It's not cheap, but a good BBQ costs a lot of money in the USA. And if you have no idea, please don't whine. You are not here at BK. In Germany, food was very cheap for a long time (even if the quality was never good), but that is long gone now. You have to see what eggs or sugar cost in the USA. Regardless, I really liked Chicago Williams; We would love to come back. Favorites there: Philly cheese steak sandwich and the corn soup 👍👍👍👍👍

Ordered via Uber Eats. You can expect great food, but really extremely expensive. coleshaw and and pulled pork. A pot of coleshaw, less than a coffee cup. The photos speak for themselves; We really ordered everything we wanted. 120 euros. In my opinion, price/performance is extremely excessive... Yes, shocking, really! Burger disappears under a woman's hand. Coleshaw size is espresso spoon size;ö. Price/performance not given.
