Very friendly restaurant with authentic cuisine. However, self service.

Super, super tasty and inexpensive. A manageable but varied selection of pasta, vegetarian and meat dishes. The pork belly is delicious, as is the lemon tofu. Also very tasty homemade lemonade. No service at the place or place to linger for a very long time - but not at the expense of the ambience. The shop is very lovingly furnished and emphasizes the cultural tradition. They now have a few restaurants in Munich, I particularly like this one, the staff is very friendly.

If you’re craving for asian noodles, this is the delicious pho in Munich. The taste is so good especially the pho with beef. And the spicy noodle is good too. It’s a self service, you have to order at the counter, pick up, and return the dish by yourself. However, the price is not too expensive for asia food in Munich. I recommended to add the spicy sauce into the pho noodle, much more delicious

Even though I was very hungry, the bread and meat were a bit lacking in freshness.

Woodlice in food! I've enjoyed eating here for years because you can usually get a seat quickly and I like the tofu. There was a live woodlice in my court today. I went to the front of the counter with my plate, told the staff in a friendly manner and also pointed out that it must have come from the salad, so that they could look for other animals there or swap the ingredients. My plate was briefly looked at and I was told I was getting a new dish. My new dish was brought to me without a word. To be honest, I was so perplexed that I unfortunately didn't manage to say on the spot that an apology would have been kind. A withdrawal of the bill for the court would also have been more than appropriate. It's a real shame that the staff wasn't trained for such situations.

Really tasty vegan soup bowl and Banh Mi! Wish they had more vegan starters but otherwise this is worth it! Though be careful if you get a soup to take out - their containers are leaky :/

I ordered a vegetarian bahn mi with omelet which was the seasonal offer (you could also order patê which is meat which I didn't mention and also said that I was vegetarian) it came to me meat and I trusted them and after 5 years ate meat again... I complained and instead of me getting compensation they didn't apologize but just made me a new one which had significantly less in it and the sauce (Vietnamese mayo) was missing. Otherwise The food was always great but I would definitely advise vegetarians or vegans not to try it. The service was terrible and it seemed like they didn't care

We had not a pleasant experience in this restaurant. First, the staff was not friendly and unpolite. Then, as we were eating our curry a mouse came running from the kitchen and nobody from the staff reacted to that situation. The curry was very good and tasty but I really doubt the hygiene standards of the kitchen.

I had the 20 and it was very borderline. The chicken was dry and furry at the same time. There was no good sauce, just a thin sweet and sour sauce and a very salty soy sauce. Truly one of the worst things I've ever had.

Positively surprised by the portion. Had the classic pho soup with beef. I also had the jasmine iced tea, which was not artificial and over-sweetened. It is a self-service restaurant.

Honestly a little discounted with the quality of the chicken, it tasted processed. Our food didn’t look like other versions of photos that had been previously posted. It’s street (fast food) but was still expecting a little more quality. English menu available which was thoughtful.

If I had to eat one meal for the rest of my life, it would probably be Chi Tu's tofu curry. If there's one reliable constant in life, something to look forward to all day, something to save you from hangovers, it's Chi tu! No matter which location in Munich. Been a happy customer there for over 4 years. Great food, super friendly staff, no waiting times and nowhere in Munich can you find a better curry. 5 out of 5 stars. Thanks! ❤️

Very nice and typical Vietnamese restaurant. You order at the counter and pick up the food there when you're ready. There are many typical dishes such as bao, pho, bun and banh mi for 8-15€. Everything is very tasty and not too strong. The Pho broth has a delicious taste, but could be a little stronger. There are all the extras you need. But you have to ask for them and get the sauces yourself. The beef is okay but not exceptional either. The noodles are just okay too. The chicken for the Banh Mi is very tasty and the seasoning is perfect. The beef for banh mi and bao is a little dry. The buns for banh mi and bao are very good. Overall, the bun is very tasty but the chicken is also rather dry. The lemonades are highly recommended. They are fruity and refreshing and not too sweet. Overall, I can highly recommend it because of the very good price-performance ratio. With freshly prepared meat, it would be 5⭐️.

Wonderful Asian restaurant with fresh soups and very tasty baguettes. The prices are absolutely fair and the ordering via buzzer, which vibrates at the table as soon as it is ready, is also very customer-friendly.

Disappointing. Food is quite bland and sometimes in the "Wok #123" style (...and too expensive for that). And not really authentic (just got back from a 2 week vacation in Vietnam & wanted to see where we could continue to enjoy the wonderful Vietnamese cuisine in Munich... definitely not here!) There are better alternatives, we won't be coming back here.

Nicely decorated Vietnamese restaurant. We got a banh mi (sandwich) and a lemonade for just under €13. Highly recommended and good location in the city center.

The food was OK, but nothing special.

Easily one of the worst Banh Mi out there. 2/10 would recommend (pork: the meat was nasty, the bread wasn‘t crispy, hardly any flavor…). Also, they are struggling to find your online/pick-up order even when you‘re one of the only two online orders. Knowing German or English would help.

Very good food, freshly prepared, good value for money. If you just want to eat something healthy quickly, this is the right place for you. We had the chicken curry and the hot and sour soup. Both were hot and extremely tasty.

We often go to Chi Thu for lunch and can absolutely recommend the food. No matter whether soups, glass noodle bowls or baguettes: everything is prepared super fresh and tastes very good. My favorite dish is the glass noodle bowl with spring rolls. There is also a lot on offer for vegetarians and vegans.

Good Thai food, open on Sundays when the rest of the city is closed.

It's very tasty but the portions are very meager. The shrimp summer rolls taste like nothing but coriander. The banh mi with pork belly was so far dry that you couldn't stop coughing while eating it. Wouldn't eat the summer rolls or rolls there. Maybe the other dishes are better.

I was just there and had to wait 20 minutes for my banh mi even though the shop was empty. The employees all stood around and didn't do anything and one even started singing

I think the reviewers here may be less than familiar with authentic, quality Vietnamese cuisine. I am privileged to live in the Minneapolis area which has a rich and well established Hmong community. This restaurant wouldn't last a week in our city. The pho broth is no more than glorified water. True Pho has been simmered with bones and numerous spices to garner a deep, consumee. There is no fresh basil nor spouts to add into the heated broth and thus broth wasn't warm enough to make use of them if they were available. The noodles were run of the mill in quality. There are no condiments at the table. I was chided by the cooks for trying to use their condiments. My wife did enjoy the dumplings. I did like the crispy chicken wings, as the accompanying sauce was good. This is just food. Nothing more.

The default Pho option. Approved by Vietnamese friends too. That means they serve the original taste. The toppings on the counter are a great thing, everything tastes better with chilli oil and fried onions.

Decent Vietnamese restaurant, the chicken pho is nicely done tho not the best I have had, the special vegan bun and vegan banh mi are both quite nice and filling, and the homemade lemonade was particularly good and refreshing!

It’s a self-serving place, cozy and welcoming. The dish is big size, lots of vegetables. The food was fast prepared, no need to wait for a long time, so I am still giving the service 5stars.

Great vietnamese restaurant! I sampled many of their dishes, due to my adventurous table companions, all great, but I'm still not able to get over my obsession with steamed dumpling which I order each and every time. There will come a time when I will have had enough and will be able to order something else for myself, but that time is not here yet. In my defense, the steamed dumpling is fantastic and enough for one meal. It's also nice that it is easy to find and close to the sbahn.

Affordable Vietnamese food with a great ambience. Variety of dishes are available to try out and personally the house made dishes are recommended. Ample of condiments to choose from like sauces, roasted onions, chilli oils etc. The place is filled with a mixed bag of sitting arrangements with will surely take you to either a cozy place or directly to a street food filled vibe.

The food was acceptable, not something that exceeded my expectations but acceptable. Afterwards the service was something to be desired, the tables were dirty and you had to clean them. I don't recommend it too much...

I came for the Vietnamese cuisine but I stayed for the chicken wings. The sauce was amazing...

My favorite Chi Thu location! Very comfortable atmosphere and good location. The food is very tasty, especially the noodle soups. The prices are also very cheap. I can recommend it to everyone.

The food is extremely tasty and prepared very hygienically. I went there twice and ordered Bun Bo Hue and Beef Pho. My husband took vegan banh mi twice. We were really convinced both times. The taste is very authentic, i.e. Vietnamese. The people there are really nice and friendly. The atmosphere is cozy. Top! 👍🏻

The ambience is typically Munich modern and fresh. Unfortunately, so do the prices. In my tofu dish there were small chunks of tofu and the rest of tasteless rice. The fun cost twelve euros. I'll never need it again.

I love their Bun!!! The portion is quite big and it’s very tasty and fresh, considering that this is a “fast” food restaurant. The service could be a bit better, employees are not that welcoming.

We had the #70 and a rice noodle soup. Came quite quickly, was very tasty 😊 Sauces at every table might be a suggestion for improvement, because just one bottle for the restaurant at the counter is a little too little, I think. Especially when it's full.

Nice ambience, nice plants there. We ordered different types of food and in general was Ok in our opinion. I personally think the rice dish was a bit dry, I also prefer more vegetables. The Home-Made drinks were also nice and refreshing with Ice cubes.

Leider war an den Salat kein Thai Basilikum, kein Koriander oder überhaupt eine andere Art von vietnamesischen Kräutern. Schade.

Super leckeres Essen vor allem die Bun Gerichte sind meine Favoriten. Portion ist auch sehr gut mit viel Gemüse und Kräuter.

Essen ist einfach immer lecker, Restaurant ist gemütlich. Wir kommen immer gerne her. Danke für Eure tolle Arbeit
