Honestly, I have to say this was the worst Vietnamese food I've ever eaten. I ordered Thai curry with crispy chicken. Sorry, but it had nothing to do with Thai curry. The vegetables were limp, bland, and had a very strange aftertaste. The meat was crispy because it was burnt underneath. The cashier was completely uninterested. All in all, it was very disappointing, and I wouldn't recommend anyone eat here.

I was very dissatisfied. The broth had a very unpleasant taste. The chicken was burnt, extremely greasy, and seemed to have been prepared without any care. The spring roll was also disappointing, as it tasted of practically nothing. In addition, I felt uncomfortable in the restaurant because the staff constantly spoke amongst themselves in their own language instead of paying attention to the guests. This did not create a pleasant or welcoming atmosphere. Overall, the visit was disappointing, and I would not return to this restaurant.

Really delicious food, served very quickly and fresh. You sit on plastic stools, which enhance the street food atmosphere.

The food was prepared very quickly and tasted delicious. The atmosphere is really lovely and the staff were very friendly. While the prices are relatively high, the portions are very generous and definitely worth the price. We will definitely come back and highly recommend it.

Excellent Vietnamese street food

As always, it's a matter of taste, but I think this place has one of the best Thai curries in Munich.

The banh mi was delicious, the atmosphere very relaxed, and the restrooms very clean. The food was reasonably priced.

No waiting time for the table. Ambience is cool. Plastic chairs are arranged similar to Vietnamese street food joints. Food is tasty. Will return again for sure.

I was craving for Vietnamese food so I found this restaurant by chance and it did not disappoint. They have authentic Vietnamese food. I had Bahn Mi and iced coffee. I was also amazed by their chairs 😁

Looking for authentic Vietnamese food, this should be your place. I ordered the Cari ga and bao buns with tofu. Highly recommend both.

We happened to be walking past there, and it was already busy in the afternoon. On the way back, we had dinner there. We had spring rolls, which were freshly wrapped and prepared. The chicken soup and another with crispy chicken were really good. And we had traditional tea.

It’s a nice spot, very close to Isartor. The food was good, but not memorable. The price is very good, though. For 11/12€ you get a big bowl of pho. They also have buns and sandwiches, so they might be worth a try

The restaurant has a cool street food vibe, and the self-service concept is straightforward. The food tasted okay, but rather average compared to other Vietnamese restaurants. Okay for a quick bite, but not a culinary highlight.

We had pho, summer spring roll, chicken sticky rice and ca phe sua da. The Pho flavor is not bad but not authentic (I’m a Vietnamese), fresh prawn spring rolls were simple, lack of herbs, the rest of the order was decent. The owner was very cold and slightly rude. It’s a very nice design restaurant with open kitchen, but the staff looked tense and not friendly. Self-service.

The food tastes good—I often get the vegetarian rice noodle bowl here. Last week, however, I was very disappointed because the portion felt like it was only half the usual size. I didn't notice it until I got home, otherwise I would have said something. I don't like these hidden price increases. Hence, only 3 stars.

By chance, during a short trip to Munich, we ate here. The food was delicious, the taste was very similar to Vietnamese food. The food was very diverse, from broken rice with ribs, chicken sticky rice to vermicelli dishes. The restaurant was self-service, you order food and drinks at the counter, then the staff will call when the drinks and food are ready. The bar and food preparation counter were right in front of you, so you could clearly see the process, very clean. I will come back here next time.

The best Vietnamese food I've ever tasted (I haven't been to Vietnam yet), this food makes you happy. And the prices are really fair, and it's wheelchair accessible, with wide entrances.

Very delicious food, friendly staff. They're happy to help if you're not sure what you want. You order at the cashier, and when the food is ready, the pager beeps to alert you to pick it up. When it's very busy, like it was for us, it's hard to find a seat; unfortunately, there were no tables outside, and it was a bit cramped inside. But I would definitely come back to enjoy the delicious food 😊

Heard that this place is chain. I'm not sure about the other addresses but this one we tried was not bad. The restaurant is decorated nicely and clean. Food couldn't definitely be authentic for a Vietnamese like me :). But in general, we were happy with our choices. The extra seasoning and spices were however kind of confusing. My friend is not Vietnamese and he struggled to find out what sauce to use with his noodles.

Everything was fine, except that I would have liked to have seen a photo of the food on the menu, as it was my first visit and I could only understand what to expect from the description. The food did not disappoint me at all.

The rice noodles, bun cha, and spring rolls I ordered were all delicious. The price may seem a little expensive, but it fits well with the cost of living in Germany. It seemed like a hot place where young locals kept coming in as customers. It also suits the Korean palate very well. If you can't eat cilantro, ask them to leave it out when you order.

It was incredibly delicious! I had the vegan bun chay. It was delicious and lukewarm, like a rice noodle salad. There was plenty of seating, even on a Sunday lunchtime. Service was very friendly and quick. I had the pandan iced tea, but unfortunately, it tasted like water.

Super, super tasty and inexpensive. A manageable but varied selection of pasta, vegetarian and meat dishes. The pork belly is delicious, as is the lemon tofu. Also very tasty homemade lemonade. No service at the place or place to linger for a very long time - but not at the expense of the ambience. The shop is very lovingly furnished and emphasizes the cultural tradition. They now have a few restaurants in Munich, I particularly like this one, the staff is very friendly.

If you’re craving for asian noodles, this is the delicious pho in Munich. The taste is so good especially the pho with beef. And the spicy noodle is good too. It’s a self service, you have to order at the counter, pick up, and return the dish by yourself. However, the price is not too expensive for asia food in Munich. I recommended to add the spicy sauce into the pho noodle, much more delicious

Woodlice in food! I've enjoyed eating here for years because you can usually get a seat quickly and I like the tofu. There was a live woodlice in my court today. I went to the front of the counter with my plate, told the staff in a friendly manner and also pointed out that it must have come from the salad, so that they could look for other animals there or swap the ingredients. My plate was briefly looked at and I was told I was getting a new dish. My new dish was brought to me without a word. To be honest, I was so perplexed that I unfortunately didn't manage to say on the spot that an apology would have been kind. A withdrawal of the bill for the court would also have been more than appropriate. It's a real shame that the staff wasn't trained for such situations.

Really tasty vegan soup bowl and Banh Mi! Wish they had more vegan starters but otherwise this is worth it! Though be careful if you get a soup to take out - their containers are leaky :/

I ordered a vegetarian bahn mi with omelet which was the seasonal offer (you could also order patê which is meat which I didn't mention and also said that I was vegetarian) it came to me meat and I trusted them and after 5 years ate meat again... I complained and instead of me getting compensation they didn't apologize but just made me a new one which had significantly less in it and the sauce (Vietnamese mayo) was missing. Otherwise The food was always great but I would definitely advise vegetarians or vegans not to try it. The service was terrible and it seemed like they didn't care

We had not a pleasant experience in this restaurant. First, the staff was not friendly and unpolite. Then, as we were eating our curry a mouse came running from the kitchen and nobody from the staff reacted to that situation. The curry was very good and tasty but I really doubt the hygiene standards of the kitchen.

I had the 20 and it was very borderline. The chicken was dry and furry at the same time. There was no good sauce, just a thin sweet and sour sauce and a very salty soy sauce. Truly one of the worst things I've ever had.

Positively surprised by the portion. Had the classic pho soup with beef. I also had the jasmine iced tea, which was not artificial and over-sweetened. It is a self-service restaurant.

Honestly a little discounted with the quality of the chicken, it tasted processed. Our food didn’t look like other versions of photos that had been previously posted. It’s street (fast food) but was still expecting a little more quality. English menu available which was thoughtful.

If I had to eat one meal for the rest of my life, it would probably be Chi Tu's tofu curry. If there's one reliable constant in life, something to look forward to all day, something to save you from hangovers, it's Chi tu! No matter which location in Munich. Been a happy customer there for over 4 years. Great food, super friendly staff, no waiting times and nowhere in Munich can you find a better curry. 5 out of 5 stars. Thanks! ❤️

Very nice and typical Vietnamese restaurant. You order at the counter and pick up the food there when you're ready. There are many typical dishes such as bao, pho, bun and banh mi for 8-15€. Everything is very tasty and not too strong. The Pho broth has a delicious taste, but could be a little stronger. There are all the extras you need. But you have to ask for them and get the sauces yourself. The beef is okay but not exceptional either. The noodles are just okay too. The chicken for the Banh Mi is very tasty and the seasoning is perfect. The beef for banh mi and bao is a little dry. The buns for banh mi and bao are very good. Overall, the bun is very tasty but the chicken is also rather dry. The lemonades are highly recommended. They are fruity and refreshing and not too sweet. Overall, I can highly recommend it because of the very good price-performance ratio. With freshly prepared meat, it would be 5⭐️.

Wonderful Asian restaurant with fresh soups and very tasty baguettes. The prices are absolutely fair and the ordering via buzzer, which vibrates at the table as soon as it is ready, is also very customer-friendly.

Disappointing. Food is quite bland and sometimes in the "Wok #123" style (...and too expensive for that). And not really authentic (just got back from a 2 week vacation in Vietnam & wanted to see where we could continue to enjoy the wonderful Vietnamese cuisine in Munich... definitely not here!) There are better alternatives, we won't be coming back here.

Easily one of the worst Banh Mi out there. 2/10 would recommend (pork: the meat was nasty, the bread wasn‘t crispy, hardly any flavor…). Also, they are struggling to find your online/pick-up order even when you‘re one of the only two online orders. Knowing German or English would help.

We often go to Chi Thu for lunch and can absolutely recommend the food. No matter whether soups, glass noodle bowls or baguettes: everything is prepared super fresh and tastes very good. My favorite dish is the glass noodle bowl with spring rolls. There is also a lot on offer for vegetarians and vegans.
