"chez André" in Bad Zwesten

Great restaurant with great service! The menu is regional with great tricks and the ingredients are super fresh - the dishes were beautifully prepared and tasted A1! Chef André regularly checks on his guests and makes sure that nothing is missing. Service super attentive and friendly. All in all, a fantastic addition to the Landhotel Kern and we are already looking forward to our next visit!

The Restaurant Chez Andre is a great restaurant with German-French cuisine. We've eaten there three or four times now and every time it's been absolutely delicious. The service is great, from absolutely nice employees. A visit is really worth it.

We have been to Bad Zwesten several times and have already tried out a few restaurants there. Chez André is in the Landhotel Kern, which is known for its regional character and also as a fairytale hotel. With Chez André, traditional German cuisine meets a French touch. So if you're expecting frog legs and snails, you'll be disappointed. But if you want to try delicious food, well made and interpreted with curiosity, this is the right place for you. German-French fusion cuisine!

We know that André cooks great! The ambience in the country hotel compensated us for the waiting time today! Unfortunately, the main course I ordered from the already very reduced menu was not available, but I was only informed of this after the (delayed) starter. It's a shame, after many good statements, we expected more. So it remained with a good onion soup.

A restaurant that truly makes you feel at home, with its cozy, rustic decor and ideally located for travelers right in the country hotel. The owner is a deeply personable person, and his dishes are a wonderful blend of skillful, original creations and Hessian cuisine. There's something to suit every taste and every dietary preference. Whether you're a carnivorous plant or a vegan, everyone will find something to eat and drink here. Furthermore, the restaurant is wheelchair accessible and offers ample parking nearby.

A chance visit to Chez André: a stylish country-house ambiance, friendly service, an appealing menu, and a skillful blend of Hessian specialties with a touch of France. Very successful! The vegan and veggie dishes are also excellent. Absolutely excellent value for money. Thank you for the extremely friendly and authentic service. We'll be happy to come back.

Hello André :) We don't know how God feels in France, but we felt like little Hessian gods. The classic Hessian dishes are not only reinterpreted here, but also finely rounded off with subtle nuances, like the pomegranate seeds on our Spitzbuben (spiced buns). The portions and value for money were absolutely perfect for us. Added to that is the excellent service and a very friendly owner. We've always appreciated the cozy ambiance of this country hotel. We'll be back soon and hope this gem continues to exist for a long time.
