Bürgerhof Restaurant ~ Pension in Bad Zwesten

I stayed here for an overnight stay in conjunction with a visit to the Hardtwaldklinik Bad Zwesten. I felt very comfortable in my room. We were pleasantly surprised at our first dinner in the restaurant, which is why our family also had three more dinners at the Bürgerhof during subsequent visits to the clinic. The food is prepared with dedication, the seating is comfortable and you receive friendly service. Highly recommended.

Today I was at the Bürgerhof with two friends in a pleasantly bright atmosphere: the food was great for all of us (I had sole with pan-fried vegetables and potatoes. - Highly recommended!).

I spent 4 nights in the guesthouse and was pleasantly surprised. The owners were very friendly and also fulfilled small requests. The room was functionally furnished, the bathroom was large, bright and both rooms were very clean. I felt very comfortable here and can recommend the guesthouse. Would come back if the drive from the Baltic Sea wasn't so long.

The price/performance ratio is right.

We arrived at this restaurant for a short break, to eat and drink a bit. The overall shape and cleanliness was quite good. The greatest issues were with both service and food. We arrived at 12:00, among the first costumers. We ordered a mixed salat, a hamburger and an "Apfelstrudel" (basicly a german apple pie). We wanted all of it together, as it was shared with 2 others. We have waited almost 90 minutes (!). In the same time another table of 3 had their entire meal, including salat, main course and dessert, and then left after paying before we got our food. The restaurant was also not busy, a total of 5 tables were seated in total. The food itself was edible, but not worth the wait or price. The salat had barely any dressing. The hamburger was decent enough. The apple pie was also decent. The total price was 47,50 €. Overall, we were very dissapointed, especially for the given review score. I recommend visiting one of the other restaurants in the area.

The best game I've eaten recently.

An all-round perfect restaurant. A great, not too big card. Also a nice selection for vegetarians like us. The food quality was very, very good. Everything is largely prepared fresh. A nice, attentive service. And a really extraordinary, very modern, but never annoying ambience in which you feel very, very comfortable. It doesn't get any better!

I stayed at the Bürgerhof for 4 nights. The room is spacious and comfortably furnished. The bathroom is also very spacious. I didn't miss anything at breakfast. The restaurant menu isn't too big, which for me is a sign that the food is freshly prepared. I wasn't disappointed. I was able to see the quality for myself with the Bürgerhof schnitzel and a burger. The friendly hosts always took time for a little chat. My conclusion: Absolutely recommended!!!

Small, cute guesthouse with a restaurant! Very tasty, sufficient rooms with large bathrooms, delicious breakfast - everything was available! Nice and quiet - gladly again!

The food was very good and the service also deserved the name service. The decor is rustic and everything is very clean.

Very well-kept, personally run restaurant with very good food and drinks. It's best to reserve in advance. Recommended!

I stayed there for 3 days and ate the Christmas buffet. Everything was great, super clean, spacious and I slept great! It also smelled super fresh when I came into the room, but not from any scent source that could be found, it just smelled good and subtle! I'll definitely be back! Keep it up! We happened to be in the Bad Wildungen area last Tuesday and stopped into the restaurant to have lunch. We were the only ones and therefore a bit skeptical. We ordered the Bürgerhof Schnitzel with fries and salad or other side dishes. When our food arrived we were pleasantly surprised. It looked very inviting. Everything totally freshly prepared. We were able to hear live how our schnitzel was being made. Our schnitzel was absolutely amazing and the fries, the salad and my vegetables were also a poem. We haven't eaten something so delicious in a long time. Price performance was also optimal. A big compliment to the kitchen and also to the service staff. Great service, great burgers. Just perfect

Yesterday we were guests at the Bürgerhof with 4 people and sat outside on the terrace. The service was very friendly and the food tasted excellent. Food was good. Service very friendly. The dining room just seemed too cold due to its size.

Very nice service, good food at a reasonable price, our choice: Schnitzel Pusta with super tasty fries on the skin and salad , cheese spaetzle with side salad. Nice atmosphere, looks newly renovated. Picobello clean men's and women's toilets. We were on our way home and quickly got something great for dinner.

Needs repetition! Very tasty food that is FRESHLY prepared. Plus a pleasant atmosphere and great staff. I say THANK YOU and see you next time. :-)

Wir waren am Samstag zu viert zum Essen. Leider waren wir die einzigen Gäste. Das Essen war okay.

Es war echt lecker dort tolle Bedienung waren sehr nett. Gerne wieder. Haben eine echt schöne terasse und einen schönen Saal zum feiern leider nicht viel los.

Der Burger war sehr lecker. Es wäre fast der leckerste Burger den ich jemals gegessen habe geworden. Dazu hätte er aber ein wenig mehr Soße haben müssen und das Rinderpattie hätte Medium sein können, damit es nicht so trocken wird. Aber das ist meckern auf hohen Niveau 👍

Drei Tage bei netten Gastgebern, denen man das Herzblut für ihre Arbeit anmerkt. Zimmer top sauber und groß. Essen sehr gut und Preise im Vergleich moderat. Sehr guter Ausgangspunkt für tolle Wanderungen oder um die Lieben in der Reha zu besuchen. Vielen Dank und weiter so.

Tolles Essen, nettes Ambiente - auf jeden Fall weiterzuempfehlen

Ich war kürzlich zum wiederholten Male im Bürgerhof zum Essen verabredet. Wie immer wurde ich nicht enttäuscht. Ein perfektes Flank-Steak (Wo bekommt das sonst?), zarter Spargel und leckere Kartoffeln. Auch vegetarische Gerichte finden sich immer auf der Karte.

Leckeres und frisches Essen, auch ansprechend angerichtet. Die Servicekraft war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Der äußere Eindruck lässt das nicht zwingend vermuten, aber hier würde ich definitiv wieder herkommen 🙂

Super leckeres Essen, Speisekarte wird in regelmäßigen Abständen gewechselt. Zusätzlich zur Speisekarte gibt es immer wieder Aktionen wie super leckere Bürger. Wir gehen sehr gerne zum Essen hin.

Ich habe heute hier gegessen und war erstaunt, dass ich der einzige Gast war. Ich hatte Fisch, der war einfach lecker. Also, wenn Du in der Nähe bist, geh hier rein. Es lohnt sich.

Wir mussten lange warten aufs Essen. obwohl nicht viel los war

Wir haben dort nur übernachtet. Zimmer waren sauber und geräumig. Nette Gastgeber.

Es ist Montag, nach 14 Uhr. In der Regel also eine fast völlig aussichtslose Zeit, gutes Essen zu bekommen. Und da habe ich den Bürgerhof gefunden. Ich wurde sehr freundlich empfangen. Andernorts hätte man vermutlich zu dieser Uhrzeit die Augen verdreht nach dem Motto "Was will denn jetzt der noch um die Zeit hier". Habe super leckere Gemüse Bratlinge mit Spätzle und Salat gegessen... Der Tag ist gerettet 😀. Also sehr empfehlenswert in jeder Hinsicht!!!

Ich war am 23.10. im Restaurant Bürgerhof. Das Essen war sehr lecker und der Wartezeit entsprechend! Auch die Temperatur war angenehm und man konnte in der zu der Jahreszeit tauglichen Bekleidung dort sitzen ohne zu frieren. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich! das Restaurant ist nur empfehlenswert.

Lokal sehr kalt, mussten mit Jacke am Tisch sitzen, Bedienung nicht besonders freundlich, über 1 Stunde auf das Essen gewartet, obwohl nichts los war. Das Essen war lecker, trotzdem würden wir nicht wiederkommen.

Gute Küche mit freundlicher Bedienung

Sehr netter Ort. Auf einer Wanderung auf dem Kellerwaldsteig, habe ich im Bürgerhof sehr gute Nacht verbracht. Angenehme Gastgeber, schönes großes Zimmer, tolle Dusche, leckeres Frühstück – was braucht ein Wanderer mehr? Werde versuchen, mit Freunden wiederzukommen. Übrigens, auch der Preis war verhältnismäßig günstig. Der Bürgerhof ist rundum zu empfehlen. Das Restaurant war an dem Abend geschlossen, aber es gab gute Alternativen in der Nähe, was für Wanderer ja wchtig ist.

Wir wurden mit einer großen Gruppe perfekt bewirtet. Sehr freundliche Bedienung, Essen (Buffet) top! Was will man mehr? Vielen Dank und auf ein Wiedersehen!
