I haven't eaten this well in ages :) and the service was super pleasant and great :) It's just a little chilly in the front seating area (entrance area) 😉

This place, though unassuming from the outside, is a hidden gem. Even Speedy Gonzales should stop by to enjoy this excellent food. The waitress is pleasant, smiling, and welcoming. I recommend you don't pass it by and give it a try!

A very tastefully decorated Mexican restaurant with a pleasant atmosphere. The service was very friendly and attentive. The food was absolutely delicious; we ordered quesedillas and nachos. We would definitely come back.

On my third visit today, you absolutely captivated me with your friendliness, attentiveness, care (in the service), and the absolutely delicious cuisine (the man in the kitchen knows what he's doing)! I honestly can't remember the last time I ate such fresh/good food and was served so friendly as I did today!!!!......ahh, I do remember....and that was on the last two visits to your restaurant!!! But today it was simply TOP! The starter was amazing, as expected (nacho platter), the main course was unimaginably perfect (600g roast steak, vegetables, baked potato) and the dessert (gingerbread parfait) was a dream! ....... the friendly and attentive service does the rest and puts it all on the cake, so that you always have an unforgettable experience with friends or loved ones, for which I am happy to give my time and money! Thank you so much for that!! You can probably never please everyone, but you absolutely convinced me with your great work today and won me over as a satisfied guest. If you want to experience something different than ordinary German cuisine, this is the place for you. Very delicious dishes made from homemade (!) ingredients. With an appreciation for good ingredients, the kitchen produces beautifully crafted dishes that stand out from the usual. All of this is served by very attentive and friendly service. We were unfortunately just passing through, but we found our "favorite Mexican" here. Highly recommended.

Yesterday, my friend invited me to her birthday party. The veggie burger was amazing, and so was everything else we ate at the table. You can see and taste, above all, that everything is freshly prepared.

I was traveling with a loved one in the Freiburg, Rust, Herbolzheim, and Kenzigen area and stopped by Chaco Tex Mex. What can I say: Delicious food and a super charming couple running the place.

A Mexican restaurant with excellent and fresh food. There is a nice play area for children inside the restaurant. The dishes we ate were chicken burrito and chili con carne in a bowl - wonderful!!! The dishes took quite a while to come out (to the credit of the staff who prepared us for this when we made the reservation at the restaurant) but it was still worth the wait

The 367 Burger is the best burger I've ever eaten in my life. And I've eaten a lot of burgers!!!!!! The tortilla chips are homemade and extremely good, as are the sauces. I'm from Austria and had to come to Germany to eat the best burger of my life 😅 The staff is very friendly and welcoming ❤️ The atmosphere is just as it says: TEX MEX 🌮🌯🫔

We came here after a great day at Europa park. We looked specifically for a highly rated restaurant and this place did not disappoint. You can really taste that the food is home made, and the service was lovely. Take note: you can only pay with cash, we found the closest ATM to be the Volksbank near the train station. 10/10 would come back again!

We were looking for a restaurant serving Mexican food. We wanted to eat somewhere away from Europa-Park. We received a friendly welcome and were shown a table. The service was very satisfied and always attentive. The menu was plentiful. The food was delicious, and you can tell that everything is homemade and prepared with love. The restaurant may be a bit out of the way, but it's worth a visit. We were extremely satisfied and can only recommend it. Keep up the good work.

Mexican food, always liked it. But the options that we ordered were not ad expected. The nachos were just around 6 nachos and we had to order something else for my daughter. We should have asked before how big are the portions.

We decided to eat at CHACO TEX MEX on a whim. It was delicious, and we received a very friendly welcome and good advice. It gave us a great feeling, and we will definitely eat there again soon. Thank you.

Really lovely find after a long day at Euopa Park. Restaurant was just around the corner from our hotel. Service was fantastic and the positive reviews already given were correct. Area is split into two sections with the bar on one side and restaurant on the other. Drinks arrived quickly along with the starter which was shared. Food all seemed to be homemade and tasted great. Main courses arrived promptly and again could not fault them. Be aware that it is cash only and opening times are limited but we'll worth a visit if you are in the area.

Always top-notch service, excellent food, and delicious cocktails. We come here regularly for dinner, and sometimes we also play bowling. The best pulled pork burger ever, but all the other dishes are also super delicious and top quality. Cash only.

Had an excellent Mexican meal today. Very good service too. The friendly landlady took a lot of time for us, explained the menu to us very well and was really lovely, even with our children (the kids also celebrated the food and the Vergin Kolada cocktail :) There are also great burgers! We'd love to come back and look forward to the next time!

I'm really sorry, but now it's already an active denial of service not to offer the guest payment by card. The food, the service, everything else is top. But if you simply can't eat there because you can't pay with the most common means of payment, you can't rate it.

If you like good quality and fresh food, Chaco is definitely the right place for you! No matter which restaurant we tried, even in the higher price range, a steak was never better and cooked to perfection than in Chaco! This restaurant has been around for decades. In my opinion, these individual negative reviews are a joke, especially since none of them comment on them. Maybe because there are just a few “haters” because the more popular a location becomes, the more envious people and ill-wishers there are. Sad because the ratings are not true. At Chaco, special requests are taken into account and finally a restaurant where children are welcome and where children can simply be children!!! In my opinion, service is still very important here and the boss is creative and knows his craft!

It's a really great restaurant with incredibly nice hosts. The food is delicious, the prices are great and everything is super fresh and organic! Service is always friendly and courteous, even when there is a lot going on. Ambiance: this is a former bowling alley. You can also use the bowling alley for a small fee. The rest of the restaurant is decorated in a Mexican style. All rooms are clean and tidy. Can only recommend it!

hey, We ate there today on August 13th, 2024. I called spontaneously at 7:30 p.m. to order a table for 9 p.m. because it was way too warm to eat beforehand. The opening times on Google are correct, why the good restaurant isn't open on weekends is a mystery to me, but maybe it has something to do with the shortage of skilled workers. It was our first time eating Mexican food and it was really tasty 😋. The food was really freshly prepared, the plates were preheated and the service was professional. It's a shame we're on vacation right now and can't have this more often. Our dog was also welcome and was immediately given an H2O cocktail. A successful evening for us. As others have already praised, I have to once again highlight the super nice and pretty service staff who do as much here as three waiters elsewhere. Thank you very much

By far the tastiest Mexican food in the wider Freiburg area. Everything is super fresh, regional and, above all, homemade! Really good prices. Everything clean. They are also environmentally conscious, with slow food and reusable water bottles. Super friendly service staff who fulfilled all of our special requests. Pleasant, quiet atmosphere and sweetly decorated. Cash only! Reservations are desired. We'll definitely be back. Despite a 30 minute drive! Thank you very much, it was really great!

We had the pleasure of dining at Chaco Text Mex recently and all we can say is that it was a wonderful experience! From the warm welcome to the friendly and attentive service, everything was first class. The ambience is cozy and inviting, perfect for a relaxing evening. The menu offers a great variety of dishes and every dish we tried was simply delicious. The quality of the ingredients was obviously fresh and high quality, and the presentation of the food was very appealing. The drinks menu also leaves nothing to be desired, with a nice selection of wines and cocktails. Overall, our visit was a real highlight and we are already looking forward to our next visit☺️.

We had burgers and Chesadias and the food was really, really good. I just decided to have a coleslaw with my burger. Unfortunately it was a little too salty. Otherwise the food was great. The service was very good and super friendly, the atmosphere is quite okay for a TexMex. But you have to take some time with you because it's slow food. This shouldn't be a tip. It is advertised that way.

We discovered this Mexican restaurant by chance via Google Maps as we were looking for something to eat in the area at short notice in the evening. The pictures and reviews ultimately led us here and we were not disappointed! Nice atmosphere and very tasty Mexican food, which is also beautifully prepared with attention to detail. The service is also extremely courteous and extremely friendly. :-) If we vacation in the area again, we will definitely make a trip here again. Highly recommended.

Der Chef jedoch überhaupt nicht, Anmerkungen und Verbesserungsvorschläge vor Ort wurden von ihm leider nicht ernst genommen , da bei ihm Gastfreundlichkeit und Respekt nicht vorhanden. However the waitress greeting us was Nice and quickly found a table for us (we were 8 persons) and told us (in german) about the food. She even recommended different dishes and drinks that fitted nicely to our wishes. We waited a little for the food but drinks came straight away. We were totally blown away by the quality and taste of the food. The portions were fitting sizes and it was easy to taste that the food was made with fresh materials and a portion of love for Mexican food. On a normal tuesday an wensday (yes, we went there TWICE. Thats how good it was) there were plenty of locals eating at CHACO TEX MEX and the atmosphere was lose and cozy. We meet both waitress’ and the chef, and they were all Nice and forthcoming. If you are ever staying in the Kenzingen/Freiburg/Rust Area CHACO TEX MEX is a must visit for dinner. Only Small negativ thing to say is that the a’la carte restaurant is only open monday to thursday, as the owners are concentrating on closed parties in the weekends. But thats okay, as the prices is fair for going out to eat on a normal week day. All the best recommendations from us!

Food and service are top. All in all, they are highly recommended, I have rarely been to such a good Mexican restaurant.

Unfortunately I was very disappointed. Food wasn't the best. Afterwards I had nausea and stomach pain. The young waitress was too over-motivated and rather pushy, so you couldn't even smoke a fag in peace in front of the door for 5 minutes. Not recommended in my opinion.

We called very spontaneously and got a table. We ordered nachos, quesadillas and burgers - everything was delicious, very fresh and authentically prepared. You can taste that everything is homemade. The service was quick, friendly and attentive. If we are in the region again, we will definitely stop by again. We paid a very fair €47 for a starter, two main courses, an extra side dish and three drinks.

The food was great, the young waitress was really friendly and friendly. The food came quickly and tasted very good. And as a Nacho fan, I got my money's worth. I found it a little bit cool otherwise there's nothing to complain about.
