Great selection Dinner for 4 people Osso Buco was outstanding There was no wine list, but there was great red wine from France 38€ was perfect, but I wish there were more German wines: Pinot Blanc or Noir de Noir with Pinot Noir.

We came here to eat veal cheeks, which were really very good! The meat was tender as it should be, only the mashed potatoes announced on the menu were more like mashed potatoes and unfortunately a bit cold, but that didn't harm the dish (I prefer to eat mashed potatoes anyway ;-)). I didn't like the atmosphere downstairs. The sofa is not ideal for sitting and eating, I would have liked to sit upstairs. All in all, worth recommending!

Unfortunately, we are disappointed with the price-performance ratio. First we wanted to eat the lunch menu that was advertised to us by the staff and when we sat down it was suddenly sold out. We then ate two Cokes and a burger each, without asking we were served a 0.5l Coke, which wasn't even Coke but Pepsi, which cost €5 per glass. I also had a sausage burger with a mustard sauce and white cabbage. Unfortunately, normal mustard was simply put on the burger and in an amount that unfortunately completely drowned out all the other flavors. The burger looked absolutely nothing like what was shown in the photo on the menu. Unfortunately, we are also a bit disappointed with the portion size because we paid over €40 for two people with two cokes and weren't really full.

Ate starter and main course here in a larger group. The food was good, the atmosphere is nice and the service was friendly too. The background music was a bit annoying. The prices are ok. Can be done well.

Until now we only knew Central as a cafe and ice cream parlor. By chance we discovered... it is also a cozy restaurant. We ordered a table online and it worked really well. We were greeted warmly and given a nice window seat. After we ordered the drinks we studied the menu. The selection was really very good and our choice was a burger, ciabatta with dry aged minced meat and fried egg, spaghetti aglio e olio and spaghetti with vegan meatballs. We didn't have to wait long for the food. The portions weren't exactly small and everything tasted great. Everything was very well seasoned, we loved it! The prices are reasonable and there will definitely be more visits! Unfortunately I didn't take a photo of the burger 😐 Also highly recommended for ice cream.

Whoever is travelling to Germany has to visit this place. Crispy Chicken Burger is a freaking masterpiece! Had to wait a bit but Saturday 7 PM is a time for crowdy restaurants. I'll come back fo sho

Long wait for order. When the waiter came, male, he looked everywhere else and exuded a very indifferent attitude. Asked for burger without tomato due to allergy, but got it with tomato. Sloane fritters. Beer in a warm glass. Would not exchange for a new one. No thank you or goodbye from the same waiter when paying. Definitely not recommended. Positive: super delicious burger.

Ate the meadow salad with goat cheese. Unfortunately it wasn't anything special... a mix of leaf lettuce with a very small goat's cheese thaler. Unfortunately the baguette is just run of the mill. Well the dressing was quite good. Then we had the baked goat cheese in brick dough which was quite good but for €15 the portion was far too small. Then we treated ourselves to some ice cream to take away. However, that was very tasty. So people, there is still room for improvement when it comes to eating

Very long waiting times. Ice cream on site costs €0.50 more per scoop! We took the ice cream at the counter and sat down to order the drink. I sat around stupidly until the others finished the ice cream and still no one came to take the order. Many guests have repeatedly complained that it takes too long…. The whole thing doesn't leave a good aftertaste.

We were there for breakfast today. The big breakfast has a wide selection and everything is nicely presented. The only thing I didn't like was that they were baked rolls and not fresh ones. Otherwise it would have been five stars. But gladly again.

Wonderfully located on the central market square in Goslar. We stopped there on a hike and sat outside. It took a while until it was our turn. But then it happened quite quickly. We had Belgian waffles. The waffle with hot raspberry sauce is highly recommended. Unfortunately, the waffle with chocolate bons didn't melt. Coffee was delicious. Gladly again

We dined here on Friday afternoon to early evening. It was quite cold outside, but unfortunately not particularly warm inside. The tables are quite narrow to the right of the window, which I personally don't like. In addition, a ladies' table entertained the entire downstairs restaurant. I would have liked the staff to point out that there were other people there. We then chose a rack of lamb and liver. I didn't want mashed potatoes with it, but unfortunately there weren't any more vegetables. I was just about full from the four rather small lamb chops in one piece. And the price was pretty decent for that. It was well cooked and tender as butter, but the portion was a bit small because there was a lot of bone in it. The liver including side dishes was tasty and sufficient. The staff was friendly but not particularly attentive

We ate a hamburger, it was tasty, but it was supposed to come with fries. In the picture you can see how few fries they added and they were so hard... The door wasn't even closed properly, it's -10 degrees inside.

My girlfriend and I are on vacation in Goslar and had lunch here. We chose the lunch menu: starter: mushroom soup, main course: pasta with chicken in curry sauce and an ice cream scoop for dessert. The food was very tasty and recommended. The Central Restaurant has great service staff, the ambience is great, quiet music in the background and clean. If it weren't so long from Berlin, I would eat here more often. Small addendum: We ate here again, look at the pictures. Starter: vegetable soup Main course: Pasta with shrimps Dessert: a scoop of ice cream If you are ever in Goslar, the Central Restaurant is a must.

We were there for the first time today. It was just great. The lunch menu, solyanka as a starter soup tasted excellent, as the main course sauerbraten with red cabbage, fresher Side salad and potatoes, for Dessert a scoop very good Vanilla icecream. In addition to the top location and the very elegant, chic, modern furnishings, this restaurant impresses with the use of high-quality ingredients. The result: a culinary delight, all on fine porcelain! The quality of the ice cream is difficult to come by.

As a couple we each had a burger, the maximum of 15 pieces of fries were delicious and crispy. Unfortunately the unique selling point was missing from the burger, I had to look for the burger side dishes that I had specially ordered (a slice of mushroom) and everything tasted like the over-seasoned burgo sauce. When we asked that the food was "okay", we were ignored and ignored. It's a shame given this top location right on the market square, for which I give it a well-intentioned 2 points. But service has a lot of room for improvement and sometimes it helps to accept criticism. A pity ....

Most importantly: the ice cream is good! However, we had to wait a long time for it several times. And the café is in a beautiful spot on the Markt, but the interior is not particularly attractive. But all in all just good.

Super tasty food and very nice service who also takes time for the customers. We felt very comfortable. And you had a nice view of the market. Whenever we are in Goslar again we would like to come back here for a break.

Simply 5* - incredibly tasty food, which is also a feast for the eyes. And the service is just as good: very accommodating, child-friendly and polite. We look forward to the next visit and then continue to try out the great dishes.

We went there spontaneously at lunchtime on Wednesday. We were greeted warmly and, since there were only two of us, we were seated at a table for two. When we ordered, we were offered the table for 4 at the window, as we could probably use the table for 2. I found this so thoughtful. The card with its offers did what it promised. Jedes Jahr, wenn wir in Goslar sind kehren wir hier ein. Sehr freundliche/r Inhaberin und Service. Die Speisekarte bietet mal etwas anderes als "gewöhnlich". Das Essen ist sehr lecker sowie etwas für's Auge.😋 Das Ambiente im Obergeschoss ist sehr ansprechend. Zur Weihnachtsmarktzeit sind schöne Fotos dort möglich.

Wir saßen oben und hatten einen schönen Blick auf den Weihnachtsmarkt. Die Speisekarte war sehr ansprechend, leider war das Essen es nicht. Wenn man Sous vide anbietet und dann total trockenes Fleisch serviert, kann keinen guten Koch haben. Es war alles sehr geschmacklos und dafür viel zu teuer. Wir waren sehr enttäuscht und auch der Fisch war tot gebraten. Bruschetta und Wildgulaschsuppe waren auch geschmacklos. Der junge Kellner war nett, aber leider nicht aufmerksam und selten zu sehen. Auch die Freundlichkeit des Chefs ließ sehr zu wünschen übrig. Wir kommen nicht wieder. Die Fotos spiegeln leider nicht den schlechten Geschmack wieder.

Es war nicht so voll wie anderswo. Die Portionen waren recht ordentlich und die Bedienung richtig freundlich zuvorkommend und aufmerksam.

Wenn wir in Goslar sind kommen wir gerne wieder her. Essen und Service sehr gut, Personal sehr freundlich.

Wir haben im Central Kaffee getrunken und einen Apfelstrudel gegessen. Das Personal war sehr freundlich, die Getränke und Speisen waren lecker und Preise waren angemessen.

Wir waren sehr zufrieden hier. Der Service war zuvorkommend und aufmerksam, die Karte vielversprechend, die Preise angemessen und das Essen hervorragend. Klar hat es etwas gedauert, aber das war es wert. Und wer keine Zeit für eine frische Zubereitung des Essen hat, soll eben in einen Schnellimbiss gehen. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Von außen harztypisches bis unscheinbares Gebäude in bester, zentraler Marktplatzlage am Rathaus - von innen auf beiden Etagen sehr geschmackvoll, stylish und auch mit Designlampen oder Holz ( Wandtäfelung / freie Balken ) gestaltet. Lecker Essen, sehr stilvoll garniert, könnte einen Hauch wärmer sein. Wohlschmeckende Cocktails und ein sehr zuvorkommender und höflicher Service! Auch für gehobene Ansprüche geeignet.

Ein schönes Café direkt am Marktplatz mit toller Aussicht, nicht nur im Erdgeschoss, sondern auch im ersten Stock. Sehr empfehlenswert ist das Mittagsmenü, der Preis ist sehr großzügig, und das Essen ist sehr frisch lecker zubereitet.

Wir haben hier spontan zur Mittagszeit eine kleine Auszeit genommen. Das Café liegt direkt am Marktplatz und mittags sogar toll in der Sonne. Die Optik & geschmacklich war alles tiptop. Als krönenden Abschluss gab es sogar noch das Glocken-, und Figurenspiel am Marktplatz in der ersten Reihe. Geheimtipp!

Tolles Café für ein entspanntes Frühstück mit tollem Ausblick auf den Marktplatz. Unter der Woche ebenfalls ein sehr guter Ort zum Arbeiten.

Wir haben hier nur eine kurze "Eispause" eingelegt. Das Restaurant & Eiscafe liegt direkt am Markt von Goslar (zentraler geht es nicht mehr / tolle Lage). Es war recht voll und das Personal wirkte etwas gestresst. Leider war der Tisch nicht sauber (Reste vom Gast zuvor / haben wir selbst bereinigt). Wir mussten eine Weile warten bis wir die Bestellung aufgeben konnten (hatten schon den Eindruck es gäbe keine Bedienung am Tisch). Das Eis und auch die Tiramisu waren gut und schön angerichtet. Als wir bezahlen wollten, mussten wir dreimal darum bitten, da keiner wirklich Zeit hatte. Der Kellner wirkte dann auch noch ziemlich genervt. Sehr schade.

Sometimes you hear that single travellers are not welcome in restaurants. In this place you have to sit upstairs in a big empty room as single travellers, not very cosy.

I wasn't convinced of this café. The waiter seemed to be a bit confused and wasn't really capable of understanding the German language. Flowers on the tables seem to be outdated nowadays. Overall not so much welcoming. The cream on our ice cream was buttery and didn't seem to be whipped in a cold state. Hence we all had unpleasant stomach problems afterwards. The good thing is that you are directly at the medieval city centre, that in its beauty can't be spoiled so easily.

Angenehm überrascht! Hatte den Laden zunächst "nur" für eine Eisdiele gehalten. War dann überrascht von dem großen Speisenangebot in der Karte. Der "kleine" Salat mit Rinderfilet Streifen war wirklich gut und frisch. Hatte überlegt den großen zu nehmen, daß wahrscheinlich zu viel gewesen für einen kleinen Snack zum Abend. Beim nächsten Besuch wird die Karte weiter probiert 😋

Leckere Eisbecher und kleine Snacks überzeugen für dieses Café auf dem Marktplatz von Goslar. Von hier aus kann man auch den Bergmannszug im Dach des abgebildeten Hotels genießen.

Wij hadden een appartement gehuurd boven het restaurant. Dit zag er super uit. Vervolgens de eerste ochtend daar ontbeten maar dit was zeer slecht. Het ontbijt kostte € 9.50 en daar had je slechts twee afbakbroodjes, 1 klein plakje kaas, 1 klein plakje spek, 1 plakje worst en 1 koffie voor. Geen jam, geen jus d`orange geen keuze in broodjes. De volgende dag zijn we naar Restaurant De Butterhanne gegaan en daar hadden we voor dezelfde prijs een uitgebreid all you can eat ontbijtbuffet mat alles erop en eraan.
