Amazing place to hanging out with friends.

Unfortunately, it was way too cold in the restaurant.

We used to love going there. Since the introduction of the reservation fee of 10 euros per person, the service and customer friendliness has become increasingly poor. In the early evening I wanted to reserve a table by phone - despite the reservation fee. The answer on the phone was, it's really bad right now, write an email. The correct answer would have been, excuse me, can we call you back straight away? Once again we canceled the table in good time. Refunding the reservation fee took over two weeks and required several emails. The music from the speakers is so loud that it is almost impossible to have a conversation at the table. It takes several minutes, up to half an hour, for the service to notice that you still have a request, despite moderate utilization. After further problems on our last visit, this will unfortunately be our last visit.

A great pub, I like going there with some of my friends. Super nice people and delicious drinks at authentic prices. As a professional you can spend a little bit on the long evening, but that happens.

Quaint, winding, cute shop! Really has charm and character! A band's live performance has a kitchen charm - it's small, cramped and unfortunately people talk way too loudly

Irish Breakfest at it's best. Great pub, nice atmosphere, huge whiskey selection. Again and again! There is also a beer garden! Now more live events again. Always note opening times, the information is maintained by the operator! Cottage Pie is highly recommended!

Super tasty, fresh food with typical Irish and English cuisine. There is a large selection of beers including German beers on tap. The service is very attentive and friendly! Card payments including American Express are possible without any problems. 🤩

Great ambience paired with good and attentive service! At Celtic Cottage there is a huge selection of different stouts, reds and also Pilseners like Heineken or Kindl. The pint is available until 5 p.m. for an unbeatable 13 euros! The food tastes really good and is freshly prepared. The heated outdoor terrace is particularly inviting, but the interior design is also super authentic!

Highly recommended. It's been my go-to place for years when I want to meet up for a beer with my friends scattered around the world. Friendly service, rustic atmosphere, delicious drinks.

Pub quiz is super fun and a great way to practice German. Definitely need some Schlager knowledge training to get competitive. Great selection of ciders and alcohol free options. Shepherds pie is satisfying. Service is great even when it’s super packed wait staff seems to have fun at work. Went with an Irish friend who said the Irish breakfast was on point.

A great pub, the menu is a bit confusing, but you can get a full overview online. The Black Current versions of Red stout or Guinness are terrific. The sweetness of the syrup balances out the bitterness and the flavor goes together so well! Definitely try it! The girls and boys there are super nice and attentive. I'd love to come back!

My circle of friends have been drinking here for years and the shop keeps its prices and quality stable.

I like the store very much. Everyone on the team is super friendly, drinks and food are of a good standard and the ambience is perfect.

Nice establishment with a large selection of spirits and select beers on tap. Had the Leberkäse burger and it was delicious. Green tiling in the sanitary rooms. (Reservations are only possible for €10 per place, but these will be charged.)

Nice atmosphere! Very nicely decorated, but it's really tight. It's really cozy with five of us. The quiz on Monday is perfect for a social evening with friends. The food is also delicious, although there could be more vegan choices.

One of the oldest pubs in Berlin. I've been going there for over 30 years. Authentic atmosphere, good beer, nice staff.

St. Patrick's Day. Not enough staff on site suffers from the rush of guests that day. Food was out at 2 p.m. But great atmosphere and the staff was nice and friendly.

What a shame about the day! We wanted to go out for a nice Irish breakfast with friends again. Unfortunately the service was more than overwhelmed with six orders. We were told right at the start (11:00 a.m.) that the kitchen would have a lot of work to do. No problem, we weren't hungry. The drinks came after about 30 minutes, but unfortunately not completely. Despite repeated requests, the missing Guinness simply didn't come. Jelly shots that were not ordered came instead. Of the five breakfasts we ordered, two arrived after 1 hour. The other three were not at the table even after more than two hours. We then paid and were supposed to pay for the missing beer and the jelly shots we didn't order and didn't want. We won't be going there again and won't recommend the pub.

You shouldn't give the landlord a cent! After an hour (!!!) of asking what was going on with the breakfast we ordered, we were told that the kitchen was unfortunately overwhelmed and they couldn't do anything. When we asked again after ten minutes, we were only told that you had canceled our order - I have never had such impudence before. And then insist on full payment for the drinks that were intended for breakfast! Without a single word of apology! NEVER AGAIN AND I WILL ADVISE ANYONE WHO ASKS ME NOT TO WASTE THEIR MONEY!!!

A really quaint pub. Just like a German imagines without ever having seen one live. Fast, very nice service. Lots of events and live music. Everything is very tight but that's what makes it so charming. You have to be at the table with others if you want to sit 😁. A wide selection of breakfast and other hot dishes until midnight. Nice selection of beers and ciders. We only tried the cottage pie, which wasn't that great in terms of taste and the portion size wasn't great considering the price. The coleslaw that came with it somehow didn't taste like anything. The sandwiches and burgers we saw all looked good and the portions were large. All in all a lovely evening.

The pub is very cool. There was live music that night and the place was buzzing. The atmosphere was exactly what you would want in a pub. The food was great, the beers were good as usual. The prices are in the upper segment, but that is put into perspective by your own income. What is more expensive for one person is inexpensive for another. Go there, check out the live list and have fun 🤩

Whiskey der Woche, ein Guiness, eine Käse Lauch Suppe, so verbringt man leicht die Zeit, bis die Tanzparty der Tochter vorbei ist.

Hatte im Celtic Cottsge schon vor ca. 25 Jahren mein allererstes Bier und lieb es hier einfach!!!

Tolles Pub. Das Essen (kleine Auswahl) ist lecker, die Preise moderat. Zügige, freundliche Bedienung. Regelmäßig Live Musik.

Es war recht voll, wir haben glücklicherweise draussen noch einen Tisch bekommen. Die Service Leute waren alle gut gelaunt und hatten spass. Zum Ambiente gibt's wenig zu sagen, bis ich dann mal drinnen gesehen habe. ^^ Werde aber wieder kommen. Per övi ist es sehr gut zu erreichen. Autos haben es da eher schwer. Aber das ist ok so ^^

Eindruck vom 14.10. - Livekonzert. Über die furchtbare Akustik im hinteren Bereich kann man hinwegsehen, sollte es sich nicht um einen Dauerzustand handeln. Die Räumlichkeiten bieten ein schönes Ambiente. Leider ist der Großteil des Services sehr unfreundlich bis aggressiv mit den Gästen umgegangen. Man kann, wie es ein Kollege auch bewies, sich freundlich und geschickt durch die Menschenmassen schlängeln - immerhin: Ein voller irish Pub macht die Atmosphäre doch erst so richtig aus und (nebenbei) die Kasse voll. Vllt nochmal die Haltung seinen Gästen gegenüber überdenken.

Immer bezaubernde Bedienung, klasse Stimmung. Ich bin sehr froh, dass wir in Steglitz so einen tollen Pub haben :)

I live in Steglitz since 2 years. I found this place at the beginning of my relocation. I loved it! The vibe, atmosphere, staff, food, everything was amazing. Unfortunately, last 3 months the staff strated to be rude. The bartender and a young gentlement are the only ones that can communicate nicely, and being helpful. I am not going to give description of those who are unfriendly, unhelpful, and forgetting that they are in service industry. Me and my partner decided to stop going there after he went there in the afternoon for a reservation, and being treated unhelpful, unkind (this was the last drop after many other rude attitudes when we go there). You are an amazing pub, beautiful kitchen, beautiful musicians. And first of everything, you are an Irish Pub. Irish people are the most kindest. Hire people who understands where they are working, which industry they are working in, and also respects the Irish Pub mentality. I am absolutely sorry writing these and our decision of not coming anymore. But I won't accept being treated like your staff do when I want to enjoy my time, and come there to get a service.

Sehr urig und gemütlich bei entspannter Atmosphäre

Anfang September habe ich zum wiederholten Mal während meines Besuches in Berlin das Celtic Cottage aufgesucht. Die Biere vom Fass sind hervorragend. Das Personal ist freundlich und sehr serviceorientiert. Besonders hat mir an dem Tag das Angebot der Woche mit einem Glenfarclas 10 Jahre gefallen. Er passte hervorragend zu einem Guiness vom Fass. Da ich bisher nie entäuscht gewesen bin und bei jedem Besuch in Berlin gern dort einkehre, möchte ich diese Lokalität und natürlich auch einen Whisky zum Bier empfehlen. Guiness served well. Nice place.

Had the Irish sausage with baked beans and mashed potatoes. The potatoes weren't as fluffy as I'm used to and needed a little salt but the sausage, beans and bacon were yummy and added that balance when eaten with the potatoes. The hot chocolate was divine. Wish there were more desserts than just muffins but all in all I really enjoyed my meal.

Very kind waiter, day 1 on the job, he was originally from Scotland (I don’t know his name) but he gave exceptional service.

Bester Pub weit und breit und seit vielen Jahren eine Institution hier im Kiez. Das wissen auch viele Menschen zu schätzen und es ist daher ratsam, einen Tisch zu reservieren - besonders an Montagen, wenn das spaßige Pubquiz stattfindet.

Ganz tolle Atmosphäre und super nettes Personal! Leider ist es oft arg überfüllt. Für den Umsatz ist das natürlich super, aber für die Gäste eben etwas anstrengend. Ich gehe trotzdem gern hin.

Eine urige Kneipe mit Holzvertäfelung. Sauber, ordentlich und mit vernünftigen Toiletten. Zudem für Nichtraucher, da leckere Speisen angeboten werden. Sehr zu empfelen auch das Quiz (immer montags).

Nicht wahrhaft irisch, aber eine gute Pinte! Und dass seit Jahrzehnten.

Super Pub um Abends etwas zu trinken! Auch das Essensangebot is gut im Vergleich zu anderen Pubs. Dart spielen kann man hier auch.

Ein wunderschönes Pub. Es gibt eine große Auswahl an Bieren vom Fass. Dabei gibt es eine gute Auswahl an irischen Bieren. Das Angebot an Speisen und Snacks ist überwältigend. Das Essen ist sehr lecker und die Mitarbeiter sehr freundlich. Wir hatten einen schönen Abend und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Der Innen- und Außenbereich ist sehr schön und einladend. Die Sanitäranlagen sind sehr sauber. Ich komme definitiv wieder.
