Celentano in Garmisch-Partenkirchen

Good pizza. Good dough, lots of cheese, maybe the most.

The food isn't that great (no idea who runs it, but it's not Italian). It's usually strangely empty (how do they survive?). The kids' corner is great, so we still give it 3 stars.

There was pasta frutti de mare to order. Unfortunately, I was very disappointed. The rigatoni was tasty, but there were some complaints about the seafood. My personal impression was that some seafood had been bought from the Lidl or Aldi next door and cooked with the rigatoni. The sauce, if there was any at all, was barely noticeable. For €14.50, you can get better in the Garmisch region.

In my opinion the dough is bad and tasteless. If the pizza dough were different it would be perfect, but unfortunately we threw away our pizza today which is a shame. The churros are fantastic but when it comes to pizza it's not good at all.

You can order via Lieferando but delivery over the phone will not be delivered to the same address. The lady on the phone is listless.

A wonderful establishment, large portions and corresponding pleasure. Nice waiters and atmosphere. Deserved 5 stars. I'll be back here again!

Disappointing experience – not recommended! I was with a friend on December 31st. at Celentano and had reserved a table in advance by telephone. Unfortunately, we were unpleasantly surprised when we arrived: that evening there was neither pizza nor pasta, but only a special menu with fish or meat dishes - information that was not given to us when we made the reservation. When we asked whether it was still possible to order pasta, we were told that this would be “too time-consuming”. However, we were offered to make a pizza. My friend asked for a simple ham pizza, to which we were told that the restaurant was halal and therefore did not use pork. This was confusing for us as the online menu listed several pizzas with shoulder ham. We ended up ordering two pizzas with beef salami, olives and mushrooms - this was the only pizza we were offered. The taste of the food was okay, but nothing special. Unfortunately we felt uncomfortable throughout the meal as the pizza maker was constantly watching us. The biggest shock came with the bill: each pizza cost €16.50, even though a comparable pizza (Pizza Siciliana with salami, olives and pepperoni) was listed on the menu as €10.70. The only change was that pepperoni was replaced by mushrooms - a price increase of almost €6 is incomprehensible. In addition, something completely different was stated on the invoice, which gave the impression that the prices were set spontaneously. Conclusion: Unfriendly service, unclear communication and excessive prices - unfortunately not a recommendation!

Saltimbocco at its finest!! Extremely nice service and a cozy location!! We'll definitely be back on our next stay in Garmisch!

A good Italian in the heart of Garmisch-Partenkirchen. (Visited on July 23, 2023)

Honestly one of the worst pizzas I’ve ever had. The fish plate was slightly better, with an overcooked rice. The almost empty restaurant should have been a sign that something is off, however everywhere else was packed and had to give it a try. Service was very slow despite us being the only table at some point. Avoid if you can.

Very nice restaurant with friendly staff. Food wasn't warm enough...tasted good. Open wine "Merlot" not good at all...had to give it back

This was my first disappointing meal in Germany. There was really no taste to the pasta and the Insalata mista was just weird. All ingredients were just chopped up with some green onions and sprouts on top and barely any dressing. And I don't know what that dressing was but it certainly had nothing to do with italien. I should have known better since the place was not busy at all.

We always enjoyed going there but this time the staff was very rude. Had to complain about a meal because we hadn't ordered it and that was too much for the waiter. We were then “serviced” by another colleague.

We picked it bc it looked lovely (I know, bad idea). The servers were kind, quick, and helpful. The food was really not good at all. The pizza had no flavor. The spaghetti carbonara tasted sour. I loved my dry German riesling, though!

The first impression was great. Service was very nice and came often to ask if everything was OK. Ok, there wasn't much going on. That's why I can't judge what it would be like if it was full. From the inside I was speechless for my taste. Would be a great wedding location. This old style with a basement building look is really great. The taste of the food was good for me. The pizza was so-so but it's a matter of taste (had a friend) and overall you can eat well for the price.

Very happy again! Starting with the extremely nice young lady who served us quickly and very friendly, to the very tasty food (small salad, pizza calzone and mushroom risotto); there was nothing to complain about.

We really enjoyed our dinner here. My son got the calzone, daughter got the spaghetti, wife got pasta with creme and chicken, and I had the Lasagna al Forno. All food was served hot and delicious and portions were generous. Nobody finished all of theirs which doesn't happen often. The server was very friendly, even with our daughter spilling a drink. We will be back next time!

Food was good quality and portions also generous. We had a selection of dishes across the group and everyone enjoyed what they ordered. It was a shame that front of house was so short staffed. The waitress who looked after us was pretty much on her own. I would like to thank her for being pleasant despite having so much to do. Running down the corridor to the kitchen isn't a good look. A good number of people walked away before being seated while we were there.

Not a positive experience for us. Pasta carbonara really completely tasteless. Pizza salami had no salami on it but some German ham. But what we thought was the worst was the service. Totally unfriendly, demotivated, especially the younger girl with brown hair. Couldn't even crack a smile. Our 4-year-old daughter said hi to her and waved, but just zero response. Girl go find another job. This place is a mockery!

We were told we couldn't order pizza anymore. However, the guests before and also a family after and still got pizza. This was a bit of a shame… However, the food was very tasty and with the nice atmosphere I would recommend it.

Had the most delicious salads here (Nizzardo and Gamberto) and they surpassed all expectations. Extremely large, fresh, and favorable. Celentano wins as offering the best salads we have have ever eaten in Germany. Had the Dorado on a previous visit and it was also fantastic. Don't miss this restaurant.

Never experienced such bad service. It all started when I wanted to order a Kaiserschmarrn and the waiter replied that I couldn't order it because "that would be too much work for the kitchen". The restaurant was not very busy at that time. When I asked which dessert I could order, I was only met with a roll of my eyes and pointedly pointed to the tiramisu. Funnily enough, 2-3 hours later, when the place was much fuller, another lady was served the panacotta, which wasn't given to me to choose from. The drinks we ordered were brought to other tables every now and then and overall it was really very inattentive service. The highlight was then reached with the payment. Apparently it was a big problem for the “nice” waitress that we two couples wanted to pay separately. This was met with eye rolls and snorts. I am truly absolutely shocked at this terrible service and will never visit this place again. Oh and saying “goodbye” was probably too stressful for her.

Unfortunately very inattentive and unfriendly "service". Advertised dishes are rejected when ordered with the comment that it would be too much effort for the kitchen... that was the original original sound (at 5:30 p.m.)... When ordering a drink that was also advertised - latte macchiato with Bayleys it was said that such a thing generally doesn't exist. After showing it on the map, it was possible.... Sorry, but you should know your map at least a little. After collecting the money we were left standing without saying goodbye... So once and never again...

Service was terrible. Service was consistently unfriendly. Kaiserschmarrn was on the menu, but when we ordered it we were told that it would be “too much effort” and we should choose something else from the menu. Same thing with schnapps. We wanted Sambuca but that wasn't available either. Drinks were delivered to the wrong table several times and the waitress hardly knew the menu herself. When we ordered a latte macchiato with Baileys, which was also on the menu, we were told that they didn't offer it. We then showed the waitress that it was on the menu and then the drink was brought very carelessly. A very dissatisfied visit throughout and a visit unfortunately not recommended.

Worst pizzeria of my life. The sausage on the pizza was disgusting. Not a good eatery.

Absolutely delicious and reasonable prices

Unfortunately the Piccata Milanese was burnt. There was also no discount or compensation. Pizza was pale on the bottom and burnt on the sides at the top.

This restaurant has a children's corner where you can eat in peace and your children can play. That's a plus point. + The service staff is very friendly to their customers and can advise you when ordering. I am someone who doesn't eat pork, and here in this restaurant there is almost no pork

Super delicious fresh and handmade pizza is served on an original wooden board! Fair prices and large, well-topped pizzas on very fluffy and delicious pizza dough! Hard to top ;-)))

Nice place, was opened during the holiday. Italian food was really good.

Pizza Calzone was rather mediocre, the cheese hadn't completely melted and tasted very strong, I have no idea what type was used, but it didn't go well with it. The edge was rolled excessively thick and the filling was very uneven. Prices are completely okay, but the quality of the pizza could be better.

During our meal, a drug dealer in red track pants walked in, then the head cook bought drugs from him over the pizza counter in front of us. Drug dealer sat at the front table, and flashed hundreds of euro, and held a few more bags of coke in his hands. Food was tasty thiugh!

We were actually pleasantly surprised! Italian map with Turkish bonds. The Spaghetti Aglio e Oglio was excellent and seasoned with a good portion of pepperoncino. The mixed salad deserves special praise because of the portion size and the good dressing! The pizza didn't quite meet the expectations of an Italophile and experienced pizza consumer, but what was served was still impressive in terms of appearance and taste. Nice, international and attentive young talent service.

Very tasty pizza. The dough is more crunchy than fluffy. The restaurant is particularly recommended for parents with (small) children. There is a play area (trampoline, mini slide, trampoline, car, ball pit, etc.) in a somewhat screened area. The floor is covered with mats so that it is not so cold and you can even let a baby crawl. The staff was also very attentive and accommodating. Thank you, we felt very comfortable.

The pizza was inedible, the pizza maker found it useful to use methylated spirits to stoke the fire (this is completely absorbed into the pizza...) We all ordered a pizza with parma ham, but instead of parma ham we got some German ham that doesn't even come close to... We confronted them about this but they acted as if they were stupid, Pizzas not paid!! I WILL NEVER COME BACK HERE!!! PS tent across the street was delicious, great burgers!!

We tried to get a table on the first day only to be told there was no more food. On the second day they said they didn't have a free table, even though they got up and there were free tables. Very unfriendly at the entrance.

The pizza we ordered with parmesan, parmesan and rocket was richly topped but very dry and bland. No taste at all and difficult to get down. The dough was very thin and difficult to cut. You couldn't even order a small beer, so you had to take a large one. Unfortunately the waitress couldn't do anything about it and wanted to make up for the mess, but unfortunately we'd had enough. Unfortunately, at just under 15 euros for a pizza, I expected more. There is only one star for the bad food. We won't be coming back again. A pity

We ate at Celentano again today and wanted to eat delicious pizza again. Unfortunately we were taught otherwise. I ordered the Pizza Principessa because I always eat it there. My girlfriend had one with Parma ham. When I got my pizza my jaw dropped! I've never been served something so unkind in a restaurant! See photos on the left, pizza from today, on the right the pizza from over half a year ago. I knew the pizza with fr. Basil, mozzarella and tomatoes. I got something today that isn't worthy of a pizza! The pizza maker should be ashamed of serving his guests something like that! The dough was so hard and dry that the entire flavor of the pizza was missing. The pizza tasted bland. Not even the pizza knife could cut through it! Unfortunately not recommended for the price and it's a shame. We're definitely not coming back. P.S. the young waitress was very nice and accommodating. Thanks!

The food is delicious, but in my opinion the extra oil on the pizza is not necessary. Service was very accommodating. Pizza is served on coals - which enhances the whole thing even more. The salad was very tasty and attractively presented.

Very atmospheric restaurant, delicious food. Nice and helpful service.

We didn't like the pizza at all, it was rubbery. In Pizza Fungi there are too few mushrooms, in other pizzas there are very few tomatoes and other ingredients. These are not real Italian pizzas! We were really disappointed.

Der Teig ist sehr dick, dafür der Belag sehr dünn- 5 Scheiben Salami auf eine große Pizza, viel milde Peperoni- macht das Ganze etwas sauer, etwas Käse. Der Kellner war sehr nett, kommen dennoch nicht mehr hier her.

Wir haben eine sehr gute Pizza und sehr gute Nudeln gegessen.

Ate there this evening with friends. We were seated immediately, waited on promptly. My wife and I shared a vegetable pizza. It was larger than expected and very good. Our friends got spaghetti and they enjoyed that. We’d go back again if in the area.

In 2022 fabelhaftes Essen, wir waren mehrfach begeistert. Diese Jahr waren die Nudeln leider matschig und die Soßen sehr fade.

Voor een goed italiaans diner moet je hier zijn. De pizza en risotto waren erg goed. Toch helaas was punten aftrek voor de service, want de ober was een aantal keren bij verkeerde tafels bij het eten. Toen we wilden afrekenen zou hij zijn collega bij ons roepen, maar heeft hij dit niet gedaan. Hierdoor moesten we vrij lang wachten tot we konden afrekenen.

Spaghetti Bolognese: Dosensoße und zu mild und verkochte Billignudeln. Pizza und Salat war o.k. War echt enttäuscht.

Great location with a great atmosphere. Service was fast. Food was ok. I ordered the lasagna al forno at it was burning hot. Took me a very long time to eat it since it was so hot. The restaurant has a nice feature that I have not seen in any restaurant in Germany and that is a button to call the waiter/waitress for service or for the check. It didn’t use it because the waitress was excellent and I didn’t have to wait much.

Pizza schmeckt sehr gut, 😋 aber ein bisschen dünner Boden.

Dieses Lokal befindet sich im Zentrum von Garmisch-Partenkirchen. Man wird hier sowohl in einem sehr schönen Restaurant oder auf der Terrasse, welche komplett überdacht ist, bedient. Das Personal ist super nett und die Speisen sehr lecker. Man bekommt gutes Essen zu fairen Preisen. Wir machen in Garmisch Urlaub und kommen bestimmt noch einmal her. Vielen Dank

Very welcoming staff, specially a guy from Albania. We had pizza, lasagne and risotto and everything was really good. Not expensive at all.

Bin hier gerne zum Essen. Kann alles von hier empfehlen. Wenn ich in der Nähe von Gap bin, muss ich hier essen.

Das Essen war sehr gut! Sowohl die Pizza als auch die Pasta waren hervorragend! Die Preise waren durchaus angemessen, die Portionen waren großzügig. Der Service war fantastisch! Samed hat alle Extrawünsche aufgenommen und erfüllt🍊 :)

Wir waren hier während des Lockdowns. Essen gab es natürlich nur zum Mitnehmen. Verzehrt haben wir es dann irgendwo auf einer Parkbank. Die Pasta war gar nicht gut (kann aber auch der Take Away Verpackung geschuldet sein) und die Pizza war so weit in Ordnung. Der Service war aufmerksam und freundlich (es war der Situation geschuldet extrem wenig los). Das Lokal wird von Türken betrieben. Den Umständen entsprechend 4 Punkte.

Non so chi ci sia in cucina ma se è un italiano è preoccupante, Bruschette molto discutibili La carbonara era un chewing-gum, vino della casa Bianco un frizzantino annacquato tremendo. Esperienza pessima mai più . Personale in sala cordiale ma dal momento che al ristorante si va per mangiare e non per chiacchierare Assolutamente Bocciato.

Excellenter und sehr aufmerksamer Service. Qualität der Speisen war top. Die Karte bietet für jeden Geschmack etwas. Die Gerichte sind toll angerichtet. Wir kommen wieder.

Die überwiegend schlechten Bewertungen kann ich so nicht bestätigen. Sehr nettes Personal, das Essen kam innerhalb 15 Minuten und war allgemein sehr schmackhaft. Pizza, Salat und Vorspeisen. Alles frisch und lecker. Und ohne Steine… Meine Vermutung ist, dass man hier letztes Jahr vielleicht irgendwo gespart hat wegen Corona. Wir waren zufrieden.

Trotz der schlechten Bewertungen haben wir uns entschieden dort zu essen. Das Essen sieht dort sehr lecker aus es ist sehr schön angerichtet aber dann hört’s leider auch schon auf. Zur Vorspeise hatten wir büffelmozarella was leider normaler Mozzarella war . Als ich die Bedienung drauf angesprochen habe wurde nur gesagt so machen wir das immer aber sie würde für mich in der Küche fragen. Sie entschuldigte sich zwar aber blieb dabei das es büffelmozarella sei . Dann kam von meiner Begleitung der Hauptgang und mein Essen war nach ca 10 min immer noch nicht da und wir mussten nach fragen. Erst dann kam das Essen das war leider sehr schade. Das Essen ist ok aber mehr auch nicht .
