Caspian Restaurant in Münster

Four of us were there for the breakfast buffet on a Sunday. We were warmly welcomed, had a table with a view of the elephants and had a great time sitting there. Breakfast includes a freshly squeezed juice (I had watermelon/orange) and all hot drinks for 19.90, as well as a nice selection of food. I can highly recommend the hot chocolate. But the selection of dishes with ham, salmon, cheese, bacon, scrambled eggs, boiled eggs, cream cheese, Bircher muesli, baked goods and much more was also impressive. The quality of the food was good. The only thing I miss here is a carafe of tap water, because that would cost extra. We were certainly not here for the last time!

I rarely write Google reviews, simply because food is always a matter of taste and I don't want to badmouth a restaurant or snack bar, but unfortunately I'm now obliged to do so. I ordered a pizza and the cheese tasted bitter and had a strange smell. Unfortunately, the pizza could no longer be eaten and had to be thrown away.

The rest area was extremely dirty, especially outside, the toilets have a 1970s charm, so you miss the food. We got a chocolate bar that was three days before its expiration date and no longer tasty. Playground was ok but overall this rest area doesn't invite you to linger. We'll avoid this rest area in the future. Zero stars.
