Casa Toro Negro in Dallgow-Döberitz

I stopped by again after a long time. Looking at the plate, it was so carelessly presented, more like fast-food quality. I've never seen a plate prepared this well. The herb butter came straight from a roll, the fries were far too dry, and the giant tomato looked like it had been bitten off on one side. There was no garnish on the plate – just a complete lack of care. I was very disappointed. A plate shouldn't look like that in a steakhouse.

An overbearing waiter who felt the need to tell me I looked like a right-wing politician! If you have nothing to say, you should keep your mouth shut. This waiter managed to ruin my evening with friends! I will never set foot in that place again. Oh, and the food didn't redeem it either; the meat was mediocre, and the crab was more raw than cooked! No wine selection whatsoever!

Rarely have we eaten so well and for such a good price. The service was excellent, fast, and friendly. Next time, we'd prefer to sit by the window; it's bustling and noisy in the middle. The roof over the room... well, let's just say it's not great.

So... we'd like to thank you very much for everything... we'd gladly give you six stars. Thanks also to the young man (Lucas). The two Berliners. Bye until next time. 😊

The food is so-so... but yesterday we knew we'd never set foot in that place again. We had to wait almost an hour for the bus and thought we'd grab a drink. The place is open until 11 pm, right? When we got in a little after 10 pm, there was a rude waiter who seemed overwhelmed. He said, "We're closing, there's nothing more to drink here, we're closing up quickly." Well, maybe he just couldn't tell time. Anyway, it's a shame you can't give zero stars.

Friendly service, fast service, great steaks, affordable lunch menu, steak with potato & sour cream and salad for €9.99, parking directly in front of the restaurant. Or by train, located directly at the S-Bahn station.

The food has been deteriorating for years. But we wanted to try again. On our last visit in October 2025, the steak was too stringy, the beans were raw, and the baked potato was mushy. The waiter explained that the potatoes were mushy because the wrong kind had been purchased. There was no discount, not even a shot of schnapps on the house as an apology. That was our last visit.

Top-notch food. But it depends on what you like. For me, it was fantastic. Especially at these prices. Anyone who complains should eat somewhere else. If I didn't live so close, I'd be here more often. Thanks to the friendly service. I highly recommend it.

The steaks taste good, service was nice, but the Gorgonzola cheese sauce had no flavor and was definitely not self-made, and tasted like a neutral ready-mix. The roasted potatoes were oily and not crispy. Sadly disappointed, because in 2012, the restaurant was much better.

I was there at lunchtime and took their lunch special. The portions were large enough for a reasonable price. As always, I ordered a small portion and got a large portion. After pointing this out, I was only charged for a small portion. Apparently, a gastronomic problem with listening. Otherwise, the food was good, which is the most important thing.

Unfortunately, the fillet steak was very stringy when cut and not particularly warm. The extra vegetable side dish I ordered was cold and nothing special. The portion of herb butter (€3.00) was ridiculous for 300g of meat. There wasn't a single gram of salt in the fries, as was the entire meal. All in all, it was very disappointing considering the cost of over €100 for three people. The atmosphere was very loud, partly due to the staff. First and last visit to this restaurant.

My wife and I were thrilled again. We celebrated my birthday with a lovely evening at the steakhouse. The server was very friendly, the steak was incredibly delicious, and the evening was very enjoyable overall. We're already looking forward to my wife's birthday :-) Great meat from the humidor ;-)

I ordered fried potatoes and a schnitzel here and was unfortunately very disappointed. The fried potatoes were both greasy and undercooked. The schnitzel was extremely small—so small that you could practically eat it in one bite. Overall, the food was not satisfying in terms of taste. I'm pretty sure: I won't be visiting this restaurant again.

For years, we've had more than fair prices, a lovely atmosphere, and consistently top-notch service from the staff! You can't get this quality of meat at the well-known, large chain with the name "B," and it costs a lot more there. Hope you stay with us for a while longer! 😎👍🏻

We went there today for my daughter's 35th birthday with 13 people. The table we had booked was fully set and was assigned to us on time. The service was friendly, but we had to wait a bit for the menus because other groups were in the restaurant at the same time and there weren't enough menus in stock. Everyone ordered drinks first, then their food. The dishes were very tasty and the drinks were well chilled. A few people also ordered dessert and some coffees. So, it was a hefty bill, with my daughter paying €168 for the drinks. Everyone paid for their own meals. I found it strange, however, when the waiter who served us approached me, that he hadn't received a tip from my daughter, especially since they deducted a percentage of the total, meaning he was losing money. Since the card reader didn't work, my daughter's mother gave €20 in cash, and I also tipped €6.50 for our portion of the meal. I don't know what the others gave. But €26.50 isn't bad. It's a shame, though, that the restaurant didn't offer a shot of schnapps, a flower, or a small bottle of wine to celebrate my 35th birthday, because it couldn't be missed; we were singing "Happy Birthday" loudly. Yes, tips are important, and you're happy when you receive them, but even small tokens of appreciation for a (birthday) guest are part of a good restaurant. Hence, only four stars....

Unfortunately, we were very disappointed. The staff were initially very friendly, but the wait was long before we could order and even longer for the bill. On top of that, after about 20 minutes, the waiter came over and told us, "Oh man, you could have left by now." The goulash soup was only lukewarm, and in the main course, both the baked potato and the broccoli were only lukewarm. On top of that, the baked potato was only half cooked, and the broccoli was very small for the price. Everything was criticized, but if you're only paid attention to once you've finished the rest, then of course you don't want it again. Finally, after a long wait and repeated reminders that you wanted to pay, the items you complained about were added to the bill, as a matter of course. A credit was offered, but this was declined, which didn't exactly cheer the waiter up.

Unfortunately, that wasn't great today!!! We've enjoyed going there for years. The food has always been great, and so has the service. That's why I'm really sorry to only give it one star, but today's was truly substandard... I ordered a rump steak, and I mentioned medium rare. The steak arrived, well done. Anything can happen, no problem. I called the waiter and explained my problem. He just said, "Cut it somewhere else." I did that, and of course it was well done. He took the steak, came back 5 minutes later. WITH THE SAME STEAK!! And asked me if it would be better now? I asked him if he was serious. He shouted, "You wanted it well done, otherwise you'd have to order medium plus." And he did it so loudly that the entire dining room could hear it. Then he took my steak, walked toward the kitchen, and said, "This guy wants a new steak, but this time medium." It was already there before, but he has no idea anyway." Again, at a volume that all the other guests could hear... I then went up front and said I'd lost my appetite. My companion finished his flank steak (which was perfectly grilled medium), and we ordered the bill. My steak wasn't on the bill, but the gorgonzola sauce was. Well, I'm not going to argue about the 4 euros... When the waiter brought us the bill, he snapped at me and said he'd taken the steak off the bill, paid for it out of his own pocket, and it didn't bother him at all... As we left the restaurant, we apologized to the other guests for having to listen to the whole thing....

Good, inexpensive lunch. Friendly service. The seating is pleasant on the quiet terrace. We'll be back in the evening.

Very good food. Whenever I'm within 50km of Dalgow, I stop in for lunch! I recommend it to everyone.

Went there with 15 people for my 🎁90th birthday on September 1, 2025. A seamless flow from start to finish, no complaints. Which isn't a given these days! And especially the waitress #1 s.pic 👍✨️ The food/meat/side dishes were top-notch

A very nice restaurant, and we were also very satisfied with the service. Our server was number three, but I think the other staff are just as good.

I liked it. It's an old train station, but despite the trains, you can't hear anything. My meal was drowned in gravy, which was a shame. The meat was very tasty, though.

We were just there for lunch, or rather, wanted to be. After waiting 25 minutes for a service employee, we left. This place is completely overwhelmed, instead of being grateful that DaDö is always full thanks to the DB construction site. Absolute amateurs at work. We then went across the street to Tom's House and got faster service.

On July 20, 2025, between 5:15 p.m. and 6 p.m., my wife and I visited Steckhause in Dalgow. We ordered 200g entrecote with potatoes and cordon bleu. According to the menu, the entrecote is supposed to be tender, but unfortunately the meat was tough and of poor quality. The cordon bleu was a tiny portion. The potatoes tasted like they had been deep-fried for the second time. Overall, we were totally disappointed; the quality had declined considerably.

There were three of us. At the entrance, we were told that the outdoor area was closed in case it rained. Then we were allowed to stay outside, but we should hurry. The waiter just shook his head. He treated us like lepers. Other guests were treated the same way, but were also allowed to stay outside. At the end, he threw the tip on the table and left. Great service. Keep it up...

Very tasty fillet steak in a decent atmosphere. Not exactly cheap, but everything has gotten more expensive.

A truly fantastic restaurant with friendly staff and delicious food served quickly. Especially at lunch, you won't find anything better in terms of value, and the ambiance is also impressive with its Argentinian flair.

Top meat, very friendly service

In my opinion, a very good steakhouse. We were there recently for lunch. The steak was grilled to perfection, the salad was crisp, and the potatoes were just right. We had a pleasant outdoor seating area. We've been eating there for years.

Great atmosphere next to the train station in Dallgow! And the meat is amazing! The curing cabinet and the week's specials greet you in the entrance area. As you take a seat, you're immediately politely informed about the menu and thus given perfect advice. Everything arrived exactly as requested and at the same time. Unfortunately, I only took two photos. We'll be back next time we're in the area!

We stopped here spontaneously for lunch on a recommendation and would gladly return. Delicious steaks, baked potatoes, and other dishes at very reasonable prices—both at lunch and at regular prices. The staff is very attentive and friendly—which made us feel particularly comfortable. The atmosphere on the terrace is very relaxed despite its location near the (bus) station.

We go to Casa Toro Negro regularly, and we've never been disappointed. The steaks are incredibly delicious and prepared exactly how you like them, from rare to well-done. The service was once again excellent. We were shown to our table and immediately handed the menu and asked for our first drink order. Pickled olives soon arrived as a welcome from the kitchen. The appetizer and aperitif weren't long in coming. For my main course, I had the English-style entrecôte on a hot plate with baked potatoes and sour cream. What a treat! The waiter came by every now and then and asked—absolutely unobtrusively—how we were doing. We finished with a Sambuca. So, another very enjoyable evening, and it felt like we weren't in a restaurant, but rather a guest with friends. Thank you for that, and see you next time.

Unfortunately there are very few vegetarian dishes and no vegan dishes at all. When it comes to starters, you can order the tomato cream soup without cream as a vegan starter and the champions with garlic oil, that's it for vegan versions. One or two salads with yoghurt dressing are vegetarian and a few main dishes are also available with reduced meat content. All in all, it's a bit unsuitable if you don't want to eat dead animals.

Very good service, funny service and great food.

Unfortunately, after changing the menu a few weeks ago, the quality of the food has noticeably changed. The beef steaks were still very good, the sauces were clearly convenience products and very fatty, at least the mushroom sauce. The side salad was also better, yesterday's cordon bleu seemed fried, maybe you shouldn't expect too much given the price. The service isn't up to snuff anymore, so we as a family don't want to eat here anymore for the time being.

If you want to eat a steak, you're in good hands here. There are certainly better steakhouses but this one is not bad and is on my way. Overall, I can recommend this house.

It's a very nice restaurant. I often go here with good friends and we have always had a good time and delicious food. Over the years, I've even celebrated my birthday twice and a Christmas party here three times. It is a very good price/performance ratio in the restaurant and the operator is very friendly. 😊

Very very very much decreased. Service makes a completely annoyed impression. As if you weren't wanted. My drink was non-carbonated and tasted more like light instead of regular cola. When I asked to ask again, the answer was, that is the normal one. But not edible. I ordered a steak medium. Medium was almost through. I kindly asked to remake it because otherwise it tastes like shoe soles. That was also done. However, with warmed fried potatoes and the same pieces of herb butter as before. The second attempt was Rare Medium, which wasn't okay either, but due to the things mentioned above I didn't have the time or desire to have it remade again. Overall, a very disappointing result. Things definitely used to be better. From the service and the food. I won't come back even though I've probably been there 30 times.

When we entered the restaurant the statement was you can sit wherever you want. OK, there were enough places available. There were 4 of us and we ordered steaks and a children's schnitzel. My personal order was a 300g fillet steak with fried onions and herb butter with fried potatoes. I liked the fillet steak, but I wasn't asked at all how it should be grilled. But it wasn't a fillet steak. The herb butter about 15g for €2 is completely overpriced. The fried onions 4€ were not fried onions, but just onions fried in the pan that tasted like nothing...unfortunately, given the quantity, it was at most a small farmer's onion, so it was completely overpriced. For a bill over 120€ for 4 people...................no THANKS not again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It was busy, but the waiters still served very friendly and as promptly as possible.

Wir waren sehr oft in diesem Restaurant,aber das Niveau sowie das Essen hat unheimlich nachgelassen.Hohe Preise ,aber nichts auf dem Teller.Die Teller mit den Speisen sind sehr übersichtlich,ohne Salat und nicht schön anzusehen.Ausserdem war die Kellnerin gleich per du ,was wir sehr unangenehm empfunden haben,da wir sie nicht kennen und sie uns nicht kannte.Also unser Fasit von heute ist ,das wir dieses Restaurant erstmal nicht wieder besuchen werden.

The food at Casa Toro Negro is really really good – fresh, tasty and with a lot of taste! You can tell that quality counts here. However, the service could be a little better, as it sometimes takes a little longer or is not quite as attentive. Still, it's definitely worth eating here!

Was there with my family. View, almost everything is great. Ambience good, service very good. My daughter had the entrecote, my wife had the fillet steak, my son-in-law and I had the T-bone steak. (everything was ordered medium) We got a perfect entrecote that was also recommended by the waiter for my daughter, my wife got a perfect fillet steak and then unfortunately the disappointment. The T-bone steak (both of us) was actually a club steak, completely cooked through, tough and dry. Sure, I could have returned it but I hate WASTE. The dessert apple strudel was essentially ice cold. We also told the waiter this. In the end, the evening was worth €300 without any discount, including a tip. A positive thing to mention is that white bread and pickled olives are on the table as a welcome. Oh yes, the Cuba Libre is also great.

ADDENDUM: 2nd visit on 01/10/25👍👍👍👍 The food was great, the service was excellent, and an all-round nice afternoon. This time I also gave a tip (10%). So sometimes it's not too late to make a good impression!!!! Food OK. Pre-ordered table in the unheated next room. The waiter forgot 2 out of 6 meals, the herb butter was only brought when requested, the steak was almost eaten, the drink order was brought slowly, complaints were loudly disputed by the (apparently overwhelmed waiter). No apology for the bad service, instead just complaining because there was no tip. Food ok, service terrible. It's a shame, the girls in service made a nice impression.

I cannot recommend the restaurant! It doesn't offer any comfort. The beef ribs were served on a board with a pot of honey, which just doesn't go together! Furthermore, there was hardly any meat on the bones and it was hard and dry. For a steak house that grills daily, I would have expected it to be served juicy and slightly off the bone. Unfortunately €25.90 was a waste of money. I won't go there anymore.

The restaurant was really full today. The food was great and exactly as ordered. We had to ask about a few things but that didn't bother us. The waiter's incredibly humorous manner also sweetened the evening. All in all, the food is always great, the atmosphere is family-like and questions are always answered, even in the most stressful situations. I always enjoy going there and already know what I'll take next time.

I dined a few times. Avoid the mixgrill. It has no logic and no appealing taste combination. The beef steak is good. Service is good, reasonable expectations. In the evening, when it is crowded, there is a lot of noise. The prices are just right.

The waiter couldn't remember our orders and ended up charging us for sauces that we didn't order and didn't get. As a highlight, we were charged 60 cents per small ketchup bag, which I felt was a real indictment of the restaurant. We ate and drank with 8 people for several hundred euros. The store was packed with sales, so it can't be because, in my opinion, you can expect something like that It's part of the good manners of a restaurant that such little things are included with fries.

We spontaneously came across this restaurant via Google and were very happy about our “find”. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was good and the service was attentive and friendly. We were served by an older gentleman who created a special atmosphere with his manner. We would love to come back!

We had planned a cozy evening with colleagues today, the table was booked, when we arrived we had the feeling that we had forgotten it, the service took a long time after we had placed our order, then ksm our food, unfortunately for some of them The special order was missing, I chose chicken breast Español, it was anything but Spanish, I have never eaten so badly, the food was so carelessly prepared and the taste was simply very bad. We also didn't ask if we wanted drinks, although our glasses were empty. I know this steakhouse from before, the quality and service were extremely impressive. The quality and service definitely need to be worked on. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this restaurant.
