Casa Pedro in Solingen

We were there for a business event and had lunch. All the dishes were absolutely delicious.

A fantastic Spanish restaurant. The entire place is beautifully themed while still feeling warm and cozy. My colleagues were very pleased with the wine selection, and as a Chilean who loves the products of my own coasts, I can say the Merluza a la plancha was perfectly seasoned and sautéed. Truly an excellent dining experience.

Disappointing food, and a poor host! We ate at Casa Pedro for the first time last night (10 elderly ladies). We all ordered only one main course to leave room for dessert if needed. "What, you don't order appetizers?" the chef asked reproachfully, before clearing away the set appetizer plates. There was no greeting from the kitchen—we would have expected some bread with a dip, especially since the wait was about 45 minutes. I ordered the "Cold and Hot Appetizers" platter. When the platter arrived, it contained: - 3 squid rings (well cooked, unfortunately too salty) - 3 fried anchovies - 1 half grilled crab (very small) - 3 thumbnail-sized, fried, unfortunately dry and over-seasoned pieces, presumably chicken - Half a canned artichoke - Half a canned pickled bell pepper - 4 olives - 8 capers No bread, no dip. Honestly, that was really disappointing. The menu lists such great cold appetizers like cheese, ham, melon, bread with ajoli – and then I get capers. And all for €15.50!! The lady to my left had pork fillet in red wine sauce with potato gratin and vegetables. She said it tasted delicious, but the portion size was quite manageable (the piece of potato gratin was a cube of about 3 x 6 cm), and maybe a heaped tablespoon of spinach. When we finished eating around 8:45 p.m., we wanted to order another coffee – which was declined because the coffee machine had just been cleaned. Dear team at Casa Pedro: Do ​​you actually realize that you've lost 10 potential host families? And our regular women's group, too, because with such lack of hospitality, we'll go to a Greek restaurant next time – they give you bread and dips beforehand, and an ozono on the house afterward. I'm annoyed that I rounded up my bill from €22 (the bottle of water cost €6.50!) to €25. I really shouldn't have left a tip at all, given the disappointing appetizer platter.

A Spanish restaurant with Spanish service that's always up for a laugh (which takes some getting used to). The food and service are excellent! You can sit inside or outside! Parking is virtually nonexistent, as the restaurant is located in the heart of the old/historic city center.

Everything is excellent, from hygiene to comfort.

Super quality of food and great service

We visited the restaurant for the first time today and were very satisfied. The service was efficient and friendly, and the food was delicious. The steak deserves special mention. It was buttery soft and very flavorful. Today won't be our last visit. We'll be happy to come back.

5 stars plus! A touch of Almería in the middle of Solingen! An unforgettable evening at Casa Pedro! The mixed starter plate was already a delight and got us in the mood perfectly. The fish platter was the absolute highlight – fresh, varied and prepared with real Andalusian flair. We felt like we were in Carboneras! To finish off the sweet treat there was a wonderfully creamy Crema Catalana – heavenly! And the Andalusian caramel liqueur at the end rounded off the evening perfectly. Even the Indalo was present - a piece of home for everyone who loves Almería. Muchas gracias, Pedro – we will definitely be back!

Neben einer unfreundlichen Bedienung, hatten wir für sehr viel Geld eine schlechte Qualität. Zwei Salate A 8,50 €, Dressing Mayonnaise und nicht schmeckend, Blätter teilweise angewelkt, Aioli mit Brot zweimal A 6,50 € Brot war schon Stunden vorher geschnitten, Wein: auf die Bestellung des Haus Weines kam Rioja, teurer, Das Fleisch war nicht spanisch gewürzt und bestand aus Form Fleisch, das Pfännchen mit krabben liess zu wünschen übrig. Wir empfehlen dieses Lokal nicht weiter.

We had dinner there, had starters and meat and fish dishes. We enjoyed it very much. Service was ok. The dining room is quite small and the seating is tight, so it is quite loud when it is full.

We were there on a Friday without making a reservation. As always, it was very well attended (full). But we got a table for 2. The service and food was excellent, as always. The noise level can be a bit annoying. But there were probably also some company Christmas parties that day. But, always worth a visit.

The restaurant couldn't be better. In summer you sit in the middle of the historic old town, in winter in a family atmosphere in the half-timbered house. Food is great, I recommend the paella. Wine very good, and service with humor and competence. We always go there. Greetings m.

Mitten im romantischen Ortskern von Solingen-Gräfrath findet sich das spanische Restaurant Casa Pedro. Die Paella ist spitze, der Hauswein steht ihr in nichts nach. Die Einrichtung versetzte mich zurück in den Urlaub. Der Service war sehr aufmerksam, freundlich und lustig. Der Abend hat Spaß gemacht!

Schönes Ambiente, sehr leckeres Essen und freundliche und lustige Kellner. Restaurant ist in einem alten Fachwerkhaus im historischen Ortskern von Gräfrath. Das einzige Manko ist die Lautstärke im voll besetzten Restaurant.

Schönes Restaurant! Mit 2 Personen leider nur Tisch an der Toilettentür bekommen. Dieser war sehr klein, so daß nicht alles drauf passte. Wir sind nach der Vorspeise gegangen. Schade, da das ganze Lokal leer war, weil viele draußen saßen!

Grundsätzliches ein tolles Restaurant. Schöne Location und Atmosphäre. Teilweise aber sehr laut (je nach dem wo man sitzt) und vor allem kaum bis gar keine Angebote für Vegetarier und Veganer. Das ist nicht mehr zeitgemäß.

Erst erschrocken, weil so voll..." hätte ich bloß reserviert...!"...führte man uns in die obere Etage. Ruhig, aber dennoch vom Ambiente sehr ansprechend! Tapas-Platte als Vorspeise, dann Filet in Pfeffersauce, Kartoffelgratin und Gemüse...Alles frisch, heiß und sehr köstlich - dazu einen trockenen Weißwein. Ruhige, freundliche und routinierte Bedienung...nur Männer. Preis-Leistung absolut in Ordnung. Wir kommen wieder!

Wir waren seit langem mal wieder da und es war wirklich hervorragend. Vorspeisen, Hauptgerichte, der Service und der hausgemachte Sangria waren allesamt top! Deswegen gebe ich ausnahmsweise mal 5 volle Sterne.

Im historischen Ortskern von Gräfrath, Speisen in einem alten Fachwerkhaus, mit urigen Ambiente, freundlicher Bedienung, leckeren Speisen zu humanen Preisen

Sehr leckeres Essen, gutes Ambiente, nur der Service könnte freundlicher und vor allem aufmerksamer sein.

Also das Essen war grundsätzlich gut! Keine Offenbarung aber nichts zu meckern. Auch bei dem Service war, bis auf das Warten beim Aufnehmen des Desserts, nichts zu bemängeln. Das Lokal wirkte etwas voll gestellt aber ist idyllisch im schönen Gräfrath verankert. 2 größere negative Dinge: Der Preis war wirklich gesalzen, dafür erwartet man mehr. Sei es noch aufmerksameren Service oder ein nicht vergleichbares Essen. Die Tapas waren wirklich überzogen. Das Dessert war viel zu flüssig. Also Creme Catalana war eher eine Sauce. Da ich leider nicht weiß, ob die Zubereitung so richtig ist, kein Sternabzug dafür.

Da das Restaurant regional sehr bekannt ist, wollte ich es auch einmal testen. Insgesamt war es meiner Meinung nach aber nicht mehr als zwischen befriedigend und ausreichend. Die Aioli mit Brot zu Beginn war gut, das Brot leider zu hart getoastet. Die Patatas haben sehr gut geschmeckt, die Pimientos de Padron waren viel zu ölig und die 6 kleinen Ecken Manchego Käse für 10,90 € unverschämt. Positiv fand ich das Estrella Bier aus der Flasche, mag ich sehr gerne. Service war doch eher unterkühlt und auch nur in Grenzen zuvorkommend. Ich denke nicht, dass ich so bald noch einmal wiederkommen möchte. Da gibt es in der Region durchaus bessere Alternativen.

Waren am vergangenen Freitag zu viert dort essen. Da überregional bekannt, sollte man reservieren. Wir hatten vier verschiedene Gerichte bestellt, die alle von sehr guter Qualität waren. Ein großer Vorspeisenteller hat uns die Wartezeit auf das Hauptgericht verkürzt. Sehr nettes und zuvorkommendes Personal und der Wirt hat am Ende noch eine Runde spendiert. Top, immer gerne wieder.

Nachdem wir vor einem Monat das Casa Pedro zufällig entdeckt haben und damals über alle Maßen zufrieden und glücklich nach Hause gingen, konnten wir unseren ersten Eindruck heute erneut bestätigen. Alle Speisen waren von wirklich hervorragender Qualität und auf den Punkt zubereitet. Wir waren begeistert von der Paella mit Erbsen und auch dem Fischtopf, beides Spezialitäten des Hauses. Als Vorspeisen können wir die unglaublich leckeren Oliven, die Shrimps im Biermantel und auch die Artischocken empfehlen. Dazu ein erstklassiger und sehr freundlicher Service, inkl. dem wirklich sympathischen Hausherrn. Das Ambiente war beim ersten Besuch mit damals temperaturbedingt noch möglicher Außengastronomie mitten im wunderschönen historischen Zentrum von Gräfrath ganz besonders. Aber auch die Innenräume sind geschmackvoll und ohne überzogen zu wirken authentisch spanisch eingerichtet. Die Coronaregeln, wie Händedesinfektion, Abstand benachbarter Tische, Stosslüften etc. hat der Hausherr persönlich und konsequent, dabei aber charmant und mit Humor überwacht. Wir haben uns sicher gefühlt, auch wenn eine 100%ige Sicherheit in einem Restaurant derzeit wohl nie möglich ist. Wir werden auf jeden Fall bald wiederkommen!!!

Wir waren zu viert im Casa Pedro. Die Atmosphäre traumhaft, der Duft nach spanischen Köstlichkeiten betörend...und dann unser Essen. Die gemischte Vorspeisenplatte war ein Traum sowohl in der Zusammenstellung als auch in den einzelnen Details. Crosse Gambas, feinster Serranoschinken, Piementos wie sonst am Meer und vieles mehr. Aber die einzelnen folgenden Gänge sollten noch eine dramaturgische Steigerung erfahren: Egal ob das Hähnchenbrustfilet, die Seezunge oder einfach nur einen Salat nachArt des Hauses. Alles war auf den Punkt. Nur die Nachspeise hatte noch einen Ausreisser nach oben. Die Crema Catalan war so gut, das der Franzose mit seiner Creme Brulé einpacken könnte.... Immer freundlich, zuvorkommend und begleitet von hervorragendem spanischem Wein. Danke für den tolle Abend. Wir kommen wieder und freuen uns schon jetzt darauf.... Ganz egal ob Tapas oder Paella das Casa Pedro ist immer eine hervorragende Wahl. Die Atmosphäre ist gemütlich und der Service herzlich und schnell. Was will man mehr?
