Casa Mexicana in Nienburg (Weser)

The food is ALWAYS delicious, there's nothing else to say. The meat was grilled too long for my taste. A fillet should be tender. A little tip to the cook: take the meat down 1 minute earlier. That's it perfect. Otherwise there are no complaints. It always turns out delicious

The room is mostly absolutely okay for the price. We were very satisfied. The only drawback was the pretty worn out shower head and the somewhat awkward process of getting to the room. Otherwise everything was good, we will definitely come back again.

As far away from Mexican food as Nienburg is from Acapulco.

When I eat at a Mexican restaurant, I expect Mexican cuisine and not hot pepper sauce from a bucket. I am disappointed and the service staff couldn't help me. I'm not coming back.

It couldn't be worse. A restaurant couldn't be less Mexican. If you want authentic cuisine, run far, far away. We had tacos that had very little to do with the term taco. Everything was frozen and there was a side dish of rice, which makes absolutely no sense with tacos. In addition, the food didn't taste like anything. After I asked what the food had to do with Mexican cuisine, I was told (quote): “But it has salsa on it.” A running joke in our circle of friends to this day. We absolutely cannot recommend the restaurant as it is an insult to Mexican cuisine.

Good selection, always tastes delicious

I stayed here for 1 week in the hotel for work purposes. The room I had was a very nice room, everything was clean. No hair, cobwebs or anything like that. The only disadvantage there was, the room was facing the city center, so there was always a background noise in the evening. And the parking situation is a bit tricky, so with one You can't get a pickup truck or something similar into the parking bays in the parking lot, everything there is very, very narrow due to the construction. I also had dinner in the restaurant twice. Depending on the region, the prices are a little higher than at home in the Harz. But the portions are great and it tastes fantastic. Big praise here for the kitchen. Dad's Spanish beer on tap also tastes very good. The staff is always very friendly. The breakfast is also very, very plentiful and filling, for a perfect start to the day. All in all, I can recommend it with a clear conscience.

In the guest house on the 2nd floor: Skylight in the bathroom was not allowed to be opened, ventilation via the bedroom through the small window, which could not be opened completely. This window is also high so that it is more of a lookout. Otherwise, the food downstairs in the restaurant was good and so was the breakfast. Conclusion: The price of 99 euros for the room is excessive and, in my opinion, not justified.

Particularly nice staff, great location, both indoors and outdoors. The beer is highly recommended and the starters are well prepared and plentiful. We go to the restaurant at least once per stay in Nienburg. We only visited the restaurant.

The price is a bit higher. 0.4l apple spritzer for €5.50. Food quite ok, but nothing special. Nice, cool indoor garden. Ambiance, of course Mexican. Service, oh well. Check out the website.

Want to be Mexican. Zgnr sauce from the bucket, the "Mexican rice" was sprinkled with paprika powder and mixed with seven pieces of frozen vegetables. That was nothing, I can't recommend it.

We visited the restaurant and were very satisfied. The dishes were very tasty and the service was very friendly.

Simple, noisy rooms. But they were very clean and tidy. The accommodation is approximately 1 km away from the restaurant. In the morning from around 7:00 a.m. garbage collection, drinks delivery and cathedral bells took turns, making it impossible to sleep in comfortably. The hostel can't really do anything about that. Bicycle storage available! We didn't have breakfast. There was no minibar either!? In our opinion, the price is too high.

Easily overlooked in a side street, the restaurant surprises with successful, fresh dishes and side dishes. There are outdoor seats available both in front of the restaurant and in the back. The toilets are clean and obviously renovated.

A really simple but very nice hotel, rooms are tidy and really okay for the price. The breakfast/food is reasonably priced and tastes fresh for quick preparation. As for the hotel, it's nothing for people who like it quiet because there's a sports bar right across the street because it can get really loud until 1-2 a.m. but I didn't mind

I was at the restaurant for lunch on a Friday afternoon. "Restrained" service (and also an emotionally overwhelmed lady from the service - probably also due to her additional work for the hotel!?!). I had to wait a long time for my schnitzel with fries, had to pay for a 'thimble' ketchup without any prior notice and in the end I had to wait almost 1/2 hour to pay. .....I probably won't be eating there again anytime soon :(

Delicious food, good location in the middle of downtown Nienburg. We sat outside and unfortunately the waitress only came by briefly at the beginning to hand out the menus and take the order, but then unfortunately not at all, hence the deductions for the service. The food was good, the hotel was unfortunately fully booked, so I can't say anything about the rooms. Priced in a higher category, but (still) within reasonable limits.

When we arrived we were pleasantly surprised, but we almost turned back 🙊 The service was nice and courteous. We were woken up early at 12! by the service staff, which is why we only gave it 4 stars. And now for the negative aspects 😡 The room design was very questionable the toilets !paper! It didn't feel nice in the bottom, that's why I got bleeding from my *****, not very nice, I mean, some people like it, some people don't. I heard voices during the night, I think that was La Llorona. I still fell asleep well, I'm happy I can only recommend it for your next visit

Review for the hotel stay. Beautiful, newly renovated, spacious rooms on the ground floor and 1st floor. Very good cleanliness, quiet location. There is storage space for bicycles in the enclosed courtyard next to the rooms. Friendly, helpful staff. Breakfast is served at the table in the restaurant.

We stayed there overnight on our bike trip and also ate there. We were welcomed very friendly. Storage space for bikes available. Located in the middle of the city. Rooms clean and tidy. Food was very, very tasty 😋. To recommend.

A gem in Niumberg, Germany. The food was incredibly delicious, when you go to the restaurant you are immediately transported to your native country, although I am from Colombia I must say that I felt at home. The music and all the atmosphere makes it simply an unforgettable experience. Super recommended

A nice restaurant with authentic food. The price ratio is okay and the ambience is pleasant. In addition to traditional dining, you also know how to prepare a steak properly.

First of all, I was only there to eat with my wife and thank you again for allowing our dog to come with us. At our time it was between 2:30 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. and there wasn't much going on in the restaurant. So I can't complain about the waiting time. We were served quickly and the drinks and food we chose came very quickly. My wife ordered a nacho plate with cheese gratin and crispy fried chicken wings with fries, salt sauce and a small salad. I ordered a Mexican bean soup and chimichanga. The starters were tasty and well served. I and my chimichanga (see picture) were also very happy with the main course. It was freshly prepared and tasted very tasty. My wife, on the other hand, was not happy with her main course. She didn't like the chicken wings at all and said she was glad she had the fries because otherwise she wouldn't have eaten any of the main course. The salt sauce was too spicy for your taste, although it was too spicy for your taste, but I see it as more of a personal feeling. The chicken wings looked like they were straight out of a bag, which you can also get from Rewe and Co. At a good 18 euros, the dish in this edition (see second picture) was, in our opinion, completely overpriced. Since in the end only the fries were eaten and the rest went back, we would have been happy if the price had only been calculated for the cost of the lunch menu for your dish and I also think that a price would be 11 to 12 € would also be completely sufficient. All I can say about the ambience is that the rooms were very stylishly furnished and designed to match the Mexico theme. There is a lot to look at and from my point of view a nice feel-good atmosphere has been created. Basically, I can only rate this place positively, with a slight deduction due to the one meal. Visited for a meal and was really pleasantly surprised, a bit noisy, but there are also quiet corners, the food was very good and surprisingly a lot. So you should think carefully about whether it will be 3 courses; it might make sense to share a starter. We liked it and will definitely come back

We celebrated our wedding here in a small group. The food and drinks were great. The service was a 10/10. Everything went well and we had a great day! We would definitely like to come back! :-)

Casa Mexicana is rather small but comfortably furnished. As a starter I ordered nachos with tuna and minced meat with jalapeños. It was very delicious. For the main course I ordered a steak. Unfortunately my steak was too tough. I ordered a burrito to try and it was okay. All in all I would give it 3 stars. I thought the whole thing was too overpriced. For me it's not worth going there again.

We ate on Saturday evening. The food was delicious and arrived super quickly. The drinks took almost as long. The range of special dishes is great for children. However, I find the prices for kids menus unreasonable compared to main courses. The occupancy rate is high and there is a corresponding background noise.

Booked spontaneously and got a nice room. The reception was friendly and there was also a suitable parking space. The room was clean and well maintained. The dinner was very tasty.

Wir haben Samstag zu Mittag gegessen. Ausdrücklich von der Mittagskarte bestellt ( mein Mann hat es der Bedienung gesagt). Es erfolgte kein Hinweis, dass es am Samstag keinen Mittagstisch mehr gibt. Entsprechend teuer dann die Rechnung. Die Bedienung hätte uns bei der Bestellung darauf hinweisen sollen. So sind verärgerte Gäste gegangen, die nicht wiederkommen.

Wir haben unsere Weihnachtsfeier hier gefeiert. Das Essen war wie immer spitzenmäßig und das Personal sehr sympathisch und aufmerksam. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Excelente todo. La recepción para el hotel cierra a las 11:00 pm, pero llamamos y nos esperaron pasada esa hora. Siempre fueron muy amables, y la atención fue personalizada en todo momento. La habitación estaba muy bonita y limpia. El desayuno espectacular.

Wir waren nicht im Hotel, sondern haben zu Abend gegessen. Unser Hotel lag fußläufig nicht mal 1 Minute entfernt und bot kein Restaurantbetrieb an. Das uns empfohlene Lokal war uns zu weit weg, da wir nur noch essen wollten. Ansonsten tolles Essen, frische Zutaten, sehr gute Cocktails; ein gelungener Abend ohne einen Tisch vorher zu reservieren. 👍

Wir waren heute mit der Familie zum Essen im Restaurant und haben sehr gut gegessen. Nachdem wir uns am Tisch gesetzt hatten mussten wir ein wenig warten bis jemand kam und die Getränke und das Essen aufgenommen hat. Aber dann ging es sehr schnell mit den Getränken und der Vorspeise. Essen war sehr reichhaltig und lecker. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Das Ambiente war gut, das Essen soweit auch. Nur das Fleisch war etwas trocken.

Das Essen und der Service sind super! Ein besonderes Highlight für mich sind jedes mal die Schalen für die Salatbeilage, da diese aus einer essbaren Tortilla bestehen. Ich bin echt kein Salatfan, aber hier esse ich ihn jedes mal auf, weil ich die Schale so lecker finde! Für die Eltern: Kinderhochstühle sind auch in ausreichender Anzahl vorhanden. Über die Hotelzimmer kann ich leider nichts sagen, da wir im Nachbarort wohnen und hier nicht übernachten.

Mega lecker und auch die Auswahl ist spitze. Da ist für jeden etwas dabei. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Waren schon zum zweiten Mal da. Zimmer sind groß und sauber. Personal freundlich, Lage Top. Die Bar abends ist auch ein Besuch wert.
