Oh yes. There's a great buffet during the week. From 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. 👍🏻Simply delicious and for €15. With soup, salad, and a changing dessert. Or for €10, no frills. A plateful to the brim 😅 No need to make a reservation. Great for spontaneous gourmets...

Once and never again! We were there on Saturday evening with a group of 14 people as a registered group. Due to the number of participants, a reduced menu was agreed upon in advance. So far, so good. But... the menu didn't include a single starter, soup, or dessert. Some members of the group wanted to order soup. This was declined on the grounds that it would hold up the kitchen for 50 minutes. I've rarely heard such a lousy excuse. They pointed out that if you wanted to order soup, you should sit outside in the beer garden. The option to change the side dishes (fried potatoes instead of fries) was also rejected. The laugh – all the side dishes came in separate bowls. Why they stubbornly insisted on ordering all dishes only as they appear on the menu is beyond me. The question of whether you could possibly order dessert afterward was, who would have guessed, also denied. In terms of inflexibility, the restaurant gets 10 out of 10. I've never experienced anything like it. As for the food: the dishes were delicious, but unfortunately not filling. All plates were empty except for the last decorative lettuce leaf, and part of the group wasn't full. A real shame! Criticism was rudely dismissed by the manager. He even loudly gossiped about the guests to the service staff. Absolutely outrageous! The wait for food was 1.5 hours! No apology or explanation from the staff, no bread or anything similar from the kitchen to bridge the gap... At least at the end, they offered us the option of ordering an ice cream sundae for dessert. Very gracious. But again, every topping like cream or sauce was charged extra. Therefore, I can't recommend this restaurant! If you have other alternatives, don't eat there.

Very nice location, right on the long-distance cycle path that runs along the Weser River. We were here for lunch and quickly found a seat on the terrace. Very friendly service. The buffet: €15 – truly varied and delicious. Includes a soup starter, wedding soup, and desserts. We'd be happy to come back.

An absolutely fantastic shop. The service, food, and drinks were truly superb. We were just passing through on our bikes and were absolutely thrilled. The portions were delicious and more than generous. Highly recommended! 👍

Today I ate at the Hasbergscher Hof again, and today it's not going to be a brilliant review. Because of our wedding anniversary, we wanted to enjoy delicious food in a beautiful setting and a glass or two of wine. So we booked a table for two, preferably in the conservatory. Since it was already reserved for a party, they could only offer us a table inside the restaurant. Well... as an alternative, we can sit outside. However, they don't take reservations there :-( When we arrived, all the seats outside were taken. There were only a few guests inside, and yet we were only offered a dark table for two behind a wall. The ambiance wasn't great, and we were also out of the waiters' line of sight. We could order, but no one came for a second drink or to clear the dishes. So we went to the counter to pay. There, we weren't noticed until later, and even though we were standing there, none of the waiters, who were joking around in the kitchen, took any notice of us. No one asked how the food was. No one asked if everything was OK. Just "cash or card?" That wasn't very inviting or appreciative. We simply didn't feel welcome. Sorry...that wasn't the service. The Hasbergsche Hof has so much to offer. View of the Weser, great food...but when the service isn't up to scratch, it's a shame!

A beautiful spot to enjoy. The food was very good, the service very friendly, but unfortunately, it took a long time for the drinks to arrive. I even had to ask again.

I was really looking forward to the meal, but then came the big disappointment! Two flavorless dumplings, the red cabbage was completely overcooked and inedible. Not a hint of apple or any of the lovely red cabbage seasoning. The sauce that came with it—it wasn't beer sauce—was bland and had an indefinable flavor. The meat, however, was excellent. Despite my criticism of the kitchen, nothing came! No apology, no possible compensation through a discount or anything similar. Once, never again!

We went to the restaurant for dinner today with a group of eight people, and everyone was very satisfied. The Sauerbraten and dumplings were delicious, and they even offered more sauce upon request. It's especially worth mentioning that the containers you can use to carry your leftovers home are sustainable. They're even microwave-safe (very commendable).

Well, 🫤 - the view is great and the location is fantastic. That was the good news. The food was mediocre. The salad was dried out and somewhat poorly presented, so we only tried it and didn't eat it. Oh well. The fries were okay. Mayo costs €1. The schnitzel or cordon bleu was very lonely on the plate. It wasn't entirely clear whether it was fresh or frozen schnitzel - in any case, the taste was average at best. A bit watery and bland, but ultimately edible. Oh well. The service was okay. Not really bad, but not great either. The waitresses came to our table and spoke to us in a friendly manner. But no one was particularly attentive, and we didn't feel welcome. Somehow, the ladies were a bit restrained and lacked fun or enjoyment - at least, that's how it seemed to us. Someone asked how the food was. In response to our criticism, we received the usual response that it would be passed on to the kitchen. Shortly afterward, she came back and offered us an espresso on the house as compensation. At least. But still: oh well. So all in all, the evening was okay: The location on the Weser River, the bike path, and the view are great. The food was just about okay. The service was okay too. Okay, that is. But definitely not more. Oh well.

We went to the buffet at lunch. They're currently testing the €15 per person offer. Those who can't eat that much can go to the buffet once for €10. Good selection and very tasty.

We went there with colleagues for the lunch buffet. A great selection. They keep refilling. Really good value for money. The salmon was simply delicious and not overcooked, despite being kept in a warming container.

I've rarely experienced anything like this. We wanted to reserve a table. The first server behind the counter didn't even respond to our greeting. The remaining three servers completely ignored me. I waited at the counter for a moment and, since I was obviously just a nuisance, left without accomplishing anything.

Best location in Nienburg. Right on the Weser River. A great lunchtime offer for some time now (hopefully at this price for a long time to come!!!). Very extensive buffet. Recently, they even offered venison ragu!!! One goes for €10. Outside on the terrace, you sometimes have to allow a little more time for service.

Very tasty, huge portions, and the staff were top notch. We were told that the kitchen would take longer to prepare the food because of the demand, but that was completely acceptable.

Thanks to the congested highway, we drove home across the country and ended up here for lunch. Choosing a restaurant made it very easy, as I love a Franconian Schäufele (a kind of pork shoulder), and the portion that awaited me eclipsed everything I'd ever had before. And it was so delicious that I had to eat it all. As soon as I feel like Schäufele again, we'll be back! Edit 7/13: We were there again today, and I confess: the Schäufele was incredibly delicious, but I failed! And we'll be back!

The buffet lunch was good. The next day, I went there in the evening for a drink and paid €2 (!!) for a bottle of tap water (!!). I mentioned that I needed it to take a pill, but they still charged me. I find that cheeky. You sit outside on rather uncomfortable beer garden chairs, but you can watch a beautiful sunset.

We recommend a lunch special for €10. You can also order a buffet for €15.

At first, it seemed a bit old-fashioned, but after ordering, we were pleasantly surprised and mostly delighted by almost all of the dishes and drinks. A definite recommendation!

An absolute disaster. The kitchen has a "freeze" policy, and reservations are given priority. It's unclear when you can order. The first restaurant we visited made us leave because we didn't get anything to eat. Never again!!!!

In Nienburg, there's nothing more beautiful than gazing out over the Weser River, the Weser Marsh, and the sunset on a sunny evening in the beer garden of the Hasbergscher Hof on the Hohe Ufer. When the friendly waitress serves a half-liter of dark, tasty Ulrich Martin beer and the anticipation of a delicious schnitzel builds, then the end of the day is perfect.

The building is a bit older, but the staff is very friendly and the dishes were all delicious!

Strange service. I just wanted to sit outside and drink a cold pilsner. I had to go inside to order one. I sat there for about a quarter of an hour for a single pilsner without the waitress even coming out. She seemed completely overwhelmed, even with the order. Eventually, I got fed up and left the place.

Great restaurant! We were a group of 7 people and came over spontaneously in the evening. Price performance bombastic. The service was also very friendly and all in all a nice atmosphere with German cuisine at very good prices. We will definitely come back here the next time we take a course in the city.

We have eaten here several times. Celebrations are great to celebrate here. Especially with a table buffet. The first conversation was great. Every detail is paid attention to here. The food is hot and very tasty. The selection is also great. If you can, definitely try the legendary Caiprinha Mousse, it is the most delicious dessert I have ever tasted. We celebrated our wedding here and everyone raved about it.

The service was friendly, but a bit overwhelmed, even though not all the tables were occupied... after a good 20 minutes, after non-verbal communication, we finally got our drinks, the food was ok. The ambience deserves 5 stars, so it raises expectations a little, which were not quite met for us.

Despite having to travel further, we chose this restaurant because of the “Schäufele” dish on offer. First of all, we were the first and only guests at 5:30 p.m., so we had a free choice of tables despite having made a reservation in advance. After we received the dishes we ordered, we ordered two more individual dumplings, as only one dumpling was served with each dish as standard. Furthermore, despite the relatively large portions, there was very little sauce. Here, too, we asked for two dishes if we could get more sauce. Unfortunately, these subsequent deliveries took so long that the egtl. Food was already cold… When clearing up the waitress asked if everything was ok. We then explained again that it cannot be possible to receive additional supplements with such a long delay. The waitress' reaction was: “I can understand that.” Whatever that meant. The surprise came with the bill. For each dumpling and each sauce ordered, an additional EUR 4.00 was charged! calculated. So that alone gave us 16.00 EUR! to pay more. We found this to be extremely excessive, especially since when we asked for “side dishes” it wasn’t even pointed out that these would be charged separately. Where is there something like that? We have never experienced this before and therefore cannot advertise for additional guests. Unfortunately we were disappointed with today's visit and the trip wasn't worth it 👎🏼

Overall I was very satisfied. However, I could imagine more attention in the service. What I mean by this is that when the service is served at one table, you can also take a look at the tables next to you to check whether you have any further requests or whether you want to pay.

Good food with a well-kept atmosphere and best location on the Weser.

Very nice to sit because it is directly on the Weser. I don't like the chairs that much. I would find lounge chairs or chairs more comfortable. But that's my personal opinion. I didn't eat anything there.

We were there for a family reunion and there was coffee for everyone. So far so good. At least until the settlement came to the table. It really didn't occur to me how you could force a 2-year-old to have a coffee flat rate. Since when can a 2 year old drink coffee? We touched on that too. The staff's response: “Unfortunately we have to charge you for that. Sorry." The food and other service with the ambience were otherwise great. Too bad. Due to the honest answer the restaurateur subsequently gave, I fully understand the understandable problem areas described in what is actually an excellent kitchen and a fantastic ambience on the Weser. In relation to this, I would like to absolutely recommend the food, in our case the Schäufle. We will definitely come back and then, like the last four times, we will enjoy and cycle back to Wunstorf satisfied! Here is the original review given: Were there for the 5th time after our bike tour. It was always Schäufle that motivated us to come to this restaurant. Unfortunately this time it wasn't really tasty. The staff was also a bit confused and couldn't convince us. But since we had already had an excellent meal four times, we were of course disappointed and would have wished for something different! It's a shame, despite the really unique location, right on the Weser.

The Haßberge Hof is a great restaurant with very good food, the most popular is the Kirche Schaufel breakfast, but the other dishes are also good. If you want to drink something special, there is a good Franconian beer. The ambience is very good, you sit outside with a view of the Weser. Seasonal food depending on the season is also very good, always come back.

Very large and tasty portions. Really very satisfied, I can only recommend it.

We both ordered a vegetable salad with chicken breast. Since I'm not a rice fan, I asked if I could get French fries instead of rice. After asking in the kitchen, this was answered in the affirmative. However, I had to order a spoon for my dish. The vegetables and chicken breast sank into a vegetable broth. I told the waiter that the chef should have either declined the request for fries or he should have poured a lot less vegetable broth over the salad. The bill then contained a "deviation A" (fries instead of rice) of €2 and a very small bowl of mayonnaise of €1. We definitely won't be going back any time soon.

The waiting time from ordering to eating was 55 minutes! Inattentive service! Food very tasty! Large group yes, but something like this can still be organized differently!

The food is rock solid and the ambience is excellent. Unfortunately the staff leaves more than to be desired. Furthermore, I find it problematic with a group of 15 people who pay one after the other and still give a good tip at the end to point out again that there is still €4 left for two small portions of ketchup and a tap water (!). One wishes for a little more gastronomic sensitivity.

Unfortunately we had to wait almost 1 1/2 hours for our food and the staff didn't really give us any information. The food itself was very tasty.

Yesterday we were there for the second time and I have to say the food tasted great. But the service leaves a lot to be desired. I found it audacious that if you wanted a small bowl of ketchup or fried potatoes instead of fries, everything was charged extra. I don't even know anything like that from Lake Constance.

The last time I was here was ages ago. We came here with friends on Saturday. We were lucky to get a table on the Weser promenade, so we could also enjoy the beautiful weather. The restaurant was well attended. The service was very friendly. It took a little longer for the drinks to come to the table, but still within the tolerance limit. We waited a while for the food but it was good. The cuisine is “good bourgeois” not a star cuisine but the price/performance ratio is right! The Schäufele is very good, but the other dishes are also delicious. The portions are reasonable. Conclusion Ambience: you sit outside almost on the Weser, inside a bit rustic Service: friendly and attentive Food: delicious and fresh Price/performance: fits If we're here again we'll be happy to come back

The restaurant was recommended to us by our hotel and I can only say thank you for this recommendation. The location is of course great - unfortunately it was raining when we visited, so you couldn't sit outside. But the restaurant is also very attractive inside. The food was very tasty and the portions were sufficient. The service staff was very friendly and the orders were processed very quickly. The restaurant is at a slightly higher price point, but it is definitely worth it.

The restaurant is located on the river Weser and has a terrace for outside dining directly facing the river. Inside the restaurant exhibits the flavor of an old mansion-like building. The service is friendly.

Good food right on the Weser We were walking along the Weser and happened to see the sign for Franconian “Schäufele”. It was clear that we would stop here and one of us would order the Schäufele. The meat was buttery tender and the crust was nice and crispy, as it should be. And because the asparagus season ends tomorrow, the second meal was also clear: asparagus with schnitzel. It was delicious and even the golden potatoes tasted delicious. Big compliments to the kitchen. The service could be a little better, there was probably some confusion about who was responsible for our table. The waitresses were all friendly.

At 8:30 p.m. for a reserved table of 10 people, 3 steaks aren't enough because there aren't any left. It's absolutely not possible

Yesterday we were at the Hasbergscher Hof for the first time and we were actually very excited. My husband, who is a native of Bavaria, really enjoyed the Schäufele, the sauce was to die for and the crust was great for nibbling. The dumpling didn't look homemade to me, but it tasted good. My schnitzel was 100% perfectly fried, very tasty, I haven't eaten such a good schnitzel in a long time. There was also a small colorful salad and delicious fries. I ordered a hollandaise sauce with it, which looked the same as the finished Lukull product and tasted the same, and they charged 4.60 for a small bowl, which we only saw on the bill. The price for this is. In my opinion, inappropriate and therefore 1 * deduction, for the otherwise very tasty food. The service was nice and attentive, the atmosphere was great. In summer you sit outside directly on the Weser.

The ambience - outside directly on the Weser - is really unique and very nice to enjoy when the weather is good. I would have liked a vegan meat alternative for the asparagus menu. Unfortunately, the vegan asparagus menu didn't justify €26 for me. Unfortunately it only consists of asparagus and potatoes/peppers; the amount of asparagus cannot be compared with the equivalent asparagus and meat menu. In my opinion, the price-performance ratio is simply not right. Unfortunately, without a protein source, it doesn't keep you full for long. I would like to see more innovation in Nienburg in the vegan sector 👍🏻🙋🏼‍♀️
