Casa delle Olive in Wiesbaden

I placed an order via Uber Eats. When I asked where my food was after about an hour, I was rudely told that he didn't have my order. After a lot of back and forth, I canceled the pizzas, and I still haven't received my money back. Really sad. It's over for me. Others want happy customers.

Very tasty pizza with a good selection. The service is also impressive across the board. I can recommend it with a clear conscience. Top!

I've never experienced such disrespect. Unfortunately, the pizza I ordered wasn't brought to the table. So I forgot my order and ate my daughter's leftovers. A little later, I was told it would be coming soon. I repeated that I didn't want it anymore, as we had to leave soon with the child. A little later, another quite unfriendly man came over and shouted at me, saying I was disrespectful and that he was talking to me. I didn't know that they assumed you had eyes in the back of your head and that every statement should be personal. Five minutes later, the pizza was thrown onto my table in a box. I'm still shocked by how rude and arrogant the behavior was. It's a shame the pizza itself was delicious. But anyone who treats their guests like that really doesn't deserve any! We definitely won't be back, and I advise others to go somewhere else where the pizza is tasty and they aren't treated so disparagingly!

A real highlight. The pizza was by far the best I've ever eaten. Crispy crust, fresh ingredients, and a flavor that lingers in your memory. After the bill, there was a complimentary limoncello, a lovely gesture that rounded off the experience. The prices are a bit high, but perfectly reasonable considering the quality. If you want authentic Italian food, this is the place to go.

I was quite disappointed because there was only one waiter who brought out the food, took orders, and collected the money. The food took over an hour to arrive, and we had only ordered two pizzas. I think €51 for two pizzas and two glasses of wine is way too expensive. The waiter, who is also the owner of the restaurant, wasn't particularly friendly when I asked how long the food would take. I find that very unfortunate. As a former restaurateur, I can say that there are several waiters in a restaurant, not just one who is responsible for all the tables. Each waiter has their own station, and not one waiter does everything, which leads to long waiting times. It's true that the restaurant was very busy, but since many people were already eating or had finished eating, they assumed it wouldn't take that long. Please don't accuse me of making false claims, since I was there at 7:53 p.m. and my food arrived at around 8:45 p.m. Aside from that, it's unfortunately very unprofessional to react like this and go for the budget, even though I expressed my opinion that the price/performance ratio for a pizza was too high. Please be able to accept criticism in the future.

I've often walked past it on my way. We stopped in spontaneously on Thursday. It was lovely to sit outside. The pizza was amazing. One of the best I've ever eaten, I'd say. A great idea with the wasabi/garlic dip for the pizza crust. You should definitely try it; it's not too spicy. I also really liked the Primitivo. Great, attentive, and friendly service. That's not something you can take for granted anymore. Four stars for Ambiente because I haven't even seen the interior yet. Feel free to correct me later, because I'll be eating there again very soon.

We really enjoyed it. Friendly, fast service, and a nice outdoor seating area on the terrace, which is level with the slope. The pizza was good, but for me, it's not a true Neapolitan pizza as advertised on the website/menu. The crust was too hard, the dough was too dry, and especially thick toward the center, and the sauce/toppings weren't moist enough for my liking.

The warm, Mediterranean atmosphere is immediately apparent upon entering the restaurant. But what truly made this evening special was our waiter. Outstanding service hardly describes it: attentive, friendly, competent, and with a charming manner that made the visit a true experience. He was always present without being intrusive, had the right answer to every question, and radiated a true passion for his job. You can tell that the guest is the focus here. The food? Simply magnificent. Every dish was a delight: perfectly balanced in flavor, lovingly presented, and prepared with high-quality ingredients. Whether appetizer, main course, or dessert – everything was of the highest quality. The balance between traditional Mediterranean cuisine and modern touches is particularly noteworthy. One culinary highlight followed the next! Conclusion: Casa del Olive is more than just a restaurant—it's a place where hospitality, quality, and atmosphere converge at the highest level. Kudos to the entire team, especially our amazing waiter. We'll definitely be back—and highly recommend a visit!

The pizza was good, but the salad with olives only came with two olives, which is very little. I wasn't satisfied with the chicken on the salad either. For the price, I had hoped for better quality. A drink was swapped at our table, despite repeated inquiries as to whether it was the correct drink. The young male waiters seemed disinterested. The young lady, on the other hand, tried very hard. We had to ask three times to pay. There is only one restroom for men and women, and there were no towels to dry our hands. The food is certainly okay overall, but the service was too impersonal and not hospitable enough for me.

The pizza is okay. The salad is a disgrace. It's mushy arugula that you have to search for on the plate. When I asked, I got a little more, but the staff was very unfriendly. The service and friendliness are anything but good.

Unfortunately, our visit to the pizzeria was not satisfactory. The pizza was heavily burned on the edge and base, which significantly affected the taste. When we asked and politely expressed our criticism, the waitress responded in a monosyllable and unprofessional manner, pointing out that this was “typically Neapolitan”. There was no explanation or accommodation from the service staff. On a positive note, there was a limoncello on the house at the end. The atmosphere was also pleasant. Nevertheless, the negative impression of the food quality and service behavior prevails - a shame, because the restaurant had potential.

Simply the best pizza in Wiesbaden

I ordered a salami pizza today that was delivered half topped and burnt. When I complained over the phone I was laughed at and the “boss” shouted – cheeky! Once and never again!

Today we spontaneously walked past the restaurant with three children and wanted to eat there. I spoke to the owner in a friendly manner and asked if there were any free places, but unfortunately his answer was very unfriendly and rude. No smile, no quick note, just a harsh “no.” Although there were seats available inside and outside. I found the interaction particularly disappointing, especially because there were children there. I had already been there once before without children and had imagined the visit to be much more relaxed and child-friendly.

Freunde haben berichtet, dass es im Casa delle Olive die besten neapolitanischen Pizzen gibt. Das mussten wir doch überprüfen. Auf der oberen Webergasse gibt es links die Pizzabackstube mit Sitzplätzen und auf der gegenüberliegenden Seite die Bar mit noch mehr Tischen. Etwas verwirrend, denn die Kellner gehen von hier nach da. Wir "landen" auf der linken Seite. Nachteil ist das ständige rein und raus, nicht nur der Kellner, auch die Fahrer der Lieferdienste. Wir bestellen 2 klassische Pizzen, diese sehen erstmal gut aus. Doch der Teig ist nicht durchgebacken, ist viel zu knatschig. Der Belag besteht aus viel zu viel Käse. Wir sind definitiv nicht überzeugt vom Geschmack und Konsistenz. Wir wissen von unserem Aufenthalt in Neapel wie eine neapolitanische Pizza schmecken muss!

The ambiance was very nice, and the food was excellent. However, I don't give the restaurant 5 stars because the service wasn't up to scratch. The staff were unfriendly, and I had the feeling they were trying to get rid of us as quickly as possible. Therefore, only 3 out of 5 stars for that point.

Pizza like in Italy: thin, fluffy dough with raised edges. The tomato sauce is fruity, and the fior di latte is meltingly delicious. Classic and original versions, with plenty of room for toppings upon request. The interior across the street is chic, and the service is truly friendly. In summer, you can sit outside in a rustic atmosphere. Currently my #1 spot in Wiesbaden.

There's a no-show fee of €13 per person who doesn't show up. Unless you cancel 12 hours (!) in advance. Are you serious?!

I had pizza at Chris Bianco's (Netflix Chef's Table) last week and I have to say Casa Delle Olive is in no way inferior! One of the best pizzas I've ever eaten!

Four of us had dinner here this evening. The pizza is really amazing! Quality, taste and service are all top. If we are in Wiesbaden again, we would like to come back.

We were here in July 2024 as the pizza is highly recommended. Our pizzas were very burnt, as you can see in the photo. The service said it was a traditional pizza, because it was because of the wood oven and the heat. We were hungry and only ate the inside part. In my opinion, they shouldn't have brought the pizza to the table like that. It's also an absolute waste of food if so much ends up in the trash. I'm still annoyed today that we didn't return the food.

Among the best neapolitan style pizzeria in Wiesbaden and in many ways a step above the rest. The quality is extremely consistent and worth the price. The crust is fluffy as expected with fresh toppings and well-balanced combinations. The unique flavor of the Speziale Casa Delle Olive Tonnata makes it a must-try favorite. Rotating specials keep the menu fresh. I have visited many times and never had any problems with service. Negative comments sound more like a problem with the reviewers than with the restaurant.

We recently had pizza there for the first time and I think it has one of the best pizzas in Wiesbaden. Not a long wait, good ingredients and very well seasoned pizza. The drinks were good, the staff was very accommodating and friendly. The price of the pizza is above average, but this is due to the high quality ingredients and is worth every cent.

Hands down the best pizza we’ve had in Wiesbaden (and possibly all of Germany)! So flavorful with an amazing crust that was just the right amount of crispy. I highly recommend the Ernesto pizza. Our waiter was wonderful and kindly spoke great English with us. We will definitely be back!

We had to wait a long time for our order to be taken and even longer for the pizzas to be ready - over 15 minutes. Unfortunately all three pizzas were burnt and the taste was disappointing. For a €15 pizza you expect more: very little cheese and even less sausage that was thinner than hair. The service was good, but since there was only one waiter, this resulted in the long wait.

It's a wonderful restaurant! Enriches the upper Webergasse with its very nice ambience and delicious food! We will be back!
