Carnaby Nudel Highlights in Dillingen/Saar

After we were seated and the table was very close to another and wobbled extremely, we politely asked for a new one. The lady to whom we described the matter was then completely unexpectedly cheeky, impudent and provoked for no reason and said that we could finally do something about it ourselves. I've never been hit on so blatantly and I would suggest a career change to the lady if she used such a tone after just a simple question. Of course, we left immediately afterwards. An absolute disgrace. Never again!

Lots of quantity, less quality. A smaller menu would be for the benefit of the guests and the restaurateur.

You still get something for your money. Kitchen is very flexible and service is very accommodating.

In any case, the restaurant offers something for everyone. There are menus for the little ones as well as those who are very hungry.

Yesterday we tested Carnaby in Dillingen for the first time and were very positively surprised by the good taste and the amount of food served. Above all, our two main courses, each a schnitzel variation with noodles, were really very tasty, the accompanying sauces were nice and thick and really fine with a good seasoning. In terms of quantity, the two high-quality dishes, as well as the varied, delicious side salad, were very generous at a rather reasonable price, so that overall we see a very good price-performance ratio here. We also enjoyed our two starters, bruschetta variants. Overall, the retro menu, which is reminiscent of the 90s and is a bit overwhelming at first glance, offers an incredibly large selection of different dishes on around 60 pages, including a lot of pasta and schnitzel dishes as well as salads, but also steaks, fillets, pizzas and other meat or fish dishes. The ambience of the large guest room is also reminiscent of the 90s, so the tables and chairs of this type could also be placed on the balcony at home. The employees were very friendly and attentive to us, and we were often asked whether everything was OK with us. The food was served to us quite quickly. Overall, we had a nice two hours here and can definitely recommend the restaurant because of the good taste and the relatively affordable prices. We would also like to be guests here again in the foreseeable future.

The “Rocky Salad” is highly recommended. A culinary experience for every palate. With feta cheese as a side dish, it gives the raw taste of the beef a refined note. Service is also great. Great store!

Had dinner with a larger group. Ambiance was nice. Service, I have to say, struggled a lot with us, but handled everything very well. Hats off to you for that. The food was fantastic. I wanted to deduct a star because some people found the food very spicy. This should be mentioned in the map. For me personally it was spicy and I'm not that sensitive to pain. All in all a very nice evening with great people, good food and drinks.

We are French and we had a good lunch. I chose a perfectly rare piece of beef. Well I had fries as an accompaniment which were good. I recommend for those who like German beer, Karlsbeg!

We had for December 17th. Have a table reserved for three people. The first impression was good. Christmas decorations and a nice atmosphere. However, the table was very inconvenient, right in a narrow place. That was very unpleasant. There were other tables in a more convenient location... The menu is very extensive. I ordered Spaghetti al Capone, 250 g. If I prepare 250g of spaghetti at home, I will really instead. There should be olives and anchovies in the sauce. When the portion came I was disappointed. That was less than a child's portion. When I asked, I was told that the weight is given when cooked. That wasn't obvious to me in the menu. The same thing happened to the others. I discovered two tiny pieces of black olives in the sauce, I couldn't see or taste anchovies at all. In general the taste was totally boring. The same thing happened to my companions. Shortly after eating, my stomach and intestines began to ache. My companion would then have to go to the toilet very urgently... Diarrhea. For me the effect started an hour later. To make matters worse, in a concert in the Dillinger Festhalle. I couldn't enjoy the concert anymore. I was happy to have reached the toilet safely. My intestines had to empty suddenly. I still had problems the following day. I absolutely cannot recommend the food. I hope that was just an isolated case.

I've been a customer for years. Food is very tasty and rich. A huge selection and you'll be really full. Definitely recommended.

Es wurden 25 Essen für eine Feier bestellt. Essen wie immer Klasse. Leider ist der Koch nicht in der Lage die Verpackungen auf DEUTSCH zu beschriften bzw. die Nummern des Essens aufzuschreiben. Die Essen mussten alle geöffnet werden um diese zuzuordnen. Also für Großbestellungen ist das Carnaby Dillingen nicht geeignet. Einfach schade, aber wir bestellen beim nächsten Fest in der Pizzeria Pachten.

Hello, we have often eaten with you and have always been very satisfied, except for yesterday when nothing was right. We were led to a table in the back with chairs that unfortunately didn't allow us to linger for any length of time. The food we ordered came, and with the steak and fries the very small plate was so overloaded that you couldn't eat without half of it being on the table. There was also no room left for the sauce to put on it. The second steak, which was also ordered medium, came with a raw piece of meat that we added again and everyone knows what a steak that was already on the plate and put back in the pan tastes like. Since it was so uncomfortable and the main course wasn't what we usually had, we decided not to use the bedside table and were out again after 45 minutes.

Excellent place to eat. A very large menu. Great vegetarian and vegan options.

I ate there twice and was satisfied! Staff were always friendly and food was always good! But today, October 24th, I was there for the third time and was a little disappointed with the food. Like the second time, I had the Rambo 3 steak with fries. The steak was just a little seasoned. The fries weren't salted at all and there was no ketchup or mayo. I then asked for salt and ketchup and got both straight away. At least without being charged extra. But things were better back then. Ambiance, hygiene, service and prices were good as always.

Wir haben dort als Familie mit 8 Leuten gegessen. Soweit sogut. Zum bezahlen kam die Bedienung mit diesem gigitalen Kassenbon und teilte meinem Vater die Endsumme mit ohne diese Summe zu erklären. Daraufhin habe ich um einen Kassenbon in Papierform geben. Das hatte den Grund das mir vor einigen Monaten schonmal 1 Getränk zuviel berechnet wurde und ich wollte nun wissen was aktuell berechnet wurde und siehe da, dieses Mal wurden 3 Getränke zuviel berechnet.Ich habe die Bedienung natürlich zur Rede gestellt und diese antwortete total ruhig und gefasst "ok das war ein Versehen, dann gebe ich ihnen das zuviel bezahlte wieder zurück". Ist das Zufall ? Ich weiß es nicht.....Ich kann nur jedem raten der dort Gast ist, sich die Rechnung ausdrucken zu lassen und diese zu kontrollieren.

Today we went to eat again after weeks. First the wrong food came. Three people could eat. Then finally the paprika schnitzel came. The schnitzel was frozen. The side salad with the house dressing was very good, the bruschetta selection was a disappointment in terms of taste, the individual pieces were extremely small, with the exception of the tuna version, there was little topping and without any kick. The individual slices were also difficult to separate from the paper serving on the plate; it would be better to leave them out, as well as the dry herbs as decoration.

Unfortunately in almost every dish 1 (gluten). When I asked whether it was mandatory to always write 1 in every dish due to contamination, the waitress said that the meat (chicken fillet Anastasia dish) was turned in flour. Question: why??? We went there to eat every now and then because we have a gluten allergy. We always ate the same food because it was gluten-free. Unfortunately, that no longer works. Too bad. As an allergy sufferer it's difficult anyway. The taste has also diminished.

Everything was ok except for the service again. This is the third time that we have had too many drinks added to our bill. Extensive, illustrated menu. Two outdoor areas with shade. The interior looks cozy. My pizza tasted like an Italian restaurant. The side salad consisted of several raw vegetable salads and the house dressing rounded it off. The meat was cooked to perfection. Requests for changes would be responded to in a friendly manner. All in all a good price-performance ratio.

Das Fleisch war unter aller sau für 35 Euro komplett verbraten sehne und Knorpel ohne Ende das war so trocken das mann es nicht ohne was zu trinken schlucken konnte die Zwiebeln und Kartoffeln schwarz verbrannt das war schon Das zweite Mal das es ungenießbar war

The address in Dillingen for decades. Even when I was young, it was always a meeting place for delicious pasta...

We really enjoy coming here and have been coming here for a long time. The food is delicious and the quality remains consistently good even after the change of ownership. Prices have risen significantly, but where haven't they? The staff is always friendly. Our criticism relates to the ambience: the former owner's toilets were spotless - there was never a lack of soap or paper. Carbaby was one of the first restaurants to have self-cleaning toilet seats. There was hairspray, deodorant and tampons in case of emergencies. None of that exists anymore. The automatic toilet seat cleaners are broken. Last visit no toilet paper and visible dirt and smell of urine. This should be stopped!!! In addition, two tables in front of the illuminated glass columns are too narrow; you can't sit there comfortably. We are always unlucky to get one of these 2 tables. Next time I won't take it, if there's no alternative we'll just leave.

We were there with a large group. Unfortunately it was very loud there and it was difficult to have a conversation. The food was good but nothing special. Price performance is also right, there is a lot to choose from. The service was catastrophic, we were served by two ladies. One lady was very friendly and attentive, but the other forgot something with every order and was very slow and unfriendly. She also dropped the cutlery on one of our group's clothes while clearing up. Of course, that can happen, but apart from a "sorry" from the waitress, nothing came. Unfortunately that made the evening a bit unpleasant. Reservations are definitely required and are best made early.

It's just a great restaurant. The quality of the food, followed by the service, is simply great. Everyone is very nice. And the most important thing for me: Lots of delicious vegetarian dishes.

The restaurant itself is somehow getting old, these “garden chairs” that you have to sit on are anything but comfortable. The service was ok so far. A plate of salad with fried potatoes and Lyonnais comes at a hefty price here and the Bolognese was one of the worst things I've ever been offered in a restaurant. This tasted so much like thyme that even my son, who loves everything Bolognese, didn't like it. The last time I was there was over 15 years ago, and the price-performance ratio was very good, but we've come a long way from that now
