We wanted to spend the last rays of October in the sun. Immediately after we sat down at a table in the sun, we were asked to keep this table free for 3-4 groups of people and to sit at a table for 2 people. Even after expressing our wish, we were not allowed to remain seated. Looking back, that would have been the moment when we should have just left. At this point I would like to say in advance: the table remained unoccupied during our entire visit. After we got the wrong drink, we also got the wrong pizza. The response to the tip is the comment “yes, you ordered it.” The restaurant was not willing to bring us our requested pizza, we should have paid extra for it. There was no way to dry your hands in the sanitary rooms because the dryer was broken and there were no towels. We won't be coming back.

We recently tried a traditional Neapolitan pizza at this pizzeria and it really blew us away! The dough was perfect, just like in Naples. You could taste the attention to detail and tradition in every bite. This pizzeria is definitely worth a visit if you want to enjoy real Neapolitan pizza!

The phone service is pretty bad so don't do that to yourself and go eat somewhere else 😱

I've been there twice so far. Once I had a salami pizza and the second time I had the truffle pizza. The salami pizza had so much fatty salami on it that the dough was just a sticky mass (but that was a while ago; maybe that has changed). The truffle pizza didn't taste remotely like truffles, even though there were large pieces on it. My friend tried it too and was surprised. There was no taste of the black truffle pieces and you couldn't notice the truffle oil either. What was going on there? But I ate half of the pizza because of the delicious, fluffy dough. It's a shame because the service and drinks were very good.

The three of us ate there. It's quite loud inside but very nicely set up and furnished. The pizza itself was very tasty, unfortunately the crust on 2 of 3 pizzas wasn't completely cooked through. Since there is a lot of edge, we unfortunately couldn't eat a large part.

My friend and I went there spontaneously after a day of shopping because I remembered that a colleague had recommended the restaurant to me. Unfortunately, the bottom of his pizza was completely burnt so it couldn't be eaten anymore. When we let the staff know, they immediately took good care of it. We didn't have to pay for the pizza and got a (very tasty) dessert and espresso on the house. The good service completely compensated for the mistake with the pizza and it was still a successful and delicious evening :) Maybe it was also because it was Monday, in any case we will give Capvin another chance and come back at the next opportunity!

We have rarely eaten such delicious pizzas. The Neapolitan donut for dessert was also a taste experience and really huge. The service staff were all very attentive and friendly. We would love to come back!

First-class service with a really friendly Italian lady (great accent)! I've never had a pizza like this before, I don't know what's different about the dough but it's really something special. I will definitely come again. The only point of criticism is the loud ambience of the restaurant, but that's fine for me and that's why it's still 5 stars.

Really a great place. We had great, friendly and humorous service. We had reserved a table. I think that's advisable because it was really very crowded. The food took a while to arrive, but it was really within the limits for a Saturday evening. The pizza was really a dream. We were given tips on what would go well with it, which was very nice. It was a bit loud, but that didn't bother me that much, it was just full. But we can warmly recommend the restaurant. The iced tea and the rhubarb spritzer were also tasty

Rating refers to a Saturday evening. After we sat down at the first table, we were asked if we could take another table. OK. The service staff is courteous and polite, but unfortunately not very attentive. A wait of more than 20 minutes for the 2nd round of drinks is questionable. After the appetizer (bruschetta) was quickly served, nothing came for about 75 minutes other than apologies that the pizza was coming soon. Bruschetta was good, but the bread was very tough. When we asked, the pizza came. A very good pizza in terms of taste. A great experience with the scissors. I would eat pizza again and again. End of the song: Without any discussion, they offered to accommodate us very accommodatingly. Therefore my recommendation: Do not make a reservation on a Saturday between 7:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. Rather later or sooner.

By far the best pizza in Bielefeld can be found here! Great Neapolitan pizza with super authentic and ingenious creations! Whether gluten-free or vegan, a great restaurant that caters for everything! Plus a great atmosphere and super great staff who put their hearts into it! However, this great restaurant has a problem when it comes to accessibility. A small step at the entrance covers the whole restaurant. Moving around in a wheelchair in a restaurant wouldn't be a problem. The sanitary facilities are not accessible with a wheelchair!

Just came from the Naples area and found the pizza here that looks as good and tastes almost as good as there. There is still room for improvement because it is a little too slippery. (Been there/tried several times now)

We had dinner at Capvin as a group of four people. Unfortunately the waitress wasn't very attentive. Our questions were answered irritably and only superficially and we were not taken seriously, even though there wasn't much going on. For the fact that we paid so much, the service was simply not satisfactory. Unfortunately, the homemade lemonade didn't taste good at all. The pizza was delicious. Unfortunately, it's not enough for the fact that you've come such a long way.

Absolutely delicious, just a must to go there and enjoy these pizzas.

The waitress (with an Italian accent) served us 4 girls last night. She was extremely unfriendly and reacted angrily to open questions and requests. This meant that we could hardly enjoy our food and were also very irritable. Even though she was super unfriendly, she got a tip from us and didn't even say thank you. a smile would have done it too! In any case, we will tell everyone we know about this terrible first experience in Capvin.

It's been a long time since I've had such good food and such friendly and courteous service. Even though it was full, our food came very quickly and the staff could literally read our every wish. The pizza was a poem; I had the feeling I was sitting in Italy and no longer in Bielefeld. I would like to say special thanks to the red/blonde employee because she made the evening unforgettable for us by giving my daughter a card (that I had given her before) that said she was going to be a sister again and we got one to celebrate the day 3 non-alcoholic drinks and a tiramisu on the house. I can only recommend everyone to eat there otherwise you are missing out. We'll definitely be back 🫶

We went to Capvin for the first time. We had a great time, the welcome was perfect, qualified staff. We were welcomed by Mrs. Maria, a fantastic, professional and very kind person. The food was excellent and of high quality. Starter, pizza and dessert. Everything was delicious. I highly recommend it.

Pizza with a disproportionately large/high crust. But the taste is okay. The floor under the decent covering is very thin and soft. I took most of the crust with me and briefly baked it in the hot air fryer at home. It went well with wine as a snack afterwards 🍷.

We reserved a table as a family of 5 at 6:00 p.m.! As a starter I had the burrata, which I finished in 5-10 minutes later! The guests who sat behind us had their pizzas and were eating (the guests came after us!) The guests who were sitting in front of us arrived half an hour later and were already eating! After asking, the waitress went away to check and didn't come back! The clock then struck 8:05 p.m. when the pizzas came to the table! The waitress was so cheeky that she asked for a tip despite waiting two hours! So no thanks! We had the food packed because the children couldn't take it anymore either

Pizza was amazing, very genuine Italian pizza found in Germany 🤩

Aperol tasted like water and unfortunately pizza wasn't as expected either. Visually the pizza looked good, but it didn't taste like anything and the tomato sauce was sour.

Undisputable 10/10. So far the best pizza I've eaten in Germany (and I've eaten many). The fluffiness of the edge is a clear 12/10. Crazy, really. The Nutella ring as a dessert was also incredible. I love you.

The two of us were at Capvin yesterday afternoon. Even without a reservation, we got a table in the outdoor area and our waitress was very nice and made a motivated impression. We ordered two pizzas, which didn't take long to arrive and to our surprise they were served with large golden scissors each. We had never cut pizza like that before, but it worked very well - much better than usual with a knife - and also had a certain entertainment value. I had a Margherita pizza with buffalo mozzarella that tasted just great. The dough was thin and fluffy, the edge was airy and crispy and the sauce and cheese were pleasantly spicy - a well-rounded affair in the truest sense of the word. In terms of price, our meal was on the higher side, but I found that to be appropriate given the high quality of the ingredients and the excellent taste. We really enjoyed our stay at Capvin and would love to come back here!

The food and service have always been great! American standards apply when it comes to tipping. Here, 10% or more is required on the device, which is intimidating. Yes! You can also tip 20 percent, but I want to decide that myself and you don't have to force it on me. Therefore ambience devalued

Fantastic! The juiciest pizza ever so far. Very delicious and very nice staff. I found the staff particularly authentic, as many answered in Italian. What I am a bit dissatisfied with, however, are the menus. Since they were written in Italian, it was hard to understand anything. Maybe the German could have been added underneath. In any case, I'm happy every time I'm there :)

My husband and I went for pizza at your place today. We've been here many times and everything has always tasted great. But today the pizza was too salty and didn't taste good at all. When we asked the waitress about it, she said, "I'll pass it on to the kitchen." We would have liked at least a small apology but nothing... Her statement was: "No one has complained today that the pizza was too salty." A little more friendliness would be great :)

We went to Capvin for the first time at the weekend after hearing a lot of good things. Since I have a gluten intolerance and they offer gluten-free pizza, I was really looking forward to it. I often go to Italy and gluten-free dishes are common there and always a pleasure. The atmosphere was great and the service was friendly despite the long waiting times. Unfortunately the gluten-free pizza didn't taste good at all. The dough was fluffy, but tasted sweet and bitter at the same time - really terrible. The tomato sauce was watery and tasted like pureed tomatoes, with little to no seasoning. I promised myself a lot but unfortunately it was a failure. My friends' normal pizzas tasted good, even if the tomato sauce wasn't really good either. Very unfortunate.

We had a lovely evening. Service was great, very friendly and in a good mood. Food was tasty and looked attractive. Drinks top. I was happy that salt and pepper were served, so my spice-loving self could really add more. Ambiance cozy and inviting. We'll definitely come back again. Thanks. :)

Modern urban restaurant. Fast, friendly service despite the busy evening market. Specialty: Neapolitan pizza. I found the edge to be too black and the dough too much like a pancake. The others thought they were delicious. That's how it is sometimes.

My new favorite restaurant. The food is almost like in Naples! Best pizza in the area. We always come from Paderborn when we long for Italy.

Contrary to our high expectations, we were unfortunately disappointed here. The lemonades are not recommended and taste very watered down. For me the taste was more like a cheap syrup and water mixture. For €5.5 I would have expected more. The sauce on the pizza was hardly seasoned and therefore tasteless, and the pizza dough was unfortunately still raw. Maybe we just had a bad day. A real shame.

Food is OK. However, a rude and patronizing service. You must not take a comfortable chair or sit at a table where more comfortable chairs are available. And then you'll be laughed at if you don't quietly accept this impudence. Does the employee understand who finances the wages?

I was looking for a pizzeria in Bielefeld that offers gluten-free pizza. That's when I came across the Capvin. Gluten-free is available for an additional charge of 5,-, which is comparatively a lot!! But it's a real shame that the dough we bought didn't taste remotely good and had a very unpleasant consistency. The pizza was cold and the topping unfortunately tasteless. It's a shame, I have the impression that not much effort has been put into the gluten-free version, because the "normal" pizzas look really appetizing!

You have to be patient here. Orders are taking longer than expected. I've never waited so long for an appetizer. There doesn't seem to be enough workers to meet demand. The special pizza with ricotta is not good either. I don't know if we would come back or recommend. A pity.

Ate “gluten-free” pizza here. On the one hand, it is prepared in the same oven, so contamination cannot be ruled out. Even talking about being gluten-free is worrying for those affected. On the other hand, it tastes bad, like an worn-out shoe sole. You even have to pay an extra €5 for this, which for me is not even remotely justified based on the quality. When we asked service (we actually had the pizza returned), we were told that a new pizza base recipe was being used. We still had to eat the now cold pizza. Of course the taste remains bad. Wouldn't recommend it to anyone looking for gluten free products.

Four of us were at Capvin's last night, we waited at the door for about 10 minutes, no one came to greet us. Then a girl came for the reception but she was absolutely distracted, overwhelmed and rushed. We weren't satisfied at all. We were told to wait if we wanted a table outside, we waited and got the table. We also waited a long time to order, about 30 minutes. The entire service seemed to be in a state of confusion, excitement and haste. Luckily we can't say anything bad about the pizzas and appetizers.

We cannot rate food and drinks today. Service, especially the reception, were completely overwhelmed or in ignore mode. We stood at reception for about 10 minutes, were registered but left standing. Only a barmaid noticed that my partner was heavily pregnant, immediately stopped mixing cocktails and seated us with menus. Then for 30 minutes nothing happened. People ignored us or told us they would come straight away. Then we left, which was only registered by the barmaid, even though the station waitress in charge walked past us empty-handed. It's a shame we actually wanted to see if we could invite guests here. We'd better leave that behind now. The service a few hundred meters further away with a monastic connection was much more coordinated and professional.

The furnishings are modern and tasteful, which immediately creates a pleasant feel-good atmosphere. The menu at Capvin is impressively diverse and offers a wide range of authentic Neapolitan pizzas. Every pizza I've tried has been a real treat. The dough was perfectly crispy and airy at the same time, just as it should be. The ingredients were fresh and of the highest quality, which makes the taste of the pizzas incomparable. Particularly noteworthy is the Margherita – a classic that is brought to perfection here. The customer service at Capvin is exceptional. The staff are very friendly, helpful and always strive to provide guests with a pleasant experience. They take the time to respond to individual requests and are happy to give recommendations without being intrusive. I felt very well looked after throughout my entire visit. The price-performance ratio is also particularly positive. Despite the high quality of the pizzas, the prices are fair and reasonable. Overall, Capvin Bielefeld is an outstanding pizzeria that I can highly recommend to any pizza lover. Everything is just right here – from the quality of the food to the service to the atmosphere. I will definitely come back!

Unfortunately the pizza was a bit disappointing. Good dough, good topping, only an extremely watery tomato sauce (and too much of it) was used. She turned the whole pizza into a soggy, limp mess. However, there is an extremely good espresso here that Bielefeld cafés should take a leaf out of. Beautiful from a hand lever portafilter machine, full-bodied almost like melted ice cream. Top!

There is NO gluten free pizza here. It's almost cheeky to get a (supposedly gluten-free) pizza here for an extra €5, and even the condition says that it "tastes very dry". Since the kitchen is open, you can see exactly how the pizzas are prepared. The “gluten-free” pizza is prepared on the same work surface as the normal pizzas. In addition, the toppings are taken from the exact same containers and no attention is paid to contamination at all. And then charging an extra €5 for a pizza that is not even “gluten-free” and tastes terrible is under no circumstances justifiable.

Terrific. I've been a fan of eating pizza regularly for years and I have to say that I've only known about CapVin for a few weeks. I've been there four times now and can now say that they actually have the best pizzas I've ever eaten. The dough is absolutely excellent, the variations with their respective toppings are of excellent quality. In addition, the service has always been extremely friendly and courteous at all times. There's really nothing wrong with CapVin at all. I even think the prices are absolutely reasonable. A great restaurant!

If you like really traditional pizza like in Italy, this is the place for you. We went here for dinner with the whole family (20 people). The waitress was a dream. Her cheeky and charming nature was enchanting. We felt totally comfortable and were very satisfied. The pizza was simply great. You feel like you're in Italy. The best pizza we've eaten in a long time. Even though there were so many of us, the waitress didn't forget anything and paid attention to everyone, especially the children.
