The food was tasty, the service was quick but the chairs outside were somehow uncomfortable. But the pizza was definitely delicious and I would eat here again.

The atmosphere at Capvin is really beautiful – very stylish and pleasant. We were warmly welcomed and escorted straight to our table. Unfortunately, the service at our table left something to be desired: We had to ask several times about both the menu and the drinks, which unfortunately delayed the overall process somewhat. The wait for the food also dragged on. That's a shame, because everything else was really a 10 out of 10 - the food was excellent, the atmosphere was great. A small note as constructive criticism: A clearer table allocation for the service staff could help here and make the stay even more enjoyable. We would still like to come back!

The service was top-notch. 15 minutes for drinks is OK. 15 minutes for 5 pizzas is OK. 45 minutes for dessert is not OK. When dessert arrived, I asked for the bill and was again ignored. New people came in, were served, and in the meantime, they even got drinks. 20 minutes later, you could pay and didn't even get a receipt. I think that was the first time in my life that I didn't leave a tip. The place was full, but a few more or fewer customers apparently doesn't matter here.

Yes, the pizza 🍕 was very good and it was original Naples pizza 🍕 which is very good 👍 and when I'm back in Bielefeld's old town I'll go and eat pizza again. If I lived there I would go and eat pizza 🍕 every 2 weeks.

My visit to this restaurant was a complete disappointment. I was told on the phone that reservations were generally not possible, but tables were suddenly reserved on site - how does that fit together? It seemed completely disorganized. The absolute highlight came when paying: the waitress simply kept my change without saying a word. No questions asked, no confirmation, just plugged in. This is unacceptable! Dealing with guests like this is a no go for me.

Unfortunately a very disappointing experience. We waited 1.5 hours for our pizza - a wait that is completely unacceptable, even when the place is full. When the food finally came, we were asked to hurry up in the middle of the meal because our table was about to be reassigned. There was no time left for dessert or a relaxed end. Yes, we knew our table was only reserved for two hours - but when the kitchen takes that long, you can't expect guests to scarf down their food in record time. This way of pressuring guests was not only unprofessional, but also extremely embarrassing and unfriendly. (There were 11 of us, mind you.) The service itself was friendly, but unfortunately the food was only average. Unfortunately, it's not enough to make up for such a bad overall experience. We definitely won't be coming back and can't recommend the store.

The truffle pizza tastes quite good, but less oil should be used. Furthermore, a person should be assigned to take people to the table. During my visit, I saw for the very first time that people had to wait in the hallway even though the first floor was half empty.

I'm in love with Capvin. They make the best pizza I have ever eaten in my life. The dough is unbeatable, Neapolitan... WOW. Pizzas aren't cheap, but it's a good excuse to splurge. The pizza tartufo (with truffle) is delicious. If you don't like pizza there are other things (salads, antipasti...). They are also popular locally for making good Aperols, in the summer they have a small terrace where it is very nice to have a drink. It's great to have dinner at whatever time you want, they have a wide schedule and you can also order takeaway. If you eat at the restaurant, they bring you golden scissors to cut the pizza. Very classic. 1 pizza per head is big, but you can always take the leftovers away in a box. I recommend 100%.

I made a reservation at 9:00 p.m. And even though I made a reservation weeks ago, I had to stand in a queue where only people who had reserved at 9 p.m. were standing in line. The staff had no system for placing the reservations and just picked people at random. Why did I reserve?

Reserved three weeks ago but couldn't get a table at the reserved time. Here, every reservation is probably only accepted out of greed for profit, despite the obvious lack of capacity.

A very good restaurant with delicious food

Capvin is simply amazing! We were already totally thrilled in Berlin, and the visit to Bielefeld was again a 10/10. The Margherita Classica and the Buffala were amazing - the dough was fluffy, the ingredients were super fresh, just really tasty. For dessert we had the Graffa con Nutella (to share), and it was a real highlight - sweet, but exactly what you need after a pizza like this. The atmosphere is really cozy and the service is super friendly. We definitely need more Capvin restaurants in Germany. Absolute recommendation for all pizza lovers!

I really like eating at Capvin. The pizza is simply fantastic and the dessert is also highly recommended! The staff is friendly and I always like to come back. The only small detail that bothers me is that when you come as a couple you often sit very close to other people. But I'm happy to ignore that because of the good food. 🥰

Food was whole and arrived surprisingly quickly. But you had to wait a little longer for the service. The ambience consists of countless Aperol bottles and an artificial tree in the middle of the restaurant. For the high price of the long drinks and the pizza, I think it would be appropriate to get something small in advance. Unfortunately, the Güldene pizza scissors were not in the condition you would expect from a restaurant like this.

Bruschetta tasted really bland and unfortunately the pizza dripped everywhere and was no better than other pizzas in Italian restaurants. It feels like 40% of pizza is just crust. As regular guests at Capvin, we expected to have a similarly lovely evening on New Year's Eve as usual. Unfortunately, we were disappointed. Entry to the party was at 10:30 p.m., but even though we were allowed in, the upstairs area was closed. The reason: “The Gold guests are sitting there and still eating.” The impression was of a two-class society. The wardrobe consisted of unattended Ikea clothes rails - not exactly inviting. The DJ didn't start playing until around 11pm after apparently having trouble with his setup. There was no welcome drink and snacks were only provided in buffet form after 1 a.m. Unfortunately, many guests simply grabbed it with their hands, which didn't seem particularly hygienic. At midnight there was champagne and sparklers, but there was little atmosphere after that. The DJ and most of the guests were outside, so there was silence inside - this is how we were “welcomed” into the new year. For €53 per person, we ended up only getting entry and a glass of sparkling wine. Compared to our previous experiences at Capvin, this evening was a big disappointment. We won't be coming back for now.

FEEDBACK New Year's Eve Party (Variation 2) The 4 of us have an entrance fee of around €53 (!) each!! paid & for what was offered, it was a complete disgrace! Check-in was at 10:30 p.m. There were no welcome drinks (as mentioned when making the reservation) The “DJ” was out there making phone calls the whole time until 11:30 p.m. - there really can’t be any talk of “music” here, if you don’t check the set-up beforehand at an event like this - then you’re out of place for something like that . At the beginning there was only 1 at the bar! Bartender - the shop was empty downstairs & you still waited at least 10 minutes for your drinks. In addition, there was language about “drinks for toasting included” - no attention was drawn to this - nor was anything distributed to all guests. The 53€!!!!! are a complete disgrace for such a bad organization. Especially the “buffet” that was offered was only served at 1:00-1:30 a.m. Sorry, but if you have no idea about event management, you should leave it at that and not take so much money out of people's pockets. Some people left after 10 minutes because it was so disorganized and boring.

Let's start with the positive: Good service, shop well decorated, BUT: Seriously, 15 euros for a pizza that consists of 85% unbaked yeast dough, topped with 7 grams of tuna, 2 rings of onion, 3 Capers and some cheese is a joke. Unfortunately, it was only after I had eaten what felt like 300 grams of crust that I realized that the “pizza” wasn’t even finished inside, so complaining was too stupid for me.

Went there yesterday for a “test meal”. For me the pizza tastes okay, but there isn't enough toppings on it because the edge is much too big. I mean, a lot of dough for quite a bit of money! The pizza is not "crunchy". The dough is very soft and the oven is probably way too hot because the pizza is quite "black". The value for money of the starters is questionable for me. Service is very much in need of improvement. Just “Italian” isn’t enough for me. Just google the pizza restaurants in Naples yourself. Apparently only one person on the upper floor is “allowed” to take the order and collect it (hence long waiting times!). Strange for me. We won't be coming back from Bielefeld!

The four of us sat at the window with a view of the Christmas market. The food came staggered and was partly charred black but tasty. The service went down......

Pizza mediocre, way too watery, The response to this was "we have some complaints today" - there was no drink on the house or something similar, and there was no vitello tonnato for the starter platter for two people. This was pointed out. The replacement: air-dried salami - by no means equivalent. Drinks only came after asking twice. The draft beer didn't have a crown but was more of a pint rather than a pilsner. Overall very expandable. Unfortunately, this is already the second mixed experience. I'll go somewhere else in the future.

We particularly liked the relaxed atmosphere and the friendly service. A small wish: a salad as a side dish would have rounded off the meal. Still a great place for a nice evening that we would happily recommend!

Well, the pizza calzone was still “medium”, just not my style. A lot of dough, huge crust, large amount of ricotta, bacon unfortunately with gristle, mozzarella in large pieces. The pizza was heavy on my stomach later. My wife initially received an underbaked pizza. Some of the dough was still raw. However, the Napoli pizza with anchovies and olives was A1!!! My only recommendation!! And otherwise? So far always very friendly service, Italian, very reverberant room inside and therefore loud. The prices are hefty. There are significantly better alternatives.

The staff is very friendly, the atmosphere is loud, but ok, only the pizza doesn't taste good at all - my subjective impression. Sorry. But the base was burnt - in 2 out of 3 pizzas, the dough otherwise tasted spongy, not crispy at all, there was so much topping that it was soupy... and the third pizza was a deep-fried one - was recommended by the service person... which tasted good not at all. Like a Berliner that had a slimy cheese filling with bacon in it. As I said - it's all a matter of subjective taste, but it wasn't tasty. When you wanted to bite into it, you immediately had the burnt smell in your nose and that then overshadowed the rest. When the pizza eater of the fried food was asked what it was like (there was hardly any of it missing, so almost everything was still on the plate). After hearing the honest answer that it didn't suit my taste, that was it. I would have expected that they would either a) refund the amount, b) offer something else or c) give you a drink... I know that from other restaurants... but it's not a bad thing, things like this are handled differently from restaurant to restaurant. The service was really friendly.

After half an hour there was still no one there to take the drink order. Food wasn't there after an hour. The view of pizza boxes in the lower part of the restaurant is not nice. The pizza was tasty, but not fantastic either. The tip was required. PS: After our complaint we were given drinks and apologized. So far, so fair. For us, it wasn't the furthest thing in the catering industry.

After about 2 hours we were asked to slowly (but surely) pay and leave. There was no mention of a time limit when making the reservation. Our tables were probably needed because the guests were already lining up at the entrance. The evening ended very abruptly. Pizza is delicious, ambience is good (you can still see the old, previous "megalomania"). Unfortunately, it is more important to want to entertain as many guests as possible in one evening than to give existing guests a nice evening. More reminiscent of mass processing à la L'Osteria. Too bad.

We came on Sunday and there were even free seats, there were four of us and we each ordered pizza. The problem is that pizza (of any kind) has very high and fluffy sides and for 16+€ you just eat the dough, of course (the sides) you don’t have to eat it, but in general the dough is like rubber. The restaurant is beautifully designed and the staff is super friendly and competent. The selection of dishes is more special, so you get more special pizzas that I haven't seen anywhere before. Therefore, a certain openness to fancy dishes is important and I would say it's worth it The lemonade there is particularly delicious 🤗

If you are looking for real Neapolitan pizza, this pizzeria in Bielefeld is the right place! In my opinion, they serve the best pizza in all of Germany: the dough is soft and well-leavened, with a slightly crunchy edge and a soft centre, just as Neapolitan tradition requires. The ingredients are of high quality and you can feel that each pizza is prepared with passion and care. The staff is always friendly and helpful, ready to recommend dishes and make every customer feel at home. Even though the place is often very crowded, with an advance reservation you won't have to wait too long. A culinary experience that I highly recommend to those who love authentic pizza!

Great atmosphere and great real Italian pizzas.

Food is extremely good, simply a taste explosion. Ambiance also solid. I just don't understand the service. For example, you have a bill for €16, you want to give €18, the waitress takes the €20 and says she doesn't have the right change and then simply pockets the €4. But the food is so good that I still keep coming back.

First to eat. We had imagined the taste to be more intense after the many positive reviews. Of course it's a matter of taste. The pizza didn't really impress us, at least in terms of taste. The ground at the edge was partly very black. Due to the large amount of cheese as a topping, we lacked crunch (everything was somehow too soft) and spice (maybe that's why you also get chilli oil served if you want!?). It was almost impossible to taste the other ingredients. Conclusion: If you like a lot of cheese and a soft base, you will enjoy it. We like it crispier and more aromatic 😊. But service was very nice and quick. But it was late afternoon.

Too bad! We wanted to spend an evening in the restaurant for five people and made a reservation online. On site we were supposed to sit at a table for four people. We asked for a larger table and were taken up one floor to another table four people! I also asked one more time what would happen, for example, to the table for six people that was still free. We wanted to spend the last rays of October in the sun. Immediately after we sat down at a table in the sun, we were asked to keep this table free for 3-4 groups of people and to sit at a table for 2 people. Even after expressing our wish, we were not allowed to remain seated. Looking back, that would have been the moment when we should have just left. At this point I would like to say in advance: the table remained unoccupied during our entire visit. After we got the wrong drink, we also got the wrong pizza. The response to the tip is the comment “yes, you ordered it.” The restaurant was not willing to bring us our requested pizza, we should have paid extra for it. There was no way to dry your hands in the sanitary rooms because the dryer was broken and there were no towels. We won't be coming back.

We recently tried a traditional Neapolitan pizza at this pizzeria and it really blew us away! The dough was perfect, just like in Naples. You could taste the attention to detail and tradition in every bite. This pizzeria is definitely worth a visit if you want to enjoy real Neapolitan pizza!

I've been there twice so far. Once I had a salami pizza and the second time I had the truffle pizza. The salami pizza had so much fatty salami on it that the dough was just a sticky mass (but that was a while ago; maybe that has changed). The truffle pizza didn't taste remotely like truffles, even though there were large pieces on it. My friend tried it too and was surprised. There was no taste of the black truffle pieces and you couldn't notice the truffle oil either. What was going on there? But I ate half of the pizza because of the delicious, fluffy dough. It's a shame because the service and drinks were very good.

The three of us ate there. It's quite loud inside but very nicely set up and furnished. The pizza itself was very tasty, unfortunately the crust on 2 of 3 pizzas wasn't completely cooked through. Since there is a lot of edge, we unfortunately couldn't eat a large part.

My friend and I went there spontaneously after a day of shopping because I remembered that a colleague had recommended the restaurant to me. Unfortunately, the bottom of his pizza was completely burnt so it couldn't be eaten anymore. When we let the staff know, they immediately took good care of it. We didn't have to pay for the pizza and got a (very tasty) dessert and espresso on the house. The good service completely compensated for the mistake with the pizza and it was still a successful and delicious evening :) Maybe it was also because it was Monday, in any case we will give Capvin another chance and come back at the next opportunity!

First-class service with a really friendly Italian lady (great accent)! I've never had a pizza like this before, I don't know what's different about the dough but it's really something special. I will definitely come again. The only point of criticism is the loud ambience of the restaurant, but that's fine for me and that's why it's still 5 stars.

Really a great place. We had great, friendly and humorous service. We had reserved a table. I think that's advisable because it was really very crowded. Therefore my recommendation: Do not make a reservation on a Saturday between 7:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. Rather later or sooner.
