My husband and I were given this evening at this beautiful restaurant as a gift! It was a wonderful evening! From the reception to the farewell, everything was perfect. A very young, polite, and attentive staff guided us competently through the evening. A sophisticated, modern ambiance that made you feel at home! Every plate was not only stunning to look at. From the appetizer to the dessert, everything was exquisite (the salmon melted in your mouth!!!). The combination was a true taste experience! Wow!!! We have never left a restaurant so satisfied. Thank you so much! You are fantastic and your concept is unique ❣️ A big recommendation!!! And... we will definitely be back 😊

The Cantinetta is centrally located in Hamburg's Speicherstadt - so it's easily accessible by public transport but parking is also very easy there. The restaurant itself is well furnished, with not so much seating - very pleasant. Anyone who was hoping for the typical atmosphere with harbor and water due to the location of the Speicherstadt was surprised with the rear view of a large parking garage - but it was only mediocre. Great reception and service - everything went quickly and super nicely. Anyone who was looking forward to classic Italian cuisine when eating out was disappointed. Here they serve upscale cuisine - unfortunately pasta or even pizza are not represented - it's a real shame - the offer could have been a little more rounded. The food itself was absolutely OK - but only the main course might not have been enough. In terms of price, with several courses and a wine, it is definitely in the upper third. All in all a successful evening 🙏😉👏

Very mixed experience The setting: a street with little traffic, an entrance leading to a cold corridor. We go up to the 1st floor and here we find ourselves in a very warm setting 👌 The service: errors, but overall good. The kitchen: to be reviewed. A "risotto with cockles, roasted vegetables and parmesan".... which happens to be a creamy rice that is too salty, with pieces of peeled mussels (probably not fresh), and grated vegetables 😲 We preferred to refrain from having dessert.

Review for the Cantinetta Ristorante & Bar in Hamburg: The service in the bar was impeccable – friendly, attentive and truly professional. But the burger? An absolute disgrace. I don't know who in your kitchen is responsible for this "burger", but it was the worst burger I've ever eaten. It seemed like it had been put together by someone who had never heard of cooking. Dry, burnt bun, no sauce - really no sauce at all - I didn't know such a thing was even possible. Any chef with a shred of sense knows that a burger just doesn't work without sauce. But it gets worse: soggy lamb's lettuce on a burger? Seriously? This is not only inappropriate, but shows complete ignorance. Lamb's lettuce has no place on a burger and of course it becomes mushy - who would think of something like that? The fries were the only thing edible, but far too few. For 21.50 euros I expect more than a careless catastrophe that looks like it was thrown together by a child. My tip: get a chef who knows his craft, because serving something like that is simply embarrassing.

We were there for a company event. The communication beforehand was great and really great. The evening itself was really a great experience. Super delicious food, unique service and the separate area is really nice. We would love to come back and I can only recommend this restaurant to everyone.

Great location amazing service team. But the food was very underwhelming. It’s quit impressive to make a beef carpaccio tasting fade. And the risotto was like from a canteen. Sorry chef, but I believe u can do much better. We we went on a Sunday evening. Was that the problem ?

Das Restaurant in einem Zweckbau, Der Blick: auf ein Parkhaus - nicht unbedingt, was man in der Speicherstadt erwartet. Das Menüangebot angenehm übersichtlich, das ließ hoffen. Die Wahl: Das Tatar: ambitionslos angerichtet. Die Krabbensuppe: lecker. Die Entenbrust: perfekt gegart, aber ungewürzt und mit dem Kürbismus noch blasser. Gut, dass es da eine Salz- und Pfeffermühle gab. Das Risotto: ging einmal zurück, (wurde dann nicht berechnet), leider kennt sich unser Gast da gut aus. Der Rinderrücken: perfekt gegart und superzart, aber ungewürzt und auf den kühlen Tellern auch die Beilagen ziemlich lauwarm. Das Schwein: keine Klagen. Dann: Ewig lange Pausen zwischen den Gängen, die, immer wieder angeboten, sollten mit leckerem Brot überbrückt werden, aber dafür sind wir nicht gekommen. Unseren Wein holten wir nach anfänglich freundlichem Einschenken von weither dann selbst. Als der Nachtisch 3 Stunden nach unserem Eintreffen, wir waren inzwischen nur noch 6 Gäste, noch immer nicht da war, zahlten wir und brachen in getrübter Stimmung auf. Einziger Lichtblick: Der anfängliche Service, der dann aber irgendwann nicht mehr zu sehen war und von 4 verschiedenen meist unsichtbaren Menschen übernommen wurde, die so auch nichts optimieren konnten.

Nice upscale atmosphere. The food is good but not appropriate for the price. There is no innovation and the portion size, especially with the herring tartar. The shortage of skilled workers has also hit here. The waiting time for the main course was 2 hours.

It is really recommended. We had the fish which was really cooked perfectly. The waiters were very attentive and very friendly. We were also able to adjust our order individually.

Was there for the evening with a couple of friends. The restaurant is nicely decorated and is located very nicely next to the canals in the spice city. The service is present, knowledgeable about the contents of the menu card. We picked a bit from the menu and were not disappointed. The celery soup was excellent. The quail was cooked to perfection, super flavourful. We ate breakfast for the two days we stayed at the hotel opposite. The breakfast buffet was very impressive with a good selection to suit every taste.

Eine wunderbare Neuentdeckung in der Speicherstadt, die wir in HH labenden Geschäftsfreunden zu verdanken hatten. Stylisch mit großen Fensterfronten kann man hier eine großartige italienische Küche genießen. Der Service ist jung, aber bestens ausgebildet und motiviert. Wir kommen sicher wieder.

The most amazing place to have an Italian dinner. A very warm and polite welcome. The most wonderful and helping waiter, and of course also his colleagues. The dinner was extremely good and so was the wine that our waiter chose for us. We will definitely come back next time we are in Hamburg.

El desayuno fue reservado a través del Hotel Ameron. Fue excelente. El buffet era grande y la papilla era perfecta. La cena fue genial. La mesa no estaba reservada, pero nos llevaron, durante 1 ó 5 horas. Tuvimos 4 cursos, y no se terminó dentro de las 1 , 5 horas, pero nunca lo mencionaron. Gran servicio y súper comida.

We had a wonderful evening here. We really liked the ambience, the oft-quoted view of the parking garage opposite didn't bother us and didn't have a negative impact on our experience. The service team is very “unobtrusively present” and unerringly helped my wife decide on the right wine. The food was well prepared and a true taste experience. The employee who was responsible for our table always found the right moment for the next course; we didn't have to ask him about it. All in all, a successful evening that we would like to repeat.

Mein Mann und ich haben in dem Restaurant zu Abend gegessen. Der Wein war sehr gut. Der Service nicht zu beanstanden. Sehr gut war der Fisch von meinem Mann und das Schokoladen Törtchen. Leider war meine Vorspeise Tatar vom Rind sehr grob geschnitten, viele Sehnen und geschmacklich nichtgut. Der Mitarbeiter war sehr gut. Auf Nachfrage und Rückmeldung wurde uns jeweils ein Getränk als Entschädigung angeboten. Das Menü ist überschaubar.

We arrived at the restaurant as part of a voucher. The entire meal (three-course menu) was excellent. The employees are all very nice and accommodating. We will be very happy to come back.

We had a candle light dinner as a voucher. The service was very attentive and friendly. But you can also be a little more relaxed. Unfortunately there were no drinks there which you then had to pay at an overpriced price. Unfortunately you couldn't choose between 3 on the menu. My wife eats very little meat and no fish. I had fish as a starter and my wife had salad. The bread that came with it was delicious but the dips with it........The main course was fillet of beef with potatoes and artichokes. That wasn't really ours. As a follow-up, a piece of chocolate cake that was actually just sweet. It looked great on the plate but not to our palate. If you offer something like that, please make a selection because I wouldn't want to give the voucher away.

Hello, We were treated to a candle light dinner in this restaurant. We don't usually hang out in such an upscale atmosphere. Everything was excellent except for the prices. If you have ordered a 3-course meal, a non-alcoholic drink should be included. One glass would be sufficient. We think paying over €8 for a bottle of water is completely excessive. Hence a star deduction. The waitress (only the 2nd week here as a trainee) was very attentive. The food was very nicely prepared and tasted excellent. It was a unique experience for us.

A wonderful evening... … delicious food (burrata and, as a main course, ravioli filled with cream cheese) ... excellent Rioja Crianza ... the young team around Tim is extremely well-coordinated, attentive and does a really great job (I take my hat off in amazement!) … modern Speicherstadt ambience ... worth a visit at any time!

Magnifico. Che dire? Ogni volta che vengo ad amburgo ceno in questo gioiellino affacciato sui canali della città. Locale molto bello, moderno ma accogliente. Cibo italiano buono, prodotti ottimi. Personale molto gentile. Prezzi medio alti, ma ne vale la pena. Consigliatissimo.

Culinary perfection, excellent service and a beautiful location in a historic building! My girlfriend and I were there about 2 weeks ago. Found the restaurant via an app and luckily stopped in. Every gear was worked with absolute precision. Every component was extremely tasty and created a harmonious overall picture. The combinations were unique. Our recommendations: Glazed eggplant, beef shovel and the apple tart with lavender crumbles. Each course contained sweetness, acidity, saltiness & crunch. Completely thought out in high food quality. About the service: Exceptionally good! Presumably also desired by the owner in such an environment. The entire team provided excellent support. A particularly big compliment goes to our waiter “Tim”, who accompanied us throughout the evening. Perfect handling of presenting our different wines, explanations of all dishes, attentive and interested. I personally only know something like this from shops like “Der Setkasten” in Düsseldorf. In summary, everything was more than perfect. “Cantinetta” has set the bar extremely high for future restaurant visits.

We had a wonderful evening here in the restaurant. Our waiter Tim was friendly, accommodating and very polite. Our food was excellent and very tasty and there was a great selection of vegan dishes. When we are back in Hamburg we would like to come back. Thank you for the great evening.

Reservations are possible and sensible. There was enough space on this Saturday evening, but I also experienced it differently. The decor is very special, the service is courteous and polite, and the food is an eye-catcher!

The “Monday gap” is finally closed. This restaurant with a special atmosphere is also open on Monday evenings. Thanks for that. The hotel was kind enough to allow the 30 minute delay by telephone. We were friendly shown to our table, overlooking the Fleet. The room is impressively high and bright, and the modern furnishings are immediately pleasing to the eye. The lamps are also very special. We warmed up well to the stimulating, stylish surroundings. There was also good flexibility from the kitchen in the menu sequence. A mixed salad was the starter. The asparagus with potatoes and Holstein ham were really tasty. The hollandaise is absolutely delicious. The duck was just as pleasing. The Chardonnay rounded off the scenery well and completed it. The Decaf Espresso Macchiato coffee option is nice. Probably a horror for coffee connoisseurs, but a gift for light sleepers. Thanks to the house for the choice. See you soon in the Speicherstadt.

We booked a 3-course menu through Mydays. We received a very warm welcome and our waitress Iris served us in a friendly and funny manner throughout the evening and accompanied us very well. The food was very tasty and completely impressed us. We can fully recommend both the arrangement and the restaurant, we will definitely come back.

Leider habe ich mir unter einem Dinner etwas ganz anderes vorgestellt tut mir leid aber das war für mich das allerletzte im Parkhaus standen nette Autos aber die brauchte ich nicht zum Essen wenn ich bedenke das ich 400 km dafür gefahren bin wäre ich besser beim meinem Heimischen Italiener geblieben mfg.Michael Mummel übrigens das Foto war die Haupspeise ein Löffel Risotto mit fünf Erbsen und meine Frau bekam eine kleine Schüssel mitHünersuppe die man mit Messer und Gabel essen musste .Alles im allem ein Reinfall der für die Sendung vorsichtig Kamera gedacht war

We visited the Cantinetta for the first time at the beginning of April this year, as it was part of a harbor tour package from “Jochen Schweizer”. It was a great experience, especially because our waitress was very warm and took the time to describe the delicious dishes. Gladly again! Many greetings to Hamburg

Incredibly friendly service despite fair prices

Mmmh, the food was really good, my wish to sit by the window was granted. The friendliness of the service staff was also... it seemed very memorized. And when we heard the same questions and the same answers from the service staff at the neighboring tables... we heard the same thing. Mmm not so ideal. In addition, all 5 powers were called "Max"...

We were here as part of a 3-course candlelight dinner from mydays. The food itself was delicious, but I would have liked more variations or a choice between meat/fish or vegetarian/vegan. The starter was a salad, the main course was gnocchi with mushrooms and the dessert consisted of cream and figs. Here it gave the impression that they wanted to make the most of their profit, since the same thing was served to everyone who had the candlelight dinner. The wine is very expensive there. A bottle of wine online costs as much as a glass (0.2l) in this restaurant. The service was good, but the timing of each course was poor. The candlelight dinner was coupled with a harbor lights trip via Mydays. Well... we and the other couples almost missed the harbor lights cruise because the dessert was served to us 45 minutes before the harbor lights cruise started. The fact that it takes about 30 minutes to walk from the restaurant to the jetties was not taken into account here and so what was supposed to be a pleasant evening turned out to be a bit stressful, which was a shame.

Just a delightful experience . We did this this as part of a package with a river cruise so a limited menu . Service was non intrusive and incredibly helpful and the food !!! Off the chart good . Every little nuance of all dishes balanced beautifully. Bravo chef , and all other staff !!

Food ok - rather below average for the price, because the prices are very high. Nice ambience... but you're looking at a parking garage! However, service is terrible, food takes a long time and the waiters are slow and forget the orders! Sometimes you had to remind me three times until only bread came before the starter! Bad!!!

We stayed at Ameron Hamburg Hotel during our time in Hamburg. We enjoyed having breakfast 'across the bridge' in the morning, which honestly was the best breakfast we had in Germany over the 9 nights we spent in various towns. Superb attentive service by staff. We especially enjoyed the vibes in the bar. Wow! Great relaxing music and the staff made our experience so memorable. I love having things made locally or in the country so it was nice to have the recommendation for German Whisky by our bartender. A+ bar experience that we won't soon forget!

Great location, super friendly staff, delicious foccacia with two types of dip (artichoke & carrot), olive oil & Acento balsamico, as a starter mixed pasta with mussels and crab foam soup, as the main course we had duck breast and sea bream. Everything excellent.

Upscale restaurant with outstanding service! Good waiter assignment and really quick preparation. The braised shoulder was incredibly tender, understandable considering it supposedly took 13 hours to cook. The ceiling height is impressive and it's nice to be right on the water; Unfortunately you are looking at a parking garage, which still drags down the view. But that doesn't reduce the quality of the food! We even had dessert even though the kitchen was actually closed, thank you very much for your efforts! The risotto as a starter and the aftertaste rounded off the evening well.

Great restaurant manager with a very good young staff who are finally keen to act as hosts and also understand what good service is. Nice ambience, subtle music and you can't complain about the performance that comes from the kitchen. It's worth a visit. In any case, it wasn't the first time and certainly not the last time we were guests there. Thanks to the entire staff

The food, service and ambience were perfect during our visit. From recommending the aperitif to advising on questions about food, the service was outstanding. The quality of the food was very good and the taste was perfect for us. We easily reserved a table on the same day via OpenTable, which worked out great. The only drawback is the large parking garage that you can see across the street. However, it's only a bit annoying in the dark because of the bright lighting in the parking garage. Certainly not at all disturbing in daylight.

Eloquent service and delicious food, we really liked it.

Very tasty starter and dessert. The fish for the main course was a bit dry and the meat was a bit fatty/cartilaginous. But it was still very tasty. The waiters didn't know all the drinks on the menu, but that's complaining at a high level. They were very friendly and accommodating! We will be back.

Das war ein sehr sehr angenehmer Abend , waren am Samstag 14.10 da . Sind sogar zu spät gekommen , war aber absolut kein Problem. Ich muss besonders dem Service und vor allem unserer Betreuerin des Tisches bedanken.

Wir hatten von unseren Kindern ein 3-Gängemenue geschenkt bekommen und ließen uns nun überraschen. Das Essen war sehr, sehr gut. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Jeder einzelne Gang wurde uns erklärt. Wir werden das Restaurant auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen

Das Interieur war äusserst geschmackvoll gestaltet. Der Empfang freundlich und zuvorkommend. Sowohl die Vorspeise (vegetarisch) wie auch der Hauptgang (fish of the day) waren ausgezeichnet. Die beiden Weissweine, die wir Gläser weise getrunken haben waren gut. All das Geschriebene würden 5 Sterne ergeben, wenn es nicht doch zwei Dinge gab, die wir nicht so schätzten. Die Quantität (nicht Qualität) des Fischgang entsprach nicht dem Preis. Der Fisch mit ca. 60 - 80 Gramm und die dazu servierten Beilagen entsprachen eher einer Vorspeise als dem Highlight der Speisekarte. Bei den Vorspeisen und den Weinen waren die Preise korrekt. Und der zweite nicht befriedigende Punkt waren die Wartezeiten. Der erste Gang kam nach ca. einer 3/4 Stunde und der Hauptgang auch zu spät. So verzichteten wir auf die Bestellung einer Nachspeise. Zur Information: das Restaurant war höchstens zu einem Drittel besucht.

Wir werden das Restaurant auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen und wenn wir wieder in Hamburg sind sehr gerne wieder besuchen.

Wir waren zum 2. Mal dort und es war wie immer ausgezeichnet. Der Kellner er stellt sich mir Namen vor und Sonderwünsche werden problemlos geklärt. Es werden auch ein paar Worte zum Wein erzählt und selbst Humor kommt nicht zu kurz. Jederzeit wieder

Hat nicht überzeugt. Das Lamm für 36,50 Euro war leider nicht als solches zu identifizieren. In einer etwas undefinierbaren Soße schwammen ein paar kleine Bröckchen Fleisch. Für diese Preis absolut nicht akzeptabel. Die Vorspeisen waren gut und auch der Wein. Sehr freundliches Personal.

Repas bien au delas de mes attentes. Pour les amoureux d'originalité culinaires et de découvertes de saveurs, foncez tête baissée. Ce restaurant est fait pour vous.

Hervorragendes Essen, tolles Ambiente. Das Restaurant war nicht ganz einfach (über den Hoteleingang) zu finden, aber die „Suche“ hat sich gelohnt. Wir hatten eine super leckere Burrata (absolute Empfehlung!), Pasta mit Ziegenkäse (ebenfalls spitze) und Brasato di Manzo (auch sehr gut). Für den alkoholfreien Aperitiv fehlte eine Zutat, die Alternative war aber auch ok. Einzig das Personal wirkte teilweise etwas „aufgesetzt“, was mich persönlich etwas gestört hat. Objektiv aber durchaus freundlich.

Das Essen war exzellent. Die Preise hoch, das Personal freundlich, wenngleich teils etwas gekünstelt. Empfehlenswert.

This quiet restaurant in the Speicherstadt district was quite a find. We had the 'Risotto al carifofi' with shrimps. The risotto was beautiful on its own with perfectly 'al dente' rice and a fine lemony flavor. But also the shrimps were cooked to perfection. The dessert, 'Herzapfel' (heart apple) was an artful master piece in the shape of an apple and a stem made of chocolate. With every bite a different taste could be sampled. Also, the wine, a 2021 Cutizzi, was so excellent that we bought a bottle to go. The service was very attentive but delightfully unpretentious.

Eine wirklich sehr gute Küche mit absolut kompetenten Mitarbeitern. Super freundlich und sehr angenehmer Service. Sandy Sue .... hat einen großartigen Job gemacht. 👏

Kleine Speisekarte, aber sehr leckeres und gut kombiniertes Essen! Einen guten Wein dazu sowie eine sehr freundliche und aufmerksame Bedienung und schon hat man einen wunderschönen Abend!

Wir waren für ein verlängertes Wochenende in Hamburg und am ersten Abend hier Essen. Das Restaurant ist etwas abgelegen gelegen und der Eingang ist sehr unspektakulär. So das wir erst dachten wir hätten uns verlaufen. Die Kellner sind schnell und sehr nett und höflich. Die Karte ist klein, dass Essen ist jedoch sehr gut und lecker. Die Weinkarte ist ausreichend und bietet auch genug Auswahl. Die Einrichtung ist sehr schön und hat uns gut gefallen. Nur der Blick auf das Parkhaus nebenan war nicht ganz so gut. Wir hatten einen schönen Abend in den Restaurant und würden auch wieder kommen.
