Ristorante L'Europeo in Hamburg

Last night we walked past this restaurant and the atmosphere looked so nice that we decided to sit here. Best choice! Tastiest pasta I've had in a long time. Staff very friendly and treat you with respect. For us this was Tommas!

Young very disrespectful waiter. No recommendation

Ended up at L'Europeo because we always try something new - so we went there without any information. We were really positively surprised: food excellent, service extra class and wine as well. The dessert was also very good. I absolutely cannot understand the comments about the lack of service and there are also bought comments, which is what I tend to bet on (they always like to like themselves). There are several waiters there and someone else was always there asking if everything was okay. The hand position is always closed behind the back - as you learn in service school. The boss came personally and presented the entire menu to each guest - without reading it. He answered all questions. It's rare to get service like this in a German restaurant. So it just doesn't fit with the bad impressions - or it's some parallel world. In terms of price, it is in the upper mid-range and suitable for a dinner for two or a small group of adults. So it's not for children who don't care much about such compositions or who don't want to sit in a quiet atmosphere. So a recommendation from me or almost an insider tip for excellent Italian cuisine in Hamburg.

Good food, friendly service, but with some drawbacks At L’Europeo I have always received very friendly and attentive service. The service is definitely a plus. The food is also of good quality - my particular highlight: the mashed potatoes with fried eggs and truffles - great! Nevertheless, the restaurant leaves me with mixed feelings: for the rather high prices, I personally expect more - be it in the sophistication and creativity of the dishes as well as the taste experience itself. For me, the audience doesn't necessarily contribute to an all-round harmonious atmosphere. Overall – a solid restaurant with some strengths, but for me not a top restaurant in the city.

Absolutely world class food. The service is original. Payment is made in cash. If you try it out, you're already out of luck. But it's worth it. The shrimp in Knofi 10/10, also tartare and zucchini simply fantastic. I haven't eaten so well in a really long time.

Moin Folks, kurz und knapp, was man so liest, ja bei voller Hütte, etwas laut, nun es ist so und im Grunde überall ist das meist so✅👏👍 Die Preise sind von der geilen Qualität getragen und gut, es zeigen die unendlichen Stammgäste, die täglich sich den Türgriff in die nächste Hand reichen👏👏👏👏👏👍👍 Es ist einfach geilogalaktisch und Danke für die tolle Gastfreundschaft. Die Bilder an der Wand von Otto Waalkes erklären auch das er hier ein und aus geht. Kann es dann Qualität falsch sein, für mich nicht und es ist sehr lecker. Outdated restaurant, cozy is a bit different. Overpriced, no prices, no menu, only cash payment, “Nachtigall ick hear you traps”, food is certainly good but it is certainly still a long way to the best Italian. The staff is friendly, but it makes you sick when you have to watch the owner courting certain guests and disrespecting everyone else. After the starter, which came quickly, we waited for our spaghetti for three quarters of an hour, just spaghetti, no art... The tables were only half occupied, was the chef a smoker? The kitchen is lame. We were fed up, wanted to pay, then we were honored and the boss said he had to tell us not to come back... did he think that we would cause the disaster again???? There are better Italian restaurants in Hamburg where the kitchen works properly and you get your food quickly and are politely said goodbye. My impression is that something has gone to the owner's head here. The evening was over for us.

Gutes Essen aber nicht außergewöhnlich. Nur Bargeldzahlung, keine Speisekarte, keine Preise einzusehen, freundlicher Service, lahmende Küche und zum Schluss ist der Gast schuld. Leider keine Empfehlung.

If you go there ask to Michele. He’s a very good waiter. The food is very good. It was my birthday and they put a song on and gave me a tiramisu with a candle, very cute. The waiters sang the birthday song and the boss gave a little drink. It’s a very cosy restaurant! 10/10!!!

We were only in Pisa for one night. After eating a fabulous lunch we decided to come for dinner too. Lunch was Beef Tatar and chicken Caesar salad Dinner was mixed seafood grill and cheese pizza with extra salami. All the food was wonderful, and fresh The service was extremely quick. Staff are friendly, accommodating and knowledgeable especially Vincenzo!! Thank you

The food, wine and service were very good, but please why do frog legs and foie gras have to be on the menu or offered? A really good restaurant doesn't need that and is unfortunately a reason for us not to come back.

Wonderful experience. Great service with a team led by the owner. The quality of fish, seafood and vegetables is good. We ordered different antipasti such as fennel salad with homemade sausage, beans with bottarga, and everything to share with the main being a Turbot in a bread crust, which was paired with perfectly aldente cooked veggies and some tomato and garlic bread! I finished with profiterole and amazing cheese. I will be back when next in Hamburg.

Gemütliches Restaurant, aber sehr laut und sehr unbequeme Stühle. Viele Kellner bedienen gleichzeitig am Tisch, was zu großer Unruhe führt. Mündlich vorgetragene Karte vom Chef wurde von unserem Freund aufgrund der Lautstärke nicht richtig verstanden, bei der Wiederholung war der Chef schon sehr unfreundlich. Nachteil auch, man sieht keinerlei Preise, die Rechnung ist also ne echte Überraschung. Allerdings leider im negativen. Völlig überteuert für durchschnittliches Essen. Nicht schlecht, aber auch nicht den Preisen entsprechend überragend. Essen war lieblos auf den Tellern angerichtet, fast alle Teller an unserem Tisch waren angeschlagen. Selbst an zwei Gläsern waren Ecken abgesprungen. In Restaurants ein absolutes NoGo.

Visited the place with my colleagues. They all appreciated the food. There are fewer options for vegetarians like me, but I enjoyed the hospitality, and the staff was very friendly.

Authentische italienische Küche. Klassiker aber auch ganz viele besondere Speisen. Abwechslungsreicher als viele Restaurants in Italien selbst.

Favorite Italian restaurant in Hamburg

We went here at night during our visit to the leaning tower of pisa. The ambience was great, the food was also great. I ordered beef steak and seafood soup. It tasted perfect. Vincenzo was the one that served us at the moment and he served us perfectly. Great communication and service.👍

Seit über 30 Jahren ist Antonio vollkommen verdient eine der Top-Adressen für exzellente italienische Küche in Hamburg. Tolle Geschmacksaromen, geerdete Küche ohne viel Brimborium mit hochwertigen Produkten. Toller Service!

Datum: 14.10.2023 Ich möchte meine enttäuschende Erfahrung im L’ Europeo teilen. Leider war der Besuch alles andere als zufriedenstellend. Als wir das Restaurant betraten, wurden wir freundlich begrüßt und zu unserem Tisch geführt. Allerdings war die Aufmerksamkeit des Personals ausschließlich auf die Getränkeauswahl gerichtet. Es schien, als ob ihnen der übliche Kundenservice nicht wichtig war. Nachdem wir unsere gewünschten Getränke bestellt hatten, begann das Warten. Leider vergingen 25 Minuten, ohne dass jemand zu uns kam, um unsere Bestellung für das Essen aufzunehmen. Andere Gäste wurden bedient und aßen bereits, während wir immer noch auf unsere Bestellung warteten. Dies war nicht nur frustrierend, sondern auch unhöflich. Wir beschlossen, das Restaurant aufgrund des unzureichenden Services zu verlassen. Es ist bedauerlich, dass wir keine Gelegenheit hatten, die Qualität des Essens zu bewerten, da dies aufgrund der Wartezeit nicht möglich war. Es ist enttäuschend, dass das L‘Europeo nicht in der Lage war, einen angemessenen Service anzubieten. Kunden sollten sich beim Besuch eines Restaurants willkommen und geschätzt fühlen. Leider war dies hier nicht der Fall. Ich hoffe, dass dieses Feedback dem Management des Restaurants hilft, ihre Service-Qualität zu verbessern und solche Situationen in Zukunft zu vermeiden. Es tut mir leid, dass ich keine positivere Bewertung abgeben kann, aber ich denke, es ist wichtig, ehrlich über meine Erfahrungen zu berichten, um anderen potenziellen Gästen zu helfen. Das Essen war hervorragend, unser Kellner eigentlich auch. Leider wurde uns dann von einem anderen Kellner bevor wir ausgetrunken haben, ungefragt die Rechnung auf den Tisch und die Bezahlung in drei Minutenabständen kontrolliert. Unprofessionell

Nicht der günstigste Italiener, aber einer der besten! Jeden Euro wert. Authentische Italianità. Gerne wieder.

We got excellent service when arriving to the restaurant as a result of a stau on the road around Hamburg. We felt that we were appreciated. The boss Mario told us that the kitchen was closed but they could make us lunch if we all would agree to the same course. And luckily we did agree since we had an excellent lunch served by Lorenzo with a prosecco and white whine Lagunare from Sicily that our ladies told us really make it perfect. Me and my friend were unlucky drivers. . This was an experience that will not be forgotten. The restaurant its atmosphere the food and service by Lorenzo and all members of the staff and his boss were unbelieveable and all that without having a reservation.

They had just close the kitchen (around 15.00) but the boss Mario open it for us. We order seefood pasta and WOW.... It was exelend and also the gluten free! was superb. The staff was also very nice and real profensinals. Our waiter Lorenzo was superb... We ask recomention for good White wine? Lorenzo say " would you trust me" and we say yes. He gave us white wine from Sisilia. It was 100% mach with the food👍.

Der perfekte Italiener, Kochen mit Leidenschaft Es war ein Hochgenuss

Das Personal ist freundlich und aufmerksam. Das Essen sehr lecker. Aber preislich finde ich es schon sehr teuer. Da es weder draußen noch drinnen eine Speicherkarte gibt, weiß man am Ende nicht was einem preislich erwartet. Man sollte genügend Bargeld dabei haben. Ansonsten top.

Wir waren gestern mit 6 Freunden da. Es hat unseren Geschmak nicht getroffen, weil … Preisleistung ist schlecht: Mineralwasser - 7,5€. Fischgericht 30-40€ Das Essen war zu salzig , zu stark angebraten. Keine gemütliche Atmosphäre. Zu viel Kellner laufen rum, unterbrechen, mündlich vorgetragene Karte hat uns gestresst, weil wir es alles merken mussten und schnell spontan entscheiden mussten, was bestellt wird.

Traditions Italiener in Hamburg Bahrenfeld, was es zu essen gibt wird vom Patron am Tsch aufgesagt ohne Preise.Nur Bargeld wird akzeptiert. Ausgezeichnetes Essen weit weg vom Üblichen Italo Food. Sehr gutes Publikum

Wow, was soll ich sagen, wir waren absolut begeistert vom Essen. 100% Empfehlung und bestes italienisches Essen seit Jahren (außerhalb von Italien ;)). Salat mit Ziegenkäse und Trüffel, mit ordentlich Trüffel und absolut top gewürzt und im Anschluss Mini Kalbsrouladen auch hier, selten so gut gewürzt. Meine Begleitung hatte den Thunfisch gegrillt. Simpel, aber bei den tollen Zutaten absolut perfekt. Der desserteller (kleine Schokoladen, Kekse, cantuccini) mit dem Espresso absolut köstlich und ausreichend. Ansonsten gibt es kleine "Klischee" spleens, wie beispielsweise, dass es keine Karte gibt, sondern von Tony vorgetragen wird, inkl. anderer Gerichte, je nachdem ob mensch Stammkunde ist oder nicht (unser Nebentisch bekam andere "bessere" Gerichte vorgeschlagen). Ich fand es charmant und witzig, darf mensch sich nicht drüber aufregen. Super aufmerksamer Service. Komme definitiv asap wieder :)

O just stop NY tô javé a lunch not expecting too much but the meal was well prepared. I asked for the lamb. The menu is in German so you will have to guess what you order. Part of the menu is also Italian to be “charming”. So I understood some of it. They only accept money as payment. I was prepared. In Germany they do not like credit card due to the WW II. I recommend.

Fast alle Hamburger die ich kenne sagen: Bester Italiener. Die Speisen sind auch in jedem Fall qualitativer und schmackhafter als bei den meisten anderen Läden (was in Hamburg aber auch nicht schwer ist). In Berlin oder Frankfurt jedoch, gibt es viele Italiener auf diesem Niveau. Preise hoch (aber meist gerechtfertigt). Ambiente ganz nett, aber finde ich z.B. in einem Il Cantuccio etwas schöner.

Das L'Europeo ist eine Institution - zu Recht. Ich habe außerhalb Italiens noch nie so gut italienisch gespeist. Und womit fängt gutes Essen an? Nicht mit dem Koch, sondern den Produkten. Zum Beispiel die frischen Steinpilze aus Italien, die hier quasi "mit nix", so fern nur pur gebraten als Anti Pasti serviert werden - Genial. Und funktioniert eben nur mit den besten Zutaten. Bitte lassen Sie auch niemals eine Portion Pasta aus - hier zeigt sich, welcher "Italiener" gut kochen kann. Meistens gehe ich in D nicht italienisch essen, weil ich Zuhause besser koche. Hier ist es nicht so.

Bester Italiener in Hamburg. Große Auswahl an exklusiven Speisen. Hervorragende Qualität aber auch dem entsprechende Preise. Service stehts bemüht alle Wünsche zu erfüllen!

Absolut genial. Viele Vorredner haben leider von der Italienischen Küche keine Ahnung. Die besteht nämlich nicht nur aus Pizza und Teigwaren. Wir kommen extra für zwei Tage nach Hamburg um da zu essen. Und wenn der Gast unfreundlich und arrogant ist, hat man auch keine Lust diesen dann noch nett zu bedienen. Bleibt lieber fern und geht in Eure Pizzeria oder Frittenbude, dort bekommt Ihr Eure Abfertigung für 10 Euro.

Ich kann meine Vorredner nicht verstehen. Sicherlich ist das Restaurant hochpreisig. Dafür gibt es aber außerordentliche gute Qualität der Zutaten und traumhafte Gerichte. Auch der Service ist hervorragend und die Weinbereitung gut abgestimmt. Ein absolutes kulinarisches Highlight.
