We had breakfast here with friends. It tasted great and our son was thrilled that we were on a ship.

Cool location for extraordinary celebrations

canoo is always worth a visit! Fabulous food, great service and lovely ambience! The view is really unique and the price is also right😊🫶🏼 I had the vegetarian breakfast this time and can only recommend it! But everything is delicious ;)

And so the ambience can quickly become a disappointment...The freshly squeezed orange juice was sold and served to us from a fish orange and remaining bottles of orange juice. A complaint was followed by no insight and no apology. We were served a new freshly squeezed orange juice (which was then allowed to call itself that) including accusations from the overwhelmed amateur counter staff. "The guests would be too spoiled." The waffle was delicious, the ambience is a gift. But it doesn't lure us in anymore!! NO GO!!!

I brought a friend which was visiting. Unfortunately my fresh mint tea had bugs in it and had to be sent back. The waitress seemed not happy about it. We ordered waffles, it came with lots of black burnt crust which could not be removed. Seems that the waffle maker has not been cleaned in a very long time. In the middle of eating, hair was found in it. Not again.

Went there for breakfast and were very positively surprised. The breakfast was very rich and delicious. Prices were really great 👍🏻 You should definitely make a reservation. I can imagine that we'll come for lunch sometime.

Service zero stars… Waited 40 minutes for two cafes, complaint answered very rudely and customer-unfriendly. Waitress on October 6th had no idea about service and was very arrogant. After 40 minutes we still didn't get the two cafes we ordered, so we left. It's a shame because the location is good

We visited the location with 8 people and previously reserved a table on the upper deck for 4 p.m. When we arrived on time and asked to be assigned a table, we were assigned one on the lower deck. The boss responded to our complaint in a very unfriendly manner with the words, “You can leave again,” which is something we would actually have liked to do if we had had an alternative. So we sat down at a large table on the lower deck and placed our order with the very friendly waiters. The food was ok, the service too. Unfortunately, the acoustics weren't very good and the music was too loud, making it difficult to have a conversation. Conclusion: A nice location with decent food, friendly waiters but an unfriendly boss who not only treats the guests inappropriately, but also treats his employees extremely unfriendly in front of the customers. We wouldn't book here again.

With one of the most beautiful places where you can eat delicious food and chill out during the day. The menu is also ideal for vegetarians and vegans.

I wanted to reserve a table by phone. Unfortunately the man on the phone was totally unfriendly... I was disappointed and never want to come there or make a reservation again

Absolutely cool location. A ship restaurant from which you can enjoy the sunset on the Rhine. Tarte flambée tastes great, especially the one with walnuts, honey and cheese. Great atmosphere, delicious food.

The atmosphere is really nice and invites you to eat. The food and dessert were also very tasty. However, I only give it 3 out of 5 stars because we ate there with around 40 people and therefore left quite a lot of money there. However, we were very unpleasantly thrown out after the last round at 10:10 p.m. (the shop closes at 10 p.m.) with the reason "The staff also wants to finish work." I know this differently from other restaurants. I found that more than a shame! We'll probably eat somewhere else next time.

Holiday feelings! Here you can expect great food in a relaxed atmosphere. Enjoy the view of the Rhine with a Düsseldorf mustard roast or a Viennese veal schnitzel. You certainly won't be disappointed. There are paid parking spaces nearby (2€/hour).

One of the most beautiful locations in Düsseldorf. Small but nice. Very nice service and delicious food. Gladly again.

The tomato soup and the waffle are highly recommended. There are also other treats that we will try next time. The location is directly on the Rhine. The service is very nice. Recommended to everyone!

The most beautiful place to switch off! Here you get the tastiest food and the best coffee I've ever had. Sefa and his team are just super welcoming and I really enjoy coming here every time <3

Price-performance is quite ok. Staff are not attentive enough, but that may be due to the general lack of staff.

Forgot your order, billed incorrectly and then got cheeky. We ordered waffles and apple strudel and drinks. The latte was so-so. After an hour there was still no food. When asked, the waitress said that they only had one waffle iron and that it was busy. After another 10 minutes we were told that 2 waffles were ready, the rest were not. We then canceled and wanted to pay. However, the apple strudel was on the bill when we billed, so we complained more clearly, then the waiter slammed the money on the table and called the boss. If you don't have the store under control, you should let fewer people in or hire more staff. This is definitely not a professional way to treat customers. More appearance than reality, never more!

Simply always the most delicious food with a beautiful view of the Rhine! Been coming here regularly every few weeks for about three years and have never been disappointed! Today I had tarte flambée with serrano and I was thrilled. I can only recommend a visit here!

Beautiful day, table reserved for 10am. The gate opened at 10 sharp. Our table was reserved by name. We took breakfast for 2 people. It was rich, rolls, croissant, cheese, Camembert, cold cuts, jam, honey, Nutella and butter. Everything fresh and nicely prepared. We drank 4 coffees and 2 prosecco. Very friendly, quick service. There were still seats available when we left. Beautiful view of the Rhine and the ships passing by. Clean toilet.

If I could give more stars I would do so immediately! We celebrated our wedding at Canoo and received perfect advice from start to finish. The owner took care of everything so we could just sit back and enjoy the day. The team did a great job and all of our special requests such as favorite drinks, food requests and guests' allergies or surprises were taken into account. The food was excellent despite the large number of guests. We would be happy to come back for any occasion, you simply feel welcome at Canoo!

Truly a pearl on the banks of the Rhine. Rather inconspicuous from the outside, but inside it is very cozy, the food is very good and very tasty. The service is quick and very friendly. I can highly recommend it

Stale food served ! Never been through a worse experience in my life in any restaurant! We had dinner with family of 6 and one of the plates of Salmon served was unfortunately rotten. I understand this was not intentional by the staff to serve rotten food,. But the response from the restaurant server when we told that the food was rotten, was totally unacceptable. Instead of being apologetic or being sorry for the rotten food served, they were not trusting us and were expecting us to eat the rotten food or pay for a new one. Eventually they gave us a new plate at no extra cost, which we appreciate. Even though we asked them to charge for the extra plate served as we had the feeling that they did not believe us. More than the cost , it has the cold response from the staff that was really painful.

Rotten food! (Vergammeltes Essen) We were there with family and ordered fish dishes. four of us had the salmon. My salmon tasted rotten and off so I informed the server about this. He said that this taste is due to the lemon I squeezed on it. The other three portions of salmon tasted good with the lemon on it. So I told the server once again. He did not believe me and told us that they would have to charge extra for another portion. They ultimately gave me another portion but still did not seem to believe me. This attitude towards customers is really unacceptable. Will not visit again!

Here you have a very nice view over the Rhine and the bank opposite. Service is good, if a bit "chaotic" at times. Breakfast was tasty and the portions were good. The Stramme Max is very generous and even if you want to, there is no room for the waffle you initially thought of. The Mediterranean scrambled eggs were also very well received. Reservations are recommended, especially with a group.

We were here for the umpteenth time. Last on 3/9/24. this time with our little granddaughter. As always, it wasn't a problem. Our little one is very lively, so she sometimes bumps into something or gets in the way. No problem. The waitresses are not all professionals, but they make up for it with their friendliness! I can only recommend.

We were guests there yesterday on the cozy houseboat I have to say it's just great, the food is very tasty and every plate is lovingly prepared and the portions are correctly sized The staff was also attentive and friendly, as we were in the immediate vicinity of the food distribution, we were also able to see the workflow And what you should say is that the boss actively ensures that his staff is not overwhelmed. In this specific case, he made a cut even though there were still tables available so that the ratio of the number of guests to the staff was within the possible range. Terrible! My friend and I (with a migration background) Went there that day without a clue to spend a nice day together. My friend just asked for a place for smokers, to which the answer was "IN GERMANY you're not allowed to smoke anywhere indoors, in case you don't know that." " followed . We then put down the menu and left the ship. Racist statements like these really amaze you, especially if you were born in this country, grew up and have the corresponding nationality, and know all the laws and regulations of this country like everyone else. Wouldn't recommend it to anyone there. Doesn't even deserve a star.

Friendly waitress Good Prosecco, food OK, parking great, the boat is a bit old and could use a new coat of paint but I would definitely come back.

The waffles were incredibly tasty and quite large too! The ambience is of course also great, you just have to be lucky when it comes to the service, some are nice and competent, some are completely confused and unusable for the job...

Left after 20 minutes and was ignored even though there was little activity. It's a shame despite turning around several times 🤷🏻‍♀️

I went there today and was really looking forward to the Canoo. Been here many times. But the disappointment was great. No entry until 5 p.m. The only strange thing is that others were allowed in and two of them simply walked through. There are also plenty of places available. Very disappointing and a very bad feeling :(

We were here both in good weather and in winter! It is an absolute recommendation! It's wonderful to sit outside in summer! Last time we were here at the Sturm comedy show, but it was still absolutely great! Thank you 😊

The four of us had dinner and had a completely perfect evening. The location is very nice and really something different than a normal restaurant. The service was very attentive and extremely friendly. And the food (starter bruscetta and main course filled ravioli for me) was extremely tasty. I haven't eaten so well in a long time. And every plate was beautifully presented to the eye. Thank you for the great evening.

Wir kennen den Laden schon länger, waren seit Corona aber heute zum ersten Mal wieder da. Alles ist jetzt ziemlich mittelmäßig. Von 4 Gerichten kam eines 10 Minuten später, obwohl es ein einfaches Fischgericht war. Alles andere war natürlich nicht mehr heiß. Die Aubergine war gut, der Rest der Speisen nicht wirklich gut. Dann kam die Rechnung. Ein Tee war zu viel drauf. Auf diesen Hinweis hin, wurde einfach gesagt, dass wir das jetzt zahlen müssen. Von uns Vieren hat noch niemand so etwas erlebt. Es ist wohl offensichtlich, dass es uns nicht um die Paar Euro ging. Und bei einer Rechnung von über 100 Euro, gäbe es anderenfalls sicherlich das angemessene Trinkgeld von min. 10 Euro. Also einfach schlechter Service!

Ein tolles rustikales Lokal auf einem Schiff. Der Platz ist leicht beengt, jedoch gibt es hierfür eine tolle Aussicht. Der Service ist gut. Das Frühstück / der Brunch ist nur zu empfehlen. Es ist schmackhaft und eine wirklich tolle und beeindruckende Menge. Die Preise sind dabei vollkommen in Ordnung. Ich werde definitiv wieder kommen!

Ganz ok! Habe telefonisch einen Tisch anlässlich meines Geburtstages reserviert und speziell darum gebeten, dass dieser bei Ankunft fertig gedeckt ist. Dem war nicht so.Gäste saßen noch an den Tischen und es wurde schnell schnell alles weggeräumt. Wir mussten warten. Der Service war katastrophal, bis auf die jüngere Brünette. Mehrmals musste ich selbst darum bitten eine Bestellung aufzunehmen. Zusätzlich musste ich 2.50€ pro Teller bezahlen, weil ein Kuchen mitgebracht wurde. Die Kissen auf den Stühlen sehen fies und abgenutzt aus. Beim Braten wurde nicht nachgefragt, wie es gegart werden soll. Location ist top, jedoch würde ich es keinem weiterempfehlen.

Wir haben hier geheiratet. Eine sensationelle Location mit grandiosem Team. Der Besitzer, Sefa, hat alle unsere Wünsche berücksichtigt und quasi als Wedding Planer fungiert. Es war ein toller Abend, der nur mit Hilfe des Teams so toll geworden ist. Essen und Wein/Cocktails waren super und sogar individuell auf uns abgepasst. Jeder Zeit wieder, für egal welche Feier!

Leckere Waffeln und schöne Aussicht! Das Personal ist besonders freundlich und motiviert!

Wir waren wieder zu dritt dort und im Gegensatz zu letztem Jahr sehr vom Essen enttâuscht... Der Salat war ein kleines Häufchen umringt mit massig Brot (Weißmehlbaguette) mit Ziegenkäse drauf. Ich hatte mediterrane Bruschetta, da war das ähnlich, da ist es fann aber klar und man zahlt bis zu 5€ weniger. Ich bin tatsächlich eher kein Fan von Brot, es sei denn ich bestelle es mir, und wäre bei einem "Salat" mit so wenig Salat und sehr viel Brot auch etwas verwirrt. Das Ambiente ist allerdings unschlagbar und auch der Service ist gut😊

Waffeln und Lage Top. Gehe grundsätzlich sehr gerne hin! Allerdings kann ich es nicht nachvollziehen, dass wenn sich mehrere Gäste über die unerträglich laute Musik beschweren, dieser Bitte nicht nachgekommen wird. Konnten uns kaum unterhalten, schade.

Mit Blick auf den Rhein kann man hier gemütlich bei einem Cocktail sitzen und lecker speisen.

July 2023 Food is surprisingly good! Top notch - we had the hot cherries pancake, the tomato soup (very hearty and thick soup), pasta and something akin to a pizza but thinner and crispier crust. We came on a wet rainy summer later afternoon but still had a nice view of barges and boats going pass us on the River Rhine. A nice view during lunch. Highly recommended lunch place!

Auf einem Boot am Rhein mit Blick auf den Rhein . Parkplätze in der Nähe . Am Wochenende kann man frühstücken und brunchen. Gut besucht . Reservierung erwünscht .

Die Außenterrasse des Canoo ist einer meiner Lieblingsplätze für ein Lunch in Düsseldorf. Die Waffeln sind der Hammer und auch für den herzhaften Zahn gibt es eine große Auswahl! Für einen Platz auf der Außenterrasse muss das Wetter aber mitspielen, denn es ist nicht gern gesehen, wenn Gäste sich umsetzen.

Wir wurden heute sehr enttäuscht. Personal war flapsig und unfreundlich, bei 8 frühstücken wurde der Joghurt mit Obst vergessen, 3 Flaschen Wasser wurden zu viel berechnet. Und als wir den Hinweis dazu gegeben haben war keine Kulanz vorhanden, wir musste die Flaschen trotzdem bezahlen. Eine von unseren Mädels hatte Kreislaufprobleme und auch da wurde keine Hilfe angeboten und nicht mal ein Glas Wasser gegeben. Einmal und nie wieder.

Sehr schönes Ambiente auf dem Rhein. Schöner Ausblick und dazu sehr leckerer Brunch oder auch Waffeln.

Der schlechteste Service den ich je in meinem Leben erlebt habe. Waren wohl Praktikanten. Wir mussten die Kellner immer zu uns rufen, quasi eine Selbstbedienung. Die Vorspeisen waren nach dem Essen immer noch nicht da, nach mehrmaligen Fragen, haben wir die Bestellung storniert. Um 20:30 wurden wir quasi rausgeschmissen, weil das Lokal um 21 Uhr schließt . Wir hatten für eine große Gruppe reserviert und hatten vor bis 22 Uhr zu bleiben, was auch bei Google und der Homepage so stand. Als der Kuchen für die Geburtstagsfeier kam wurde ich vor allen Leuten gefragt ob man jetzt die Wunderkerzen anmachen soll.….alle waren verwundert, dass das Geburtstagskind gefragt wurde. Der Moment wurde komplett ruiniert. Und als wir zur reservierten Zeit ankamen , saßen noch Leute da und der Platz war nicht eingedeckt, die Kellnerin hat dann ganz laut gerufen „die gehen gleich“ -….. einmal und nie wieder.

Für mich der beste Chillout Platz am Rheinufer ,zur "Kaffezeit mit üppigen belgischen Waffeln" oder zum Sundowner mit frischen Aperitifs oder Himbeer-Minze-Saftschorle...daneben gibt's noch eine kleine,abwechslungsreiche Mittags-und Abendkarte.Preise sind moderat. Am liebsten bin ich dort an Wochentagen. Das Wochende ist wg. Brunchangebot sehr gut besucht.

Zum Rhein kucken in relaxter Atmosphäre draussen oder drinnen . Besonders leckere belgische Waffeln,Cocktails ,frischer Minztee,Saftschorle...zum Genießen. Kleine feine Speisekarte. Aufmerksamer sympathischer Wirt und ebenso netter Service.

Wir kommen gerne ins Canoo, die Location ist Vor allem bei gutem Wetter sehr gut besucht. Das Frühstück ist ein wenig Mager. Die Gerichte sonst sind lecker. Preisleistung ist absolut in Ordnung. Wenn man etwas kritisieren darf, wäre es das der letzte Frühjahrsputz wohl ausgefallen ist.

We were there for brunch. Very nice atmosphere. I had Stramma-Lachs, overall it was good but my eggs were a little bit too raw. And the bread it was served on was a little bit too plain. The service was a bit slow, but overall we enjoyed it there.

Wunderbares Ambiente, leckeres Essen und sehr freundliche Bedienung. Nur das Essen hat ein bisschen lange gedauert, sonst aber alles prima.

Unterirdischer Service, auf Waffeln wartet man 45 min, auf Nachfrage dann innerhalb von 3min ging es doch. Das Schiff war nicht sonderlich voll, muss man bemerken. Für den Service definitiv zuuuuu teuer.

Das Essen war gut. Die Speisekarte ist übersichtlich. Der Ausblick auf den Rhein ist sehr schön. Wir waren im Februar da und saßen im "Wintergarten", da hat es leider etwas gezogen und war kühl.

It’s very pleasant having breakfast in summers on Canoo. I enjoy the environment more than the food. The breakfast portions are more than enough and you can share. You have to be a bit patient for receiving your orders but the view and the atmosphere worth it.

Sehr schöne Location, guter Service mit nettem Team. Unsere Speisen waren sehr lecker - hier stimmt Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis.

Ich war letztes Wochenende im Canoo von Freunden zum Brunchen eingeladen. Das angebotene Frühstück war sehr reichhaltig und geschmackvoll. Die Servicekräfte waren freundlich, kümmerten sich und fragten regelmäßig nach, ob wir noch etwas haben wollen. Auch die Getränke wurden nach der Bestellung zügig geliefert. Ich fand es schön hier und werde es gerne weiterempfehlen.

Sehr nette Atmosphäre. Nur diesmal maßlos enttäuscht. Bedienung unter aller Kritik. Halbe Stunde gesessen, man wurde nicht wahrgenommen und bedient. Da braucht sich die Gastro nicht wundern. Dann der Spruch: setz dich oder geh. Dazu muss ich sagen es war voll aber Profis benehmen sich anders.
