Unfortunately the food wasn't good, I've never had such a thick and dry pizza at an Italian restaurant. The waiter/boss doesn't have much to do with friendliness. So for me it's just a one-time visit...

The best Italian food I've eaten in a long time! I can't understand the negative reviews. The owner may have a special personality, but that's exactly what makes the restaurant so charming. He was also very friendly and even fulfilled my special requests (different pasta than on the menu) without any problems. Clear recommendation!

We ate there a few times as there are hardly any other options in the area. The boss is hard to beat when it comes to unfriendliness. Constantly grumbling around in a bad mood. He doesn't care about customers' wishes. Today we went straight back. Too bad. By the way, 150m further north there is a bakery with lunch, cozy, friendly, tasteful.

Pizza was delicious but nothing special, was served quickly, owner unfortunately very unfriendly, doesn't look at you, just grunts in response and makes you feel like you're not wanted. It's a shame, it could have been a new regular, I'll never go there again and strongly advise people not to go!

If you find a restaurant in Italy, away from tourism, you can enjoy real Italian cuisine. It's the same at Osteria da Pietro. No frills. Simply original Italian cuisine and really delicious!

We wanted to give the restaurant a second chance... but it was definitely NOT worth it. The pizza is still bland, too thick and very small (a 3 out of 10) and the owner is very unfriendly and grumpy. When we wanted to pay by card, he said “for such small amounts, it’s better to use cash” (€28). We then said we would still like to pay by card and he said no, only cash is possible. The last time we paid was with a card and there was no sign anywhere on the stand that you can only pay with cash. He then got really angry and we had to pay in cash even though we didn't want to and communicated several times. Unfortunately, this was the second time that we were treated so unkindly. The first time (during the Corona period) we ordered the lunch menu to be picked up and we were refused the salad because we were picking it up and apparently there was no salad with it. After a discussion we finally got it. Well our conclusion is that the food is more like a 3-4 out of 10 and the treatment was terribly bad (especially at the end). We definitely won't go there again and can't recommend it to anyone. I can't understand the good reviews here!

Since, according to the owner, you can't pay with a card at lunchtime, we wanted to order something according to the amount of cash we had left. A drink for each person and a pizza for the children to share. We were personally directed away from the shop by the owner because he doesn't entertain guests who don't order at least one main course per person. In general, of course, it's always worth it for a three-year-old to order a complete pizza on his own.... Incidentally, in the evening, according to the owner, you can pay with a card... Dodgy...

Finally a condition that isn't so stink is super friendly!

Had Bruschetta classica and Fettuccine Salmone e Zucchini with the white house wine. It was very tasty and cozy. I can recommend this.

Große Portion, das war's dann aber auch: kein Salz, Öl oder Pfeffer zu bekommen. Als Bittsteller hat man hier nichts zu sagen.

Waren dort zum Mittagessen, Mittagskarte ist ausreichend, Preise sind ok, keine lange Wartezeit, freundlich wurden wir bedient

War zum Mittagstisch dort. Chef eher lustlos! Salat war gut angemacht. Pizza nicht genießbar, hab die Hälfte zurückgehen lassen......Lt. Chef kann man für den Preis nichts anderes erwarten. Espresso gut! Wie auch immer, nicht zu empfehlen und ich gehe da sicher nicht mehr hin.

Super Essen, der Salat ist unschlagbar …

Bester Italiener. Salat Mega gut. Pizza und Pasta top Qualität

Wir waren zum Mittagstisch dort. Zwei gut belegte Pizzen, geschmacklich absolut ok, nichts besonderes. Der Salat hingegen wirklich klasse. Toller grüner Salat mit Tomate und einem selbst gemachten Essig/Öl Dressing, zwei Getränke in 0,5 PET Flaschen. Preis ca 22 Euro. Wir wären wieder gekommen, auf jeden Fall für Salate. Was beim Bezahlen mit dem mäßig gelaunten Chef passierte, wird uns leider für die Zukunft abhalten. Er bekam knapp 4 Euro Trinkgeld, meine Flasche nahm ich mit, weil noch die Hälfte drin war. Durfte ich nicht, weil Pfand drauf sei, er hat uns deswegen nach geschriehen. Er bestand auf seine 0,25 Euro. Und das bei einem vorigen Trinkgeld von ca 20% zum eigentlichen Preis. Bekam er natürlich sofort anstandslos. Das hätte sicher besser gelöst werden können.

In der Olgastraße waren wir gerne dort. Jetzt in der Wendelgardstraße war das der Erste (und wohl auch Letzte) Besuch.Die Bedienung vom Wirt war eher lustlos; Emine Belagänderung (Weglassen von Pepperoni) wurde für den Mittagstisch verneint. Der grüne Salt mit Tomatendeko schmeckte allen nach Fisch … Pizza war ok aber nix besonderes. Schade. War von dort besseres gewohnt. Und die Getränke? Gabs. Nur in 0,5l-Fläschchen zu 3,80 … also kein „kleines Spezi“ ..

Wir waren beim Mittagstisch. Essen gerade noch okay. Pizza und Nudeln geschmacklos. Salat nur mit Essig und Öl lieblos angemacht. Bedienung vom Chef lustlos. Getränke aus der Plastikflasche. Die Einrichtung ganz nett aber nichts besonderes. Für den Preis hätte ich mehr erwartet.

Ich war in der Mittagspause mit einem guten Bekannten beim Mittagstisch. Geschmacklich war das Essen sehr gut. Die Portionen waren groß. Hier wurden wir sehr freundlich bedient und echt sehr nett empfangen. Echt eine Empfehlung wenn man in der Mittagspause einmal italienisch zum Essen gehen möchte in Friedrichshafen.

Die Osteria Da Pietro hat nun einen neuen Standort in der Wendelgardstraße gefunden. Das Essen schmeckt nach wie vor ausgesprochen gut und ist sehr zu empfehlen - ob vor Ort oder to go. Pietro und seine Frau sind tolle Gastgeber, die sich stets um ihre Gäste kümmern und mit ehrlicher, italienischer Küche überzeugen. Weiter so!
