Wir hatten einen rundum gelungenen Abend im Kommodore. Die Lage direkt am Bodensee mit Blick auf den Yachthafen ist einfach traumhaft. Das Essen war frisch, geschmackvoll und schön angerichtet, die Portionen großzügig und das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis absolut fair. Besonders hervorheben möchte ich den freundlichen und aufmerksamen Service – man fühlt sich vom ersten Moment an willkommen. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder und können das Restaurant uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen!

Wir hatten einen wirklich schönen Aufenthalt. Das Essen war sehr gut – sowohl die Pizzen als auch die Fleischgerichte waren super lecker. Wir saßen draußen auf der Terrasse direkt am See, was wirklich ein Highlight ist. Ein großes Lob geht an das gesamte Service-Team: Alle Bedienungen waren ausnahmslos sehr nett, freundlich und kompetent. Die Preise sind der erstklassigen Lage entsprechend in Ordnung. Ein runder Besuch, wir kommen gerne wieder!

Wir waren heute zum ersten Mal da. Super lecker und so eine freundliche Bedienung (blond-haben leider nicht nach dem Namen gefragt). Absolut toller Service und das Essen (Thai Curry mit Hähnchenbrust) war unfassbar lecker!

Sehr leckeres Essen in einem netten Ambiente. Bei schönem Wetter draußen zu sitzen ist perfekt. Die Karte ist haiptsächlich italienisch geprägt, hat aber auch Schwäbische Gerichte. Alles ist sehr lecker.

Wenn Sie in der Nähe sind, sollten Sie diesen Ort unbedingt besuchen! ;) Professionelles und freundliches Personal, fantastisches Essen und ein perfektes Ambiente erwarten Sie. Ich kann dieses Restaurant wärmstens empfehlen! :)

Der perfekte Ort für eine tolle Zeit! Pasta, Pizza, Fleisch – hier gibt es alles! Der Service ist erstklassig. Wir hatten sogar unsere Regenschirme vergessen, und der Kellner kam sofort angerannt, um sie uns zurückzubringen! 👍😁

Immer wieder eine Freude im Kommodore einzukehren. Gute Speisen und freundlicher Service gehören dazu. Es ist schön in einem maritimen Ambiente in Friedrichshafen beim WYC Gast zu sein. Auch im Winter lässt sich so die kommende Segelsaison gut erwarten.

Super Abend! Wir waren geschäftlich während der Messezeit dort und hatten entsprechend reserviert. Leider war es noch sehr voll als wir da waren, aber kein Problem. Der Service hat uns direkt einen Platz an der Bar mit eine Getränk aufs Haus zur Überbrückung angeboten. (Dauerte auch nur 5-10min da war der Tisch frei) Leckeres Essen! Sehr guter Service!

Mein Lieblingsessen vom letzten Jahr, das ich 2025 wieder essen durfte, war einfach perfekt – ich musste 2026 unbedingt wiederkommen. 10/10! Die besten Käsespätzle überhaupt! Ich empfehle sie mit Schweinemedaillons in Burgundersauce. Und dazu noch eine atemberaubende Aussicht und fantastische Musik!

Schwabenschmaus (29,60€) vom Restaurant Kommodore im Yachtklub Friedrichshafen. Super freundlicher und zuvorkommender Service, schöner Sitzbereich mit maritimer Dekoration und Blick zum See. Die Garnelen als Vorspeise (14,80€) waren ein Genuss, wirklich perfekt mit toller Knoblauch Sauce. Der Hauptgang war lecker, die Käsespätzle sehr gut, der Sauce zum Fleisch hätte etwas mehr Pfiff oder Gewürz nicht geschadet. Die Preise sind in Ordnung.

Sehr zu empfehlen, sehr nettes Personal, die trotz vielen Gästen freundlich und gelassen waren. Es ist nicht ganz günstig, aber dafür auch toll fürs Auge. Wir waren mit einer kleinen Gruppe zum Geburtstag da.

Selten hat mich ein Gericht so glücklich gemacht wie das Hirschgulasch mit Semmelknödel, Rotkohl und Birne in Glühwein geschmort… Ein geschmacklicher Höhepunkt der seinesgleichen sucht. Danke danke danke! Ich freue mich auf das nächste Mal 🙏🏼

Preis-Leistung-Verhältnis ist gut. Das Essen war ziemlich lecker aber nicht besonders. Die Lage ist TOP! Der Ausblick ist super toll. Einheimisches Bier ist sehr köstlich und frisch. . Bedienung war nett und freundlich. Vielen Dank.

Nach einem Vortrag im Graf-Zeppelin-Haus habe ich dieses Restaurant zum Abendessen besucht. Bestellt habe ich ein VEGETARISCHES Currygericht ... serviert wurde mir CURRY HÄHNCHEN - der Kartoffelpüree mit Gemüse hat mir zwar gut geschmeckt, aber musste daher leider mit " halbem Magen " die Heimreise antreten. Die zuständige Bedienung hat sich zwar bei mir entschuldigt - aber der Nachlass von 3 Euro (!) fand ich echt lächerlich. Bezahlt habe ich für die Johann-schorle 0,4 l - 4,80 - für das bisschen Kartoffelbrei mit Gemüse im Endeffekt 21,90 Euro (!)

As always, everything was absolutely top-notch. A visit is highly recommended.

We were there in the evening; it's a great place with a friendly atmosphere and delicious food. It's located near the embankment, offering a gorgeous night view of the opposite shore of Lake Constance, as well as the starry sky on a clear day. It's perfect for both intimate gatherings with friends and a romantic date.

Beautifully situated on Lake Constance. Next door is the Graf Zeppelin House. Beautiful lakeside promenade. All the way to the Zeppelin Museum.

The ambiance was very nice and located almost directly on the lake. The prices were high, in keeping with the region and the location. If the price had reflected the value for money, that would have been acceptable for this hotspot. Unfortunately, I have to say that the portion size was not good. For my main course, I chose the Käsespätzle because of its regional origins. For a small surcharge, I had the Käsespätzle with ham. Everyone else who ordered Käsespätzle received a salad beforehand. Because of my surcharge and the ham option, I didn't receive a salad beforehand. This irritated me, and when I asked why, I was left unanswered, only to be confirmed that it was true. Strange. Furthermore, my portion of Käsespätzle was a good side dish, but significantly too small for a main course. Even the salad beforehand (if there had been one) wouldn't have made up for it. The Spätzle tasted good, though. A companion had ordered pasta, and when the pasta was handed over, she asked for Parmesan cheese. "Coming right away" was the reply. After a good seven minutes and a half-empty plate, we asked again. "Coming right away" was the reply. When the plate was almost empty, the Parmesan cheese arrived after another seven to ten minutes. The restaurant wasn't overcrowded. All in all, it was rather disappointing for me.

The two of us went to the Kommodore for dinner. To be on the safe side, I called at lunchtime and reserved a table. When we arrived, it looked like there were still plenty of free tables available. However, they filled up very quickly, and we were glad we had made a reservation. We were shown to a very nice, free table. The staff was very friendly and attentive. The menus were handed to us open (not just slapped down on the table). The menu is very varied. The food arrived very quickly. The dishes were very good and plentiful. Payment by credit card (by watch) worked perfectly. This restaurant is highly recommended.

Great restaurant near the lake. We had dinner with friends and were very satisfied. We shared a salad and a large 45cm pizza between two people. I have to say, the pizza was really delicious and well-topped; it would also be good for three people. The staff was very friendly and accommodating...👍👍🍕When the weather is nice, you can sit outside. The prices aren't cheap, but that makes up for the quality. We'd be happy to go back...👍😉😊

We originally stopped by just for a drink, but after seeing the delicious food being served around us, we decided to stay for a meal. We had been craving pizza for a few days, so we went for it. The flavors were excellent, the service was fast and attentive, and the place had a pleasant and comfortable atmosphere. Overall, it was a great experience. I felt relaxed and well taken care of, and I would definitely come back.

The table was OK and big enough. Ordering was very quick, and the food was truly exceptional. I ordered the Commodore pizza. How can I put it... simply perfect. The Thai curry with chicken was amazing, and the wine matched the overall concept. Worth a visit. I would say this is a place where you'll be happy to be pampered. The price is OK, but justified by the service. PS: Reserving a table may not be necessary, but it makes it easier for the staff to seat you.

I gave the restaurant a truthful review three years ago based on a very bad personal experience – not a good one, of course, because the experience was simply terrible. This started right from the time I made the reservation. At the time, the owner also commented on it, questioning my credibility and calling me a liar. Today I was informed that Google had removed my review. Unfortunately, some people can't handle criticism and thus falsify their reviews. Tip: Take criticism seriously and consider what you can do to reduce the number of reviews. You've definitely lost me as a guest, and I love telling this story about what happened back then :)

I had reserved a table for 7 people and 1 child on the terrace for 5:30 p.m. on June 28, 2025. This was confirmed by email on June 17, 2025. When we arrived, none of the staff knew about the reservation. That's unacceptable. If we had arrived later, we wouldn't have been able to get a seat and would have had to sit inside in the heat. Otherwise: very friendly service and good food.

For this food and this service, I'm happy to give it 5 stars! The tender ox cheeks and crisp vegetables were so delicious, you'd skip the mashed potatoes... Top-notch restaurant, and thanks for the tip about Lukullum in Friedrichshafen.

We've been coming to our favorite restaurant, Kommodore, regularly for years and have always been impressed by the quality of the food, the impeccable and friendly service, and the wonderful atmosphere. Unfortunately, during our last visit a few days ago, we discovered that the portion sizes of our three main courses had decreased significantly. Please reconsider this policy.

The food was quite good. Ordered a seafood soup and main dish. Upon payment I offered 10% tip for the server, but she added over 18%. That is the reason for the 2*, otherwise it would easily be a 5* review.

I particularly recommend the grilled zander fillet with herb potatoes – cooked to perfection, fresh, and lovingly prepared. The homemade pizza also impresses with its crispy base and high-quality ingredients. There are also good options for vegetarians, which I highly value. The service was attentive, friendly, and professional. Although the restaurant was busy, we were served promptly and felt welcome at all times. The prices of €20–30 per person are absolutely justified considering the quality, location, and service. Another plus point: The option to reserve a table online via the website is easy and convenient. For me, this is a clear favorite in Friedrichshafen – I'll definitely be back.
