A magical evening!!! The weather, the restaurant, the service and the food... I was able to celebrate my birthday here a few days ago... we were all thrilled and would love to come back 😀

The Spreewehrmühle in Cottbus was the perfect place for our class reunion. The food was excellent, the service was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere in the historic mill was very cozy. What was particularly impressive was how much the team cared about our wishes. They addressed all individual concerns and ensured that our meeting was a complete success. We felt completely at home and can only recommend the Spreewehrmühle!

Today we had a delicious meal again, outside in nature, just great. I love the veal schnitzel, including all the trimmings. Service really nice, accommodating and always friendly, even if the sun from above makes you sweat a lot. Until next time 😃😃

I have been to the Spreewehrmühle several times now and have always been absolutely satisfied. Nice people, delicious food and a great ambience. Always my pleasure. PS: The location is also great for group events such as class reunions.

The Spreewaldmühle is great! When you sit outside, you look at the greenery. The audience is very pleasant. The food is delicious and the service is super friendly, especially Marco! We had a small cigar mishap, but after a short complaint we immediately received a personal apology. Given the circumstances, it would have been great if a free beer or something similar had been offered as compensation. The gesture would have been the ultimate here. All in all, a great experience and an absolute recommendation!

We had gone on a bike ride and wanted to grab a bite to eat and something to drink. After we asked for a place in the shade, we were rudely told that there was no place in the shade. We stood at the entrance a little unsure. Suddenly the waiter came towards us again. In a rude tone towards the guest, we were told to sit at a table in the shade. Today we spontaneously went to the Spreewehrmühle after our walk with the children. As always, the lentils were very tasty and the portions were also adapted to our wishes for the children. We stayed for dinner and what can I say… I have never eaten such a delicious and tender veal chop with tagliatelle with chanterelle cream sauce.

We were super satisfied, very nice and polite staff, people like to make jokes, people really like to stay there longer, people often ask if everything is okay and if they need anything else. A tip was also necessary because we have never been served as well as we were there! 😊 We'd love to come back! 😊

The food tasted great and the portion was so big that I couldn't finish my plate. The service is great and the waiter who served us was very nice and funny. The service is quick. There are places both outside and inside.

Restaurant has a top long location on the Spree! The food tastes good but also has a good price. The restaurant needs a little modernization on the outside. Otherwise the restaurant is recommended.

Went there to eat, everything was fine, small minus point, the restaurant can't do anything about it, the Cottbus sewage treatment plant says hello when the wind conditions are unfavorable.

Very scenic and quiet restaurant without any hustle and bustle! The operators Marko and Dominik guided through the menu, there were always three additional fresh dishes. The two of them also gave us some great insider tourist information. We were guests at the Spreemühle 3 times in one week in Cottbus! The dishes were all made from fresh ingredients. The menu offered something for every taste. The ambience on the outside terrace under the big tree was fantastic, no comparison to the city. My sports friend Willi and I were very satisfied!!!!! I don't want to tell you about the fantastic selection of fruit schnapps, otherwise......!

The place itself is very well preserved. Reminds me a little of the Spreewald. The location is beautiful on the Spree in the middle of the forest. Spreewald stop. The service is very nice. The service fulfills every wish and is very friendly. For dinner I had chicken breast fillet with duke potatoes and mango ragout. I don't normally eat meat with mango but I have to say it went well. A mixture of sweetness and spiciness in the mouth tasted very good. For dessert I took the spiced meat. Was also very tasty. The prices are quite high for an average earner but you get a good combination of service, ambience and quality. If you want to treat yourself to something, you can do it here. All in all a good place to switch off and enjoy. You should visit the place once.

We stayed here for 1 night. Unfortunately we didn't have any more time. The holiday apartment is fantastically beautiful and is very quietly located between the city center of Cottbus and the Spreewald. The employees are very friendly, nice and helpful. The food and drinks are very tasty.😋 We will definitely be guests there again and then take more time. Many thanks for everything and many more satisfied guests.

Beautiful excursion destination, we were very enthusiastic about the mill restaurant and the surrounding area, the food was excellent and friendliness is also very important to the dog. We will definitely come back.

Unfortunately, I wasn't served by a foreign employee even though there were free seats, even when I asked! He wouldn't serve us because he knew my company and they wouldn't be welcome. It's a shame, but this employee should be fired immediately! Unfriendly, arrogant and cheeky and not even able to speak German properly!

We ate asparagus with veal schnitzel. It was very good. Extremely nice staff. Nice atmosphere on the covered terrace. Motorcyclists are welcome. Gladly again.

Had dinner there today in beautiful weather. The location at the Spreewehrmühle is just fantastically beautiful, you can hear the water splashing a little while you sit outside in the sun. I would give 6 out of 5 stars for the service if I could. The man was very attentive and always had a casual saying on his lips, which never seemed intrusive. I had the mustard cucumber soup and the shandy plate to eat. The combination of flavors in the shandy plate was already very tasty, but the soup surpassed everything. By far the best soup I've ever tasted. For that reason alone it is worth a visit. Immediately again at any time!

The restaurant is both a great excursion destination and a pleasant location for family celebrations. Children won't be bored either, as there is also a playground. The cuisine and service are very good.

Nobody can really do anything about the wind direction. However, if the guest's sensitive nose doesn't perceive warm spring breezes but rather the stench of the very nearby sewage treatment plant, then that doesn't invite you to linger. Nut ice cream sundae at a hefty price - containing three hazelnuts - I was here again after decades and probably won't stay here again.

The service was bad, the waiter was unfriendly, at first we were ignored because we sat down outside without registering. Overall, there was a long wait for everything, and the ice cream didn't taste good either. Not a nice experience for a visit from Cologne.

Nice restaurant. Eating well, the meat was pretty dry. Service hardly available. Lots of staff and too rarely with guests. We would definitely have had one more drink each if someone had asked. Cozy restaurant.......but unfortunately I can only rate it poorly because I ordered a farmer's breakfast and when it came it looked very appealing, but it was too salty Without any problem, at least at first, the waiter took it back and brought me a new one... but only half the size, without the tomato that was previously on it and the other waiter stood next to me, waited and said to me: oh well see how it is now and no reaction whatsoever to my comment: it's only half as big as it was before! An absolute bad habit and a serious degree of rudeness towards the guest! In addition, the first waiter came to the table every now and then and said: he had tried my farmer's breakfast and didn't think it was too salty! He also asked my wife what she thought of her farmer's breakfast...but their tastes are completely different. It's a total disgrace towards me as a guest! This entire situation is just unbelievable. So I paid twice as much, almost 13 euros, for the small farmer's breakfast that was delivered later As an upscale gastronomy that can be recognized, this is a disgrace in my eyes Waiting time for our food order was 1.5 hours!

We spent yesterday there on Sunday and were very disappointed with both the food and the service. The waiter who served us was very pushy with a sarcastic, fake friendliness. He got so close that he spit in your face while talking. The lentils, which were obviously not freshly prepared, left a lot to be desired. You can also smoke the older waiter's pipe. When he asked whether everything was okay and we gave him our honest opinion, he felt it was necessary to discuss things further and reacted very annoyed and dismissive. After that we were no longer checked on.

We celebrated my husband's 40th birthday. We had the winter garden to ourselves. Super nice atmosphere. The service, simply great! Friendly, accommodating and above all very funny.:-) The food was also super tasty. We felt like we were in great hands and will definitely be back soon. Totally recommended 👍🏼

Sehr netter und aufmerksamer Service. Das Essen bzw die verschiedenen Gerichte die wir hatten waren sehr lecker. Ein kleiner Verbesserungsvorschlag: den Eingang bzw die Stufen dorthin "behinderten gerechter" gestalten.

Wir waren heute kurzfristig zum Mittagessen da. Es war rundum perfekt. Super nette und kinderfreundliche Bedienung und sehr leckeres Essen. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt!

Wir konnten uns alle sehr wohl hier fühlen. Das Personal lässt sich auf jeden einzelnen Gast ein und ist für jeden Spaß zu haben. Sehr positiv und humorvoll, was zu einer super Stimmung beiträgt. Das Essen ist sehr lecker, wir kommen auf alle Fälle wieder! Danke für einen schönen Abend!

Sehr aufmerksames Personal. Auf das Essen haben wir ca. 20 min gewartet, was und positiv überrascht hat, denn die Gaststätte war sehr voll. Das Essen, wir hatten Gänsekeule hat uns auch geschmeckt. Wir waren an einem Sonntag zum Mittagessen da.

Ein Spaziergang an der Spree und für ein kurzes Päuschen hier einkehren ist eine super Idee.

Sehr gutes Essen, ein großes Lob in die Küche - Personal immer freundlich und aufmerksam - tolle Deko - immer was Neues auf der Karte - wir empfehlen dieses Haus reinen Gewissens weiter und kommen gerne wieder

Bereits vier Tage vor dem eigentlichen Essengehen am Sonntag haben wir im Restaurant angerufen und sowohl unseren Tisch als auch unsere Gerichte (2 x Gänsekeule mit Rotkohl und Knödel) bestellt. Neben der vor Ort zusätzlich georderten Vorspeise war der Servicemitarbeiter sehr überrascht, als ich ihm sagte, dass wir wie besprochen gern unseren Hauptgang bekommen möchten. Das Essen kam leider kalt aus der Küche. Zugeben, ich reagierte etwas unsanft: "Wofür bestellen wir vor? Was habt ihr denn gekoch, wenn letztendlich alles nicht einmal lauwarm serviert wird?". Unser Essen werde nun neu gemacht. Zweiter Versuch: Alles dampfend warm, nur die Gänsekeule vielleicht eher ein Keulchen (gewiss keine angepriesenen 450g) und total zäh. Für 31€ pro Gericht, was sicherlich nicht ungewöhnlich aber eben auch kein "Schnapper" ist! Meine Lebensgefährtin bat mich, mich zu beruhigen, schnell zu essen und nach dem Zahlen einfach zu gehen. Dem zu Trotz erwartete als Entschuldigungsgeste uns noch eine Nachspreisenplatte. Nett gemeint, aber eben nicht (nach dem Warten und der Wut) mehr unserem Gemütszustand entsprechend. Einen, wie zu erwarten gewesen wäre, kleinen Preisnachlass oder eine Gutschein als Möglichkeit der Revision gab es nicht. In Anbetracht der Tatsache, dass wir für knapp 100€ (inklusive Getränke, Vorspeise und Trinkgld) schlecht speisen waren und nun auch nicht wirklich in den Genuss des Ausgehens haben kommen können, eigentlich nicht nachvollziehbar. Aufgrund der Lage aber werden wir wiederkommen. Wenn auch nur in der Vorstellung, im Sommer Köpi trinkend auf der Terrasse zu verweilen. Zum Essen ist die Spreewehrmühle eine Vollkastatrophe.
