Cafe Restaurant Rohan in Ettenheim

Coincidentally ended up here after a day at Europa Park. Service was very good. The steaks and burgers are great! The fries and salads (included) were also delicious..

We were there for dinner and had a very good meal. The portions were huge even the children's plate was huge, which is a normal portion elsewhere. 👍🏻

The restaurant has a cozy atmosphere and the service was good and friendly, but not intrusive. Food was good and plentiful, everything was clean, including the toilet. Thanks for the nice evening

Have tried it here many times... A lot of things taste and look like frozen products; you get full. The service is nice, but seems disorganized. But it's nice to sit at the fountain in the middle of the old town.

I don't know how you came to the conclusion that I was on the phone. I waited 30 minutes. The ice came over and overflowed. The staff was totally overwhelmed. I even apologized to every table, using the excuse that my colleague was overwhelmed. A joke and uncollegial. Please read all the reviews, everyone has spoken on the phone. I don't think my rating is a coincidence. In this profession you have to be able to deal with reviews and criticism.

We were in Ettenheim in August and spent a very nice evening in the Rohan restaurant. The team is very committed and put together a few tables for us. We sat outside by the fountain and enjoyed the atmosphere. The food was very tasty. If we're in the area again, we'll definitely come back.

We only went for dinner a couple of days and we really liked it. The space is very pleasant, especially the terrace in summer. It is one of the places that close later in Ettenheim but it is still early for Spain. The staff communicates well in English and are very patient explaining the dishes and helping to choose.

We are traveling from Italy to Holland and stayed overnight at the beautiful Café Rohan in the baroque town of Ettenheim. We received a very friendly welcome, we ate, drank and were looked after by professional staff. It is recommended to stay overnight if you are passing through, and the food was all excellent. Delicious food for a low price, pizza for 11 euros. A large burger for 14 euros and a large cup of ice cream with beautiful decorations for 9 euros. the service is sometimes a bit slower, depends on the staff on the evening. Low price and large portions. Recommended

After a day in Roulatica I stopped at this lovely bar-restaurant in Ellehim. I ate outdoors on a well-ventilated day. We had a great time. After a somewhat cold approach from the waiters, a nice girl who served us took care of us. Menu only in German and they speak little/no English but we understand each other anyway. The burgers were excellent, the pizza looked good too.

After a day at EuropaPark, we were able to get a table for the family on the terrace. Delicious food and drinks, very attentive and friendly service. Good price/quality ratio and the pasta carbonara has those delicious locally smoked bacon in it.

I really enjoyed the terrace. The service is friendly and efficient. The dishes are generous and very good.

Despite the alarmingly high temperature the waitresses remained calm and friendly. Ice-cream ok but not exciting. The coffee was a large one and with indeed a good coffee taste. Wheat beer nice, not ice cold, so that it's taste came out very well. Pictures are from the street behind the restaurant, by the way.

Nicely located cafe in the old town of Ettenheim. Nice but overwhelmed staff. Orders were simply forgotten several times, or items ordered were suddenly sold out. We had four ice cream sundaes and four drinks, of which one drink and one ice cream sundae were forgotten. The prices for the ice cream sundaes are very high considering the portions, the price/performance ratio doesn't fit at all.

Today, July 17th, 2024, I was with my wife in the outdoor area, which was about a third occupied by guests. We both ordered spaghetti ice cream. When the waitress brought the ice cream after a long time, there was no longer any spaghetti to be seen because the ice cream had already melted. It's just liquid - that's not possible! The service itself was also unfriendly. We were there last time!

Excellent! If you know the system of Michelin stars this restaurant is worth a detour! The service was fantastic and the schnitzel was one of the best we’ve tried in Germany. Soo smooth and delicious. Can really recommend this place. We will be back. Family Hall from Sweden .

The food was very good and the staff was super nice. Sitting by the fountain was simply comfortable. And when it got cooler in the evenings, they simply brought us a blanket. So we were really guests 😊👍

We were passing through there and after a short walk through the town, the path led us directly to this beautiful café restaurant. There is a fountain in the middle of the tables. Our son happily played with the glowing balls that are in this fountain while we waited. They are very family friendly and the service was really exceptionally friendly and accommodating. The burger and pizza were very tasty. However, my husband was particularly enthusiastic about the fries. Overall, we would always stop by this place and the RV parking space.

Das Café liegt sehr schön mitten im Ort. Man kann im Freien um einen netten Brunnen sitzen. Das Essen ist ok. Die Bedienung war ausgesprochen freundlich.

Wir haben spät Abends für 8 Personen ohne Probleme bei gut gefülltem Restaurant einen Tisch bekommen, das Essen war lecker und preiswert, die Bedienung sehr freundlich - dadurch haben wir am nächsten Tag beschlossen, dort nochmals mit vorhergehender Reservierung zu essen. Viele Grüße aus Unterfranken an das ganze Team und besonders an die Geschwistern hinter der Theke.

Tagliatelle mit Garnelen, Pizza, Rumpsteak mit Salat und Eis waren sehr gut. The place to be, vor allem am Abend. Ein fröhlicher Marktplatz in einem sehr ruhigen kleinen Ort. Hier ist es lebendig, die Menschen essen und trinken, Familien holen sich ein Eis und flanieren. Viele Touristen, viele Sprachen.

Hier een ijscoup gegeten. De coupe was niet super. Ijs had volgens mij al even in de vriezer gelegen. Was gekristaliseert. Vond ze ook redelijk aan de prijs. 7.50 per coup

Das warme Essen war eher Quantität vor Qualität. Ich hätte lieber ein leckeres Schnitzel und eine normale Portion knuspriger Pommes gehabt, anstelle von zwei super fettigen Schnitzeln mit einem Berg von Labberfritten, die sogar beim Anblick von McDonalds vor Neid erblassen würden. Ähnlich erging es meiner Begleitung. Dessen Spätzle anstelle von Pommes waren jedoch eine noch schlechtere Wahl, die mit Magenkrämpfen belohnt wurde. Freundliches Personal hilft da leider wenig.

Yesterday me and my friends wanted to have a late dinner at Rohan at 21:15 We were told by their own staff the kitchen closes at 21:45 and we could order, but only pizza and pasta. Which is fine. As we sat down at a table. A waitress assured us she would bring the menu. 10 minutes past and then 20 minutes nog waitress and finally at 21:44 she came back and told us: 'sorry our kitchen is closed'. With explaination whatsoever. Absolutely awfull customer service. I never experienced something like this where the staff all tell different stories and make you wait almost 30 minutes for nothing. My honest opinion, just skip this for the customer service.

Nous avons très bien mangé, la pâte à pizza est divine, service au top, malgré que nous parlons français, le personnel essaye de nous comprendre et de faire au mieux pour que l'on se sente bien.

Wir waren heute 10min vor der Mittagspause der Küche vor Ort. Uns wurde trotzdem noch Essen zubereitet. Pizzen, Spagetti Cabonara und Winzerbrot waren sehr lecker. Ganz besonderes Lob geht auch an unseren jungen Kellner 😉 auch weil leider die Coke Zero leer war und es die Light nicht in groß gab. War gar nicht slimm 🤣 Wir hatten mit allem drum und dran einen schönen Start in unseren Urlaub. Vielen Dank dafür von uns Hamburgern 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Wij hebben hier lekkere pizza's gegeten. Bediening was vriendelijk en alert. Er was extra aandacht voor onze zoon. 🙂

Hebben hier wat gegeten, vrouwelijke serveersters vriendelijk en doen hun best. De man die er werkt deed wat kortaf en toen we vroegen om mayonaise zei hij dat het op was en liep weg. Vervolgens aan de serveerster gevraagd en die kon het wel aan ons geven? Eten was lekker maar hebben hier bijna 1,5 uur op moeten wachten.

I was cycling through Ettenheim on a Sunday. There was not much open and I was mainly attracted to Cafe Rohan because of the truly lovely outdoor seating area. What a surprise to find that the food was super, super tasty. I had a vegetarian pasta that was just bursting with rich tomato flavours. I did have to wait a while for it, but.... it's a small town so you can't expect city service and, as I said, the wait was totally worth it. There was also some riesling to make the wait go faster. Prices are also very reasonable.

Mitten im Ort, an einem schönen Platz mit großem Brunnen und Außengastro gelegen. Das Zimmer war riesig, mehr eine Wohnung! Alles super sauber! Ideal, wenn man in der Nähe des Europaparks und nahe Rulantica auch mit einer größeren Familie übernachten möchte. Die Kinderkissen, die wir leider vergessen hatten, wurden uns nach einem kurzen Telefonat kostenfrei nachgesendet! Vielen Dank - jederzeit gern wieder!

La terraza es agradable, hubo un malentendido con la comanda porque no se pidió a cocina y han tardado una eternidad hasta que lo reclamamos, como estoy de vacaciones y un fallo lo puede tener cualquiera pues... La cerveza buena, el precio razonable. La comida es buena.

Wenn man sich schon mal die schöne Barockstadt Ettenheim anschaut, sollte man auf jeden Fall das Café Restaurant Rohan mitnehmen. Mit einem schönen Brunnen in der Mitte, lädt dieses Café zum Einkehren ein! Ich habe mir dort ein Cheeseburger bestellt, super lecker!!! mit extra viel Pommes, die auch selber gemacht wurden!

Wir wurden äußerst freundlich und schnell bedient, und das Essen schmeckt einfach köstlich. Ich wurde noch nie enttäuscht. Die Sitzgelegenheiten am Brunnen mitten im Dorf vermitteln eine angenehm entspannte Atmosphäre. Ich komme immer wieder sehr gerne hierher.

Die Bedienung mit den langen schwarzen Haaren, ist sehr freundlich. Sie ist sehr respektvoll, flink und offen gegenüber den Gästen. Essen war gut. Eis ist lecker.

Unkompliziertes, lockeres Bistro-Restaurant mit lokalem badischen und italienischem Einschlag und moderaten Preisen. Draussen stimmungsvoll am Brunnen gelegen erfreut einen ein aufmerksamer fixer Service. Alles prima!
