The food tastes good and the prices are good. The staff is really nice and very friendly. We only ate there.

We arrived in Ettenheim after a 10-hour train ride, exhausted and hungry, and immediately after checking into the apartment, we headed for the town center. The first restaurants were either closed or didn't appeal to us, and then we found the Rohan in idyllic surroundings. We ordered winemaker's cake and it looked and tasted fantastic. We were also full. What also struck us was the service. We've rarely experienced such friendly, attentive, and, above all, prompt service. And not fake, but genuinely enthusiastic about what we do. Added to that, the unbeatable value for money. If we ever find ourselves in Ettingen again, we'll definitely be back at the Rohan.

Very nice there and delicious ice cream

We ate here several times during our stay in Ettenheim. Good food and plenty of it. You will not leave hungry. Ice cream is good too. Sometime the service is a bit slow, but just have patience. It usually gets busy around 18:30-19:00.

Absolutely lovely restaurant! The ice cream is a must-try, truly delicious and the staff are incredibly friendly and attentive. They always check in to make sure everything is perfect, which makes you feel really welcome. The food is also excellent, and honestly, the pizza here is among the best I’ve had in Germany so far. I totally recommend this place plus, communication is super easy, whether in English or German. Definitely worth a visit!

The atmosphere is cozy and inviting – you simply feel at home. The location is also particularly beautiful: right in the center of Ettenheim's picturesque town center. Whether for breakfast, lunch, or just a coffee – a visit is always worthwhile! I'll definitely be back. A true asset to Ettenheim!

This afternoon we came for dinner. I had spaghetti and my friend had pizza, and it was also very tasty. Service was very nice & polite. Everything went very quickly and tasted great. Recommended.

I had to order twice in the cafe because there was no service outside on the terrace. Only three of ten tables were occupied. The employee preferred to play on her cell phone rather than look outside. Unfortunately, the ice cream didn't meet the specifications on the menu either.

After a long drive with tired and hungry children, we stumbled across this lovely restaurant. It was a cold, miserable evening. It was late, and they were about to close. But the staff here were absolutely amazing. We found a cosy table downstairs and ordered pasta dishes and drinks off the menu. Despite there being a small language barrier, the guy serving did a great job. When the food arrived a short time later, it was absolutely incredible. Wow. My children are fussy eaters but polished off the Spaghetti Bolognaise whilst they kept telling us how yummy it was. My wife and I had some of the best pasta, too. And then, to top it off, the bill was really good. I could not fault the service, food , or value for money. If I'm ever in that part of Germay again, then I will definitely be back at the Cafe Restaurant Rohan. Thank you to the staff.

Coincidentally ended up here after a day at Europa Park. Service was very good. The steaks and burgers are great! The fries and salads (included) were also delicious..

After a day at Europapark, I was looking for a restaurant to eat. I ended up at this one and was very satisfied. The food was delicious and the price was good. The staff was also friendly.

Have tried it here many times... A lot of things taste and look like frozen products; you get full. The service is nice, but seems disorganized. But it's nice to sit at the fountain in the middle of the old town.

I don't know how you came to the conclusion that I was on the phone. I waited 30 minutes. The ice came over and overflowed. The staff was totally overwhelmed. I even apologized to every table, using the excuse that my colleague was overwhelmed. A joke and uncollegial. Please read all the reviews, everyone has spoken on the phone. I don't think my rating is a coincidence. In this profession you have to be able to deal with reviews and criticism.

We were in Ettenheim in August and spent a very nice evening in the Rohan restaurant. The team is very committed and put together a few tables for us. We sat outside by the fountain and enjoyed the atmosphere. The food was very tasty. If we're in the area again, we'll definitely come back.

We only went for dinner a couple of days and we really liked it. The space is very pleasant, especially the terrace in summer. It is one of the places that close later in Ettenheim but it is still early for Spain. The staff communicates well in English and are very patient explaining the dishes and helping to choose.

We are traveling from Italy to Holland and stayed overnight at the beautiful Café Rohan in the baroque town of Ettenheim. We received a very friendly welcome, we ate, drank and were looked after by professional staff. It is recommended to stay overnight if you are passing through, and the food was all excellent. Delicious food for a low price, pizza for 11 euros. A large burger for 14 euros and a large cup of ice cream with beautiful decorations for 9 euros. the service is sometimes a bit slower, depends on the staff on the evening. Low price and large portions. Recommended

After a day in Roulatica I stopped at this lovely bar-restaurant in Ellehim. I ate outdoors on a well-ventilated day. We had a great time. After a somewhat cold approach from the waiters, a nice girl who served us took care of us. Menu only in German and they speak little/no English but we understand each other anyway. The burgers were excellent, the pizza looked good too.

After a day at EuropaPark, we were able to get a table for the family on the terrace. Delicious food and drinks, very attentive and friendly service. Good price/quality ratio and the pasta carbonara has those delicious locally smoked bacon in it.

For our visit to Europa-Park last week, we spent the evening/night before in the beautiful, cozy Ettenheim and discovered this nice restaurant. The food was very tasty and above all the staff/service was super friendly! ...and our children were really happy about the ice cream at the end :-)! Thank you very much for the lovely evening!

Despite the alarmingly high temperature the waitresses remained calm and friendly. Ice-cream ok but not exciting. The coffee was a large one and with indeed a good coffee taste. Wheat beer nice, not ice cold, so that it's taste came out very well. Pictures are from the street behind the restaurant, by the way.

Nicely located cafe in the old town of Ettenheim. Nice but overwhelmed staff. Orders were simply forgotten several times, or items ordered were suddenly sold out. We had four ice cream sundaes and four drinks, of which one drink and one ice cream sundae were forgotten. The prices for the ice cream sundaes are very high considering the portions, the price/performance ratio doesn't fit at all.

Today, July 17th, 2024, I was with my wife in the outdoor area, which was about a third occupied by guests. We both ordered spaghetti ice cream. When the waitress brought the ice cream after a long time, there was no longer any spaghetti to be seen because the ice cream had already melted. It's just liquid - that's not possible! The service itself was also unfriendly. We were there last time!

Excellent! If you know the system of Michelin stars this restaurant is worth a detour! The service was fantastic and the schnitzel was one of the best we’ve tried in Germany. Soo smooth and delicious. Can really recommend this place. We will be back. Family Hall from Sweden .

The food was very good and the staff was super nice. Sitting by the fountain was simply comfortable. And when it got cooler in the evenings, they simply brought us a blanket. So we were really guests 😊👍

We were passing through there and after a short walk through the town, the path led us directly to this beautiful café restaurant. There is a fountain in the middle of the tables. Our son happily played with the glowing balls that are in this fountain while we waited. They are very family friendly and the service was really exceptionally friendly and accommodating. The burger and pizza were very tasty. However, my husband was particularly enthusiastic about the fries. Overall, we would always stop by this place and the RV parking space.

Das Café liegt sehr schön mitten im Ort. Man kann im Freien um einen netten Brunnen sitzen. Das Essen ist ok. Die Bedienung war ausgesprochen freundlich.

Wir haben spät Abends für 8 Personen ohne Probleme bei gut gefülltem Restaurant einen Tisch bekommen, das Essen war lecker und preiswert, die Bedienung sehr freundlich - dadurch haben wir am nächsten Tag beschlossen, dort nochmals mit vorhergehender Reservierung zu essen. Viele Grüße aus Unterfranken an das ganze Team und besonders an die Geschwistern hinter der Theke.
