We stayed here for one night and then drove on to Siegfried and Joy's in Freiburg today. The inn is super quaint. There's something to discover everywhere. We had a large family room. The owners are super friendly and love children. Dogs are allowed, by the way. The breakfast there was absolutely exceptional! The quality and variety were truly amazing, and we were even allowed to pack something to take home. The location is great. Europa-Park and Rutlantica are just around the corner. Freiburg is 30 minutes away. We'll definitely be back and stay a little longer.

We received a very friendly welcome. The location is close to Europa Park. The ambiance is old-school, and you can really feel the attention to detail. The breakfast was amazing: everything was fresh, including rolls, watermelon croissants, cold cuts, orange juice, coffee. The service was super friendly. They even catered for our birthdays; there was a decorated kitchen table, which was great. The beds are very comfortable, and there's parking right outside the door. You really can't complain. We're very satisfied, and the price/performance ratio is top-notch.

We stayed here for two nights as a base for Europa-Park. The owners were very flexible with our late-evening arrival! The beds were comfortable and the rooms were quaint. The breakfast was very good, with a large selection. It was also great to be able to bring a roll for the always-hungry children.

I had dinner in the brasserie of this inn, it was quite good with generous plates! The wait time was a little long, but the service had warned us that the kitchen was running late.

Owner-managed guesthouse. This is not a sterile, run-of-the-mill hotel chain building, but a house with charm and history. Of course it's a bit old, but everything is still clean. The owners are wonderfully friendly and uncomplicated, the breakfast is great. In the evenings, the in-house restaurant invites you to enjoy very good food. If you're looking for fancy chic, you've come to the wrong place. If you want to spend the night in an uncomplicated manner after a fine home-style meal with nice people, this is the right place for you! I've slept and eaten significantly worse for more money.

Went here spontaneously after EuropaPark. We enjoyed it very much. Very rustic and really still eat like grandma's. Almost everything was reserved even though it was March. At other times of the year you should make a reservation.

You can hardly find this type of inn anymore. Red and white checked curtains, lots of wood, lovingly decorated. Traditional dishes such as sour liver, Münstertal plate, half chicken. Simply very tasty and generous portions at a fair price. Very attentive and friendly service. We had a very cozy evening. The chicken roast will probably make your clothes a little tastier afterwards. But almost every Greek has this problem too, so full marks anyway. We were just eating, not in the hotel

A very quaint, nice restaurant with the touch of a local pub. “Bar” here means very warmly. The menu is not too big and there is something for every taste. The Brägele with Bibliskäs are simply a dream. The winemaker's baguette Bibliskäs and bacon (an amazing ham) baked with cheese is a great starter and can only be recommended. Prices for the dishes are more than reasonable. The service was very friendly. In the dining room you can still hear the schnitzels being made. Beer and wine very drinkable.

I come here regularly because of the delicious beef/veal liver, which has recently been replaced by pork liver/kidney. Very unfortunate and really unsavory for me personally. Since I asked the waitress that this was very unusual in Baden cuisine, I was unfortunately put off with another dish.

A very quaint, small guesthouse furnished with a lot of love. The hosts are very, very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast left nothing to be desired and was all freshly prepared with heart. We were even allowed to take the leftovers with us. We felt very comfortable and can recommend this guesthouse with a clear conscience. It's nice when you're not just a number in a hotel but are looked after very personally... it feels like home😊. We'd love to come back.

Traditional small restaurant and hotel. Restaurant tested with classics but schnitzel made in-house, you could hear the beating of the schnitzel. Children's dishes série correct for the price. Service very efficient and friendly. Delicious food and beer of course also available. The slightly special dishes like tripe were not available.

On a Saturday evening, 45 minutes before closing time, I was rudely refused something to drink! Since we wanted to sit outside, we asked if we could order something else. Quote from the waitress: “If you want something you have to come in” when we ordered “yes, we won’t do that” Very impolite

This place fed me well, very well, throughout my 10-day vacation in the Black Forest. Main dishes start at around 12 euros, and come in big servings. Their brägele are to die for. If you eat pork, I recommend having their Münstertalteller, their signature lunch dish, that will surely do well at dinner too. Good Flammkuchen and schnitzel as well. Oh, and don't forget their crispy fried chicken, it's great.

We had dinner there last night. The two ladies who served us did a great job. The kitchen was the exact opposite. We saw a sign outside that said we were looking for a kitchen helper. We think a new chef would be more appropriate. The cream sauce was watery and oily, the spaetzle was very bad, the pig had to die three times and you apparently had to bring your own spices. The bacon could have saved something, but it also had little taste. It's a real shame about the actually nice atmosphere.

Unfortunately, the meat from the Jägerschnitzel wasn't cooked through at all, so I couldn't eat it. It was also boiled rather than fried at all. The rest of the meal, the salad and spaetzle were ok but not a highlight. Service was very friendly.

After a long time I was here again and enjoyed the ambience (this time outside) and, above all, the extremely friendly service. Unfortunately, this feeling couldn't last while eating. A gourmet salad that wasn't at all worth feasting on: a handful of green lettuce that was drowning in far too much, too acidic dressing and on top of that three blobs of ready-made lettuce from the bucket, plus 3 narrow strips of pepper, a pickled pepper pod, one Strips of sheep's cheese, a tablespoon of alioli mayonnaise in the middle. The whole thing is topped with 5 strips of well-peppered steak strips. No bread. The portion of fried potatoes we ordered was large, but there were only 2-3 forkfuls of crispy potato pieces, the rest was just a mountain of small, fatty potato pieces. I was really looking forward to the previously excellent Brägele... What a shame. I'd love to come back for a beer, but not for dinner anymore.

I spent one night here and had trouble sleeping. The beds were very uncomfortable for me and the bedding wasn't my cup of tea. The attic room was warm and stuffy. Unfortunately, opening the window didn't help. You also couldn't darken the window, so it was light in the room from 5 a.m. The hostess was very nice and the breakfast was also OK.

Booked a guesthouse for a few days at Europapark. Ideal, less than a 10-minute drive. The guesthouse is located in the middle of the village of Ettenheim and has several restaurants within walking distance. The guesthouse is furnished with all kinds of curiosities and poems and sayings hang everywhere. The owners are very friendly and helpful and can give you tips about the area. The breakfast was absolutely fantastic!!

Our visit was a disappointment, apart from the two friendly service staff, who received our full praise. What sounded good as a schnitzel with cream sauce, spaetzle and salad was simply miserable in the end. The sauce, a brown ready-made broth, cheap spaetzle lukewarm. That's not enough for an otherwise cozy German restaurant.

Wir besuchen dieses einmalig gut eingerichtete Restaurant seit mindestens 3 Jahren, immer wenn wir in Kaiserstuhl sind. Allein der Anblick der Antiquitäten macht den Besuch lohnenswert. Die Bedienungen sind stets freundlich, und die Wirtin äußerst nett und höflich. Zum Geburtstag meiner Frau organisierten wir neulich einen Abend nach Absprache, und es war ein voller Erfolg. Die Speisen sind köstlich und frisch zubereitet. Ich kann dieses Restaurant uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen. Unser nächster Geburtstag wird definitiv hier gefeiert

Diese Wirtschaft können wir leider nicht empfehlen. Die Pommes waren steinhart, das Schweinelendchen hat nie eine Pfanne gesehen (war gekocht), der Feldsalat mit Maggi überwürzt. Die vegetarische Nudelpfanne bestand aus gekochten Nudeln mit Tiefkühlgemüse und etwas Käse darüber. Sehr einfallslos. Die Kürbissuppe war wässrig. Das Dessert war Eis mit kalten Himbeeren dazu saure Sahne. Schade.

Waren hier im Restaurant essen und wurden freundlich empfangen. Das Essen war sehr lecker, es gab gänsebrust mit Klöße. Knusprige Haut und zartes Fleisch, mit einer leckeren Soße und Rotkraut. Vielen Dank für das tolle Essen, gerne wieder!

Bin sowas von positiv überrascht worden....So liebe Besitzer. Wer hier in der "alten Brauerei " übernachtet wird aus dem staunen nicht herrauskommen. Ich bin für drei Tage aus Berlin hier zu Besuch. So viel Herzlichkeit vermisse ich manchesmal in Berlin. Ich bin total mit allem zufrieden. Die Menschen sehen manchmal auf eine kleine " mir nicht passende" Sache, und eine Bewertung schmeißt alle Objektivität in die " Tonne". Ich bin dankbar dass ich hier sein darf und gebe aus meiner Sicht die allerbeste Bewertung ab. Menschen die nur meckern, undankbar sind, haben es nicht verdient hier bewirtet zu werden. Ambiente: Urig Gemütlich Alt Schmuddelig und total Vernebelt dank offener Küchentür. Service: Reißt alles raus! Küche: Schnecken die nicht als Schnecken zu erkennen sind. Kalte Nudeln und Innereien nicht durch. Salat Aromat pur. Toiletten: Betriebsblindheit pur. Manche Bahnhofstoilette ist gepflegter. Preise: In Ordnung.

Die Qualität und der Geschmack des Essens im Restaurant war unterirdisch. Fertigprodukte die lieblos zubereitet waren. Die Röstzwiebeln auf meine Käsespätzle waren schwarz wie die Nacht.

Na een dagje Europa Park hebben we hier heerlijk genoten van de Wiener schnitzel met frietjes. Een grote portie, want we zijn grote eters, maar kregen het bord maar met moeite leeg. Gezellig, echt Duits, sfeertje, heel vriendelijke bediening. Een aanrader!

Freundlicher Empfang, durften schon vor 15 Uhr in unser Zimmer. Schönes Zimmer, großes Badezimmer/WC. Sehr sauber. Frühstück: Klasse !!! Besser geht's nimmer. Restaurant: Freundliche Bedienung, sehr gute Preise, guter Service und prima Essen. Daumen hoch.Gerne wieder.

Die Augen brannten im Speiseraum vom Fett der aus der Küche kam.....Kleidung musste sofort in Wäsche. Knobibrot war ein Auffbackbrötchen vom Discounter mit einfacher Kräuterbutter ebenfalls nicht selbstgemacht. Steak war zwar Medium gebraten aber zäh ohne Ende und hatte einen Geschnack nach Leber. Salat war Essig pur.....das Essen meiner Begleiter war auch sehr unscheinbar. Personal wurde auch schnippig als man sagte das Essen nicht schmeckt. Schade......

Sind hier im Urlaub und haben natürlich die heimische, für uns fremde Küche probiert. Wir hatten äußerst leckeren Flammkuchen mit Münsterkäse, sowie saure Leber und Nierle mit Brägele. Für unseren Gaumen mal was anderes, aber total lecker. Probieren geht ja bekanntlich über studieren. Bei der Auswahl hatte uns die nette Bedienung etwas geholfen und auch schnell mit Getränken versorgt. Alles in allem ein netter und gemütlicher Abend.

Wir suchten ein Lokal zum Speisen. Über Google Maps sind wir auf die alte Brauerei gestoßen. Es war eine abschreckende Bewertung🧐 zu lesen, die an diesem einen Tag wohl auch ihre Berechtigung fand. Streß unter dem Personal sollte professionell im Stillen ablaufen und 🙏nicht im Gastraum mitzubekommen sein!!! Wir waren sehr überrascht, denn genau das Gegenteil war der Fall..... SEHR ZU EMPFEHLEN 👍 Wir hatten eine von zwei netten Bedienungen: flink, sehr freundlich und sehr aufmerksam. Alles im bekannten Zeitramen abgelaufen. Wir waren rundherum zufrieden und lecker hat das reichliche Essen geschmeckt 😋 Preis Leistung perfekt.... Wir haben für den folgenden Tag gleich reserviert. Wir sind sehr gespannt. 😉

Nosotros solo fuimos a cenar y fue una experiencia recomendable totalmente. Schnitzel con Spätzle muy bueno, salchichas con un acompañamiento muy rico de patatas, y un brocoli con pasta gratinado rico. El servicio impecable y el precio muy económico. Además el sitio es pintoresco.

Ich habe hier geschäftlich übernachtet. Die Besitzer waren sehr nett und gastfreundlich. Das Frühstück war lecker, frisch und reichhaltig. Die Zimmer bzw das ganze Hotel sind urig, charmant mit Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Das Zimmer war sauber aber ziemlich warm (da Dachgeschoss und Holzhaus). Ein Ventilator im Zimmer ist aber vorhanden. Wer modern und steril mag ist hier an der falschen Adresse für alle anderen eine klare Weiterempfehlung. Parkplätze sind um das Haus vorhanden und abends/nachts kostenlos.

Leider hat man uns jetzt als Kunde verloren 😒. Heute auf 18.00 Uhr hatten wir einen Tisch reserviert. Nach ca. 25 min. kam endlich die Bedienung mit der Speisekarte und nahm die Getränke auf. Getränke kamen dann ca. 10 min. später. Soweit gut. Bedienung nahm unsere Bestellung auf. Wir warten, warten und warten. Waren schon sehr verärgert. Bin dann rein um zu fragen wie lange es noch dauert mit dem Essen. Dabei wurde ich leider Zeuge,das es in der Küche mit der Chefin und der Küchenhilfe zu Unstimmigkeiten kam und die Küchenhilfe ist gegangen. Personal komplett überfordert. Eine Ähnliche Situation hatten wir im Mai schon mal dort erlebt. Wir sind immer gerne dort Essen gegangen,weil es immer sehr lecker schmeckt. Aber so etwas wie heute geht gar nicht. Um 19.45 Uhr hatten wir immer noch kein Essen, geschweige nicht mal den Salat. SORRY DAS GEHT ÜBERHAUPT NICHT.

Nettes Lokal mit fairen Preisen und einer guten Küche. Wir haben hier nur gegessen, von daher kann ich die Zimmer nicht beurteilen.

Das Essen war sehr, sehr gut. Mit Abstand das beste Hähnchen das ich je gegessen habe. Die Bedienung war super freundlich und zuvorkommend. Trotz der späten Stunde (22 Uhr) haben wir noch zu essen bekommen.

Uns hat man nun leider als Kunden verloren. Nach den letzten beiden Besuchen sind wir leider nur noch enttäuscht. Beide Male wurde die Bestellung vertauscht. Zudem haben wir beim letzten Mal über 40 Minuten gewartet, bevor man überhaupt bestellen konnte bzw. die Bestellung aufgenommen wurde. Das Essen wurde lau warm gebracht, Steak war mehr als tot gegrillt und der Service sichtlich überfordert bzw. sehr unorganisiert. Wir kommen nicht mehr wieder.

Waren gestern abend in der alten Brauerei Essen. Service Personal sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Das Essen : ich hatte Hüftsteak mit Spätzle, Pfifferlinge und Rahmsosse sehr lecker Salat frisch und köstlich. Der Flammkuchen wie man ihn kennt auch sehr lecker. Wir kommen gerne hier Essen.

Service war freundlich, jedoch völlig inkompetent. Steak war Medium bestellt, kam rare. Die Servierein nahm es mit in die Küche. Dort wurde es nochmal gebraten und wieder auf dem gleichen Teller gebracht. Der Gargrad hat dann gestimmt, jedoch war das Fleisch sehr zäh. Waren früher immer zufrieden, jedoch war dies definitv unser letzter Besuch

Überhaupt nicht gut, Kellnerin war sehr inkompetent. Mussten über ne viertel Stunde warten und niemand ist gekommen. In der Zeit mindestens 10ner an uns vorbei gelaufen.

Sehr gutes Essen zum soliden Preis. Kann man mit gutem Gewissen weiterempfehlen. Wirklich Top!

Hallo ich würde dort nie wieder Essen und trinken, wir haben 30 Minuten auf unsere Getränke Bestellung warten müssen und beim Essen hat es sogar 45 Minuten gedauert und der laden war halb leer aber die ausrede es sei sehr viel zutun alles klar . Meiner Meinung nach würden Restaurants dieser art ohne Rulantica und Europapark nicht überleben. Grüße aus Stuttgart

Ich bin begeistert! Das Haus ist sehr liebevoll eingerichtet, ich liebe den alten Lock, was nicht bedeutet das es heruntergekommen ist, ganz im Gegenteil es ist sehr gepflegt, als ob man in einem Museum wäre. (Das meine ich nur im positiven Sinne) Die Zimmer sind sehr gemütlich, man hat alles was man braucht. Das Frühstück war auch sehr lecker, ich kann mich nicht beklagen. Was positives zu erwähnen ist, dass diese Gaststätte bei Too good to Go mitmacht was dafür sorgt das übrig gebliebene Lebensmittel nicht weggeschmissen werden. Dazu hatte ich wirklich noch nie so einen guten Service, der nicht gespielt ist sondern wirklich von Herzen kommt. Ettenheim ist außerdem eine wirklich schöne Stadt die man gesehen haben muss. Ausschlaggebend ist aber natürlich die nähe zum Europa Park. Vielleicht werde ich nochmal bei Gelegenheit wieder kommen, ich kann auf jeden Fall die Gaststätte voll und ganz empfehlen!
