We spontaneously stopped there for lunch. The service was very friendly :) The food was delicious. I had the Bergler-style schnitzel. The portion was top-notch and the taste was very good. Great location right next to the Nebelhornbahn cable car. We'd love to come back on vacation. Feel free to try it for yourself :)

The spinach dumplings with wild mushroom cream sauce and the Kaiserschmarrn were a dream! 🥰

Five stars for true Bavarian hospitality! I was absolutely thrilled! Bavarian cuisine is not only very tasty, but also authentically prepared - you can taste the quality and attention to detail. The service was attentive and friendly, and I would particularly like to highlight the manager: incredibly nice, warm and always there for the guests. You immediately feel welcome and completely comfortable. A real insider tip for everyone who appreciates good food and great service. I'll definitely be back!

I'm not a Kaiserschmarn fan or expert... but it was incredibly tasty 😋 great caramel crust and nice and fluffy! Great! In addition, you should eat the bacon pancake beforehand... rarely have you eaten something simple that was so delicious! The other meals are also great!

Ein tolles Lokal, super nette Bedienung. Es wurde schnell agiert, wenn das Glas leer war. Das Essen war absolut topp, auch das Verhältnis Preis/Leistung, passt. Wir wünschen der Familie weiterhin einen guten Zulauf.

A big culinary surprise. Somewhat inconspicuously to the left of the tourist hustle and bustle at the valley station of the Nebelhornbahn, a real haven of peace. The menu is clearly short with straightforward regional classics in a modern interpretation, whether sweet or savory or vegetarian or even special requests, some basic is always there. The staff is friendly, competent and very service-oriented. A somewhat bashful note that the preparation of some dishes can take up to 30 minutes makes the gastronomic connoisseur sit up and take notice. Here we still cook our own food, always fresh on demand, with heart and hand. Big compliments to the kitchen. This has become very rare these days in times of mass tourist processing. For those in a hurry, the “Gröschtlpfanne” is a highly recommended classic. And anyway: The "Bergblick" is a pub and not an inn and veganism is just a religion and not a meat allergy!

Just try it for yourself... Not only the location but also the staff in the service as well as in the kitchen offer a feeling of well-being with a family atmosphere... Best schnitzel in the Allgäu 😁

On a Monday afternoon when many restaurants in Oberstdorf were closed, we found the ultimate delicious food and extremely friendly service in this almost inconspicuous café. As soon as you hear the schnitzel you ordered being made in the kitchen, you know that here you cook with heart and by hand. There's a bit of waiting involved - there's something else for quick, undemanding hunger :-)

Very friendly service and wonderfully delicious food - everything here is handmade and doesn't come from the freezer. In return, you are happy to accept the waiting time with an aperitif and good conversation.

We were there for dinner with our two small dogs. That went very smoothly and uncomplicated. We ate Kässpätzle and Rösti with Ziegendatschi. Both were very tasty and highly recommended. The service was very courteous and friendly. The atmosphere is rather rustic, but also very cozy. We would come again.

Went there for a drink and sat outside in the beer garden. It was cozy and the service was great. Prices like everywhere else in Oberstdorf. I've eaten several times now and it's been super tasty and plentiful.

We have been coming here every year since 2015. We were always served very friendly and warmly. We ate excellent food here, whether it was schnitzel in different shapes, salads or beef! From our perspective, Grandma's pancakes are particularly worth mentioning - they're super delicious!

Parking situation is tricky. You can park directly in front of the restaurant, but only for 1 hour. For €2.20 Food is excellent, nothing can be said.

The food was very good, BUT... a waiting time of almost an hour is out of all proportion! Guests should at least be made aware that it may take time. Well, if you're about to starve, you should go somewhere else.

Zum Nachtisch gab es einen herrlichen Germkmödel mit einer traumhaften Vanillesauce. Am Ablecken des Tellers hinderten uns nur unsere guten Manieren - leider. Dem Gast am Nebentisch, der erbost die Annahme seiner Germknödel verweigerte und wutentbrannt das Restsurant verließ, weil es ihm zu lange gedauert hatte können wir nur sagen: Selbst schuld! Die Zubereitung frischer Speisen dauert nun einmal etwas und wenn man es so eilig hat, sagt man das vielleicht lieber vorher zum übrigens sehr netten und kompetenten Servicepersonal, das rät dann vielleicht zu einem passenderen Gericht. Aber das nur am Rande, uns hat es sehr gut geschmeckt, alles war frisch zubereitet, wir wurden freundlich empfangen und ebenso behandelt und die Wartezeit war der Qualität der Speisen angemessen Gerne wieder, 5 von 5.

So gut haben wir schon lange nicht mehr gegessen. Gröstelpfanne, Kässpatzen waren super. Kaiserschmarrn als Nachtisch war echt göttlich!! Total freundliche Bedienung. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

The Kaiserschmarn was very good! However, we had to wait 1 hour for an oven pancake... when we wanted to cancel (since we would have liked to eat together), we were told "they don't know what they are missing". An apology would have been appropriate & we might even have come back again, but certainly not like this.

We were on vacation in Obersdorf and stumbled across the restaurant by chance. Because of the wasps we ate inside. The ambience is rustic but clean and tidy. The menu is varied and the prices are very reasonable. The restaurant was busy and it took a while for our order to be taken. The waiter pointed out that the food would take a while, which wasn't a problem for us. When the food came, you could see the love for cooking. Everything was very fresh and deliciously prepared and tasted excellent. My Viennese style schnitzel was the best I have ever eaten. All in all, a highly recommended restaurant with reasonable prices. We went straight back there the next day. Keep it up 👍

2 x dort gewesen, mit 5 Personen und Hund, ohne Reservierung. Wir haben immer einen Tisch bekommen. Wir wurden vor dem Bestellen informiert, dass es Wartezeiten gibt. Von der Bestellung bis zum servieren, der Speisen dauerte es ca. 40 Min. Es wurde auf vorgewärmten Tellern serviert. Die Speisen waren alle frisch zubereitet. Das Fleisch war auf den Punkt gegart, die Beilagen war ebenfalls nicht zerkocht sondern lecker zubereitet. Das Personal war freundlich und hilfsbereit. Jeder Wunsch wurde erfüllt. Wir waren absolut zufrieden.

There was a sign outside that said Kaiserschmarren was available until 5 p.m. When we wanted to order these at 4:43 p.m., the statement was "now it's too late, the preparation takes at least 3/4 hour and we're expecting a lot of guests this evening." When I wanted to order yeast dumplings, they were only available from 5 p.m. unfortunately the whole thing wasn't put in a very friendly way. We said a friendly goodbye and left

We love coming here whenever we are in Oberstdorf. The owner and the head waiter are very nice and always friendly and available for a chat. The home-made food is highly recommended, not only because the price-performance ratio is absolutely fine. We keep coming back.
