A wonderful atmosphere, from the premises and music to the products on offer. The service was attentive and friendly. The food was a true delight. The prices were absolutely reasonable. I will be coming here more often from now on. Thank you!

A very nice café in the heart of the city. How many times have I driven past it without noticing? I really like the decor, and it has a very diverse clientele. We only tried the coffee and cake – very tasty. The staff was also very pleasant. I'll definitely be back again.

Popular restaurant with a beautiful location in Kantpark. Good service, good food with a weekly menu. Also used for events and with a large Sunday breakfast. Very suitable for families. Lovely outdoor area and an additional terrace. Books to take away are available alongside cultural programs. Clean and well-maintained ambiance. Thanks to the art gallery next door, it attracts a large clientele. Highly recommended!

Went here for brunch on a Sunday. Abnormally crowded and loud. Staff were too busy with the sheer volume, but were there for you when you needed it. The rolls were hard as rocks, the coffee had no flavor, and the selection of toppings was disappointing for the price. To be honest, for just under 18 euros, I expect drinks other than coffee and tea included. There was also lasagna and rice with chicken at the buffet, but not exactly what you'd want for brunch. Never, ever again! I would have loved to leave, but my mother was too polite for that.

I've always wanted to come here, but it just wasn't a good fit. I have to admit, I really missed out... great food, generous portions, a great selection of dishes, from pizza to currywurst to shrimp... something for everyone... Thank you, and we'll definitely be back...

The service was friendly and quick. The food, meatloaf with a fried egg, was presented without enthusiasm; the egg yolk was completely ruined and very dry. The hash browns were okay, but the salad, lacking dressing, was very dry, and the cucumber slices were wilted. The ambiance was quite dated, but okay for a beer bar. In summary: The terrace overlooking the park was very nice. The restaurant is okay, but I can't give it more than three stars.

We were invited to a birthday party. The breakfast buffet was plentiful and delicious. For lunch, we had creamed schnitzel and lasagna.

Simply abysmal! Staff are rude! Food... one star is too many! Spend your money elsewhere! Everyone should think twice before visiting!!!

I went there today for brunch with my group of 14 people. I had a reservation. The food was okay, but the selection could have been a bit larger. We had no complaints about the quality. The service was almost disinterested. Requests we made, such as two bottles of sparkling water and one bottle of still water, were incorrectly fulfilled, or on other occasions, not fulfilled at all. The staff rarely came to our tables. We would certainly have left considerably more money if they had actively asked us what else we wanted. I've lived nearby for many years and have been a frequent guest here. Therefore, I deeply regret having to write this. Unfortunately, this was the sad culmination of a downward trend. When paying, I wasn't even asked if everything was okay when I left zero tips. I've never done that before, but in our opinion, no one deserved any extra money. I hope you get back on track and improve your service. (The last few times before that also left a lot to be desired.)

Great café with an artistic flair and excellent food! Café Museum is a truly lovely place right next to the Lehmbruck Museum. The atmosphere is relaxed and stylish – perfect for a meal before or after a museum visit. The beer garden is also very cozy, especially in summer. The food was excellent: fresh, delicious, and made with love. I had the salmon fillet – cooked to perfection! The vegetarian options and Sunday brunch are also impressive. The prices are mid-range, but absolutely fair for the quality. The service was friendly, attentive, and quick, even when it was busy. You can tell the team is passionate about their work. In conclusion: If you want to eat well in Duisburg, value the ambiance, and maybe even take in a bit of art, this is the place for you. I'll definitely be back!

Rustic charm. Today we tried brunch... unfortunately it wasn't brunch... Brunch should be breakfast and lunch... Breakfast was OK... nothing more, but nothing less either. No juice, no water... just filter coffee... no specialties. 2 types of bread, no white bread or toast, 3 types of rolls and croissants. Overall basic. Scrambled eggs and fried eggs, no sausages or meatballs... The lunch section consisted of soup and later 4 types of dessert. No warm food... €16.90 for a breakfast with pudding is quite expensive... I had previously wondered how you could manage a proper brunch for that price... now I know... It's just not brunch. Therefore only 2 stars because label fraud for the food. The service wasn't really good either. You always had to ask for something to be cleared away... It took a long time for the buffet to be refilled... and even with coffee, fresh pots weren't automatically handed out. Here too only 2 stars... The ambience is actually nice, but unfortunately the seating is so tight that it creates more of a canteen atmosphere. Very loud... Too bad. I was hoping for more. Will remain a one-off attempt.

I really liked visiting here. Very nice staff & decent prices. Lovely location though parking is limited in the car park. There is pay & display parking around the park etc. I didn’t take photos I’m afraid, but Duisberg has a wonderful art culture (Hence why we are staying here for the time being) and there are lots of sculptures & things to see around the area in general. There is a nice big kids playground outside the cafe in the park but I didn’t take photos find that the park wasn’t very well lit at night.

Unfortunately, we were quite disappointed last week because too many reservations were made and our table was occupied twice because we had made the reservation later than the others and had to leave. The alternative of going out on the terrace in the cold temperatures in the morning was not an alternative for us, there was no other solution. It's a real shame to be so disappointed after traveling 40 km. Definitely not a recommendation

Reserved brunch for 14 people weeks ago. When we arrived, we first had to figure out which table, the supposedly reserved table was occupied and only for 6 people, then there should be 2 tables, back to back - great for a devotional breakfast where everyone wants to sit together. Boss completely overwhelmed and just improvising. No idea about planning. When you criticize the organization, she becomes quite snippy and cheeky. I would like to shut someone up. Buffet more than a disaster. A few slices of hard bread, not refilled in 2 hours, Steingarten multigrain rolls and clearly burnt croissants. There was no cereal, fruit or pudding as it used to be, nor was there a quick display of sausage, cheese or scrambled eggs. Very, very bad and not recommended. The only plus is the super nice service staff at the table. Never again! For 16.90€ per person you get a much better brunch in a cozy atmosphere, where you don't sit squashed and the organization is right, also when it comes to seating.

So after we've been here 5.6 times with more than 10 people and three times there's been a hugely annoying situation despite reservations, I have to get this out of my head now. I had made a brunch reservation for a party of 14 for 10 a.m. weeks ago and when we arrived there was no room for us... again! Then they drove other people out of their seats and divided us into two tables for six! This is an absurdity! Something similar happened to us at a 60th birthday party, where we drove to the café beforehand and showed exactly the table we wanted. Of course it was already full when we arrived and we had to squeeze into a table that was too small!!! We had accepted everything but today the staff even got cheeky! That doesn't work at all. People looked at us aggressively when we said it didn't work that way and made cheeky comments! If we hadn't had guests from further away, we would have left. Then today the rolls were rock hard! The egg was too little and constantly empty, there wasn't even honey and until shortly before 12 no dessert like fruit, quark or anything else was available. We were here for the last time today! The store is getting worse and worse and the staff is simply incapable of catering.

A nice retreat away from the city center, especially in summer, when you can sit on the terrace. The food is mediocre, there is hardly anything for vegetarians. The waiters are all very friendly, but very slow. We go there very often and often have to go in ourselves to pay so we can leave.

Four people pitched up unannounced on Friday evening, but still got an attractive place. The service staff was nice, but slightly overwhelmed with the total number of guests. My girlfriend and I were unfortunately very disappointed with the service at the café today. We reserved a table for two people and had to leave after a short time because too many reservations were accepted and we made the later reservation. We were offered the alternative of sitting on the terrace, but that wasn't an option for us as it was still too cold for us in the morning. I just had something to drink here after my visit to the Lehmbruck Museum, as I had to warm up after my walk through Immanuel Kant Park, the so-called sculpture park, in freezing temperatures in February 2025. Unfortunately, it was relatively cool in the Café Museum in the afternoon. For the most part, the ambience seemed quite appealing to me. However, the attached wooden terrace is already somewhat damaged. I noticed that several other guests were not happy with their savory meal/cake.

Went there and had a burger witch was fine,not the best, but the biggest I had so far,the bread/Bund was cold but allover the taste was good. The 🍟 where good too.

We were there for brunch, that's how it went. Baked goods are far too dark and hard for me. I found the selection to be average, a lot of Metro Hotel supplies “Rioba”, no alternative to meat as a warm dish, soup tasted extremely over-seasoned, like curry and instant broth. The visit is not expensive at €16.90, but it doesn't have any highlights.

The cafe is located in the immediate vicinity of the city center but quite quietly on the edge of Kant Park. It is quite attractively furnished and has a nice terrace facing the park. Unfortunately, the staff has recently appeared increasingly inattentive and unmotivated. You often receive food and drinks that you didn't order, empty glasses are ignored, and placing an order requires patience. During our last visit, our drinks were literally “slammed” onto our table. When I wanted to be the first in a group of 4 people to pay, I received the full bill for the entire table without asking. Overall, I didn't like it there anymore.

We went there for a family brunch on October 3rd with 20 people including 6 children. Even though we had reserved, only 16 places were covered. Everything was very tight. The brunch buffet was well filled, but the quality of the food was rather mediocre and not appropriate for the comparatively high price. The service was unmotivated and indifferent. The ambience seemed dark and unfriendly due to the broken ceiling lighting. The guest room would do well with a little more friendly colors, plants and decoration. Overall it seemed a little careless and dingy.

No drama either - unfortunately it wasn't even really liquid but still quite solid, the pancake itself was also quite floury and sticky... Don't want to complain and ask for a sweet component, for example jam (usually there are pears, cranberries or something similar with it) . No problem either - they don't ask, they just bring a packet of cherry jam... Pork fillet was somehow ok - sauce was unfortunately quite thin and not creamy - roasted potatoes were ok but also seasoned with some mixture that was very peppery and had a frozen character. It didn't fit either because the pepper sauce was already spicy. Salad dressing was delicious - lettuce itself 🤪 had probably been in pieces for a while - leaf lettuce cracked and limp, cucumber sliced ​​super thick. Unfortunately, no one ever asked if everything was OK or if we needed anything else. The young gentleman is not “to blame”; he probably did his best within the scope of his possibilities. When clearing away he asked if the food was tasty - I honestly said it was like that 🤷‍♀️ but it was probably more of a cliché and wasn't questioned further. Don't expect "First Class Fine Dining" but at least gastro basics should be possible in terms of the quality of the food, the service and the design of the menu. Too bad 🫣

The park is directly accessible for the children and you can keep an eye on the children!! There is also coffee time with delicious cakes... There are parking spaces there, but for residents. Parking spaces in the area are subject to a charge. If there is parking at the Café Museum, you would have to ask by phone. We parked 5 minutes from the Cafe Museum. A walker and wheelchair also come through at the front entrance. There are steps on the other side of the beer garden. We really liked it and would love to come back.🍽🧋🍺☕️🍰

My partner and I went here on a public holiday to take advantage of the brunch buffet based on a recommendation from friends. The café was very busy that day, so there were longer waiting times. The noise level was quite high, so there was a lack of comfort. The buffet was rich, but it gave the impression that it came from a discount store. I expected more. But the selection was extensive. The warm dishes weren't my cup of tea visually, and the taste also left a lot to be desired. The service seemed stressed and a little overwhelmed. It would have been nice to have a small waste container on the table to dispose of eggshells, for example. As far as brunch is concerned, I would choose another café again. Very disappointing 😔

One of our regular restaurants for many years (also with the whole family, public viewing, etc.). The café is spacious, the food is always delicious and the prices are moderate. I recommend the burger! But all other dishes, such as those from the weekly menu, have always been tasty. There's Guinness on tap! The service has never left anything to be desired, fast and always super nice. All individual wishes are fulfilled. Sometimes we were loaned an umbrella when it rained, something like that isn't available everywhere! Toilets and tables are always clean! The restaurant has barrier-free areas (at least 50% of the tables inside, 100% outside), including the toilets and outdoor areas, which is very important for us and a clear plus point. The outside area is huge! I also recommend a (digestive) walk through the park, the many sculptures are definitely worth seeing.

Were there for Sunday brunch. From breakfast to starters to dessert, everything was delicious. The service was friendly and very attentive, but not intrusive. Very good. The ambience is interesting. Pictures and collages with clear points of view hang on the walls. Bravo. The only drawback was the somewhat loud background noise. That won't stop us from visiting the Café Museum again.

Actually, the name “Café in the Park” would be more appropriate, as the restaurant is not in the museum, but next to it, with two terraces directly in Immanuel Kant Park. The interior, with a very nice counter reminiscent of Parisian cafés, is unusually large for a café and the many bar tables reminded me more of a beer bar - but that may also indicate that it is much busier at other times than during our visit at lunchtime on a weekday. The service is friendly and the food tasted good. For the "Pancakes according to your wishes" I would have preferred to see a list of the available ingredients - perhaps with the addition of being able to express even more specific requests. The apple strudel also tastes good, but it is not what we understand by it in the Alpine countries. The chocolate sauce on top also bothered me a bit. Card payment was easily possible (unfortunately still a problem in Germany).

We celebrated our daughter's baptism there today in the large hall. Everything was already prepared and we had booked the brunch buffet for 41 people. We were totally thrilled!!!! Everything tasted really good, especially the vitello tonnato and the sliced ​​meat!!! Mega!! Sunday brunch was a real mess, nothing like what was offered on the internet! There is brown bread from the supermarket, cheap sausage/cheese, scrambled eggs from a tetra pack and for lunch there were cold fried potatoes. Real snot, don't do it to yourself.

The "boss" threatened me with violence and claimed that I had yelled at his wife after I criticized the very poor organization. The buffet was overcrowded, long waiting times (15 minutes) for scrambled eggs, croissants etc. Food was constantly empty and "warm" dishes were all cold. Various types of bread and high-quality cold cuts were advertised online. On site there was gray bread from the discounter and cheese/sausage also from the discounter pack. Scrambled eggs from the bag, no fruit or vegetables available. Butter/Nutella etc. no longer available at 10:30am. Would recommend everyone to avoid this place. If you're hungry, it's better to get a roll at the kiosk.

It was close to my hotel, so I stopped in for dinner. I didn't have high expectations since the food was cheap compared to other restaurants, but it was a good portion and tasted great. I ordered a margherita, but couldn't finish it, so I had it put in a box and took it back to the hotel for breakfast the next day. It was delicious even when it was cold, and it was the most delicious food I had on my trip to Germany. My only regret is that I could only try the Margherita. The breakfast was good with a good selection, there were only 2 hot dishes. The two people at the table who tried it didn't like the lasagna at all. Some things were only filled upon request, others not at all. At 14.90 per person you shouldn't expect too much It was okay for that. The service can best be described as trying but friendly. We had to run behind the waiters twice to get anything to drink.
