Definitely not eating there. It was my most disgusting kebab experience. The meat was raw and the bread soggy. The sauce was just slapped on. Since I had a long journey ahead of me and was very hungry, I ate there without reading the Google reviews. I regret it deeply. I couldn't get rid of the disgusting aftertaste for a long time. Do yourself a favor and never eat there. Better to go hungry.

The doner kebab is a bit pricey at €7.80. You'd expect at least a hand-made doner kebab and karaoke 🎤 from the waitress; she was nice and said "brother" (an alternative to "boss").

This was the worst kebab I've ever eaten. The quality couldn't be excused by the heavy customer rush after yesterday's soccer match. The meat was abysmal in texture and taste. The side salad consisted mainly of watery coleslaw, even though I ordered it with "everything." The sauce was equally substandard. Despite being extremely hungry, I unfortunately threw half of this "delicious" treat in the trash.

I ate at this kebab shop at Duisburg Central Station yesterday – unfortunately, it was a complete disappointment. The kebab tasted absolutely terrible. I had to keep adding chili flakes and salt to get any taste at all. The meat was barely noticeable and seemed more like low-quality "repair meat." After eating it, I actually felt really sick. The ingredients didn't seem fresh – the peppers, in particular, tasted definitely off. The sauces were simply slapped together without proper layering, so the flavor was completely lost. You're basically just eating dry bread with a bit of sauce and some salad. The portion was extremely small, but ridiculously expensive: €8 for a small kebab and €12.90 for a large one – just because the shop is right next to the main station. That's completely unjustified. The staff were very unmotivated and unfriendly. You got the feeling they didn't enjoy their work. The kebab was "ready" within a minute, which unfortunately was reflected in the quality. Conclusion: The taste, quality, and service are a disaster. The value for money is not there. Definitely not recommended – never again!

i wouldn’t recommend going there unless you’ve no choice. I ordered a dürum, the dürum bread was hard as fck. the salesman behaved like he owns you. With the same price I would recommend you to visit Podolski/ haus des döners.

Warning – Bad Experience at a Kebab Restaurant in Duisburg! On a trip, I ate at a kebab restaurant in Duisburg and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience, which I want to share publicly here – not out of anger, but to warn others. I ordered soup and Turkish rice, as shown in the picture. However, instead of a fair portion, the employee gave me soup with a piece of meat missing. He filled it with a lot of potatoes instead – obviously to keep the meat for someone else and resell it. Even worse: When I got the rice, the portion was extremely small – far below the usual. I remained calm but documented everything. What really shocked me: Another person next to me – not African – ordered the same dish and received two large pieces of meat and a regular portion of rice. I don't speak perfect German, and I'm African. Should I be treated like this because of that? Was this racism? Or just deliberate deception? Either way, it's a great shame.

The doner kebab was truly fantastic! The meat was fresh, juicy, and tasted exactly as it should. The portions were generous, and the service was very fast. The staff was friendly and the place was clean. Definitely a place I'll visit again. Highly recommended for all doner lovers! 🌯🔥

A kebab shop right next to the main train station that I highly recommend. It's delicious, the price/performance ratio is good, and you're usually served quickly and well. What many people say affects their mood could also be due to the large construction site and, of course, the stressed-out people milling around the station. I like going here sometimes; the sauce, in particular, tastes really good.

The worst experience ever. The staff is extremely rude and shows no interest in the customers. The sandwiches contain hardly any meat—you're practically just eating bread—and the taste is abysmal. When I pointed out to the employee that there was hardly any meat in them, he simply said, "We're out of meat!" as if that were perfectly normal. And all of this at completely exorbitant prices. Absolutely not recommended—a complete waste of money and time.

I'm truly shocked by what I was served here. The doner meat contained several hard pieces of bone, which is extremely dangerous and unacceptable! As if that wasn't bad enough, the pickled pepperoni was completely spoiled and gave off a nasty, pungent odor—absolutely inedible. This isn't just disgusting, it's also a health hazard! If you want a dry kebab with cold service, this is the place to go. The kebab has no flavor, and paying €7.80 for it feels like a rip-off. Furthermore, the staff are unwilling to smile and behave unfriendly. The best thing you can do is not buy from this shop and let them make money. There are many better kebab shops nearby where you can get better kebabs and better service.

I was at the snack bar today because of an emergency and politely asked for a single napkin. I wasn't given one. I found that truly disappointing and inhumane. In my job, I've always helped people in situations like this. I would have expected a little more compassion here.

The employees are really not friendly, but I can understand that at the main station. The daily specials are really tasty but also very expensive. The lentil soup is really good. The taste of the kebab is okay, but this is somehow the only shop where I've gotten a kebab in the last few years where the sauce is added at the end and rightly so, cleaning it first is actually state of the art. The kebab actually always falls apart when you eat it (I don't know if that's because of the sauce or the bread) and you're left with just meat without sauce at the bottom. Otherwise okay (i.e. cleanliness etc) and they get nicer if you are there more often. As I said, it's pretty unfriendly, but with so many walk-in customers at the main station you kind of check it out, I'll be honest.

Worst store in 2025, no well-groomed employees, the store is unkempt and it doesn't taste good at all, thanks to you I got diarrhea. You should be checked by the city. 1 star is already too much.

First of all, I ate here for the first time and only had a kebab with cheese. (€10.90 is quite expensive in my opinion, even for current prices) Service was okay but nothing special, when you eat you notice that you are in a train station - edible but not particularly hot either (I would advise against the hot sauce, it was the "worst" I've ever had, it was edible but neither really spicy particularly good taste), but what you shouldn't ignore is that it was actually a large kebab, unlike some other shops. Ambiance is just a snack bar like any other. In conclusion you can say if you are hungry and don't have time you can do it, otherwise you may have to look for something else.

I decided to just buy a bottle of water from this establishment. In the end I had to pay 2 euros for the cheapest bottle. Well, 2 euros would still be acceptable, but the employee told me that with a card it would already cost 5 euros... for the cheapest water bottle! By the way, a minute later I noticed that it was cheaper to buy them from the machines in the station. That's why I don't recommend this establishment.

Good Turk at the east entrance of Duisburg main station, where I spend my lunch break once a week. In addition to well-made Dürüm, I recommend the daily specials and the lentil soup. The staff is very friendly and you can sit comfortably in the restaurant. My son also likes to eat there.

Had a Doner there while waiting for a connecting train. Glad I did because it was really good. Guy working there was very friendly. Good price. Recommend

I wanted to give the store another chance. I ordered a kebab, there was hardly any meat on it and it just tasted greasy, the bread was cold and seemed old, there was hardly any salad on it either, only the sauce wasn't spared. While eating there was a bone splinter in the meat, that could happen but it shouldn't. Definitely one of the lightest kebabs in Duisburg. It would definitely win a prize in that category. It's also changed over the years, it used to be really good and always had something good about it, but now it's really sticking to the "stinginess is awesome" attitude like all the other places.

We drank a kebab here while drunk... the kebab itself was okay, but I wasn't hungry anymore because of all the beer... My friend also ordered without cabbage but received it with cabbage… otherwise it would be a minus in the service…. Probably one of the cleanest kebab shops in North Rhine-Westphalia. No fun. Unfortunately I didn't eat there because I was drunk.. But you could eat your kebab in the toilet, they were that clean. As a Berliner, I was deeply impressed. Next time I go to Amsterdam I get off in Duisburg specifically to eat there. I swear

The employees are super friendly, there's nothing wrong with them at all. I ordered a kebab, which unfortunately wasn't to my liking. There were already some pieces of cartilage in the meat, which made the whole thing not very tasty. The meat was hardly or not at all seasoned and everything was applied to the kebab bag in a very manageable manner (regardless of the sauce, salad, etc.) Unfortunately I have to say one of the worst kebabs I've eaten in a long time. Not absolutely inedible but for the money or pack an extra euro and you get really good ones.

Sorry but for a mini kebab box 7.90 an absolute impudence. We live ten minutes away. You could take something with you there. But price performance is an absolute joke here, at least with the kebab box. I have to say, absolute disgrace. The store only sees me at three per mille.

Giving one star to this store is too much! I would have preferred to rate it zero. Very unfriendly and dirty employees. Every item is touched with bare hands, several times a day. They touch the money and then immediately afterwards the pre-baked items are touched with these hands. You express a wish and are immediately treated cheekily and in a very unfriendly manner by a guy with short, partly gray hair. Even when he tries to seem friendly, you immediately notice that it's just an act. The health authorities should inspect this store more often. Hygiene is a foreign word for them. Disgusting how they treat the food unhygienically. I've experienced the worst things here over and over again. I'm going to make a video so I can prove how they treat some people and especially the food we eat as customers. Everyone needs to go there once and will experience exactly the things described above.

The staff seems to be consistently unfriendly regardless of whether it is day or evening. Despite my many years of customer loyalty, I have not experienced any improvement in their behavior. It's frustrating to see that drink prices seem to fluctuate randomly depending on the staff's mood, while kebab prices are fixed and don't vary. As someone with customer service experience, I understand it can be challenging, but the continued rudeness is hard to endure. It would be nice if the staff could show at least a minimum level of politeness and professionalism. It is noticeable that the staff are particularly friendly towards their compatriots, while they appear distant or even unfriendly towards other customers. This selective friendliness reinforces feelings of injustice and makes customers like me feel unwelcome.

I've never experienced anything so outrageous. Because after choosing what I wanted on my kebab I said "everything", the tzatziki sauce was absolutely a given. There would be nothing to shake that. I've been working in this business for 30 years and I had no idea. These are the words of the old gentleman. A decisive tone and I would be wrong as a customer. The kebab was ok. But I don't allow myself to be patronized just because people generally don't feel like asking questions. That was my last visit.

You can tell that you live from passing customers here and the manager doesn't seem to care about customers, taste or quality! I also asked the operator about the poor quality and they blamed me for it because I had sauce on it, so ridiculous and outrageous 💁‍♂️ I hope no one else falls for this! Were there again yesterday after a long time. We actually remembered something better in terms of service, friendliness and food. The food has deteriorated a lot, but was once much better. A Turkish pizza for 7.90, well you expect a little more, and not just a slice of tomato and 1 piece of sheep's cheese. Apparently you also have problems implementing the customers' wishes because you don't feel like it or don't understand the language? Then, annoyed, you pass it on to your colleague, speaking in Turkish. You may not have to know what was said. Then they ask to share the pizza and ask the customers a stupid question with an ironic undertone as to whether it should be packed separately. The last time we went there was to get something to eat. Due to the location, the store won't be poor if there are two fewer customers. It's a shame that you were so disappointed. We didn't like it. Bahnhofs-Döner der Mittelklasse. Kleine Dönertasche für 7 € (!) schmeckt, ist aber nicht so gut gefüllt wie andernorts. Für den schnellen Hunger aber ok.

Der hier schmeckt wenigstens etwas besser als der auf der anderen Seite des Hbf's. Allerdings ist das Rechnen nicht so deren Stärke. Aufpassen beim Wechselgeld. Ich hab zu wenig Wechselgeld bekommen und hab das direkt vor Ort reklamiert allerdings wiederholte er nur den Betrag und gab mir den Kassenbong und schauten mich verwundert an als ob ich nach Gott weiß was gefragt hätte oder verlangt habe..😅 wahrscheinlich hatte er kein Bock sich weiter damit auseinander zu setzen und hat es auf diese Art versucht. Ich hab dann keine Lust gehabt mich weiter damit auseinander zu setzten und hab es dann sein lassen. War mir sogar unangenehm obwohl es deren Fehler war und um's Prinzip geht. Das sind so Kleinigkeiten wo man sich als Kunde denkt: 'Habe ich wirklich Bock dadrauf wieder dort zu essen und mich abziehen zu lassen? Hmm'... Update: Am nächsten Morgen gab es direkt Diarrhö...

Ich muß gegenüber früher nun allmählich einen Stern abziehen. Der Döner ist immer noch der leckerste, aber der Service unterirdisch. Freundlichkeit eine unbekannte, es ist schon zuviel wenn man einen Wunsch äußert. Ich habe wirklich das Gefühl gehabt ich bin nicht erwünscht. Danke für den leckeren Döner, das war's!

Eine der besten Dönerbuden in Duisburg. Perfekt nach der Arbeit und vorm Kino. Das einzige was ich doof finde ist der Preis für Cola ;) Dürüm ist übrigens genauso gut 😊

Nicht so gut wie Berliner Döner aber vollkommen solide. Sehr gut falls man mal Nachts am Bahnhof warten muss und nichts mehr offen hat. (Definitiv die bessere Wahl im Gegensatz zum McDonalds gegenüber)
