Leider war unser Tisch nochmals vergeben ohne dass uns vorher Bescheid gesagt wurde. Dadurch mussten wir auf einmal schnell mit dem Essen fertig werden.

Tolles Ambiente, Leckeres Essen und eine wahnsinnig engagierte Bedienung. Wir kommen wieder.

Die Brezen zu den Weißwürsten sind leider nur aufgewärmt aus der Tiefkühltruhe - keine Bäcker Qualität. Angesprochen darauf hat sich die Bedienung dafür nicht unbedingt interessiert. Da erwarte ich mehr. Außerdem waren wir zu dritt essen und haben zu sehr unterschiedlichen Zeiten das Essen bekommen, dass fast jeder sein Essen allein essen musste. Ansonsten angenehme Atmosphäre zum kurzzeitigen Verweilen im Herzen der Eichstätter Innenstadt.

Es ist ein idealer Ort zum Essen, ob mit der Familie, allein oder zu zweit. Die Lage ist zentral und gut erreichbar, und das Restaurant befindet sich in einem traditionellen deutschen Haus. Die Portionen sind großzügig und das Essen köstlich. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Auch die Sauberkeit ist tadellos. Wenn Sie einen Hund oder ein Familienmitglied im Rollstuhl dabei haben, können Sie problemlos kommen.

Gute Adresse in Eichstätt mit leckerem Essen, schönem Außenbeleuchtung direkt am Markt und freundlichen Personal.

Ziemlich voll, vor 20 Jahren war lüftiger, eleganter, jetzt hat sich dem Trend angeschlossen, so viele Tische wie es nur geht, trotzdem schön, alles ist frisch und qualitativ. Ein bisschen mehr Konditorei-Produkte hätte ich mir gewünscht.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Wir waren nach unserem Betriebsausflug mit der Firma hier zum Essen und waren rundum begeistert. Trotz des gut besuchten Lokals wurden wir sehr freundlich empfangen und der Service war aufmerksam, herzlich und erstaunlich schnell. Man hat gemerkt, dass das Team auch bei viel Betrieb den Überblick behält und großen Wert auf einen guten Service legt. Das Essen war hervorragend – frisch, geschmacklich richtig lecker und schön angerichtet. Alle an unserem Tisch waren mit ihren Gerichten sehr zufrieden. Auch die angenehme Atmosphäre im Restaurant hat den Abschluss perfekt abgerundet. Ein großes Lob an das gesamte Team für den tollen Service und die ausgezeichnete Küche. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt und ich komme bei Gelegenheit gerne wieder. Dieses Restaurant kann ich mit bestem Gewissen weiterempfehlen!

Nach einer Fahrradtour genau das Richtige: gutes Essen, gute Portionen in angenehmer Atmosphäre draußen mitten in der Stadt genießen. Bedienungen waren sehr freundlich, haben auch aufs kommende Gewitter hingewiesen, Bezahlung hat bei sehr gutem Besuch im Restaurant etwas gedauert, aber ansonsten wirklich sehr zu empfehlen. Kommen gerne wieder.

Top Service, hat aber was touristisches und essen nicht gewürzt

Sehr leckeres Essen, nettes Personal und man sitzt mitten in der Stadt. Wir hatten Filet vom Saibling und Salat mit Filetstreifen.

Nach einer sehr kurzfristigen Terminabsprache konnten wir mit unserer VdK-Reisegruppe (52 Personen) im Lokal Platz nehmen. Binnen kürzester Zeit hatten alle Teilnehmer ihr Essen sowie Getränke. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und kompetent. Über die Schnelligkeit, immerhin 52 Personen, haben sich alle gewundert. Wir konnten unseren Zeitplan zur Weiterfahrt genau einhalten. Dem Inhaber und seinen Angestellten einen großen Respekt und herzlichen Dank für Ihre Bemühungen. Für eine VdK-Reisegruppe aus Ochtrup Heiner Rottmann, Vors.

Super lecker essen Bedienungen nett schnell freundlich fahren gerne nach Eichstätt

Im Restaurant – Café im Paradeis habe ich sehr gut gegessen und war wirklich positiv überrascht. Besonders das Essen war hervorragend – alles frisch und geschmacklich richtig rund. Ein echtes Highlight war das Cordon Bleu, gefüllt mit Obatzda. Die Kombination war super lecker, schön würzig und mal etwas anderes als die klassische Variante. Genau so etwas bleibt im Kopf hängen. Auch insgesamt stimmt hier einfach das Gefühl: angenehme Atmosphäre, gutes Essen und ein Ort, an dem man gerne etwas länger sitzen bleibt. Für mich eine klare Empfehlung in Eichstätt – vor allem wegen dieser kreativen und sehr schmackhaften Küche.

Waren am 26. Mai 2026 dort im Aussenbereich, der gut gefüllt war. Der Service war wirklich ausgesprochen flott, aufmerksam und freundlich. Getränke kamen zügig und auch das Essen war schnell serviert. Es war alles sehr lecker. Preise angemessen, wir waren sehr zufrieden.

Wir haben hier nur einen kleinen Cappuccino getrunken, der nach nichts geschmeckt hat und für die Menge unverschämt teuer war (3,80€ für eine Minitasse). Service war sehr freundlich und die Aussicht auf den großen Platz sehr schön.

Nettes Lokal mit freundlichem Service. Die Currywurst mit Pommes war sehr fein. Die Location ist gemütlich und einladend.

October 2022: After a 50 km hike along the Altmühltal Panorama Trail, we stopped here to refuel. And what can I say? Sooooo tasty pasta with roasted pumpkin, seasoned with sun-dried tomatoes and walnuts. A fantastic creation, something we haven't had the pleasure of eating anywhere else. Kudos to the friendly, cheerful waiter! We felt completely at home and welcome. We'll be back here on our next visit to Eichstätt! Update October 2025: After our 2022 visit, we were back here at the end of two days hiking the Altmühltal Trail. Again, the tagliatelle with pumpkin – and everything (food and service) was as excellent as the first time!

We pre-ordered 18 meals for our child's birthday and had them delivered. What can I say? We were and are absolutely thrilled!!!!!!!! A really friendly, uncomplicated contact beforehand, delivery on time, and the food – excellent. It was still hot, the portions were generous and delicious. All the guests were thrilled, and the best part was, it was delivered in warming boxes, so no waste was produced, and the boxes were picked up again without us having to clean them. Top service, top food – top top top!!!! Thank you, dear Paradeis team! We definitely recommend you!!!

Exceptionally delicious cakes and tarts

A lovely restaurant right on the market square in Eichstätt. Very friendly and extremely fast service, delicious food, and a reasonable menu. We were there three evenings in total and had the same excellent experience every time.

It's a shame that you have to draw attention to yourself every time you visit, but no one ever comes. For example, there are three waiters milling around, none of them feeling responsible; putting cutlery on the tables or smoking is somehow more important. It feels like this every time. It's just no fun anymore; we won't be back.

For lunch, we visited the Café im Paradeis and ordered a fresh salad and cheese spaetzle. The food was delicious and lovingly prepared – the cheese spaetzle are a real highlight. It was accompanied by cool water and a dark, non-alcoholic Hefeweizen beer, which went wonderfully with the meal. We were lucky enough to be able to sit outside in the sunshine, which further emphasized the relaxed atmosphere. The ambiance is simply wonderful and invites you to linger. The service was, as usual, friendly and attentive, even though the young colleague still needs to gain some experience. All in all, a very enjoyable lunch in a cozy setting. I definitely recommend Café Paradeis for delicious food and a wonderful break!

We had dinner there. We had cordon bleu with fries and pork with chanterelles. Very tasty food! Friendly staff. Beautiful location on the market square and a lovely, old house steeped in history.

Great restaurant in the heart of Eichstätt, excellent food, fantastic service. Addendum: I was there again today, and the staff was completely overwhelmed. Guests weren't served and had to wait forever. The waitresses were running around aimlessly. But the manager responded well and immediately provided assistance from an experienced employee, and the place was running smoothly. The five stars remain.

I stopped by for dinner spontaneously. Despite the crowd, I received a very warm welcome and prompt service. The homemade tagliatelle with tomatoes and shrimp was a dream. Very tasty, a generous portion, and a good price. The staff was very attentive and friendly. I'd be happy to come back.

Beautifully located, and the salad is very fresh, with several dressings to choose from. The schnitzel with fried potatoes and the poacher's burger were also impeccable and juicy. The name isn't an empty promise—Paradeis is truly a little piece of heaven, somewhere between wheat beer, a panoramic view, and magic hats. Head waiter Ivo? A service wizard. The man reads your wishes before you even know you have them. Cappuccino in a soup bowl? Of course. A clash of styles? Maybe. Delicious? Definitely. While I'm sipping on a latte, a snub-eared cat watches me from a nearby window with the regal calm of a veteran village policeman. It seems to have everything under control—including its location on the market square. The double deck chair was so comfortable that I briefly wanted to use the menu as a pillow and considered making it my primary residence. The elevator, on the other hand... let's affectionately call it "retro with an adventure factor." Fashion highlight of the day: A waitress wearing a bright orange corduroy hat—somewhere between catwalk and carnival. I was about to politely ask for a selfie or steal the hat from her head. And then – big surprise! While browsing the truly excellently curated flyer display (honestly, it was coffee-table book level!), I came across an organ concert. I thought: Why not? And what can I say – it was a hit! Powerful, precise, sublime. The nave shook – and my music-loving heart along with it. Sound art guaranteed to give you goosebumps! Summary: Great food, divine view, cool cat, curious coffee – and Mr. Ander is a true host with a heart. I'll be back. For the cappuccino from the soup bowl. For the organ. For the fashion statements. And definitely for the cat. 🐾

Great value for money, very friendly service, highly recommended

The manager of Paradeis usually wears fun, colorful shirts, which he uses to enchant his guests. The house specialty is the large Aperolstutzen, which will satisfy even the most cravings. We'd love to go back!

We were very happy to have found a restaurant serving hot meals at 3 p.m. after a stroll through Eichstätt's city center. The food we ordered was delicious and the staff very friendly. We would have appreciated cushions on all the chairs and a menu at the beginning. Nevertheless, we would wholeheartedly recommend Paradeis, as the food was delicious and the staff very friendly.

Update 2025 This year we were almost regular guests... almost at home at Paradeis. Since we were allowed to hold our practice sessions during the week right next door in the town hall, all of our guests were also actively involved. The newly introduced lunch and the popular teatime were once again a delight. We'll be back in 2026. In April, for the first time, in the Rococo style, so of course, we'll be back for the Jane Austen Ball in June. Stylish Teatime around 1800 We had the honor and pleasure of hosting a teatime around 1800 in the style of Jane Austen and Bridgerton together with the Paradeis team. The rooms were stylishly and lovingly prepared. And the event felt like a journey back in time. We're already looking forward to being here again on June 21, 2025. Really good food, thanks again for the perfectly cooked fresh pan-fried vegetables as a side dish to the char (which should have been cooked for 1-2 minutes less 😉). The spinach noodles were also delicious. The drinks were also great. Service was good and friendly. No comparison to Gasthaus Trompete 🥹

We stopped by on a whim and were pleasantly surprised. The food was fresh and really good, and the service was attentive and friendly. The great atmosphere right on the market square was particularly nice. However, the ketchup from a packet is very lacking in style! It's neither sustainable nor hygienic, and it doesn't look nice either.

We had our civil wedding dinner outside at a long, beautiful table. From the planning to the big day, the entire organization with Tobi was superb. The food was a 10 out of 10, and even a thunderstorm didn't put a damper on the event because the super friendly and dedicated staff prepared an indoor space for us at short notice, so we just carried on happily. Many, many thanks to the entire team – it was simply fantastic! 🙏🏽

Basically quite cute, but the service can be improved just like the food. Unfortunately only lukewarm instead of hot. We weren't even asked if everything was okay or if we wanted/needed any drinks or something similar. A minimal point of criticism is that I was specifically asked if I wanted my meat medium, which I said yes, but unfortunately I got it medium-rare. And when all the plates were cleared away, unfortunately no one from the service came anymore and would have wanted to try the Kaiserschmarrn.

Nice atmosphere, good service, really good food. We were in Eichstätt for the first time. Sunday afternoon, the restaurant was open, the garden was almost full, there was something to eat at 3 p.m., ... so far so good. The small but fine menu (which still contains two or three vegetarian dishes) was supplemented by a seasonal menu. The venison sausages were very good. But the wild burger was a poem. Delicious medium-roasted meat, lightly toasted roll, ... the finest. The service was quick and friendly. You can not ask for more.

Auf Empfehlung sind wir zum Frühstück ins Café Paradeis eingekehrt. Trotz der zentralen Lage und direkt an der Straße war während unseres Aufenthaltes kaum störender Verkehrslärm zu vernehmen. Wir haben draußen gesessen, das Ambiente war rustikal gemütlich. Der Service war aufmerksam und freundlich, das Speisen- und Getränkeangebot gut und vollkommen ausreichend. Wir haben lecker und entspannt gefrühstückt und sind so gut gelaunt in den Tag gestartet. Erwähnenswert sind die modernen und sauberen Toiletten, die allerdings im 1. Stock liegen. Uns hat es wirklich gut gefallen, jederzeit gerne wieder.

The food tastes great. The sliced ​​meat with spaetzle and mushrooms is highly recommended. The meat is really tender. The service is very fast and really friendly - on this day - admittedly a European Championship match day with public viewing in the beer garden - there were simply too many guests for too few service staff, and apparently it was the same in the kitchen. It took over an hour for the food to arrive, and the waitress could have stopped by the table a few times. But all in all still good, but this experience is not (yet) enough for 5 stars.

Even if you are very hungry. There's nothing worse than leaving the restaurant hungry. You can safely eat here. The prices are unbeatable. I would definitely come again!

Food was good, the café is located quite centrally in the town. However, our cakes were forgotten and later no one from the staff showed up when we wanted to pay. In addition, the wooden edges of the table were very rough, so my sweater was slightly rubbed when I hit it.

I would choose the fries here next time. Very interesting: inside there are explanations of how the house was renovated. Worth seeing!
