Very nice location. I have been here several times now to take advantage of the breakfast buffet. This is characterized by its extensive selection and very good quality. The staff is also very helpful and friendly. I was here some time ago with a person with crutches, and a lot of consideration was also given to that. The breakfast buffet includes bread, rolls, cereal ingredients, bacon, sausages, scrambled eggs, sausage and cheese, salmon, antipasti, and . and . and . offered. We sat in the winter garden in December, which is also very pleasant because it is heated. The outdoor area is very pleasant and interesting in summer.

The buffet on Christmas Day was well filled and very tasty. We'll be back.

Hello first of all, it was in the special paper again today and as I was walking through the beer garden I noticed something. So the parasols are in very bad condition. They are full of mold and green. (Very harmful to health) I mentioned it to my boss two years ago. New ones are coming, he said, and nothing has happened. It's a shame because you can't sit there like that. We are considering whether we will come back in summer 2025 with around 18 people. So make an effort!!

This was our second time there. You can experience a lovely atmosphere here! The drinks are all delicious and the food is fresh and delicious. The food was served relatively quickly. The staff is very nice and they serve the guests in a friendly manner. We'd love to come back! 😊

Since there was nothing left to eat in the city later, we came across your beautifully illuminated special paper. They were so great here and even conjured up something to eat on our first evening 10 minutes before the kitchen closed. This is not a given, but rather extremely hospitable. Five of us spontaneously went there at the end of September. It's really lovely to sit outside with a view of the spa gardens. We ordered burgers and schnitzel. The food was great. The service was very quick and friendly.

Nice service staff and beautifully decorated restaurant. Even when the weather isn't too warm, the winter garden is a good place to stay. If you get too cold there, there are also heaters. The coffee tastes good.

Really great, I love this Cafe. I chose the breakfast buffet and it's a very rich one, so I love the variety of things one can eat there. Also the hot chocolate is very delicious, highly recommended. The bathroom is located downstairs and could be a little bigger, in my opinion. The Cafe itself offers a lot of space, indoor and outdoor, and it's placed next to a lake, so it has a nice atmosphere. We ordered homemade waffles and cappuccino. The cappuccino came relatively quickly, but the waffles didn't arrive until 20 minutes later. What was really unpleasant, however, was that they were so dry and crumbled with every bite. The “side dishes” such as cream, cherries and ice cream were also good more than meager in terms of quantity. Absolutely NOT recommended. The long waiting time until you could pay was also extremely long. We were very disappointed!

The food was cold, the service was bad and you had to wait forever. We probably won't be back any time soon. And even 1.5 years later nothing has changed. Too few staff who like to walk past the guests, poor organization, just not worth it.

Unfortunately, our visit to Cafe Extrablatt in Bad Salzuflen was very disappointing. The service was unfriendly and we were moved to another table without explanation, apparently due to a lack of staff. To make matters worse, the coffee spilled when it was brought to the table and the waiter didn't take care of it. In the lemonade I found a piece of a cardboard straw which is absolutely unhygienic. Overall, a very negative experience that we definitely don't want to experience again.

Personally, I really enjoy going to Café Extrablatt, and not just in Bad Salzuflen. There are seasonal offers and at any time of the day it is possible to get just a little something or a whole dish. The food is always very tasty and unusual. You can try out a lot of new things. Not only is the food selection large, but also the drinks menu. The service staff is always trying hard. In addition, all cafés are beautifully decorated and offer a relaxed atmosphere. Always worth a visit!

A good place on the walking route from the sanatorium to the spa park. My husband came to visit me on Sunday when the bus is not running and then this place is perfect, you don't have to do anything. The food was tasty, but a bit noisy. I recommend it 100%

After a hike with almost 15 people, we made reservations in advance, we stopped in and were treated to the à la carte menu. There was delicious Detmolder beer with it. Great ambience thanks to the view of the greenery and the restaurant, which is in a very high room with beautiful ceiling decorations and lighting.

The service was warm and quick. The atmosphere is very cozy. As with all Extrablatt branches, the food is 100% convenience and is advertised as such on their website, so everything is ok. The taste was ok, but the quantity wasn't exactly generous for the price. The two of us ate a schnitzel with fries, a small apple strudel, a small 0.33 cocktail, a non-alcoholic wheat and a large apple spritzer for €50. So overall a nice evening, price performance still satisfactory for my rating.

I thought it was very nice there. It was just a shame that I couldn't pay with Visa. It was actually the first time that it happened to me that it wasn't accepted.

The restaurant has a great location right on the lake, but the service was disappointing. Despite clear agreement, our drinks were not served, even when the food was already on the table. This lack of service significantly spoiled the otherwise beautiful ambience.

I immediately give 5 stars to every extra sheet we've been to so far. Here, however, only one. We were there on a warm but not very busy weekday. The waiter, who wasn't exactly in a good mood, wanted to seat us on the crowded and noisy veranda. He didn't seem to like the fact that we sat down in the beer garden because it was empty. We simply weren't served promptly. Maybe the walk was too long for him, even though we were sitting right next to the building. I think after 20 minutes you should have at least ordered a drink. Only the colleague from the veranda deserved the star because she was very nice. We left hungry and thirsty and will definitely not be coming back.

The pizza was lukewarm, soggy, and generally not of high quality. What was worse, however, was the music, which was far too loud for my opinion; it was almost impossible to have a normal conversation. When I asked if the music could be made a little quieter, I was initially met with a response, then said: "...we can do that...". But nothing happened. So when I go out to eat I want to be able to have a conversation without effort, otherwise I'll go to the disco. I think a quiet, instrumental background music is ok, but that was an imposition for me personally.

A restaurant in a top location is so ruined by catastrophic service. The menu with cruelty-free dishes is pitifully small, but extremely confusing. For lunch we ordered bruschetta and vegan nuggets as a starter with fries. The main course is vegan schnitzel with fries and a side salad. The drinks arrived after we had already started with the starters, and it should be noted that there were only four (!!!) tables occupied in the restaurant. So you can't speak of overloading the staff. When the main course was served, I didn't get any cutlery, so I ordered it later. The schnitzels were completely covered with a thick, mushy mass (that was probably supposed to be the peanut sauce) and instead of the French fries in the second portion there was the "side salad" on it, which was actually supposed to be extra. So we also ordered the Pommed Fries in addition to the missing cutlery. NOTHING happened. Using the only knife left over from the starter, we pre-cut our schnitzels, which had ZERO crispy because they were drowned in this sauce. The schnitzels themselves were also bottom class, unfortunate when you consider what excellent varieties there are now (Tindle, Rügenwalder, Vivera, etc.). I then ate my pre-cut Wabbel schnitzel and fries with the wooden stick, which has these extra leaf flags on it that are used to "decorate" the food. At some point the waitress came by our table and noticed that he had forgotten to bring the cutlery and finally delivered it, but we were almost finished eating. He announced the French fries were still missing in “2 to 3 minutes”. When we had finished eating and were cleared away, the French fries that we had ordered ages ago and were also promised ages ago arrived. Served on a small cake plate - and consistently kept - WITHOUT cutlery. It's really pathetic that a store in an exposed location can be brought into such disrepute with incompetent staff. And if you're wondering now: we would have liked to have had a cruelty-free dessert, but the operators apparently haven't come up with the idea of ​​offering something like that in 2024. That was the first and last time we were in this store.

I then reserved a table for the breakfast buffet the next day! This morning at 9 a.m. we received a very warm welcome again! The buffet was outstanding 😍Thanks to everyone who was involved, also big praise to the entire kitchen. Awesome job you did there. It wasn't the last time we were there!! We were there with a larger group. Although you can't make a reservation for the terrace, the staff still made it possible for us to get a table for so many people within 10 minutes. The food was also very tasty, but unfortunately there were a few points that we noticed negatively. Unfortunately, we had a very disappointing experience at Extrablatt two weeks ago. The waiters Mert and Hamza were extremely rude and repeatedly took our orders incorrectly. Instead of responding kindly when we asked for correction, we were only treated with irritation and disrespect. Service overall was very slow and inattentive, even though the cafe wasn't full. It's a shame, because the ambience is otherwise very appealing. Hopefully the service quality will be worked on.
