Always worth a visit, food and service were great

Very cool shop. Great service and something for everyone. A vegan schnitzel holiday is fantastic.

We went there as a family. Unfortunately, the quality has declined in recent years. This applies to both the food and the service. What a shame.

A very pleasant, comfortable atmosphere, very crowded on holidays. In a traditionally Spanish restaurant, I want Spanish food like paella, tortilla espanola, tapas, jamon iberico, etc. There's no Spanish cuisine at all. While some of the various schnitzels have Mediterranean names, at the end of the day, nothing special ends up on the plate. A frozen schnitzel swimming in the fryer next to the fries, a dollop of hype sauce to give it a Mediterranean name, and then they charge almost €20 for it. You can get the same quality at any street food stand for less. Nevertheless, the staff are friendly and attentive, and the place is clean and well-maintained.

I really liked it. I went based on reviews and because it was close by and very convenient. The staff was very friendly, and the food and drinks were great. I couldn't ask for more. The prices were reasonable for Germany.

A nice restaurant with a nice atmosphere, but unfortunately the food ruined it all a bit. The starter (house-made bread, chicken wings, Provençal) was beautifully presented, the portions quite large for one serving, but very tasty. Unfortunately, the main course (Schnitzel de Sol) was the exact opposite of the starter. €18 for a frozen schnitzel from the deep fryer (presumably) and McDonald's-level fries, carelessly "arranged" on a plate, a la a swimming pool snack bar. The salad that came with it didn't even look fresh. The service was very friendly but a bit uncoordinated and slow, so unfortunately, there was no drink available with my meal. My remaining fries, which I had ordered to take away before paying, didn't arrive either. Unfortunately, I wouldn't recommend the schnitzel. Too bad!

After not being at Café del Sol for a while (unfortunately, it had simply declined in all areas), we were pleasantly surprised this time. Service was quite prompt, and drinks and food were brought promptly. The quality has definitely improved. These are all my personal experiences and assessments, and of course, they may change at any time.

Nice shop with friendly service, always on rotation. The prices are reasonable, too, and here's the thing: I don't like it when people immediately start to act mean. Even though it seems to be part of the company philosophy, I don't want to be addressed informally.

Absolute praise to the dedicated staff who were always friendly and helpful despite the busy Saturday crowds. Otherwise, a well-known chain restaurant.

As beautifully presented and delicious as the food for the grown-ups is, the "Tom Tomato" pasta (pasta with tomato sauce) for kids is a joke. Especially since the name suggests tomato rather than pasta. 😂 Visited on September 21, 2025, at 5:00 PM.

Great customer service and atmosphere, where you can relax and have a good time. Seems like the drinks are the best part of the menu. The food is similar to what you'd find at an American chain.

The ambiance is great and typical of the chain. My only minor criticism is that the burger still has a lot of room for improvement. The patties are frozen, in my opinion. Homemade patties would be more appropriate. Or get fresh ones at Metro. The pinsa was very good. As a little highlight, they also come with scissors for cutting it into small pieces. Something different. 👍

We came here for dinner for the first time in a long time, just to unwind from the stressful week. As always, even after such a long wait, we weren't disappointed—it was and always is a wonderful experience. One thing really impressed us and was the icing on the cake: the waitress Sabrina "Hexhex" was friendly, fast, and simply authentic, with such energy (hats off to her) that many people could still learn a thing or two from her. So go ahead and let yourself be enchanted by the "little witch Sabrina" and enjoy the food.

I won't be back. One of the waitresses was totally pushy and rude. I find the way she spoke to the customers inappropriate. And asking customers repeatedly to order a Ramazzotti is also unnecessary! I finished my burger, but the beef was cold and hard. Things are definitely better at McDoof. The peach iced tea is absolutely delicious. I just don't understand why there's an empty skewer in the glass. The others had a fruit on the skewer 🤷 The restroom smelled bad, and there was no toilet paper. The last drinks ordered were charged, but never brought. So there's still room for improvement in every area. 😉

The food and drinks were delicious as always. However, I had the feeling that the schnitzel had gotten smaller, or rather, the already not-so-cheap prices had gone up a bit. You have to be able to afford, or even want to, the lovely ambiance of the Cafè del Sol.

A truly great atmosphere, albeit a bit noisy at times due to the architecture. The outdoor areas are truly cozy and highly recommended. The staff are friendly and helpful, happy to answer any questions about the menu. The only drawback: the kitchen unfortunately relies heavily on convenience foods, or at least that's the impression. But it was still tasty.

We've enjoyed coming here for many years. Of course, the changes of today's times are noticeable here, too (especially the staff shortage). But we're usually served super quickly, and no matter what we order, it's always delicious. And of course, the staff are great too, and they always deserve a tip. 😉

We went for brunch today (Sunday). From the phone reservation to the waitress on site, everyone was super friendly. Excellent service, not intrusive but always attentive to the guests. Unfortunately, that's a rare occurrence these days. Plus, an extensive, delicious, and fresh buffet. Thank you so much! We'd love to come back.

The access and ample, free parking are very convenient. We were there at lunchtime, and the restaurant wasn't very busy. I had a pinsa with avocado, but it was still very underripe. For a drink, I highly recommend the homemade iced tea. The service was very friendly, but you shouldn't clear the table while people are still eating.

“Unfortunately disappointing – service and organization urgently need improvement.” We had called before our visit to ask if a reservation was necessary. The staff told us, “No, there are enough seats.” There wasn't a single free seat outside, so we had to sit inside. After being seated, it took about 15 minutes for someone to come and take our order. We didn't receive our drinks for another 30 minutes, so a total of 45 minutes of waiting time – before we even asked about appetizers (which, unfortunately, didn't happen automatically). About 15 minutes later, we ordered an appetizer and main course together. Here, too, another wait of about 20 minutes. The food itself was, unfortunately, equally disappointing: • The wrong sauces were served with the house bread. Substitutions weren't possible. • My ordered burger didn't arrive at all. • The bacon I ordered was instead on my son's plate, just on top of his fries. The waitress dropped her tray, and the drinks landed on the guests at the next table. This was very unpleasant to witness and underscores the impression of a lack of routine and overwork in the service department. ⸻ We understand the stress in the restaurant industry and that mistakes can happen – but this multitude of mishaps and the lack of organization should be a clear wake-up call for management. If qualified staff is hard to find, consider offering better conditions or pay – after all, the prices charged here are by no means low. One expects a certain standard of service.

The menu is quite limited, but the food was delicious. I love the atmosphere, especially in the summer with the terrace.

We finally went for brunch again. I have to say, it's improved quite a bit. Vegetarians also have a good selection. The only downside is that the hot portion of the brunch isn't so great for vegetarians (except for the egg selection). There's room for improvement there.

My chosen burger and fries were both charged more than the menu stated! (The burger was €1.30, the fries were €2.70.) I asked the waitress about it, but she didn't offer any compensation.

The café is conveniently located on the main road and offers ample parking – very convenient. It was already busy in the morning, which speaks volumes about the quality. I particularly enjoyed the delicious breakfast buffet. You can sit inside or outside, and the guest area is spacious. The staff was friendly and attentive. Overall, a pleasant atmosphere – it's a pleasure to be here. I'll definitely be back!

After a good 20 minutes, we got up and left. There were four employees behind the counter and they were so deep in conversation that they didn't have time to ask why we were even sitting there...

Things used to be better here... We waited over an hour for our food. Guests who arrived much later than us got their food earlier... We visited with six people (two children) at 6 p.m. and were forgotten despite ordering. Anything can happen—but no apology or offer. It's a shame.

In my opinion, I wouldn't recommend it. We waited over an hour for our food, and it was cold, too. A little tip for long waits: don't order an appetizer, otherwise your receipt will be added to the back of the menu. - That was the waitress's tip, thanks again for that!

We were there today for lunch with a group of six, and it was absolutely terrible. It started with a 30-minute wait before our orders were even taken, followed by over an hour of waiting for the food to arrive. On top of that, the meals were served 15 minutes apart, and half the people had already finished eating by the time the last portions were served. To top it all off, the service was unfriendly, and they offered a witty tip. I quote: "Just don't order a starter, then you won't have to wait so long." In conclusion, I can't recommend this restaurant.

We went there for coffee today. I'm a regular customer and have been here several times. Unfortunately, today I was very disappointed. The service was terrible. Unfriendly; you're simply overlooked and not noticed. We paid almost €8 each for a coffee, as a large drink costs an extra €3.60. This borders on customer fraud, as large drinks aren't declared. Does that mean a €4 drink plus an extra €3.60... making almost €8 for a large macchiato? That's certainly not normal. When I asked about it, I received a blunt, unfriendly answer. Please rework the staff. Thank you.

We were there for a business meeting. The breakfast was very good. But the tables are so close together that there's barely enough room for four people. That could perhaps be improved.

It was very nice here today. The food and service were excellent. The only thing to complain about was the volume of the music and therefore the volume of the guests. It was impossible to have a quiet conversation. Hence, one star 🌟 less for the ambiance.

We had pinsa, various salads, schnitzel, fries, etc. Everything was very, very good. There's something for everyone, even vegetarians and vegans.

Unfortunately, a complete disaster. The atmosphere was very nice and the service friendly. Unfortunately, our order was completely forgotten. Only after repeatedly asking the waitress was it taken care of – but to no avail. Ultimately, we canceled the order and waited almost two hours for nothing.

Café del Sol. Because it's a chain, you know what to expect and what you'll get. The interiors are identical at almost all of the "shops" and are really well-designed. We sat outside on the really large terrace. The service was prompt, and the food there is really good and delicious, both in terms of quality and the way it's prepared. We'd be happy to go back!

03/25: 70. My parents celebrated brunch there on a Sunday at the end of March. The price for the food, since we basically had breakfast and lunch, was perfectly reasonable, especially considering the drink prices. Nice service. 12/24: Went there for brunch. Making a reservation worked out great, even after a long time. The food was very extensive and varied. We had very friendly and competent service. We'd be happy to come back.

Highly recommended, great food (the burger in the picture was cut in half by us) and very friendly service. The interior is beautifully open, with a nice decor and a good ambiance. The terrace outside is also beautifully designed with plenty of different seating options (wooden benches, stools, regular chairs, sofas, etc.). Overall, the restaurant is highly recommended, both for families and groups of friends.

We made a reservation for two people. We waited for a while, and the staff walked past us. Finally, a waiter took pity on us. The table right by the entrance wasn't great. The buffet was OK. The service was a bit overwhelmed at times, but attentive. I think the price for Sunday brunch is too high. If you like it loud, this is the place for you. But overall, it's good.

We've been to Café del Sol for brunch a few times. The atmosphere is very nice and the selection is also very varied. However, it takes some time for someone to take the drink order. The various dishes from the buffet are only replenished very slowly, many people then wait in front of the empty containers and there is even less space than already.

We had reserved in advance because it was our first visit and we didn't know if it would be very crowded. The food was very tasty and you didn't have to wait long. Would definitely come again. Lots of choice of food and also a lot for vegetarians and vegans. 🌱 🥑

Just disappointing in every way

It was a lovely experience at Café del Sol. The food was really great, the service was impeccable. Very attentive and quick. There is a small minus point for the volume. You don't understand your own words, let alone those of the waitress. A noise protection project would actually be advisable here. We were there at lunchtime when only half the restaurant was occupied. I don't even want to imagine what it's like in the evening with a full house.

Eat deliciously, kids always find something.

We were there today for Easter brunch and were disappointed. For me it wasn't brunch but just breakfast. The selection of breakfast was okay but not much and warm food there wasn't a big selection. Furthermore, it is sporty for people who are only around 170 to see what is in the warming containers. You should think about a different structure for the buffet.

Despite pre-ordering food and making a reservation, the food took over 45 minutes. Overall it's a nice restaurant to eat in, I like the atmosphere. Unfortunately the service is very slow and the burgers are not recommended.

I can only recommend Cafe Del Sol. It was very busy, but the service was super friendly and very quick. Our friendly waitress Celina was great and gave us very good advice. Thanks to the great staff, it was a successful and cozy evening. I would love to go there again and again. Addendum: Reservations by telephone are also no problem. The staff were very friendly, calm and accommodating. I'm really looking forward to the next visit.
