Very tasty food with lots of choice. Medium price range 50€ for 2 people. Very nice staff. Nice ambience. Despite the high number of visitors, you can still have a good time. Parking space available. These are my experiences, they may vary and I can only recommend it.

Nice, friendly service, good food, short waiting time from schnitzel to schnitzel... Unfortunately, after 4 portions I was full 😉

I ordered a lasagne. Halfway through - the portion was quite small - I noticed that the inside of the lasagna was getting colder and colder. So I returned them. After a while of waiting (my companion had long since finished eating) I got a new one. Before I started eating, I felt the middle to be on the safe side - ice cold. So I returned it and that was it for me. Additionally, the tomato on my friend's burger was pale and unappetizing. I wonder where you get something like that and why you serve it. At least I didn't have to pay for my lasagne, but a small gesture, e.g. B. a refunded iced tea would have been nice. I can't remember ever being so disappointed with a restaurant. Ps: I tried to post the picture of the tomato, but Google apparently sees it as damaging to my reputation, so the picture cannot be published.

Cool place where you can eat something and drink a glass of wine later after a concert.

Waiting time for order to be taken was half an hour even though it wasn't full. Reorder was forgotten and service was unfriendly. The table wasn't really clean and there probably isn't much cleaning in general. I will not recommend it and will avoid it in the future.

It's always a great experience in this restaurant. There was nothing to complain about. I would love to come back here. The selection was very plentiful and the buffet was lovingly prepared. One small flaw: Quite high for smaller people.

Unsatisfactory visit despite delicious food We were at Café del Sol and unfortunately found that our visit was anything but satisfactory. The restaurant was almost completely full, which initially made a good impression. Unfortunately, the organization was not designed for this. When we ordered beer, it turned out that there were no beer glasses - an absolute standard that should not be missing in a restaurant. Additionally, we had to wait about two hours for our food after we ordered. This is understandable in a full restaurant, but still completely unacceptable. The only positive thing was that the food ended up being really tasty. But the long waiting times and the lack of service significantly spoil the overall impression. Unfortunately, we cannot recommend Café del Sol under these circumstances.

We wanted to eat something today and were unfortunately a bit disappointed. We were provided with drinks quite quickly and also ordered food, but this took a long time to arrive. My food came after more than half an hour, my husband's food came when I had almost finished mine and his burger was cold. Unfortunately, a cozy meal together was not possible. We would have liked to have something to drink with our meal, but unfortunately the waitress hardly paid any attention to us and wasn't very attentive either. We also went to the counter to pay because the service was still a long time coming. My food was delicious and the atmosphere is also appealing.

Waited 1.5 hours for the food... well the burgers tasted like they had been thrown together in 3 minutes (dry, the cheese slice was solid and not melted, the patty and bun were dry)... Despite having a reservation, you wait at the counter from 6:30 p.m. to 6:50 p.m. because the table is not yet free. Another 20 minutes later, drinks and food are finally consumed. Here's the comment "Eating and drinking could take longer".... Wheat is served in a warm glass. COOK WHO PREPARES THE PINSA WORKS WITHOUT GLOVES!! Absolutely unhygienic. After 8:30 p.m. the food still wasn't there (still wasn't when we asked) and we weren't asked again for drinks or anything like that, we left. All of a sudden the food would have been ready, but after waiting for 2 hours you weren't hungry anymore! Outrageous!!! Never again. All in all, unusually long waiting times, poor service and dirty toilets. What a shop...

As always, a great location. Plenty of parking spaces available, nice atmosphere. You can always find a place without having to make reservations in advance. Good cocktails, good coffee. There has been a revised menu for some time now, there is something for everyone! Whether the classic currywurst or more unusual dishes. Always hot, always fresh, always lovingly prepared and always brought to the table promptly. The service? Extremely friendly and attentive waitresses and waiters. I really enjoy coming here!!!

A sheer disaster. The meal takes at least 1 hour and then it's still cold... if you want starters, you have to say so. Otherwise everything is on the table together. You should divide up your drinks, because you can't have more than one drink in about 2 hours! Nowadays, an apology is no longer appropriate and neither is thinking! So it's better to go to another restaurant with more service...

We love coming here to have breakfast or something for lunch. The staff is always friendly and the selection of food and drinks is very large! Everyone will find something here.

For breakfast with friends, I can only recommend Café del Sol. It was very plentiful and tasty, from savory to sweet. With good food and nice conversations, the time passed far too quickly. We'd love to come back...

The schnitzel was inedible and completely overpriced. The table wasn't cleared, you had to ask the staff several times about it.

We had dinner here yesterday. We had to wait 20 minutes before we were even registered. Drinks came relatively quickly but were then forgotten so that we could place our order for food, which was 50 minutes later. We waited another hour until our food came. We were then able to eat at 8:50 p.m. and were out with the children at 9:30 p.m. The waiting times are a complete disaster. If the food wasn't tasty, it would only have been one star.

We are here for dinner on December 31st....we made reservations in advance. Were a bit early but were welcomed and served very nicely. Our order was taken quickly and the waiting time was very short. The food was excellent and, as always, plentiful. Despite the busyness, the staff came to the table from time to time and asked if everything was OK. Very friendly service. We felt very well looked after here and would definitely like to come back!

Wir hatten reserviert, jedoch ist dies irgendwie untergegangen. Es wurde sich sehr schnell bemüht einen Tisch zu finden und es hat geklappt. Die Bestellung ging sehr zügig und es gab keine Abstriche im Angebot. Das Essen hat sehr gut geschmeckt. Die Mitarbeiter sind sehr freundlich und nett. Alles in allem ein schöner Abend und wir kommen sehr gern wieder.

The waiting time for food and drinks is simply too long and something like that cannot be compensated for with friendliness. First and last visit. Addendum from December 29, 2024: The waiting time hasn't gotten any better, and it's absurd that we have to wait even longer for our food when we order an appetizer. In my imagination, an appetizer has, among other things: also the purpose of bridging the waiting time, but if you have to wait even longer, no thanks. Food was only lukewarm, which is really great with fries and sweet potato fries. The taste is really just mediocre. I'm really disappointed with this Cafe Del Sol in particular, I haven't had anything like it before. This time it will be the last visit to the Erfurt Cafe Del Sol.

Hello, I have been to the CDS for many years and unfortunately I was very disappointed with the food and drink. The cola I ordered didn't indicate at all what I was drinking Afri-Cola maybe??? No carbonation and tons of ice cubes that made this drink increasingly undrinkable. But I thought ok, it can happen :-/………. I ordered a burger with fries and they arrived 40 minutes after the coke:-(. The fries were perhaps still lukewarm and the burger too. This food was perhaps hot when it was prepared, but then it sat around for too long ?????? That The highlight was the lukewarm patties, which were so firm that you could hardly chew them. The meat was really...disgusting...I burped half the night. Fast food is better!!!!!! What annoys me the most personally is that I persuaded an old school friend to go to Café del Sol even though he didn't want to. And he had the same experience, only he had a Sprite that was also non-carbonated. He could only eat half of his Cesarburger It was inedible, too solid and no temperature……….Too bad

Had dinner for two in the evening. The Reservation was nice and friendly accepted and the waiting time until the table became free, it was timely manageable. The staff is very courteous, kind and friendly.Sabrina, our waitress was very attentive and very careful. Many Thanks for the entertaining evening.@ The food is definitely still there expandable. At least what that is Arrangement of the food on the plates Unfortunately, it doesn't reflect the ambience again! Could be a little more appealing be arranged. In summary...except for small drawbacks, a successful evening!

I'm a little disappointed... a lot of money for not enough food. My friend ordered a Pinsa for €15 but he couldn't get enough. It was a shame because it was just too small. Just like my portion of pasta, a lot of money for too little quantity. I had two dried tomatoes and maybe 4 chicken strips for which I paid €4.90 extra. Everything tasted very tasty but for that much money I expect that I'll go home full and not hungry..😕

Good gastronomy. Full house on Sunday for breakfast. The food was varied and good. What was missing was the quick filling of the empty plates and the ingredients for the yoghurt and muesli. Nevertheless, I would recommend it again at any time.

We were very disappointed! The cafe wasn't particularly full on Saturday afternoon but it still took over an hour until we had our food. The food was the most disappointing part. The fries were frozen and tasted more like convenient. The chicken tasted burnt and the portion was a bit carelessly prepared. However, the prices were more like those in a good restaurant. Unfortunately the price performance is not right. The drinks weren't that great in terms of taste either, except for the passion fruit del sol! The raspberries in the Lillet had a fishy aroma. The ambience itself was very nice, but it was only ruined by the pungent smell of the toilet... a real shame!

I was at Café del Sol in Erfurt today and I can tell you: it was a taste explosion that my stomach celebrated! As soon as I walked in, I felt like I had accidentally booked a short vacation in a Mediterranean oasis. Chilled music and so much good vibes that I almost thought I had to put on sunglasses to avoid being blinded by the vibe. Then came the moment of decision: the schnitzel menu. I was so overwhelmed that I read the menu three times as if it were a mysterious book that you just can't decipher. Viennese style schnitzel? Hollandaise schnitzel or schnitzel with paprika sauce? I was a case for “schnitzel or not schnitzel, that is the question”. But don't worry, the waiter - a true schnitzel whisperer - recognized my dilemma immediately. “Why not try all three?” So the waiter ordered me all three variants. What came next was schnitzel magic! A plate that looked like a gourmet version of "Lord of the Rings" - the schnitzel trio of power. Every bite is an adventure: crispy, juicy, and so delicious. The crème brûlée at Café del Sol? An addictive crunch and underneath a cream so good that my taste buds jumped for joy. A dessert that makes your taste buds dance! In short: If you really want to feast and bathe in schnitzel happiness, head to Café del Sol in Erfurt! My stomach and I can't wait to come back - I'll bring elastic pants with me just to be safe!

We have been guests at Cafe del Sol many times, but have now noticed several times that everything has become very poor. The food was usually great, but this time it was very disappointing. We ordered a Thai curry bowl, which simply tasted poor. Consisting of a lot of rice with a little pepper on top was sobering. We used to know things differently and much better. In addition, my food came from the kitchen garnished with “fresh” hair. Everything goes away, that's not possible. We will definitely go to another location in the future.

Super delicious food. We were a small group (12 people). The drinks came quickly, the service was super nice, the food was tasty and came quite quickly. All in all great. We'd love to come back.

We come to the Del Sol several times at the end of the day, but what happened last night was really underground, it seemed to me like in GDR times, a service staff was so rude to guests because they didn't stop at the entrance and let themselves be seated... the whole place was already almost empty... the guests were really offended and left with the words... we come here so often but something like that has never happened to me... if that had happened to me I would have left too, and the words from the service were there too Still... we still decide where the guests sit... I don't think that's what the management wants.

Far too expensive, the Pinsa was a ready-made frozen product. At least it tastes that way. Good chefs used to work there, but unfortunately that has changed. Not a restaurant but a snack bar with ready-made products.

Service: The staff were consistently friendly and extremely attentive. Particularly noteworthy is the restaurant management, who discreetly and politely asked each table whether everything was OK and how satisfied the guests were. We found this personal touch very pleasant. Small points of criticism were openly accepted and attempts were made to find a solution immediately. This respectful approach to feedback shows how important guest satisfaction is to the team. Conclusion: The Café del Sole not only offers excellent food and a pleasant atmosphere, but also service that is characterized by discreet attention and an open approach to criticism. We were completely satisfied and can only recommend this café. 5 stars – A great place that we will happily visit again!

Very long wait until the food was at the table. The service was constantly changing and it was very confusing as a guest. The portions were very small, just 3 small chicken nuggets and a few fries, which didn't fill my child up. My Avocado Pinsa only had 4 small pieces of avocado on it. It's a real shame, I would have expected more. Wouldn't come back again either.

The food was good, but sometimes the noise in the Sol café was more reminiscent of a train station hall. The waitresses are nice to the customers, although the waiters occasionally talk to each other loudly like “peasants”. The guest doesn't necessarily have to notice something like that. Stable food with deductions in the volume and tone of colleagues' interactions with one another.

Unfortunately it wasn't good. Service staff were very unfriendly and we waited forever for food. When the food came, the table didn't receive all of the food, but all at different times... a shame. Unfortunately, (one) turkey schnitzel wasn't really cooked through. The Café del Sol has definitely had better days. Location is really great - but one or two employees are really flying high.

I don't understand why people like going here. The food is neither lovingly prepared nor is it of convincing quality. Been here again for a long time, it's in a good location. It took quite a long time until we were served. The service staff was friendly, but quite quiet and uncoordinated even though there was little going on. Of the four drinks we ordered, only two arrived, the other two 10 minutes later. Unfortunately the quality of the food is poor and the taste is nothing special. My fries were cold and the mushroom cream sauce was more sweet than savory. The rest of the dishes were similar. Accordingly, the price is not justified. If a run-of-the-mill schnitzel is enough for you, you'll find what you're looking for here, you shouldn't expect much more. For me it was the last time. There are plus points for the ambience in the outdoor area and the large vegetarian and vegan food selection.

More than a cafe, a good restaurant from morning to night!

We were there for lunch and are very satisfied. The food came quickly, the service was super nice and accommodating. The food was super tasty and absolutely filled you up! We have been there many times and will stop by again and again. Keep it up!

Very bad shop. A fast food restaurant, nothing more. The only thing that was polite were the individual waiters. Except the cashier, who was absolutely pazig several times. No condiments or sauces on the tables. Actually wanted to get up and leave before ordering. We ordered a pizza that was only half and had to request extra balsamic vinegar and that was great. The drinks (cocktails) were disgusting, they both tasted like sugar water, reminded me of Egypt. Insect traps, which are banned in Germany, were hung everywhere in the outdoor area. There were 12 insect traps and we're not talking about flies here, but rather wasp traps. Never again . The shop is not recommended and is also far too expensive for Frass.

A beautifully furnished restaurant all year round. Enjoy your meal. Unfortunately the waiter wasn't in the best mood that day and it was clearly noticeable. Otherwise it was a nice evening.

Unfortunately, it initially took a very long time (>25 minutes) until someone from the service came to us and took our drink order, even though there was hardly anything going on. At this point it was just us sitting inside the restaurant. Only the gentleman who brought us the food asked several times as he walked past whether anything was missing or how it tasted. If this hadn't been the case I would have only given the service one star
