Typischer Diner, in der Gegend herausragend. Neuerdings ab 21:00 keine Küche mehr, daher gehe ich jetzt woanders hin. 🙁

Extremely dissatisfied. On a Thursday evening, there weren't even many people around. We've been sitting for 30 minutes without service, and there are plenty of staff!

We went for the schnitzel buffet. Absolutely delicious!

Unfortunately too crowded and much too loud on Sundays. Otherwise very cozy

Unfortunately, it wasn't that good. The food tasted good, the cocktail too, but we had to wait almost 45 minutes for the food. It was about as loud as Bremen Central Station. I ordered a schnitzel holiday, but was only allowed to reorder one because it was just after 9 p.m. and the kitchen closes at 10 p.m.

It was just a little expensive.

The atmosphere was amazing! Breakfast was okay.

We ordered schnitzel and drinks - the schnitzel arrived raw inside. The waitress took both plates back and had them remade. The schnitzel was raw inside again. This took about 40 minutes in total, and we had already finished our drinks. We didn't want to give it a third try, as we were already extremely hungry and wanted to eat somewhere else. We still had to pay for the drinks. They were fine. No words.

Everything was delicious. I'd gladly go back.

Six of us were there for the first time today. I'd read a few reviews beforehand and was very skeptical, but we were pleasantly surprised. The service was friendly and courteous. We barely had to wait to order. The food came very quickly and was very good. Everything was warm and tasted great. I recommend making a reservation, as there were a lot of people there and there were hardly any seats left. Thank you for the evening with you, and compliments to the service staff and the kitchen. I'd love to come back ❤️ P.S.: you should always form your own opinion and not always believe what other people write online. 😉

Somewhat outdated overall concept

Very friendly staff, who often have a smile on their faces. As a dog owner, I especially like that dogs are allowed both inside and outside, and they even kindly filled our bowl with fresh water. The breakfast buffet has a very large selection and is constantly refilled until the end of the buffet. We enjoy going there.

Yes, it was a nice interior, but the service was not good. It was barely busy when we were there. And the waitresses just stood around behind the counter. Impossible.

The food was very good, the service even better! (September 18, 1:27 PM), the music was a bit too loud, and the overall noise level was tiring. But it was bearable....

We had a very pleasant stay thanks to the very friendly and attentive service and the truly delicious food. Thanks for that, @Rouven, we'll be back.

Loved the different kinds of bread on offer. The egg salad was delicious too. The wait staff were also very nice and the ambience was great too. There is also outdoor seating which I appreciate.

The tables are close together, but when it's not too crowded, you still have some peace and quiet. The service is excellent, everyone is very friendly, and the food tastes good.

Large, slightly echoey, but overall well-designed. The ambiance is well-thought-out, the lighting is just right, the food is delicious, and the service was very attentive. Still, I'd rather go to an Italian restaurant with my sweetheart...

We were there for brunch today at 9:00. The selection of rolls and toppings was very limited. For a price of 21.90 per person, no drinks were included. The bacon that came with the scrambled eggs wasn't recognizable as such; it was more like a lump of bacon...but that's probably because the so-called scrambled eggs were more like a solid yellow mass...all in all, once and never again...

My friend and I were there, and it was empty. After 20 minutes, no one came to the table to take our order. Despite us letting them know we wanted to order, no one came.

After waiting for about 15 minutes, no one came to us. When we finally asked to order something, we were told that a colleague would be informed to take our order. But even after another 10 minutes, no one showed up. So we got up and left. We've never experienced anything like this before!

Unfriendly staff! "Daria" claimed to be the front of house. The staff only came to pay – neither to ask how the food was nor to take our orders. We sat there for over half an hour without being offered food or drinks. After the lack of service, we wanted to pay, and our mood matched the service. After we didn't tip, we were told we were unfriendly and asked to leave the restaurant – by the front of house herself. Actually, it deserves 0 stars!

Unbelievable! I've never experienced anything like this before. I'd love to give it zero stars. Totally unfriendly and incompetent staff. We were insulted by the "shift manager," Daria, and yelled at in front of all the other customers. After we wanted to pay without a tip, she said we were totally unfriendly. After we asked to speak to the manager because we were so shocked, she said the manager wasn't there and that she was the manager here. I'm simply shocked!! Never again.

Since I was able to go back to Bremen, I stopped here today. 🚗 The interior is very fresh and nicely decorated. I especially liked the large and very comfortable sofas 🛋. The menu is well-designed and has a lot to offer. Unfortunately, they didn't have what I would have liked to order today, so I opted for the burger 🍔, which was mid-range, but the sweet potato fries 🍟 were worth mentioning!!! Very well done!!! The service was full of enthusiasm and immediately threw my drinks on the floor. But nothing happened!!! Today was a solid experience ☝️. Oh yes: there's a fully covered outdoor area, also very nicely done!! S

A very nice restaurant with plenty of parking on site. The Tesla charging stations in the parking lot are also very convenient—otherwise, we wouldn't have been here. The atmosphere is very pleasant, and since our drink order couldn't be fulfilled, we were offered a suitable alternative. The staff were very friendly, and we would be happy to come back.

Yes, Café del Sol is always recommended, but the prices and what you get are a real shock... €5.60 for a handful of sweet potato fries... I found that rather cheeky... But the taste and quality are top-notch...

We went for brunch on Sunday and were disappointed. 21 euros for a mediocre buffet. There was little fruit. Food wasn't replenished promptly. The hot dishes ran out early and weren't refilled. No drinks were included. The interior ambiance is nice, but the open-plan layout makes it very noisy. There's no play area for children. A plus is that plates are cleared quickly.

You can eat well here. It's loud when the place is full. When the weather's nice, you can sit outside.

We were here for brunch for the first time in a long time, but unfortunately, it's not as good as it once was. The selection has shrunk considerably, there were too few servers, and apparently no one to refill the dishes. We had booked for 11:00 a.m., and unfortunately, many of the dishes were simply gone. Overall, we expected more for the price. It's a shame.

Breakfast buffet with a large selection... it was always well refilled. The atmosphere was very nice, even for a large group. Unfortunately, all the coffees were cold and very bitter, barely drinkable. Despite alerting us, no new ones were made; instead, they served us sugar.

We were there as a group. Even though the store was 80% empty, the staff seemed pretty stressed. Parking is plentiful, though.

Really not recommended. The waiter was extremely unmotivated... Accordingly, we didn't stay long. If I were him, I wouldn't have mentioned at the end that you could leave a tip; it just seemed very rude.

Mich hat es gestern nicht begeistert. Der Geräuschpegel ist unverhältnismäßig hoch, eine Unterhaltung am Tisch mit mehren Personen wird sehr schwer. Ich bin auch nicht begeistert vom Essen. Der Burger war nicht gut, trocken und geschmacklich nicht der Brüller. Wir waren mit 11 Personen da, der letzte bekam sein Essen als die ersten fertig waren. Die Bedienung war bemüht, aber mehr auch nicht.

Bad service, it takes forever (18 minutes) to get a waiter, and then only because you got the menu yourself. We waited over an hour for the food! I really can't recommend it!

We went there for lunch today. First, it took forever for someone to serve us. Then we approached a waiter ourselves. My daughter's fries were cold. My meal was missing sun-dried tomatoes. My friend ordered a chocolate ice cream. It was made with strawberry ice cream. After we pointed it out, the waitress said it was a chocolate ice cream—you can tell. We asked for a new chocolate ice cream. She got one, too. It was strange, but it was suddenly a mistake. We were very disappointed today. We won't be coming back. By the way, dogs aren't allowed to sit on the chairs either. I noticed that at the next table, too.

Yes, it was absolutely fine. It was definitely too loud inside, but it was pleasant outside, the drinks and food were delicious, and the prices were a bit higher than usual!

Actually, it's pretty good 👍. Unfortunately, some of the dishes are quite expensive. I realize that the staff, the building, and the food procurement all factor into the calculation. However, I can't remember paying almost 20 euros (about 40 Deutschmarks) plus a drink for a schnitzel with fries (the portions are good) back in the days of the DM (German D-Mark). Mind you, this was a meal for one person. It was definitely delicious.

The entrance is very nice, and the atmosphere inside is cozy. The staff were friendly. We were there in a group and ordered together – unfortunately, I was the only one who didn't get my food at first. Something must have gone wrong. After about 5-10 minutes, my food finally arrived, but unfortunately, without an apology or even a small offer of compensation – which I found unfortunate. I had the feta burger, which unfortunately seemed carelessly prepared. The feta was just cut into a few cold cubes – I would have preferred it to be served warm and slightly melted. I think the burger is too expensive.

I recently visited Café del Sol in Brinkum and was completely impressed. I was particularly impressed by the waitress, Rihanna – she was extremely friendly, attentive, and her warm demeanor made us feel immediately welcome. The service was not only personable but also very professional. The food arrived surprisingly quickly and was truly delicious – you can tell that everything is well organized here. Overall, a very pleasant visit with great service and fast-paced food. I'd love to come back!

We were there on a Saturday for the breakfast buffet. The service took a while to bring the drinks we ordered. Unfortunately, you have to pay extra for each drink. The food was average. I'd like to mention the delicious fresh bread. The ambiance was great; we sat by the large window, which was bright and spacious.

I was there yesterday with two friends. We wanted vanilla ice cream with chocolate sauce and muesli. Vanilla ice cream wasn't available, so they offered an alternative. Two chocolate ice creams and one pistachio ice cream. Sorry, but the chocolate ice cream was inedible, bitter, and watery 🤮 the pistachio ice cream was covered in ice crystals. The chocolate ice cream was returned in its entirety. We then had to argue and were told that it was from the best ice cream maker and that it couldn't be true that the ice cream didn't taste good, so we paid the total amount of about €4.10. They also politely asked us twice if we could order another coffee. We waited about an hour until yesterday's shift manager came to the table, very rude and annoyed, and wanted to take our order. We then paid, but then had to listen to him say he was stressed and there were technical problems. We meet there regularly for coffee or a meal, but since yesterday, we won't be going into that place again. The way the supposed shift manager reacted yesterday was absolutely outrageous.

Cafe del Sol, Bremen Neustadt I highly recommend this restaurant. Good atmosphere and good food at a fair price. Best, Jenny

Burgers cold, pasta cold, schnitzel more crispy than juicy. It's getting worse and worse. No longer recommended.

Leider war unser Besuch enttäuschend. Die Wartezeit auf das Essen war sehr lang, was den Gesamteindruck deutlich getrübt hat. Zudem wurde die von uns bestellte Vorspeise nicht – wie üblich – vorab serviert, sondern gemeinsam mit der Hauptspeise gebracht. Besonders unzufrieden war ich mit dem als "Neu" angepriesenen BBQ-Burger. Ich hatte mich auf eine rauchige BBQ-Soße gefreut, wie man es bei einem solchen Burger erwartet – leider war davon geschmacklich nichts zu bemerken. Insgesamt war das Gericht enttäuschend und hat die Erwartungen nicht erfüllt.

It was a disaster. I ordered a lasagna. When it arrived and I started eating it, it was still frozen in the middle. A disgrace for that price. When I spoke to him, the waiter even admitted that it was frozen food. There was no apology. The lasagna was heated in the microwave… I was very dissatisfied.

We were there yesterday with a larger group. We made a reservation shortly beforehand and got a nice seat. You quickly notice that the restaurant is a chain restaurant. The thawed frozen lasagna for €12 was still frozen inside and very small. The so-called pinsa was inexpensive (thanks to Pinsa Day), but a bit small and not particularly filling. The cocktails were mediocre, and the Aperol was tiny. The service was attentive, but seemed a bit overwhelmed. We dealt with three waiters in total, and the food didn't arrive at the same time. Sometimes we waited up to 20-30 minutes for our drinks.

After we got our food, I was horrified to discover that my burger was lukewarm and the fries were ice cold. After ordering more food, which we hadn't received despite repeated requests, we left feeling quite disappointed.

Prices have risen considerably. Unfortunately, when it's full, it's much too loud.

If I could give the food and service 0 points I would. I ate a schnitzel which was by far the worst schnitzel I have ever eaten. It tastes like the schnitzels from Eiskönig, although the ones from Eiskönig taste better... we won't be coming back.

The food was delicious and the service very friendly! We come here often, but yesterday we noticed that the portions had gotten smaller. As it is now, though, it's still okay. We'd love to come back :)

The Café del Sol is like the other one in Bremen. It's clean, and the staff is very friendly. I also found the food very good. The location is ideal for airplane fans, as you can watch the planes landing outside. There's also plenty of parking on site. The only thing that bothered me a little is that the outdoor terrace could be better maintained.

Penne Aglio ohne Geschmack - Flammkuchen als Pinsa Style verkauft, aber auch die Pinsa war bretthart und mit Messer und Gabel nicht zu bezwingen. Der Salat zum Schnitzel (das Schnitzel del Sol war gut) war alt und hatte viele braune Stelle und kaum Salatsauce. Habe der Bedienung unsere Enttäuschung erklärt und er hat sehr gut reagiert - hat uns angeboten die Pinsa aka Flammkuchen zu stornieren und statt dessen ein Schnitzel del Sol zu servieren. So weit so gut, bis die Betriebsleiterin erschien und uns (in einem schnippischen, arroganten Tonfall) bat unsere Auffassung nochmals zu schildern. Sie fiel dann schnell ins Wort und wollte diskutieren…. Habe da abgebrochen und um die Rechnung gebeten. Uns wurde dann noch Hausverbot erteilt (ohne das wir den Grund verstanden). Es bedarf allerdings keines Hausverbotes, denn wir werden das Café Del Sol nicht wieder besuchen. Hinzu kam das diese sogenannte Führungskraft mit Ihrem Verhalten ihren Mitarbeiter, der die Angelegenheit bereits gelöst hatte, demontiert hat. Ich hätte die Bewertungen vor dem Besuch lesen sollen, 2,5 sagt alles aus… Ich hoffe die Gastro & Soul GmbH, als Inhaber der Café Del Sol, plant kurzfristig eine Schulung in Menschenführung für die Betriebsleiterin.

The food was good. Staff overwhelmed... - No cutlery for eating - One of the four drinks was missing and took a long time to arrive - Dirty glass needed replacing...which also took forever. A shame

Hello...we were here for brunch today at 11 a.m. The breakfast was still good. All the hot dishes were almost gone and almost cold. The selection was so limited that it wasn't worth it. We had two vegetarians with us, and the hot dishes only offered dry rice, peas, and carrots.

Centrally located, easily accessible by tram and car, with ample parking. Large food selection. The chili burger was delicious, and side dishes were available, but limited. Friendly and attentive staff.

Fast-food chain, but delicious and fresh... We were served quickly and friendly... A bit loud (it's a bit noisy), but there are plenty of seating options and a pleasant atmosphere, even for longer sitting. Drink prices are sometimes quite high... You should take a look at the menu before ordering 😉

Wir haben mehrere bestellte Sachen erst nach teils mehrfacher Aufforderung bekommen und die Früchte im Eistee fehlten ( wurden auch nicht nachgeliefert)

The last time we had to wait more than half an hour while others who had just arrived were welcomed and served, some of them right next to us. "I'm coming soon" is said several times, but other than being ignored several times, nothing else happens. It was much better a year ago, but raising prices and using visibly fewer/"worse" staff is just plain cheeky. It used to be one of our favorite restaurants :/ but as you can see from other reviews, it's nothing new for 1-2 years👌🏽

The visit to the breakfast buffet was extremely positive. The range on offer proved to be varied and balanced, so that appropriate dishes were provided to suit different preferences. The staff were consistently attentive and helpful.

The Butter was way too cold! The displays were far too small and everything was pretty messed up. It would be better if everything was in one central point! Plus, a thermos of coffee would be much better than just a cup.

Great breakfast, I can only recommend it!

Make sure to ask for and check your receipt! They've charged an extra 20€ for drinks we didn't order... Not visiting this place again.

We were guests on a Wednesday. The place wasn't full, but we waited almost an hour for the drinks. We suspect severe personnel problems... Unfortunately the food was just average. Our burgers were cold. The only bright spot was dessert. I don't like going to Cafe del Sol anymore.

We were traveling and the café is conveniently located on the highway. The atmosphere is very nice and the staff is friendly and flexible. The food was good...

Addendum April 13, 2025 Today I had an invitation to the brunch buffet at 11 a.m. The scrambled eggs, when they were rare, were burnt. The food warmer with the mushroom pan was also empty most of the time. After 12 p.m. there was no more butter. Ordering drinks wasn't easy either because there was no service in sight. 2 years ago everything was great here. Unfortunately no longer recommended today. April 10, 2022 I had a delicious brunch here today. The service was also very attentive and nice.

When it's Schnitzel Week, it's very crowded. Otherwise you always get a seat, even on the terrace.

It is advertised (see photo) as much as you want... HOWEVER, after the first order you are hardly looked at anymore 😂 when we finally wanted to order the 2nd round... we were immediately told: "Not enough yet?" 😳😂 and: “but it will take time…”! It arrived at some point and then only half a portion! When it came to paying it was quick again 😂. He even said: “Now I can be fast again”. In my opinion, that's probably intentional! I found it a bit disappointing...

No. Went there for dinner with 4 people. Three got their food (burgers and fries... lukewarm). Despite asking if my order had been forgotten, my food arrived 20 minutes later. I was given iced tea as an excuse, but leaving the restaurant hungry wasn't really nice.

Worst service I have ever experienced. After over 30 minutes we were served for the first time and even after the food came we were no longer noticed. The guests repeatedly had to hold up their hands to be served. The restaurant was almost empty and people were chatting behind the counter. After we didn't want to give a tip, we were still looked at in surprise. The store no longer sees us, even if the food was delicious.

Unfortunately, I ate there again after probably 2 years. Burger 🍔 was cold again. Pity.... You should really work on it.

Four of us were there for brunch. From 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. There was a wide selection of hot and cold dishes, all fresh and very tasty. Our dachshund also liked it. He had enough space under the table. In general, the tables were arranged with plenty of space between each other. Very well, we do everything else too. We'd love to come back!

Recommendation! Various types of bread and pastries. Lots of choice of cold cuts. The cheese selection could have been a little more extensive. Otherwise great. Fast and very friendly service. It has to be said that it wasn't that crowded. Definitely good value for money.

Unfortunately, the disappointment was very great. We were there on 02/02/25. We were assigned a table very quickly and that was about it for the good service. It took a very long time for the drinks to arrive. The food was served 65 minutes after we entered the restaurant. When our drinks were gradually empty (there were 4 of us), no one came and asked if we wanted to drink anything else. When we spoke to the waiter, he took the drinks order...unfortunately he then whispered about us to a colleague...cheer! Since it was "schnitzel day" we placed the second order, unfortunately it never arrived because the order was lost on the way to the chef. When we then placed the order again, it finally arrived at some point. Unfortunately, it was a disappointment. The salad without dressing .. only the lettuce leaves... etc. etc. Oh yes, the toilet smelled extremely unpleasant! We definitely won't be coming back. Very, very unfortunate.

Not recommended. The service seems very lackluster, the food is carelessly prepared and you wait for over an hour. On the second round, our schnitzel came without anything, just lettuce leaves, no dressing or any other vegetables. Our burger arrived with half a patty because that was also in the schnitzel alloucaneat. The orders were not served properly. I cannot recommend this restaurant. There was hardly anything going on and we sat there on a Thursday evening WITH a reservation!

Food was nice. Forget the dressing on the salad Drinks brought incorrectly You know that feeling when you look forward to it for half the day and then you're really disappointed? A schnitzel in 90 minutes Afterwards the statement came that it would take even longer for the second one. We then canceled everything and still had to pay the full price. The store wasn't full, and the kitchen still couldn't keep up. What a shame.

There were already problems last time - back then we only got our drinks when we were almost up. It's a real shame because the food is actually very good. But when the service remains so inattentive and slow, you think twice about coming back. There is an urgent need for improvement here!

Amateurish service! You have the feeling that the waitresses are there for the test day. We asked for a delayed burger several times. One waitress said "come immediately". The other said she was asking, but didn't inform us. We then had to ask at the counter ourselves. Almost an hour for the simplest beef citizen.

I haven't eaten so badly in a long time. Waited 1 hour for the food. 30 minutes for drinks. Table wasn't even wiped after the last guest. Food was cold and dead fried. And it wasn't even full. No reaction from the waitress. Never again!
