Burgers and pinsa were very tasty, the staff was friendly and nice.

Ambience in the back part with a lower ceiling is okay, in the front part with the high ceiling the volume is uncomfortable. Service and food and drink were good.

Hello, we (3 people) visited the Del Sol in Huckelriede today. As you can see from the review, unfortunately there was only 1 star for the service. My wife ordered, among other things, schnitzel + free more. Well, everything was delicious, including my BBQ burger. But then my wife ordered a free schnitzel and when it was on the table I asked if I could try it? So there was a taste test. Then there was a loud noise from the background saying that this wasn't possible. We were confused(why)??? If a person orders more (for free), then that same person has to eat it alone! Aha, were we just reprimanded like a schoolmaster in a restaurant? My wife was rightly upset and wanted to give the schnitzel back, but we (she) ate her schnitzel alone. Unfortunately, Del Sol has seen us for the last time. Regarding the cleanliness of the tables, it should be noted that there were food residues stuck to them. It was also made clear to us that we had to clear the table by 5 p.m., then it would be reserved (?) And if not? It's unbelievable how guests are treated here!

Very chic restaurant. The food was very good. Price/performance was good. There are also half portions. Unfortunately, the noise level was far too loud. You should consider installing sound-absorbing things. Otherwise I was very satisfied.

Although the staff is friendly, what hasn't worked at all for years is the coordination. Since those responsible are apparently not on site (?), the service fluctuates between "chattering" ladies at the counter or total overwhelm. No matter how high the number of guests is, I wait between 20 and 40 minutes for an order/reorder/payment. However, only through your own initiative.

Once again for brunch. The disappointment of what is on offer there. for the price, not recommended. You can get a better breakfast at any well-run Becker branch for less than half the money. Brunch doesn't have to worry about what's on offer there these days. We won't be entering the house again for brunch.

I ordered the schnitzel with mushrooms. After about 55 minutes the food came, the fries were okay, the schnitzel was tough, way too crispy and tasted suspiciously like frozen food. After this experience, I wouldn't want to order food here again. Staff is at least friendly.

Nobody can get us into this store anymore! 3 weeks ago my brother was there and had hair in his food, then the food was replaced and there were large pieces of plastic in the food. Today we were there again and were very shocked to find live worms in our salad. There wasn't even an apology! Only one drink was taken off the bill. Apart from that, the service/waiters were very nice and were very hardworking! We really enjoyed being there and always felt comfortable, but what happens in the kitchen leaves something to be desired

Yesterday we (10 people) were at Café del Sol as part of a class reunion. We were looking forward to a carefree, happy evening. Since it took a while for everyone to arrive, we wanted to bridge the gap with drinks. Unfortunately it took a very long time before we were allowed to order. After another wait, we had our glasses in front of us. Things can only get better. None. At some point the food was ordered. Unfortunately, not everything was available and a decision had to be made quickly. Unfortunately, the food was mediocre at best, which you wouldn't have expected given the rather high prices. We also found it really bad that it was only partially or not cleared away at all and we had to push everything to the edge of the table. If we wanted to order more drinks, we had to let the counter know as we were hardly noticed (it wasn't overcrowded). It felt like it took forever for new bottles of beer to arrive at our table, which of course we had to pour ourselves. Not to mention the request to be allowed to pay. We finally did that at the counter. Today I carefully read the reviews from the last few years. Apparently the management only pretends to want to improve the many complaints, but doesn't. Very unfortunate. In any case, none of us will come back.

The ambience is really nice, but unfortunately the acoustics are not. It's not that easy to change... But: the service, which has already been frequently criticized, can be changed. The service is inattentive, something is delivered incorrectly or an order doesn't come at all and is then supposedly "not in the system". You sit for hours in front of your empty glass and the waitress doesn't come or isn't responsible. Absolutely not recommended unfortunately. Unfortunately, the class reunion was very frustrating. Incidentally, the pinsa was served very lukewarm.

We went there for dinner today and were more disappointed than we were on vacation. Service a bit unfocused. We've been there several times before, but today was the last minute. Children's card on request, pens not available. Children's portion of PomChick at 3! Nuggets. That's a bit cheeky for €6.40. The last time at least 5 nuggets made it to the plate. My husband had a tuft of hair in his schnitzel. This was immediately returned and remade, only the child still wanted nuggets. Finally, not even an apology

Schnitzel vacation. I haven't been there for a while, unfortunately it's better that way. Schnitzel for 19.90 euros and that for these dry frozen petties is more than cheeky. Because in the restaurant I pay 19.90 euros for a fresh, juicy pork schnitzel. The price/performance ratio of the food is not right here, it is far too expensive for better snack food. Services staff was friendly. Nevertheless, the acoustics were very restless and loud.

The waiters are very nice, but are at the table too rarely to take follow-up orders. In addition, you wait a really long time for your food - especially with schnitzel holiday promotions, you expect a better prepared process. The food is really delicious, we'll be happy to come back.

Everything is too loud like a train station hall. Overwhelmed staff. The schnitzel holiday dish (supposedly you can eat as much as you want) was just a schnitzel because there was no more service. Then you didn't feel like it anymore. Once and never again.

The food was ok, if you don't have high expectations. The BBQ ribs seemed unseasoned, the fries were ok. What this store lacks significantly, however, is adequate service. The very first order, i.e. the drinks, was misunderstood and had to be corrected. We didn't get a hello and the service overall was rather unfriendly and distant. After eating we waited forever for someone to see us and pay. After someone finally came after we asked and took the initiative, we were charged for things that we had ordered but never received. When this was pointed out, people reacted with ignorance and another waitress came who didn't know how to handle it either. Overall, unfortunately, absolutely not recommended, for over €70 I get much better food in many places and, above all, more appropriate service.

All in all good so far but you would like to know beforehand whether the food is spicy or not as there was nothing about it on the menu...

The Cafe Del Sol in Neustadt has outlasted the trends of recent years. I've been coming here for 20 years now, off and on. The ambience hasn't changed since then, at least not much. A few red leather sofas were set up and a pizza corner was set up. The store was never really cheap, but now the prices have really increased again. There aren't really any culinary highlights here, but the range of dishes on offer is rock-solid. There is just a lot of ready-made food, as is not uncommon in system catering. But freshly warmed up or fried.

We have had breakfast here several times with a group. Always beautiful. Rich buffet where everyone can find something.

A nice branch of the Café del Sol chain. During the day, depending on the wind direction, exactly in the approach/departure path of Bremen Airport can be very entertaining if you are interested. Service was very friendly when I visited.

We wanted to go for breakfast and were forced to book the buffet because you can only book individual dishes from 1 p.m. The €20 buffet didn't include any drinks and there was hardly any choice of vegetarian, let alone vegan, food. Since you serve yourself, the service was unimportant. The positive thing was that we had no problem taking our two dogs with us.

Very nice atmosphere, good food and drink as well as free parking, a bit expensive in places but you can enjoy a nice atmosphere. Update 2024 after 6 years: Correction from 4 to 2 stars due to poor quality. Unfortunately, the quality has deteriorated in recent years, while prices have of course continued to rise. Some seats are relatively close to the door and aisle, which can be very annoying on busy evenings. When I recently had a dish with "standard" fries, I had the feeling that I had gotten some from the frozen discount store. Lots of burnt corners, comparatively thin with little taste of its own, very little sauce and hardly any “spices”. The entire portion is "okay" big, but in view of the prices that are sometimes charged here for the simplest food, it is definitely a downgrade from before. Conclusion: you can still go there but it's not really good anymore

Good food, big portion! Nice service, when I got the wrong order on the table, it didn't take many minutes before the correct dish came to me. Quite high noise level and many people smoking on the veranda, which spoils the atmosphere.

It's really nice to sit there. Everyone is nice and friendly. Especially on the terrace.

We always feel very comfortable in the Café del Sol in the Neustadt, we always get our wheelchair-accessible regular seat, the kitchen is simply great for special requests and the service is always very attentive.....

We were here for breakfast. Unfortunately, today you have to offer a lot to keep up with the competition. When it comes to choosing what to offer, the Café del sol can definitely keep up, but unfortunately fails due to the execution. Because it is probably precisely because the offer is so extensive that the individual items are quickly sold out and it takes forever until supplies can be delivered. There were individual offers that we unfortunately didn't manage to get filled in an hour of breakfast. The prices are too high for that, unfortunately. We can only give three stars for this. Otherwise there isn't much to complain about here. There is enough space inside and outside. The staff at the service were very attentive and really friendly.

NEVER AGAIN! When we (4) arrived, we were assigned a dirty table. The glasses of the guests in front of us were not cleared and the table was stuck. Dinner didn't come. After 35 minutes of waiting for a waitress to at least take the drinks, let alone prepare the table for us, we left in a huff.

No attention and poor organization. Unfortunately, this location cannot be recommended. A leisurely visit with 4 people was planned, which ended quickly. The reason for this was that after arriving and choosing your table, the service staff present there neither noticed nor noticed you for over 35 minutes. It was clear that there was a shortage of staff in this location. Staff are not deployed and distributed as required to ensure comprehensive service. Surrounding tables were not cleared and leftover food was clearly visible on the tables for a long time. After requesting service, you received no response and were ignored. We really enjoy going to the cafe. However, no one has responded to calls about reservations for a few days. Very unfortunate. We are forced to stop going. Today we ate country bread with avocado. Were there for the first time. 1 of the 4 meals came earlier than the other 3 meals... Statement: the rest comes "immediately" - that was 10 minutes. The first meal that came was also lukewarm instead of hot. When the remaining 3 meals came, one of them was burnt - we had it returned. Then management came and said, yes, it might have been in there a little too long, but it certainly wasn't burned. It took another 25 (!!) minutes for the returned food to arrive again. Nice atmosphere, service staff were nice enough, but the food wasn't good at all.

We were there for “lunch”. If you like burgers and the like, this is the right place for you. Everything worked out for us. The ambience is cozy, but the acoustics are a challenge - sufficient for quiet table conversations with your immediate neighbors. The food was hot and came in a timely manner. (Waiting time approx. 30 minutes) There is little on offer for meatless people, apart from salad and pizza/pinsa. The veranda is very attractive. It's a real shame, the restaurant has become extremely poor. Waiters prefer to chat with friends and acquaintances instead of providing service. The breakfast buffet on Sunday is not worth the money at all. The food is neither appetizing nor is it replenished quickly. The selection is extremely limited. If you wanted to get something else, the plates and cutlery were empty. And NO it wasn't full. Very manageable. I don't even want to start with the glasses for soft drinks - if you're sensitive to herpes, you'd better stay away from them. Some of the furniture is extremely worn, weathered and dirty.

Service extremely slow, we waited over 90 minutes for drinks, half of which was wrong. Food arrived partially cold after two hours. And there wasn't even anything full there. This was the third time this summer. So far it's been really ok, but something isn't going particularly well anymore. A pity

Worst salad I've eaten in my life. “Ceasar salad” was served with neither cheese nor chicken, just 5 croutons, a touch of sauce and salad.

Breakfast rich, price completely okay, tasty, number of butter should be increased (two small packets for two rolls and one croissant too few), nice service. The only drawback is that the toilets are shabby - they should be renovated. Otherwise, absolutely recommended for breakfast - gladly again.

The food and drink was served quite quickly and was good for the price. I had Pinsa Chicken Caeser, which in my opinion could have had a little more chicken on it. Staff attentive and very nice. Definitely not the last visit.

Food is always a matter of taste, for me it's a good thing for the price. The service is nice, friendly when you see it and also quick when the shop is full but it's still quick. The big disadvantage is that when you sit in the restaurant, it is very loud

Very nice and large indoor and outdoor area to sit comfortably and enjoy food and drinks. A very wide selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, served in style by friendly staff. I particularly like burgers and pinsa, very tasteful and delicious.

On Friday June 14th/24th Waited 30 minutes while 3 waiters walked past me and served other guests and even asked if everything was OK. The terrace was half full and nothing happening. I don't understand anything like that. Since I didn't have any service, I of course left again.

Arrived here and thought we would treat ourselves to a nice cocktail and a delicious snack. Unfortunately, we cannot rate the food and drinks because after 3 waiters who were working on the terrace, we neither paid attention nor greeted us the entire time. Instead, tables were cleared and guests who had already been served were asked if they would like to order anything else. I should also mention that the patio was EMPTY. There were ONLY 5 tables occupied outside. We won't come back. What a shame! I've really never experienced such inattentive service.

For a later lunchtime snack I had the fries with fallafel and hummus. It's relatively loud there. It echoes through the high ceiling and the music was pretty loud. The service was good and quick. Perfect for a small lunch. I don't really know whether I would spend an evening there.

Catastrophe. Hummus Falafel fries come to the table without hummus. Falafel seem to be from the freezer and not freshly made. The pomegranate was 100% previously frozen. If I want to eat frozen products, I can stay at home. In the end, the service didn't even want to give change and thus cheated out of a tip. How can neither the kitchen nor the service notice that there is no hummus on the HUMMUS falafel fries? The lemon mayonnaise described on the menu was not available either. It's just a chain, so in my opinion you can never expect much from something like that. However, in my experience, this branch in Bremen Neustadt is underground. I can't recommend it at all. If you really want to go to a Cafe Del Sol in Bremen, you should go to the one at Weserpark.

We were invited to the breakfast buffet. The breakfast was very tasty and plentiful. The service was also very nice. For the ambience there are only 4 stars, as the acoustics were a bit loud and disturbed the conversation. But we'd still like to come back again

Essen hat überhaupt nicht geschmeckt. Es gab Rippchen, Sie schmecken aufgetaut und nicht frisch weil man nicht alles geschafft hat, hat man es mit nach Hause genommen und es wurde alles in ein Pott reingeschmissen und war nur eine gatsche So dass man es in Milch schmeißen musste

June 8th, 2024 at around 6 p.m Very nice restaurant with overpriced prices. We each had two small ones. Schnitzel with 5 pieces. Champions, fries 🍟 and a mixed salad from the bag garnished with a Cheritomate. And that for just under 40 euros. There was also an Alster and an apple spritzer for 15 euros. 55 euros for everything was not reasonable. Complaints in a nice way were lost on the staff and simply ignored. WE DEFINITELY WON'T COME BACK.

Unfortunately you notice that the concept is no longer up to date when it comes to the food and the ambience, the service was friendly and nice.

If you know one Café Del Sol, you know them all. Nevertheless, I like going there. I've never been disappointed, even though some of them were very crowded. The staff was always nice, despite the busy times.

The food itself is very tasty and we have never been disappointed… The “Olympic Fire” appetizer lives up to its name and has a very nice spicy note. The main course is usually Schitzel Del Sol, which is also a rather spicier dish. Those who like spicy food will get their money's worth with this schnitzel creation. There are three stars due to the unreliable ordering. We have been here many times and it is not uncommon for the order to be “forgotten” and you wait 1.5-2 hours for your food. If this were an isolated case, this recession would not happen, but since this situation has already happened several times, I am writing this down now.

Visit on October 3rd, 2022 - There were no sweet potatoes, no chili, no paprika schnitzel, no panna cotta, no creme brulee... And a lot more that I've already forgotten. It was an absolute catastrophe and I felt really sorry for the employees because they were obviously totally understaffed and had to deal with everything.

The location is really beautiful and totally cozy. You can also sit very well on the terrace! The food and drinks were also very tasty, but the price was a bit too high because the portions were small. Unfortunately the service was a disaster. We were served by 5 different conditions in total, no coordination among the employees. Our drinks were forgotten several times, the milk for the coffee was brought after it was already cold and according to our bill we had to have it 4 times! ask and wait a long time to be able to pay. And all of this even though only a maximum of half of the tables were occupied. If the food and the location are good, unfortunately it's not enough to come back again. The most important feature that makes guests feel comfortable and come back is the staff.

I had a great experience at Café de Sol, a second time! The fries were crispy and warm, absolutely delicious. The staff was super nice and attentive. The environment is very pleasant and invites you to linger. Plus, the food came quickly. Really recommended!

We got a nice sunny spot on the terrace, nice and attentive service. The pinsa was a bit topped and the dough was generally a bit dry.

It's sad what you can do with such a beautiful atmosphere. I've eaten a Cesar salad several times before, but it's sad what happened to it. However, it now only consists of around 3.5 lettuce leaves, a bit of dressing, bread and croutons. With some chicken you pay €16.5. There wasn't even the promised cheese on top and after complaining to the staff there wasn't even a discount or any other attention. At other restaurants you get this size as a side salad. Staff was also unfriendly. It's a shame how such a beautiful restaurant can be messed up like that.

Unfortunately, the portions are now much too small in relation to the price. There's no question that everything has become more expensive, but there's no reason to give out such small portions. The taste was also rather average, my Pinsa “Flammkuchen Style” had too little topping and a 3cm border all around 🙃🥴

I think the food turned out very bad. The food is loveless and the eye definitely doesn't eat with it.

We paid potatoes with prawns for a surcharge of €6. After waiting for three quarters of an hour, we had lukewarm potatoes with exactly 3 shrimps. Bottom level, never again.

The schnitzels are very tasty as always 😋 but much smaller than usual 😫 but much more expensive.

Breakfast buffet on Sunday for 2 people with a glass of orange juice €52.30 was not at all reasonable. The bread from the freezer and buffet is usually the cheapest there is. Definitely NOT recommended.

Unfortunately not good service! We were eating there for a schnitzel holiday and had to wait 70 minutes for our food... When we wanted to order more we had to wait another 30 minutes, which was too long for us... the feeling of fullness arrives at some point The meal was okay. I drank some iced tea... It was simply arranged carelessly, the mint as a decoration was old and no longer looked nice and fresh. Unfortunately, the iced tea was generally not homemade!

We were there on Saturday with 8 people. We had to wait a good 1 1/2 hours for the food. It's been a long time since I was there but that's not how I remember it. But the ambience is still very nice.

We had reserved a table for breakfast. We got a table in the dark corner right next to the door. When we asked if we could get another table, we were rather reluctant and then told that everything was reserved. But if something became available we could move it and we would then be informed. Nothing like that happened. There were other tables free the whole time... and the service was really bad. Once a waitress was there to take our drinks. For the next 2 hours we were skilfully overlooked. Unfortunately that was the last time I was a guest here.

The quality of the food is getting worse. They don't even get fries fried, they're completely raw. “Service” is virtually non-existent. The only positive thing is the terrace outside.

You can't go wrong with fries here... The pizzas - they're now also available in half portions - also taste good, but unfortunately they're never really hot. Large groups = chaos. There are certainly alternatives in Bremen...

It used to be better. I think in the future, inexpensive competitor chains will also do their utmost for me, at least without frustration. Ambiance was good, although the sanitary facilities left a lot to be desired in terms of cleanliness. Service okay, but you should plan a lot of time. Price/performance ratio is amazing. 10€ for four spoonfuls of chili con carne with a piece of bread is hard, the burger is dry and tasteless.

Our reservation was forgotten, it was loud in the restaurant, my drink glass was dirty and the waitress... unfortunately couldn't do anything about it. The service wasn't good either, untrained staff. The food, chili cheese burger and fries, was very expensive. Burger was small, mayonnaise was tiny. Drink with burger and fries: €23 Oh well, it didn't taste good either. Loveless mainstream cuisine

We were there last Wednesday during a short stay in Bremen and wanted to eat something around 5 p.m. The restaurant itself is very nice. There was actually not much going on, maybe 25-30 guests... Service was okay, when ordered and relatively expensive iced tea came lukewarm, which is not possible! But if I have to wait just over an hour for a pinsa and a schnitzel when the occupancy is so low, I can't recommend it... It's a shame, but unfortunately it wasn't a good impression for us.
