3 stars for the food, as the drinks were good. Unfortunately, it took a long time for us to be served, and one meal was completely forgotten (it arrived after asking twice).

It was a disaster. I ordered a lasagna. When it arrived and I started eating it, it was still frozen in the middle. A disgrace for that price. When I spoke to him, the waiter even admitted that it was frozen food. There was no apology. The lasagna was heated in the microwave… I was very dissatisfied.

We were there yesterday with a larger group. We made a reservation shortly beforehand and got a nice seat. You quickly notice that the restaurant is a chain restaurant. The thawed frozen lasagna for €12 was still frozen inside and very small. The so-called pinsa was inexpensive (thanks to Pinsa Day), but a bit small and not particularly filling. The cocktails were mediocre, and the Aperol was tiny. The service was attentive, but seemed a bit overwhelmed. We dealt with three waiters in total, and the food didn't arrive at the same time. Sometimes we waited up to 20-30 minutes for our drinks.

After we got our food, I was horrified to discover that my burger was lukewarm and the fries were ice cold. After ordering more food, which we hadn't received despite repeated requests, we left feeling quite disappointed.

Prices have risen considerably. Unfortunately, when it's full, it's much too loud.

If I could give the food and service 0 points I would. I ate a schnitzel which was by far the worst schnitzel I have ever eaten. It tastes like the schnitzels from Eiskönig, although the ones from Eiskönig taste better... we won't be coming back.

The food was delicious and the service very friendly! We come here often, but yesterday we noticed that the portions had gotten smaller. As it is now, though, it's still okay. We'd love to come back :)

The Café del Sol is like the other one in Bremen. It's clean, and the staff is very friendly. I also found the food very good. The location is ideal for airplane fans, as you can watch the planes landing outside. There's also plenty of parking on site. The only thing that bothered me a little is that the outdoor terrace could be better maintained.

The food was good. Staff overwhelmed... - No cutlery for eating - One of the four drinks was missing and took a long time to arrive - Dirty glass needed replacing...which also took forever. A shame

Hello...we were here for brunch today at 11 a.m. The breakfast was still good. All the hot dishes were almost gone and almost cold. The selection was so limited that it wasn't worth it. We had two vegetarians with us, and the hot dishes only offered dry rice, peas, and carrots.

Centrally located, easily accessible by tram and car, with ample parking. Large food selection. The chili burger was delicious, and side dishes were available, but limited. Friendly and attentive staff.

Fast-food chain, but delicious and fresh... We were served quickly and friendly... A bit loud (it's a bit noisy), but there are plenty of seating options and a pleasant atmosphere, even for longer sitting. Drink prices are sometimes quite high... You should take a look at the menu before ordering 😉

Breakfast, something for everyone, very tasty 😋

The visit to the breakfast buffet was extremely positive. The range on offer proved to be varied and balanced, so that appropriate dishes were provided to suit different preferences. The staff were consistently attentive and helpful.

The last time we had to wait more than half an hour while others who had just arrived were welcomed and served, some of them right next to us. "I'm coming soon" is said several times, but other than being ignored several times, nothing else happens. It was much better a year ago, but raising prices and using visibly fewer/"worse" staff is just plain cheeky. It used to be one of our favorite restaurants :/ but as you can see from other reviews, it's nothing new for 1-2 years👌🏽

The Butter was way too cold! The displays were far too small and everything was pretty messed up. It would be better if everything was in one central point! Plus, a thermos of coffee would be much better than just a cup.

Make sure to ask for and check your receipt! They've charged an extra 20€ for drinks we didn't order... Not visiting this place again.

We were guests on a Wednesday. The place wasn't full, but we waited almost an hour for the drinks. We suspect severe personnel problems... Unfortunately the food was just average. Our burgers were cold. The only bright spot was dessert. I don't like going to Cafe del Sol anymore.

We were traveling and the café is conveniently located on the highway. The atmosphere is very nice and the staff is friendly and flexible. The food was good...

Addendum April 13, 2025 Today I had an invitation to the brunch buffet at 11 a.m. The scrambled eggs, when they were rare, were burnt. The food warmer with the mushroom pan was also empty most of the time. After 12 p.m. there was no more butter. Ordering drinks wasn't easy either because there was no service in sight. 2 years ago everything was great here. Unfortunately no longer recommended today. April 10, 2022 I had a delicious brunch here today. The service was also very attentive and nice.

When it's Schnitzel Week, it's very crowded. Otherwise you always get a seat, even on the terrace.

HOWEVER, after the first order you are hardly looked at anymore 😂 when we finally wanted to order the 2nd round... we were immediately told: "Not enough yet?" 😳😂 and: “but it will take time…”! No. Went there for dinner with 4 people. Three got their food (burgers and fries... lukewarm). Despite asking if my order had been forgotten, my food arrived 20 minutes later. I was given iced tea as an excuse, but leaving the restaurant hungry wasn't really nice.

Worst service I have ever experienced. After over 30 minutes we were served for the first time and even after the food came we were no longer noticed. The guests repeatedly had to hold up their hands to be served. The restaurant was almost empty and people were chatting behind the counter. After we didn't want to give a tip, we were still looked at in surprise. The store no longer sees us, even if the food was delicious.

Unfortunately, I ate there again after probably 2 years. Burger 🍔 was cold again. Pity.... You should really work on it.

Four of us were there for brunch. From 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. There was a wide selection of hot and cold dishes, all fresh and very tasty. Our dachshund also liked it. He had enough space under the table. In general, the tables were arranged with plenty of space between each other. Very well, we do everything else too. We'd love to come back!

Unfortunately, the disappointment was very great. We were there on 02/02/25. We were assigned a table very quickly and that was about it for the good service. It took a very long time for the drinks to arrive. The food was served 65 minutes after we entered the restaurant. When our drinks were gradually empty (there were 4 of us), no one came and asked if we wanted to drink anything else. When we spoke to the waiter, he took the drinks order...unfortunately he then whispered about us to a colleague...cheer! Since it was "schnitzel day" we placed the second order, unfortunately it never arrived because the order was lost on the way to the chef. When we then placed the order again, it finally arrived at some point. Unfortunately, it was a disappointment. The salad without dressing .. only the lettuce leaves... etc. etc. Oh yes, the toilet smelled extremely unpleasant! We definitely won't be coming back. Very, very unfortunate.

Recommendation! Various types of bread and pastries. Lots of choice of cold cuts. The cheese selection could have been a little more extensive. Otherwise great. Fast and very friendly service. It has to be said that it wasn't that crowded. Definitely good value for money.

Not recommended. The service seems very lackluster, the food is carelessly prepared and you wait for over an hour. On the second round, our schnitzel came without anything, just lettuce leaves, no dressing or any other vegetables. Our burger arrived with half a patty because that was also in the schnitzel alloucaneat. The orders were not served properly. I cannot recommend this restaurant. There was hardly anything going on and we sat there on a Thursday evening WITH a reservation!

There were already problems last time - back then we only got our drinks when we were almost up. It's a real shame because the food is actually very good. Amateurish service! You have the feeling that the waitresses are there for the test day. We asked for a delayed burger several times. One waitress said "come immediately". The other said she was asking, but didn't inform us. We then had to ask at the counter ourselves. Almost an hour for the simplest beef citizen.

I haven't eaten so badly in a long time. Waited 1 hour for the food. 30 minutes for drinks. Table wasn't even wiped after the last guest. Food was cold and dead fried. And it wasn't even full. No reaction from the waitress. Never again!

Brunch is reviewed on Sunday. The breakfast portion is quite good. The warm dishes were soggy (potato pancakes) or tasted like warmed-up ready meals. The bad rating for the service is based on the fact that when you asked about gluten-free rolls or bread, you only got the answer that you should bring it yourself.

There were problems even when serving the drinks - they were brought incorrectly and it took a while until the right ones finally arrived. The actual food came at completely different intervals: While one half of our group was already finished, the other half had to wait another 20 minutes for their food. Another annoyance was the sauce with the fries. Despite asking three times, it was brought far too late, when the food was almost eaten. Overall a chaotic and disorganized service which unfortunately spoiled the evening. We definitely won't eat here again.

Waited almost an hour for food. Served the wrong drink. One meal served 30 minutes later than the other meal. Ordered a lasagne and a super small, not filling bowl of lasagna, a frozen lasagna was more filling for half the price. At the beginning I ordered cheese sauce once with fries and then twice more until the third waiter got it

The service is very pleasant and professional. The atmosphere is good too but the food leaves a lot to be desired... Flat food, tasteless, practically Fast-Food. For a cocktail with friends fine, to go to lunch or dinner better not.

Gebucht haben wir den schnitzelurlaub, bekommen haben wir viel viel Wartezeit. Wir waren mit unserer 4 jahre alten Tochter da und mussten je gang mindestens 25 Minuten warten, wir haben uns 3 mal schnitzel nachbestellt und waren insgesamt 2 Stunden da. Mit einer kleinen Tochter ist das einfach zu viel Wartezeit. Aber das war bis jetzt leider immer so. Die schnitzel wurden auch bei jeder neuen Runde kleiner. Man muss 3igentlich beim essen schoneinmal die nächste runde bestellen damit man keine lange Wartezeit hat, das restaurant war zudem aber auch nicht großartig gefüllt. Wir kommen denke ich mal nicht wieder.

I can't describe it, the burger was just extremely bad, there wasn't even any lettuce on it, and the patty didn't taste good and it was way too cooked and had a rubbery consistency. I used to enjoy coming here often. But I haven't had such a good experience recently. Two years ago, after 1.5 hours we still had no food and a year ago after 40 minutes we still had no drinks. Gestures I gave Café del Sol another chance. We were 8 people and had booked a table for 5:30 p.m. Only after asking twice did a service person arrive after 30 minutes and we could order drinks and food. Unfortunately, when we ordered, we were only told after making our selection that they couldn't make bowls because they had run out of wok vegetables and Pinsa wasn't possible. So I changed my mind... Saturday evening at 6 p.m. such basic ingredients are missing, incomprehensible and very bad management. The food arrived at 6:37 p.m. Unfortunately the wrong thing happened once, the burgers were really terrible and cold, as were the fries. The new Pasta Napoli, which was delivered 10 minutes later, was incredibly bland and tasteless. It's better at home in 10 minutes with ready-made sauce. There was no longer any parmesan cheese, that was also out. Unbelievable and very disappointing. Only my schnitzel da Sol was the only thing that was okay. Unfortunately, the Sol Café is really no longer recommended. We'll never go there again! Too bad!

Never again at this location!!! The shift manager is so cheeky and arrogant! Yesterday the three of us were at Café del Sol, we had our two small dogs (Pomeranian) with us, who behaved really well (because they can). We were there for a total of two hours and during that time our dogs barked briefly twice. As with small babies, you can't plan everything in advance. Then the shift manager (5 p.m. to 7 p.m.) came to us and threatened us directly that if the dogs made another sound we would have to leave the restaurant immediately, because guests had apparently complained (he didn't really speak proper German either). We apologized for barking, but also tried to explain, he wasn't interested in that. In a normal, friendly manner, we would have accepted his statement politely, but I won't let something like that sit with me. There were very few seats occupied at the time and if anyone had complained, we would have seen it straight away. Conclusion: he is lying!! We also asked him if a child screams and cries if he would throw them out too, and he answered “YES!” impossible!!! After he left, he always looked over at us “annoyed”, even though our dogs and we behaved calmly. The atmosphere was simply cruel! I almost felt sorry for the waitress at our table, having to work under such a management. After this cheeky manner, we paid straight away and left. Nobody will definitely see us in this store anymore! This has never happened to me before, but I visit the Del Sol in Osterholz regularly and my dog ​​is even offered drinking water. The guy needs to be taught how to deal with guests! Ps: Unfortunately I can't respond to the answer again for the reason here: Neither dog jumped around?? Both are also on a leash, what danger were guests exposed to with two dogs weighing 2.5kg? They lay under the table and were quiet. We had brunch at Cafe del sol on Sunday, we decided to do so because we always like coming to del sol. Just to eat schnitzel. Unfortunately, it was a complete birthday disappointment. We decided on brunch because we thought there would be small del sol delicacies (small schnitzels, del sol sauce, small pizzas or or) please note the price per person. 22€ without drinks. - Everything was cold, scrambled eggs, meatballs, bacon, Kaiserschmarrn, etc. The little sausages were already shriveling. - No plates - The service didn't even do a round to refill, everything was empty. No salmon, no Nutella, no rolls, no scrambled eggs, no bacon. When asked, something came along. - The service hardly cleared the tables in between. (Here it was definitely due to the communication; if there had been a lack of staff and it had been communicated openly, it wouldn't have been a problem at all) - Then sliced ​​meat with rice?! I don't understand what this has to do with typical Cafè del sol dishes...also cold and no longer attractive. - The containers were so high that we women could hardly see or reach them All in all...we were super disappointed unfortunately. If you were to rate it nicely it would be a school grade of 4- We will continue to eat schnitzel. But Sunday's wasn't a brilliant performance at all.

We visited on Friday evening and it was quite full. We ordered very soon after we sat down. The service was outstanding but the kitchen was too busy to keep up with the full restaurant. Food was really great and we had a good time. Next time we will make a reservation though. We will be back

Unfortunately, the price-performance ratio has decreased significantly, especially in the last 12 months. The quality of the food is worse and the prices are significantly higher than in other restaurants. I can't give this more than two stars.

Unfortunately disappointing: the schnitzel was almost inedible for just under €20 - tough, burnt in places and tasted warmed up. I had to leave about 75% of the schnitzel and was able to show the waiter the burnt areas. Went to Del Sol for brunch. Rich offer. Unfortunately, there are no yogurts or other dairy products for people who are lactosin tolerant. That's really a shame. Otherwise I would have given 5 stars.

It used to be a great spot. I've been here every year when I've visited family in Bremen, but it's no longer worth the visit. Food is just OK, and you can't fault the service. Tables have leftover food on them and service is super slow. I can understand it if it's full, but if you crawl slowly through the area, nothing can work. Was here last time.

I lived nearby for a while and often went to Café De Soll Bremen - a place I used to really enjoy. Unfortunately, my impression has deteriorated significantly recently and especially during my last visit. As soon as I parked, I noticed that the kitchen staff was smoking right next to the garbage cans. That would have been okay if they had washed and disinfected their hands thoroughly afterwards. I ordered a burger and it was the worst I've ever eaten. The burger was badly burned and simply inedible - as the photos clearly show. I complained directly to the staff, but instead of redress, all I received was a curt “Sorry.” Despite the quality, I was charged full price. I left the café disappointed and with the feeling that customer service was no longer a priority here. A place that I used to recommend is now, unfortunately, an absolute no-go for me. Very disappointing!

Reserved on December 16, 2024 for 20 people. Were there at 5 p.m. (the store was empty) and some had to wait 45 minutes to order DRINKS. After another 30 minutes we were finally able to order the food. The schnitzel plates looked dismal and it was only lukewarm. Pinsa was burned at a colleague's house. After eating you weren't asked if you wanted dessert or anything else. Some people would have liked to have dessert, but after over half an hour of ignoring it, we didn't want any more. When the first people had paid, the waitress went away to other tables to take orders, etc. He didn't come back after more than half an hour, we then went to the counter to pay and were not exactly looked at happily. It's a shame what has become of Café del Sol. Prices are too expensive for the snack quality of the food, be it the look or the taste justify the prices

Anlässlich des Geburtstages meines Mannes mittags das Restaurant besucht. Bestellt wurden Schnitzel mit Champignonsauce, Pommes und Currywurst/Pommes. Die Qualität war unterirdisch und der Preis dafür frech: Das ‚Schnitzel‘ war Presspappe aus der Tiefkühle und in der Fritte zu Tode gegart, Pommes lauwarm, Sauce ungenießbar, Preis 19,90 €. Leute, Ihr macht Werbung mit ‚Schnitzelurlaub‘! Für die Currywurst hatte man kreativ Gewürzketchup als Sauce verwendet, Wurst und Pommes lauwarm. Beide Gerichte zzgl. 1 Cola und kl. Alster über 38,00 €. Bedienung war zwar freundlich, aber ‚Rundumblick‘ fehlte. Benutztes Geschirr auf den leeren Tischen…. Leider keine Weiterempfehlung. Du schönes Café del Sol, was ist aus Dir geworden 🙁
