Cafe Central in Coesfeld

Very nice, also for having breakfast with children. The buffet was sufficient and varied, there is something for everyone The price-performance ratio was great. The 40-minute journey was really worth it. As in any city center, the parking situation is a bit difficult and of course there is a charge, but it is not overpriced. I would like to come back again...

Very good with children, as there is a large corner with a ball pit and various toys for different age groups. Service and food really good. Price-performance ratio really fits. Sometimes a bit noisy when it's very full, as there are few niches and a large area. But for decades we have always spent lovely hours in the cafe. Clear recommendation, especially for families.

Were there at lunchtime, 2 different pizzas and red wine. We have rarely eaten such a delicious pizza, visually very appealing, fresh vegetables, well topped; Price reasonable to cheap.

I always find the food at Café Central very tasty. However, the prices are really high. The service is great. Everyone is friendly and the play area for the children is just great. We usually go here for something to eat when we are in Coesfeld, as it is convenient with my little nephew and there is no boredom there.

It's been a long time since I've been to Café Central Coesfeld, and I always enjoy it! And we have always been satisfied so far. For a good 20 years! Unfortunately I have to say that the food (schnitzel) was pretty indigestible, hunger drove it in. Lovely on the plate, fries rather leftovers and hard. Simply cracked the egg on top and broke it or over-fried it. Meat and fries were dry and had a rather bland taste. Not even a hint of salad. Service was nice and friendly but rather helpless. 43€ in the end... that doesn't work. Too bad. Hope it works better next time 😉

The breakfast buffet during the week was more extensive than expected. My whole family (5 people) was super happy with the selection. The service was very friendly and took great care of us. We felt very comfortable. When we come back to Coesfeld, we will visit Café Central again.

For me, Café Central has been the best that Coesfeld has to offer since I was there for the first time in 1995. Visited regularly - whether for drinking or eating, always good.

Without Cafe Central, Coesfeld would only be half as nice. Also has SKY.

Since my school days, Café Central has been a good place for a quick drink or a long meal. We had the small breakfast buffet, which is unbeatable at €9.50.

Nice café in the center of Coesfeld 😉. Here you can plan a detour between shopping 😉👍. The atmosphere is very cozy. The service is very friendly and nice 👍. Since I didn't eat here, I can't rate the food 🤷‍♂️. It's worth a visit 👍😉

Food and location is not good. Nevertheless, this is my favorite café because of the charming, short, brunette waitress who makes my ordering process the highlight of the day. If she isn't at work, I leave the café as quickly as possible. I can therefore only recommend the store.

The breakfast is small but damn tasty, the rolls are really crispy and the cold cuts are super fresh. If something is missing and you ask, it will be taken care of immediately. The Nutella dispenser is great. Very satisfied, we will be back 😊👍🏻

We went in and asked if we could sit outside and if they could turn on the heater for us. We received a very warm welcome and were told to sit down outside. Immediately afterwards the waitress came with the menus and the remote control for the heaters. The food (vegetarian gnocchi and pizza) was brought to the table super quickly. It really tasted very good and met, if not exceeded, all expectations. We will be happy to come back :)

Phew, unfortunately not as good as hoped. Went there for the first time today. Unfortunately there were small flies in our cocktails. We ordered vegetarian finger food and still had meat with us.

We have been to the central cafe several times and have been well looked after, we have consumed more than €70 and today we were literally turned away because there were reservations that hypothetically didn't exist to make room for other people who didn't have reservations, It's sad that there are unqualified employees. If they wait tables and don't care about the customers, I don't recommend it at all... There is a kitchen, congratulations. The rest is unfortunate

Café Central is great, especially for families! There is a great play area for children including a ball pit. If you go down to the toilets, there is a changing table next to the women's toilet with utensils included in case you forget something! So super family friendly.

As an allergy sufferer, you're lost if the chef doesn't tell you the truth. I was there this morning and specifically asked if there was egg in the dish, no, definitely not. I was really happy until I ended up in bed with colic-like pain because there was egg in my food. Why do you actually point this out and ask questions in the kitchen? This is a fact of bodily harm. Absolutely a no-go

Big plus: the shop is open. Not like at home. There's no pub there anymore. Mom says: "People could be a little quieter" - but she doesn't mind. Nice round plates. Cool! Glass glasses - nice too, but they don't clink when you clink glasses! There's nothing offensive about it - except for a few percent more by volume (alcohol!). There's a lot going on here - even though it's a small town! One light bulb is broken, otherwise everyone goes. A funny bird is the mascot! We like him! Bottom up!

We were here to take a little break. The drinks came quickly and the service was on point. The menu had a lot to offer. I was really excited and will definitely come back.

Great place with a relaxed atmosphere. Staff and bosses are always friendly. Great for grabbing a quick bite to eat. Very child friendly. Moderate prices. Only the acoustics are very tiring in the long run. We definitely need to work on it. And the toilets are a bit cramped in places. Otherwise everything is tip top. We recommend. We love being here

Food tasted okay, but they gave us weird recyclable Mayonnaise Containers which tasted very weird. The drinks also tasted like Water.

We come almost every second Wednesday and we really like Café Central. It is nicely furnished so you feel comfortable. The food tastes okay and the prices are okay too.

The three of us ate at Café Central today. There was the chicken stir fry, the pork tenderloin and the chicken schnitzel. Unfortunately, the chicken schnitzel was completely burnt black on one side. I reported this to the counter service and asked them to complain about the schnitzel. She then took it off my plate and said that I could eat the rest (fries and broccoli with a dollop of hollandaise). If I had waited for the schnitzel, the fries and broccoli would have been even colder. I was then allowed to eat the schnitzel dry without any side dish. Unfortunately, since it was just pressed meat, it wasn't particularly tasty and was therefore not eaten. My sister had the pork fillet, which unfortunately was fried for too long and was therefore dry. Only my mom was happy with her chicken stir fry. Despite the complaint, unfortunately it wasn't really handled professionally. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend Café Central at all and we will soon try other locations in Coesfeld.

The Central has been with us since we were young and it is always beautiful there. Great regular staff that knows what you want to order and delicious food.

We were there for lunch yesterday, January 23rd, 2024, and ate the buffet! In advance we asked ourselves what kind of food there would be at the buffet for €9.90. And yes, the price says it all. Food cold, potatoes were watery and overcooked, the pasta was hard and dried, no signage at the buffet, you couldn't have a more careless buffet! Several visitors complained and we weren't even asked if it tasted good 😂😂😂😂 All I can say is: IT DIDN'T TAST AT ALL AND IT WAS ANYTHING BUT APPETIZING! There were guests there with dogs and the whole restaurant smelled like a wet animal. Disgusting 🤢 Furthermore, the cleanliness there left a lot to be desired. Never again 🤢🤮🤢 and absolutely not recommended

Waren zum Brunchen vor Ort - alles sehr lecker, viel Auswahl. Hervorzuheben ist der außergewöhnlich freundliche aufmerksame Service.

Mit Abstand das schlechteste Essen, das ich in einem Restaurant gegessen habe. Wir waren zu zweit und hatten den veganen Burger und das vegane Curry. Die Auswahl der Zutaten für die Gerichte ist qualitativ nicht gut und die Zubereitung der Speisen lieblos. Kein guter Geschmack, die Zutaten sind nicht aufeinander abgestimmt. Ich habe die Pommes gegessen, meine Begleitung den Rest. Er hatte das Curry bestellt, das war aber so wenig dass er meinen ganzen Burger noch aß. Der Hunger treibts rein. Beim Burger gab es keine richtige Burgersauce, zu viel Ketchup und eine Majo die viel zu sauer war. Dazu geschnippelter Salat direkt aus der Tüte, der schon länger lag und nicht mehr frisch war. Die vegane Bulette zu klein für das Brötchen. Einfach schlecht. Die Majo, die ich nicht bestellte, sollte ich extra bezahlen. Immerhin das musste ich nicht. Den vollen Preis für diese unsäglichen Gerichte durfte ich trotz zweimaligen Nachfragens dennoch löhnen. Kritik wird hier nicht angenommen und nicht ernst genommen.

Sehr freundlicher und aufmerksamer Service! Schön muckelig Draußen mit Heizstrahler gegessen. Die Bruschetta und Pizza waren sehr lecker. Preis / Leistung ist perfekt, darum komme ich gerne wieder!

Toller Tag mit einer Freundin verbracht , wir haben viel unterhalten , der Service war super nett und freundlich und essen war lecker war nichts besonderes. Sonst hat es alles gut gepasst und ich komme wieder ….

Schmackhaftes Essen. Guter Service. Bei schönem Wetter kann man abends schön draußen sitzen.

Sind regelmäßig zum Buffet essen da. Die Bedienungen immer on Point was die Getränke angeht. Freundlich, frech und witzig sind hier nur einige Eigenschaften die es zu benennen gilt. Besonders hervorzuheben ist Yeliz, die Bedienung die man unter anderem daran erkennt, dass Arme und Beine während der inner lokalischen Ausbringtouren eine routierende Scheibe bilden (vgl. so mancher Asterix und Obelix Film, siehe Asterix). Sind immer gerne hier und können diese kulinarische Erlebnistouren nur jedem ans Herz legen.

Great people and always smiles from the friendly staff, so remember to tip them well and smile back. Must see the amazing variety of art and artists who frequent the cafe. From musicians to painters, sculptors and poets, also alot of table games to play, kids run free and it is dog friendly. Gotta go next door to get a Guinness but there are IPAs and more at Cafe central for people who enjoy some of the finer tastes life has to offer. The Sunday buffet has been improved!

Sehr schönes Lokal und preislich gut

Leckeres Mittagsbuffet, freundliche und flotte Bedienung. 12.10.2023: Buffet gut, alkoholfreies Pils ( Krombacher) erstaunlicherweise lecker, Nachtisch nicht nach unserem Geschmack, da viiiel zu süß.

Frühstück am Sonntag! Das Angebot war sehr ansprechend angerichtet. Ein Stern Abzug nur, da es doch sehr laut war und die Tische recht eng standen. Ein kleines veganes Angebot wäre super gewesen.

Wir waren dort zum Essen. Flammkuchen klassik hat mir geschmeckt. Sehr positiv war einfach die Bedienung. Freundlich und Aufmerksam so mag ich das. Ich komm nochmal her.

Service war schnell. Soweit zum Positiven. Enttäuschend, dass im gesamten Außenbereich geraucht wird und kein Nichtraucherbereich vorhanden ist. Ist nicht mehr zeitgemäß. Daher auch keine Empfehlung.

Hier findet man eine gute Preis-Leistung und ein ausgeklügeltes Gastrokonzept vor! Die Mitarbeiter sind sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich. Anfragen wurden vor ab per E-Mail zeitgleich beantwortet.

Cafe Central hat 2 ebenerdige Eingänge, ist also auch für Menschen die im Rollstuhl sitzen gut zugänglich. Der. Service ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Essen ist auch sehr gut. Zu den Toiletten geht eine Wendeltreppe nach unten. Das Ambiente ist meiner Meinung nach sehr gut.

Wir waren sehr spontan mit einer 16-köpfigen Gesellschaft zum Frühstück hier (leider hatte uns ein anderes Bistro versetzt). Wir waren rundum begeistert - sowohl vom umfangreichen Angebot der Speisen als auch vom Service und Ambiente. Das Essen war sehr lecker, es war für jeden etwas dabei: Schwarzbrot, Vollkornbrötchen, Käsebrötchen, (Schoko)Croissants oder ein ganz normales Brötchen - Antipasti (z.b. eingelegte Paprika, Tomaten mit Mozzarella, getrocknete Tomaten mit Schafskäse, Pilze, überbackene Tomaten mit Käse), Eier in verschiedensten Formen, Pankcakes, Wiener Schmarrn, Würstchen, unterschiedlichste Nachspeisen. Wer hier nicht satt wird, ist selber schuld ;-) Vielen Dank dem aufmerksamen Team zur spontanen Rettung unserer Geburtstagsfeier.

Leider gab keinen Spargel mehr am Abend. Dafür war die Pizza aber sehr lecker. Die Tortellini meines Mannes waren ebenfalls sehr lecker und eine riesige Portion dazu. Der Service war sehr freundlich und schnell. Preis/ Leistung passt. Wenn wir hier sind immer wieder gerne.

5* + Was für ein super Frühstücksbuffet. Wir waren heute (Sonntag) mit 15 Personen dort und alle waren begeistert. So viel Auswahl an klassischen Frühstücksspeisen inkl. Lachs, Rührei, etc… Darüber hinaus noch Antipasti, Pancakes, Kaiserschmarrn & viele weitere Köstlichkeiten! Und immer die volle Auswahl in der Zeit von 9 Uhr bis 13 Uhr! Preis inkl. Kaffee, Tee, Kakao und O-Saft - ein faires All-Inclusive-Buffet! 5* auch fürs Personal: überaus freundlich & engagiert!

An meinem Samstag Abend habe ich mit einer Gruppe von 15 Personen das Restaurant besucht. Die Bedienungen waren super freundlich und aufmerksam. Leider kam das Essen sehr versetzt, sodass das gemeinsame Erlebnis sehr getrübt war. So hatte ich meine Calzone aufgegessen bevor die letzte Person am Tisch sein Essen hatte. Also kam das Essen über einen Zeitraum von ca. 20 Minuten, was ich nach wie vor als sehr enttäuschend finde.

Einfach 5 Sterne,hier fühlt man sich wohl,es schmeckt und man wird freundlich bedient! Tolle Auswahl an Speisen ! Sehr zu empfehlen !!!
