Very friendly service with excellent food.

This place has the very best spare ribs and burgers for miles around Bad Wildbad. Cool atmosphere, cool music, friendly owner! Everything was perfect for my husband, son, and me and couldn't have been better. 👌🏻 That's why we immediately reserved a table for the following day. 😇 We didn't regret it and would definitely do it again. My advice: Don't miss it and definitely go there if you're in the area! The ribs and burgers are absolutely amazing!!!

People go there! The service was friendly and courteous, the atmosphere is relaxed and we immediately felt at home. You could immediately tell that the owner really stands behind his dishes and I think he can be really proud of them! I have never had such good spare ribs and would have loved to try them up and down the entire menu. It's really bad luck that I was only in Bad Wildbad for a weekend, otherwise I would be a permanent guest here!

A super relaxed host, in a small former “cafe” right next to the Palais Thermal. Super tasty American food, great fries and a small but nice menu. We are thrilled, there is a lot of passion and super-friendly service here. Pearls like these simply need to be supported, give great food a chance! We've been there twice and, apart from the scambis, we've eaten everything so far and found it to be really tasty.

Reviews seemed good. The hours posted are not followed and even though people were in the cafe we were told they weren’t opened until much later. They were supposed to be open. Reply received 3 years later and we’ve been. Back multiple times to similar outcomes. The people had their bare feet on tables out front and I’m not sure I would’ve eaten there even if they allowed us in during their open hours. Feet on tables doesn’t seem sanitary.

The food, from the burger to the fries to the salad, everything was simply delicious! You can taste the freshness and quality, for which you are happy to pay a few euros more and anyone who likes burgers but hasn't eaten one there yet should definitely get it very soon, as long as they are still around!!!! It's definitely worth it because it's simply a pure taste experience!!!!! The atmosphere is small but FINE! The service is very charming! Have fun trying it and enjoy your meal

Super tasty and fresh food. You may have to wait a bit if it's busy, but the food tastes really good. You can tell the boss wants to serve good spare ribs and burgers and he really succeeds!!

Don't expect too much for the price. Other restaurants there can do that better, we were told afterwards. Won't be coming back, we didn't like it there and the service isn't good. Well now we know. Too bad about the money.

Can only agree with everyone else. Wonderful atmosphere with cats and dogs, very friendly service and extremely good food, the ribs practically fell off when you just looked at them. All in all, I felt extremely comfortable every time I was here!

The food was really delicious and the staff was very friendly. Particularly charming: The restaurant also has a cat and a dog, which creates a cozy atmosphere. Our children were immediately treated to a portion of fries and were able to pass the waiting time with board games and a game of chess - all in all a lovely visit!

Very dignified restaurant, you are always welcome there and the quality of the food is a 12/10. Friendly service with very good advice on his dishes. The menu is clearly laid out and all the dishes put on the table are better than promised. Extra requests such as: Mayonaise or fries are free. Further recommendation is worth it!

We were here on a Monday evening and were personally welcomed by the innkeeper. The menu was explained to us in detail. The choice fell on the mess and the spare ribs. Super delicious!!!!! Ingenious marinade, buttery tender and a generous portion. Recommended!

Mega nice chef and cook! We were a large group with many children who reserved a table here. They have set up a table with games especially for our children. And we had already prepared warm fries for our gang of robbers. The chef showed us the meat and went over the small but perfect menu with us. A perfect service and very tasty food. Reservation is recommended! You can leave the strollers at the door. (For wheelchair users: toilet is not barrier-free and it is a bit narrow)

Soooo super delicious. You can tell that the host/chef prepares his food with love and passion. He "explained" all the dishes on the menu to us, i.e. how he prepares them, where the meat comes from, how long he cooks it for, we were even allowed to see the meat from which he freshly prepares the paddy for the cheeseburger or where he got it from Salad and vegetables are sourced... Except for the burger rolls, he makes everything himself, even the ketchup and mayo, everything is incredibly tasty and fresh. My pulled pork burger was truly the best I've ever eaten. The menu is small, but we'll definitely come back often until we've tried everything. And the prices are really unbeatable. The rooms are not necessarily attractive, small and a bit old, but with the great food and the friendly host you can easily ignore that.

If you want to immerse yourself in a cool, relaxed atmosphere and simply forget about everyday life, this is the right place for you. Fabian with his cool, relaxed manner and his wonderful cooking skills is simply great.

Different than expected. The best burger of your life might be lurking in this small, old-fashioned restaurant. The menu is quite small, but told with passion by the laid-back owner/innkeeper/chef/FunkyJazzMusicLover. Almost everything is homemade and homemade. The bread is great. You have to take a bit of time and maybe not look and evaluate things too closely here and there. In any case, we had a good time there and ate sensationally well. Repeat guarantee.

Great 🍔. The best I've eaten in Germany so far and there were a few. As an American, I love burgers and this one was really good. The quality of the meat was really great and so was the topping. Fries were homemade and the smoked mayonnaise 🤤🤤🤤. The location is absolutely chill 😉. The menu is small but nice, I'll be in town for another 3 weeks and will try at least 2 more dishes. Ps: I would try the Gin Basil Smash if I were you 🤘🏽

Had a wonderful experience here in the restaurant this evening. The food was very high quality and a taste explosion. They were the best burgers and spare ribs we have ever eaten. The ingredients compliment each other perfectly. The homemade fries are what you expect from fries, it tastes like fried potatoes. The boss and owner of the restaurant was very polite and nice. He responded to each guest personally. The card was also presented personally by him beforehand. The whole ambience in the restaurant is what you expect when you go out to eat somewhere. For us an experience that we will never forget. Thank you for that!

This little restaurant is an insider tip. We went there by chance because the mother-in-law was in rehab. Great owner. The food is mega. Spareribs, burgers, pulled pork and the shrimp are simply great. Plus the homemade bread and the great fries with the homemade mayo. Since it's a bit away from home, we combine going out to eat with a visit to the thermal baths in Bad Wildbad.

Beautiful bar in the center of Bad Wildbad, it's run by a young guy who's very kind and nice to customers, he knows what he's doing. For dinner I highly recommend the hamburger, they make it starting from the raw cut of meat (which they obviously show you first). Also serves local beer. Highly recommended!

Our first impression was a rather boring atmosphere and high prices. Don't let that put you off. But we tried it anyway and it was totally worth it. Not fast food, this is art! The owner explained and even showed us the high quality ingredients!! The two dishes were both outstanding! Absolute recommendation. Gluten intolerance has been taken into account 👍

I was here at the Sommer-Heinrich Clinic 2 years ago as a patient and a fellow patient recommended it to us and every time we are here for a weekend (this is now the 3rd weekend we are here), it is a must to go by there twice. So if you like super delicious home-made food, you're in good hands here. The spare ribs are easy to put in. Delicious. 😋😋😋

Above all, everything is fresh and homemade - I mean even the fries are homemade and not frozen goods. Where else can you get this? Always friendly service and a small, idyllic shop. The food here is incredibly good, no matter what dish you try on the menu! It's worth coming here from the Ruhr area!! It's not a run-of-the-mill restaurant. It's like being invited to your friend's house, so the place has a special atmosphere. There's always great music playing and lots of great conversations. Whether inside or outside, the visit is worth it! I always enjoy being here and give 10 stars clear recommendation! 💙

Small menu, but exceptionally good food! I usually leave restaurants disappointed. It was perfect here! Everything is fresh and homemade (except for the salad 😉) and you can taste it in every bite! We were both older and went to the Cafe am Bad on the recommendation of a friend. When you enter, you are surprised by the homely atmosphere of the restaurant, the books on the layout of the room and the welcome from the owner, cook and waitress all in one person. After a short apology (only part of the menu was available), the owner recommended a wine, presented the menu and presented the meat he wanted to use for our burger. We both had a cheeseburger that, in terms of taste, side dishes and fries, was really one of the best we've eaten so far. Next time we will try the spare ribs which are his specialty. Great evening, you just have to commit to it

The owner welcomed us very friendly right from the start: “What good can I do for you?” The recommendation of the other friendly guests about the spareribs was excellent. Even though the kitchen was actually closed, we were treated to the finest spare ribs, delicious French fries and glazed onions within 20 minutes. Marinade, onions, chips and mayonnaise were homemade and incredibly tasty. The wine recommendation rounded it all off. A very family evening with good food. A clear recommendation from me.

Gem of the Black Forest! Delightful in character, the outwardly unassuming "Café am Bad" is thoroughly unique! A warm welcome awaits and the exceedingly personable host takes great care in talking new arrivals through the menu. Not only is each dish prepared with sustainably sourced ingredients, it also has its own story. Suffused with influences of the Spanish cuisine, the food is simply supreme. And to round off their experience, guests can befriend the resident cat and dog, both of whom make for excellent company in this relaxed and joyous place.

The staff was really kind and attentive and the meal that we were served were enormous and absolutely delicious. The nice atmosphere, the music and lightning, added to the charm of the place. A beautiful and delicious place to stay at to have a nice drink and a meal!

Meiner Meinung nach der bisher mit Abstand beste Burger den ich je essen durfte! Der Pulled Pork Burger ist ein wahrer Traum ❤️ Auch die Sauerei ist zum hineinlegen. Pommes werden selber gemacht, keine TK-Ware.. Fabian, der nette, junge Betreiber und Koch ist mit Herzblut dabei und verwöhnt mit Freude die Gaumen seiner Gäste. Zufällig dort zum Essen gewesen und wurde positiv überrascht. Essen bekommt man auf höchstem Niveau, beim Burger wird eine sogar vorher das Fleisch gezeigt welches danach verarbeitet wird, spare ribs lassen sich einfach von Knochen lösen und zerflieseb fast schon. Alles selber gemacht mit viel Herz und das merkt man. Defintiv einen Besuch wert.

Kleines Bistro mit hervorragender Küche und sehr freundlichem Inhaber, der mit Herzblut dabei ist und die Speisekarte detailliert erklärt. Die Speisen sind wirklich von ausgesuchter Qualität und perfekt zubereitet.
