Small very cozy Portuguese. The boss is very friendly, we like to come there when we are in Leipzig

A little excursion from everyday life to Portugal :) The food was very tasty and we can only recommend the freshly tapped Superbock. The hosts are very friendly, all of our questions about the food that interested us were answered :)) Deceleration, relaxed atmosphere! Gladly again!

I like the store very much. The casual atmosphere always reminds me of vacation. The couple who run the restaurant obviously have their hearts in it. A piece of Portugal in Leipzig! I always enjoy coming back for dinner and a Vinho Verde!

Great restaurant with an authentic chef, great price/performance

I'm torn. It was difficult for me to give 2 stars, but more wouldn't be a fair rating. Positive: I like the ambience. You feel like you're with Grandpa. A little more rustic and rough, but very warm. There is nothing to complain about about the food. Cons: More than half of the food wasn't available, but that's not a bad thing. The lady of the house attracted attention with negative sayings like "Well, finally make up your mind", unfortunately not in a funny context. Orders were forgotten. No card payment. 40 minutes before closing time they said they were closing.

Very tasty, authentic food! According to the owner, if you want to eat, please register in advance so that you are prepared. But it also has its flair when something isn't there. Very tasty Vinho Verde and Sangria!

Authentic Portuguese. Very cozy. We were there for the European Championships and were greeted and served in an overwhelming and not so welcoming manner. It's a shame but we'll start a second attempt soon :)

Nice backyard but unfortunately as a guest you get the feeling of being a nuisance. At public viewing today there was something like a compulsion to consume: you weren't really allowed into the back yard without ordering something as soon as you came in [one person stood in the way and the other barked at you about what you were going to drink]. Extremely unpleasant - and that immediately created a bad/weird mood for everyone, which remained constant throughout the evening because you couldn't shake the feeling of being viewed as an enemy rather than a guest. It's a shame, because it's actually a nice place with a nice atmosphere that I would like to visit more often. But behavior doesn't work at all, so it's probably never again.

Tapas and football - like vacation!

Asked if it was already open and was told no. There were men sitting outside drinking beer, but I wasn't served because they were thirsty for beer. Me too, but I'll definitely never buy one with such unfriendly service.

We went to the Portugal - Czech Republic game on Tuesday evening. (: Outside the restaurant there was a tempting smell of freshly grilled fish, inside there was a great atmosphere, drinks were delicious and the courtyard was covered so that the storm didn't affect the game in any way (:

My group and I didn't feel welcome. Although the ambience was initially promising, the employees gave unfriendly answers and comments, which is why we were unable to stay there any longer. This café is not recommended for young people (around 20-30 years old).

I'm sad that there isn't the option to give no stars, so give it one. We are a relatively large group and thought we would take a look at the “biergarten”. We went in and were greeted with the sentence that there was nothing left to eat, which was fine with us since we actually just wanted something to drink. We sat outside and waited... but no one came to us anymore. We then decided to go somewhere else. My friend politely said we didn't find anything and thank you, to which we got the answer: "It's better that way, Macdonalds is somewhere else." It's 2024, why is discriminatory behavior still tolerated? Sad. Just be ashamed of yourself and you don't have to write me an answer that looks like the one on the other bad reviews. This is not an insinuation, not a lie and yes, we were really there and we are not making it up. You always see each other twice in your life, hopefully not at Macdonalds /:

A little oasis in Leipzig-West! In the middle of Lindenau you can reach A Petisqueira easily by getting to Lindenauer Markt. What you might not see right away is the patio and biergarden inside! There is food for fish-lovers, meat lovers and most of all great portuguese drinks and wine to share. The atmosphere is like being on holidays! ❤️💚. The owners are super nice and friendly. Very much recommended!

This evening wasn't our first time at A Petisqueira, but it was our first time for spit pork dinner. It was delicious and, as always, cozy. Elias and Silke are nice hosts and, as owners, do most of the work themselves. We are already looking forward to the European Football Championships; You can do wonderful things in the garden Watch football. And - the vino verde is super delicious.

Portuguese cuisine in Leipzig. The ambience is a little different, simple and yet cozy at the same time. There are tapas and dishes that I also know from Portugal. Recommended for a slightly different culinary experience. Please feel free to replace the baked rolls served with the meal with fresh white bread, that works better for my taste.

Super bad service never experienced anywhere!!! My husband was wearing a mask because of POLLEN ALLERGY and the boss said: If you are SICK, you have to stay OUTSIDE! So be careful: please go only HEALTHY!!

We had dinner here this evening and made a reservation for 6:30 p.m. The food was good. We had 2 tapas plates and other tapas. The problem was that there was no more bread or rolls that you usually eat with it. For me, that's not possible at all, especially since the evening had only just begun. It's like when I go to the Chinese restaurant and they say they've run out of rice. Nobody needs to come without words and with an apology, something like that doesn't work for me at all. If you want real Portuguese food, come to this restaurant. It was the best Portuguese restaurant I have ever eaten at, outside of Portugal. The products are fresh, the atmosphere is very pleasant and authentic and Mr. Elias and his family are extremely friendly and professional. I highly recommend it!

Dinner on the penultimate day of the year was a party! We discovered this little restaurant by chance - a piece of Portugal in Leipzig! Places like this always help me, as an exiled Alentejo, to satisfy my homesickness. Wonderful tapas, welcoming owners, a charming atmosphere... Simply perfect. We will be back! Sehr gemütliches Ambiente mit freundlichem Gastgeber, der sich viel Zeit für die Gäste nimmt und freundlich so wie kompetent berät, wenn man sich in der portugiesischen Küche noch nicht auskennt. Auch für mich als nicht Fisch Esser gibt es viele leckere Gerichte auf der Karte.

Rude, o atendimento foi hostil. Pediram-se 2 caldos verdes, sem chouriço, e vieram com. O caldo em si não sabia a nada. Tivemos cerca de meia hora, o sr veio nos fazer pressão constantemente (quase a mandar nos embora) a perguntar o que queriamos beber, mesmo já tendo pedido uma cerveja. 2 caldos verde 1 cerveja e 1 fatia de salame ficou a 16eur. Fomos embora desconfortáveis e insatisfeitos.

Ein ganz fantastisches, von außen eher unscheinbares Restaurant! Wir waren gestern das erste Mal da und sind ganz begeistert! Das Ambiente ist mit einem echten Kamin und entspannter Musik sehr authentisch. Auch das Essen ist nicht nur lecker sondern wirkt sehr authentisch - wie auch der Besitzer der einen gerne berät und total zuvorkommend ist. Gerne wieder!

Besondes die Garnelen und Sardellen waren Super. Dazu Sagres und leckerer Weisswein. Wie im Urlaub!

Vi tilbragte en skøn aften i restaurantens hyggelige have, hvor vi nød den venlige og gode betjening og den skønne mad.

Der Geheimtipp am Markt! Ziemlich authentisches portugiesisches Tapas-Bistro mit uriger Atmo und geführt von herzlichen Menschen. Die Karte ist abwechslungsreich und man kann sein Abendessen aus lauter leckerem Kleinkram nach Herzenslust zusammenstellen. Der Wein ist süffig und solide und der bepflanzte Freisitz im ruhigen Hinterhof verströmt Urlaubsatmosphäre. Meine besondere Empfehlung ist der leckere Toasta Mista, den man in dieser Form nirgendwo anders in Leipzig bekommt.

Ich komme wieder! So ein leckeres Essen. Da steckt liebe drin. Wer es rustikal Portugiesisch mag und auf einzigartig Essen steht, ist hier richtig.

Einmal auf der Terrasse im Hinterhof Platz genommen, ist der Trubel des Lindenauer Markts nicht mehr zu spüren und auch nicht mehr zu hören. Wir haben leckere Sandwiches gegessen. Es hat uns an den Lissabon-Urlaub erinnert, wo solche Sandwiches für den kleinen Hunger in jedem Bistro angeboten werden. Dazu gab es einen wirklich guten Sangria und zum Abschluss einen Portwein und eine Runde Tischkicker. Lasst euch von den Fassaden des Lindenauer Markts nicht abschrecken. Drinnen erwartet euch Portugal!

Leipzig hat am Lindenauer Markt ein Juwel. Silke und Elias zaubern portugiesische Essenskunst und man schmeckt sofort den Atlantik und taucht in die portugiesische Gastfreundschaft ein. Allein der Garten erinnert an eine portugiesisches Restaurant, das vornehmlich von Portugiesen besucht wird. Qualitativ sind Küche und Service ganz weit oben! Alte Logo 🥰

Essen und Ambiente kann ich leider nicht beurteilen - bin über das unfreundliche abwürgen am Telefon nicht hinaus gekommen. Freundlichkeit hat nichts mit der Handyverbindung zu tun. Sehr schade, hätte das Restaurant gerne ausprobiert. Und Einsicht gibt es offensichtlich auch nicht bei schlechten Bewertungen.
