Very good food. Short wait. Friendly service.

Beautiful and nicely decorated restaurant. The food was good and tasty. Unfortunately, it took quite a while, even though the restaurant wasn't full. Service is attentive, but some basics are lacking: - The appetizer is brought, but no cutlery. - The glass is empty, but no one comes to take another order for a long time. - No one asks if everything is okay with the food. - When clearing the table, something falls on the table as you leave; several servers walk past it, but no one picks it up. In summary, if you want to be a visually high-quality restaurant in this price range, even at a campsite, this isn't enough.

I ate here with my family. The price/quality ratio was right. The food was plentiful and incredibly delicious! Highly recommended! The service was very attentive, children are welcome, everything was perfect! The atmosphere was really nice! We'd happily go back anytime!

The ambiance is nice. Unfortunately, the service was very disappointing. We specifically asked if we could sit outside (in the evening). That wasn't a problem. Drinks arrived promptly. Unfortunately, no one else came outside for the next hour, even though there were only two tables occupied inside. So, we didn't get a second drink. The cocktail was okay, but it didn't have much in common with a pornstar martini. We stood at the front counter for ages to get paid. The service definitely needs to be improved.

The food and ambiance are very good. Unfortunately, the service only gets two stars. There are enough tables, but a wait time isn't guaranteed. That means you could wait up to three hours for your food. A real shame. We ordered apple spritzer without ice for our daughter (1.5). The glass wasn't even a quarter full, and we were charged €3.50!!

We were here for dinner. Both the food and service met our expectations. The ambiance with the terrace and lake view is unbeatable. Especially considering the fantastic weather on Wednesday. Many thanks to the team at the Cabana.

I've eaten there a few times and was always satisfied. Last week I had visitors and we had reserved a table three hours in advance just to be on the safe side. When we arrived we were told that today they only had tarte flambée and pizza and that they didn't have any staff. When I asked if they could have told us this when we made the reservation they just shrugged their shoulders and I don't want to say anything more.

We ate there after arriving at the campsite and everyone was impressed. The food is worth the slightly higher price.

A nice restaurant in itself, with delicious food (when you get something). Unfortunately, getting a table without a reservation in an empty restaurant was impossible. You have to wait an hour for a cocktail during happy hour when it's not busy. The staff is incompetent and very unfriendly.

We had sea bream which was actually delicious, but was served on fatty vegetables, which was anything but delicious. The staff weren't really in the mood to serve us that day, more interested in chatting. What bothered me most, however, were all the dogs in the restaurant. To begin with, there were only two, but by the end there were at least one or two dogs at every table. I couldn't enjoy the meal because I'm allergic to dogs. I still believe that dogs have no place in a restaurant, especially since they've been swimming in the lake before and then shake themselves. I found the menu a bit meager for an upscale restaurant. What a shame.

I ordered a pizza and had to wait a long time (it happens sometimes). When I got our food, the cheese was burnt and had absolutely no flavor! Definitely not recommended for the price.

Unfortunately not. We expected much more and were disappointed. The Portuguese food on offer was very meager. The sea bream was delicious but was unfortunately drowned in pesto and greasy vegetables. The worst part was that we were the only guests without dogs. The dogs around us outnumbered us. My husband is allergic to dogs and had to immediately take anti-allergy medication. Therefore, we'll never be back.

The food was excellent, especially the tapas platter. The service sometimes looked very sad and seemed very inept. And with the "super bell" from the kitchen, they should think about something. It was really annoying.

We liked the Cabana restaurant; the interior and presentation were very nice. The service was friendly and attentive. We had the tapas platter for two people, which was very tasty, but unfortunately a bit small for the price of €19.90 per person. We still recommend the restaurant!

Excellent food, fair prices and a very pleasant atmosphere!

An extraordinarily spiritual place! The service staff strives to fulfill all your wishes. They are friendly, helpful, and always there if you have any concerns. The portions are generous and exceptionally tasty. We can thoroughly recommend the meat dishes, burgers, and vegetarian options. If you're in the area and/or a guest at the campsite, you should definitely stop by! It's also a great place to eat with the kids or bring your dog. All guests (two-legged and four-legged) are lovingly cared for.

The appetizer, burger, chicken, and cocktails were all top-notch. Unfortunately, my daughter's schnitzel wasn't that great in terms of quality. Especially since the price doesn't justify the quality at all. Hence only 4 stars.

No, open today, but only eat to go. Sitting and drinking is not possible either. Kitchen is closed today but to go is possible??? Had to drive again because they didn't even have a handle on the opening times listed in Google

We had reserved a table and were escorted straight there. Very attentive and friendly service staff. Not cheap, but very generous portions. Nice ambience! In the afternoon there is cocktail happy hour from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. Self-service Days away pizza and co possible Everything worked out for us and it was good.

Wait 20 minutes until you are even asked what you want to drink. After 20 minutes we walked up to ask if we could order. Food wasn't bad but quite expensive for the quality you get.

When the weather is good, there is no service on the terrace

Were there by bike in the east, the restaurant is great, but there was no service outside (even though there was nothing going on), no ashtrays, not even when asked. Service is rather poor, the service gives the impression that you are being disturbed.... The nearest cocoa is at the kiosk two kilometers away...

We got a table at short notice even though the restaurant was fully booked. Very nice restaurant, top service, very friendly staff. The food was served quickly and it tasted great. Can only recommend it. 👍👍

We always enjoyed coming and the ambience is really nice, but unfortunately the menu has been slimmed down so much and all the dishes that we liked have been removed. We also think that it is no longer a tapas bar, as all the small tapas have been removed and you only get 2 tapas plates for 2 people. In a tapas bar it's nice to order lots of small, delicious mixed things that you can choose for yourself. Very unfortunate. In the future we will bring and cook our own food at the campsite.

A real oasis in Fehnland! Very nice location on the shore of a small lake. Complete relaxation for the whole family. The restaurant has a view of the lake and camping area and has a wonderful sun terrace

The first impression is that the waitress is nothing but work and that's how it is conveyed to you. The food didn't live up to what it promised on the menu and didn't justify the price. The fries were too salty, the meat was tough and, contrary to expectations, too bloody, and the burger was partially missing. And then for a price of €20-30 per dish? We won't make that mistake again. The seating is also full of stains and generally unsightly. Very disappointing, as you are more used to the nearby Christmas market and campsite

Very nice restaurant. Ambiance and decoration are great! Service was friendly and accommodating. Unfortunately the food left a lot to be desired. My husband's mushrooms were black and were given out that way by the kitchen. Meat way too dry! My son had a schnitzel that was very, very dry. Breading dry, meat no taste. According to my other son, salmon fillet was very tasty. I had the chicken with vegetables. Chicken is great, you should practice frying vegetables again. The red sauce was pureed tomatoes, nothing more. Too bad!!! Were already there in the fall and unfortunately the food has already gone down in the fall.

Nice place, but the food can be improved (too little meat and too much potatoes for the price, approx. 120g pork medallions for 300g potatoes), no sophistication and a lot of convenience food is used. But the atmosphere is very nice and the (probably) untrained staff are very nice and helpful.

We went to the cabana for the first time today and were unfortunately disappointed in the end. But first positive. Ambiance is very nice. We arrived at the campsite late and called at 9pm to see if we could still come. Yes, don't be a problem. But eating would mean a wait of 45 minutes. We were there at around 9:15 p.m. and had just been given the tickets for a minute when we were told we had to choose quickly because the kitchen closes at 10 p.m. and then it closes. Otherwise the service was nice. We got drinks quickly. Unfortunately there are no children's meals on the menu or the possibility of getting a children's portion of schnitzel and fries. We were offered chicken nuggets with fries. That was okay then. Our food came at 9:50 p.m. Chicken nuggets and fries were okay. Schnitzel was ok. Unfortunately the breading was very hard on the edge and very soft in the middle. Meat rather dry, but still edible. The chicken breast with vegetables and patatas was very bad. The vegetables were in the pan for too long, totally soft and no longer tasted fresh. Some of the patatas potatoes were still raw. The chicken was dry - it couldn't be eaten. After complaining about both pieces of chicken, a new piece was brought. Slightly better, but still not edible. When we brought this up again at the end, all we got was, “Sorry, we’ll pass this on to the kitchen.” We were offered a nightcap. Unfortunately, I can't say whether this was charged or was on the house because we forgot to ask for the receipt. When I wanted to compare it with the menu on the homepage, I noticed that there should have been a salad with both the chicken and the schnitzel. We didn't notice this at the time in the restaurant because the cards were collected straight away and we were a bit distracted with our daughter. In conclusion, this is very disappointing and the reason for only 2 stars for the food. It's a shame, we were very happy that the restaurant was finally open.

Great ambience with a lake view, nice staff, delicious food.

We went to the cabana for dinner. My husband had the fillet platter. He had ordered rosemary potatoes with it. He was given finely chopped Spanish potatoes. The mushrooms were very salty! The salad with yogurt sauce was warm and had probably been there for a while! I had salmon on tagliatelle with spinach. The salmon was still raw in the middle. After a complaint from the waiter, the salmon was cooked again. After the good reviews, we expected more! We didn't like it!!!

Wow, what can I say, absolute hammer. Pictures say it all. Service and food were very, very good. Everything was very clean, family friendly and pet friendly.

We were in the cabana in the evening, everything was delicious and the staff was very friendly. The portions of the tapas were sometimes too big for me personally. We would have liked smaller portions so we could choose several different tapas. Otherwise everything was great as always, keep it up, we'll be happy to come back.

Friday evening we ordered tarte flambée to take away and last night we had dinner in the restaurant with friends. The prices are not that cheap but they are justified. The food was consistently delicious and the portions were large. The service is great - super attentive, very nice and really tries to make you feel comfortable as a guest 👍🏼 All in all top

We went for dinner. (tapas) and for breakfast in the cabana. The food was good on both visits. At breakfast the scrambled eggs and bacon were unfortunately cold, but still tasty. Unfortunately, what really bothered me personally was that after staying in the restaurant, both at dinner and at breakfast, our clothes smelled so much of food/grease that we had to change afterwards. Unfortunately for me that doesn't match the price/performance ratio of the cabana.

Everything is right here. The ambience, the super friendly staff and the excellent food. We'll definitely be happy to come back!

Unbelievable 😋!!!! The breakfast buffet is huge! I have never seen a larger selection anywhere!!!! Absolute recommendation!!!!In general, you can feast here without end! Dogs are also allowed, the atmosphere is very cozy, and friendliness is also very important!

As guests of the Emsland Camp, we ate in the Cabana today and I have to say, it was GREAT. The friendly welcome and service from the service staff were great and then of course the food. 😋 We enjoyed it so much that we will enjoy it a second time during our short stay. Our two dogs were also warmly welcomed. A real recommendation.!!!

We were there for the breakfast buffet with a large number of people. We have never seen what was offered there before. Simply top! A huge selection and it was quickly refilled! And super delicious! Very chic atmosphere, friendly staff, everything was clean. The cabana is highly recommended!

The location by the lake, the outdoor terrace, the ambience inside the restaurant - everything is cozy, chic, modern and makes you feel good. We were super satisfied both in the afternoon on the terrace and in the evening in the restaurant. Very attentive and friendly staff, very dog ​​friendly. The individual ice cream sundaes were so delicious and we can absolutely recommend the tappas plate for two people. Thanks for the great time in the cabana - we'll be back.

Where do I start...the best thing is that you weren't disappointed with the Spanish cuisine here. Ambiance, places and hospitality are very important here. You can also really enjoy your vacation here on a quiet evening with a view of a small lake. The dishes, especially with fish, were a highlight for me personally. I would love to come by every year just because of the coziness and atmosphere.

The food is very tasty. (mixed tapas platter for two people. I've never had to pay extra for ketchup or mayo in a restaurant - unfortunately that's the case here - see the menu. -1L of carbonated water from a water maker for €7.50, which doesn't work at all (deduct one star) -There are a few types of beer on tap, but unfortunately if you order large you get them all in a “Krombacher glass”, which I personally don’t find that exciting.

Pizza Salami and Pizza Hawai are highly recommended. Ordered by cell phone and picked up after calling back. Great

I've been to the beautiful cabana several times now...an oasis in the middle of Emsland. Great! Very nice staff...always ready for a little snack.... The ambience speaks for itself and unfolds as soon as you enter the beautiful restaurant...just come here and get an impression for yourself! Highly Recommended !

Were here on July 9th. have dinner. Tapas platter for 2 and hake fillet. The food was quite tasty so far, but the tapas plate could have been more, especially considering the price of almost 40 euros. The Wild Berry Lilet cost 8.50 euros. We also found this quite expensive, as we previously knew it at a price of 6.50 euros. The many flies around the food were extremely annoying. The service was somehow totally off track. We actually wanted to eat liver with mashed potatoes here. This is on the menu online. When we asked the waitress about it, she wanted to inquire in the kitchen, but didn't come back. Only after we asked her colleague about it again did we get the answer that there was no longer any liver due to cuts to the menu. When we asked him whether there were a lot of bones in pollock, he didn't know what to do with the word bones and couldn't give us a plausible answer. Later, when we wanted to pay, the waitress wanted to come back, but didn't come again, so we had to ask another person again.

Food didn't convince us. We had the pasture beef burger with patatas and dip. It wasn't a taste explosion, but it was okay so far. The second dish was a grilled salmon fillet with garlic oil, grilled vegetables and patatas arrugadas (the boiled potatoes were out at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesdays after the rest day), and lukewarm patatas were served instead. The fillet was not grilled, just warmed, no trace of garlic oil, vegetables (unfortunately not fresh, was dry and only slightly warmed). For this high price (24.90) we expect much better and fresher quality. The service was good, as you would expect. After complaints, the salmon was briefly taken back and warmed up so that at least you could eat it. The ambience of the cabana is great.
