Gasthof Niehaus in Haren (Ems)

I would not recommend it to anyone. We were not told anything about 8 hours when we rented it. When we first decorated, we were told a maximum of 8 hours (the boss made fun of us because we spoke a different language, it was called a magic language), which is unbelievable. The waitress is nice but the boss is not.

Unsatisfied, not recommended. Unfriendly, they promised a lot but didn't keep their promises.

We rented a hall for about 20 people for our wedding. Initially, we were told we could celebrate as long as we wanted, but during the preparations the day before, they only said we could have 8 hours. Flat rates are understandable to me, but not when the times had already been agreed upon. Unfortunately, guests were surprised why it was over so soon. During the preparations, we also noticed that the boss himself was annoyedly telling another customer about our wedding. This made the atmosphere a bit tense, and we didn't really feel welcome. The ambiance and the food were good and as expected. The price and service were also reasonable.

Service was not good, dissatisfied, not nice and at 10:30 p.m. we were "sent out" even though it had been clarified that we could stay until 2-3.

Hall The ambiance is nice. The waiters were very friendly and hard-working. The food was okay. The host didn't adhere to previous agreements (number of people, length of the party, setting up tables). This made the atmosphere a bit tense. The host didn't greet us at the wedding. The flat rate was 8 hours, which I think is too short; an extension would have cost €500/€600? (Because of the cleaning lady). We didn't feel welcome. The food was served one after the other far too quickly. You should know...

I was at a Boßel party there. The price is good, the food was plentiful and hearty. The service was nice, took a bit of routine at the beginning, but went well in the end. The facility is functional. The hall is visually very successful and looks very new, as do the sanitary facilities. I will be happy to come back.

The Christmas buffet was unfortunately nothing special. - Tough roulades; cold chicken nuggets - Very unprofessional service (long waits for drinks and buffet; unfortunate payment process; far too few staff, etc.) - The "large dessert buffet" consisted of 3 puddings; 1 men's cream and a water ice The ambiance was fine, and the location is nice. The price was relatively reasonable. Unfortunately, the meal was actually charged €36.60 instead of €35.90. Drink prices were reasonable. Criticism of the buffet also came from other tables.

It is a good location for celebrating, a small hall and a large hall for celebrating. The landlord is very friendly. It's not modern but it's still clean. That's what matters to me. That's always important.

Very tasty asparagus, lots of choice of meat and vegetables, as well as asparagus, good combination as a menu 👍

Habe schon öfter hier gefeiert und war von der doch relativ "einfachen " Bedienung nicht so überzeugt. Es wurde nicht nach Getränkewünsche gefragt, man musste schon selber aktiv werden. Für ein Dorf reicht es wohl, für mehr leider nicht. Obwohl die Küche sehr gut ist.
