Beautiful restaurant with friendly staff. The food is delicious and there is plenty to choose from. We visited last year and it was top of our list for places to eat when we returned this year. Highly recommend!

Good Lebanese food, in a cold and impersonal environment. Very kind and attentive staff. Two discordant notes: the very high bill and the inelegant request to pay in cash.

A restaurant with flair. As soon as you get to the door you are greeted with a friendly and warm welcome and this continues throughout your visit. The food was fantastic, tasty and in good positions. The variety of spices rounds everything off. The service is very attentive and fulfills all wishes. There was live music on the piano. Parking spaces in front of the door.

A great find for our 2 day stay in Berlin. Stopped in for brunch on a Monday morning. Aside from our 6 person group there were another couple. Service was efficient and friendly. Food was terrific as we have middle eastern backgrounds and grew up on these foods.

We have never had such good Arabic food in our lives. The meat and sauces are seasoned and cooked/roasted/grilled to perfection. Every waiter goes out of his way to read your wishes. Absolute recommendation

A nice restaurant, but more appearance than reality. The starters were tasty, but the price was relatively high - but that's understandable in a restaurant. The main courses, especially the grill plates, were disappointing and, for us, more of a rip-off. If you are already asking €70.00 for a grill plate for several people, it should be filled accordingly. Instead, only three skewers and three dry chicken wings were served. There were also potatoes. I recommend rethinking portions and informing guests better about the dishes.

An absolute must for anyone who loves authentic Arabic cuisine! I can only warmly recommend this restaurant and look forward to my next visit. The service was equally remarkable - the staff were friendly, attentive and welcomed us with true Arabic hospitality. The atmosphere of the restaurant is cozy and inviting, so you immediately feel at home.

It's supposed to look like a fine and elegant restaurant but it's in fact quite trashy: the waiter brought us the plates complaining how heavy they were, there was musician playing Italian music at the piano, and when celebrating a birthday the lights changed colors in a pretty stupid way. As for the food, the mix appetizers were fantastic, but the main course I had (stuffed aubergines with tomato sauce) was mediocre. Also, a bit too expensive considering the mediocre level. I don't think I'd recommend it.

We visited for dinner and opted for the set menu, which included hot starters and a mixed grill of meat and fish. Every dish was well-prepared, with the standout being the mixed grilled skewers, which were juicy, well-marinated, and full of flavor. The red wine recommended by the staff was also a pleasant surprise, pairing nicely with the meal. One of the most interesting highlights was their homemade dessert with mozzarella cheese—a unique and refreshing take, offering a balanced sweetness without being overly rich. Overall, it was a great dining experience with quality food, good wine, and an intriguing twist on dessert. A solid choice for both business and casual dinners.

I have the impression that most commenters here have no experience with liban. have food. Every little shop in Berlin is better. Byblos serves bland, off-the-shelf food, but it's expensive. Unfortunately, customer requests are unwelcome

We are now regular customers at this great restaurant and I can say that the food tastes so delicious. It's always a pleasure to come here. The staff is very, very friendly and accommodating. I recommend this place to anyone who wants to try authentic Lebanese food and be served with great service.

Food was good, service quick. What made us sad was the way we were pushed to leave a review (I think we should decide it for ourselves and not being annoyingly asked about it multiple times while still having our tea and conversation). Then the whole experience with getting the bill and paying was a bit unpleasant. 1. They didn’t bring us the detailed bill in the beginning. So, we have to ask for it multiple times. 2. While we were waiting for the bill the waitress asked us to pay and she didn’t want to accept the amount without the proper (in her opinion) tip. 3. Once they brought us the bill it wasn’t complete so we had to ask for the rest again. 4. At the end when we noticed that we made a mistake about wine price and we admitted it to the stuff. One of the members looked me right in the eyes and said repeatedly and aggressively: “You misheard it! Yeah? You misheard it! Ok? You misheard it”. I thought it was unfriendly and unprofessional.

We were there on Thursday January 23rd and I ordered a table online at around 11:30 a.m. The first time in this grill restaurant! It didn't meet my expectations!!! The pictures and representation on the Internet/YouTube do not correspond to reality! The price-performance ratio does not meet the requirements and is overpriced. The advice or offers were not guest-oriented. Dishes were offered that were overpriced and not tasty. I'm honest and can't understand the euphoria of other guests! Maybe this is due to a lack of professional competence or being deceived by the appearance! To the facts in numbers and taste, A non-alcoholic cocktail 🍸 for almost 10 euros, a pomegranate juice for 9.90 euros, a coffee specialty that wasn't hot enough. A starter plate from the lunch menu approx. 13 euros on the main menu 27 euros. Grill plate for 2 people approx. 69 euros and a dessert without decoration carelessly prepared!!! The lamb chops the meat was not possible to remove from the bone without Arabic spices. I didn't get the promise of tender and tasty meat...Unfortunately...!!! The service staff had a lot to do on the phone and with decorating in the restaurant. Doesn't fit the upscale atmosphere..... which I really liked! Very good armchairs ! Unfortunately, we weren't really perceived as paying guests here. The candle was just decorative and the tablecloth wasn't clean! Sorry, I'm a trade-in and wanted to experience a culinary temptation with my partner!!! We won't be coming back again. In the end we have together Paid 115 euros, plus a tip of 10 percent... I am aware that many people cannot understand my rating or the staff who were present! Culinary cuisine, well-being and the guests should always be in the foreground!!!

I didn't expect it to be like El Reda with the prices. But a Kafa plate with rice for 25€ with just a minced meat skewer is already hefty. I wasn't even full yet. If I pay €35 with everything around it, then I would at least like to be full, but that's not the case. Go to El Reda again and save over half and get really full. Thanks

A big restaurant without a soul!! So many people crashing through tables and chairs early in the afternoon preparing for the coming evening, no consideration for current guests!! Condition after not receiving a large tip, she was suddenly very unfriendly, she didn't even say goodbye to us when we left!!

The restaurant seemed tidy and clean. The food was delivered quickly and tasted very good. The meat was fresh. The side dishes and the service were friendly but unfortunately there was a mix-up with our order. That's no reason to complain, because we got our real food for free. We'll be happy to come back, even if the price is quite expensive at almost €25-30 per main course.

The food was well presented and tasty overall - decent quality products. I enjoyed the food more than my partner who is from the same region as the cuisine. The service was overbearing and "used car salesman-y" to me. All the recommended items simply happen to be whatever the most expensive thing in that section is. Every time, without fail. It became a joke at the table. The one HUGE negative was finding the waiter in a moment of dishonesty when I inquired into which bottle of wine corresponded to the red wine I bought by the glass while waiting for the rest of my party to arrive. I wanted to buy a bottle of the same wine. The waiter changed his answer twice ... moving from most expensive bottle of red to second most then ultimately settled on the Ksara Reserve red wine (third most expensive bottle) after I asked him to bring the bottle to the table. It made the rest of the dinner awkward. The waiter also hovered a bit too much and they kept wanting to come clear things before we were done. The restaurant is large and was less than 15% full when we arrived. So, perhaps the staff was bored. Someone had a birthday at another table and they brought out a sparkler, blasted the music and sang... it was cute and seems to be thematic of the Lebanese restaurants we've been to. I had a nice time overall tho. And gained a story to tell that's priceless.

I drove from Dortmund to Berlin for a great weekend with my girls. We decided on this restaurant on the first evening. And I have to say WOW, the food, service and furnishings are TOP. Most importantly, they had a live pianist, which created a great atmosphere. And kudos to Hamsa who looked after us really well. Always happy.

Lebanese specialties in fine surroundings and with attentive service. We ate well and everything was accompanied acoustically by the piano playing in the background. Gladly again!

Normal Lebanese food (you can otherwise get it for around 30 euros) with 120.00 euros per person for a choice of starters and meat (1x minced meat, 1x poultry and 1x beef skewer for four people) or fish (3x fish fillet, 3 shrimp, 2x salmon and 2x Halibut?) as a main course and 2 finger-thick rolls with sweet cream as dessert are totally overpriced. Drinks (wine 65.00 euros a bottle) were also added. You can ignore the incredibly loud music, where no entertainment was possible, as there are probably cultural differences. The belly dancer and dancing guests made the whole thing more interesting. We certainly won't repeat.

We went yesterday on a Christmas evening to try it and it didn’t disappoint us at all. It was absolutely a great experience! Very chill & romantic atmosphere, clean restaurant, the food is also very delicious, chicken is so tender and it melts in your mouth. The staff was so friendly and polite, So over all i can recommend this restaurant!

Overrated. Fair prices for mediocre food. Portions have little meat. I got Lahem ras Asfour and the meat was scarce. In the end he asked us for +10% on the bill as (supposedly) the service is not included in the price. However, this does not seem to be the case according to their list, who writes: Alle preise in euro incl MwSt und Bedienung!

We were there for lunch. The atmosphere was very pleasant. We ordered mashawi mushakal and lamb chop. The portions were generous, but the lamb chops were a bit bland.

Just great. Waiters were always there and always offered help and also explained the food. We had a cold and warm starter platter which was completely sufficient. The dips/sauces were so delicious. I also had a mix grill plate and the minced lamb skewer was great. Very nicely seasoned and seared to perfection. That evening an engagement was celebrated by an Arab family, which was very nice to see. You have to eat and experience!!!

If we talk about Lebanese food in Berlin, we talk about Byblos. The food is truly spectacular, it has been years since I had an original Lebanese meal, especially the couscous with braised chicken, the moussaka. Everything super rich.

There were five of us and we had ordered plenty of starters and had pointed out several times when ordering that we wanted a break of at least 20 minutes between starter and dessert and you should ask when you can start with the main courses. However, that didn't help because the main courses were already brought to the table when we hadn't finished the starters. Apart from that, two dishes were cold, i.e. the plates were very cold and the meat and the accompaniments were lukewarm. This indicates that the plates have been ready in the kitchen for a while. So much for the unpleasant process and poor service. Apart from that, the taste of the food was pretty average. Most of the plates were returned half-filled. I'm willing to pay more for good food, but the dishes presented weren't worth the price.
