It's supposed to look like a fine and elegant restaurant but it's not: the waiter brought us the plates complaining how heavy they were, he was wearing plastic glovesa, and there was musician playing Italian music at the piano. As for the food, the mix appetizers were fantastic, but the main course I had (stuffed aubergines with tomato sauce) was mediocre. Also, a bit too expensive considering the mediocre level. I don't think I'd recommend it. I made a previous review that was cancelled as "diffamatory". That is why there are only positive reviewes here.

We felt comfortable as soon as we entered the restaurant. All the tables were beautifully and neatly set with glasses, cloth tablecloths, and napkins. The restaurant is bright and modern. The food was excellent. The service was good and very friendly. We felt completely at ease. We were here for the second time on January 6, 2026. Everything was perfect again.

We hadn't made a reservation and received a super friendly welcome. Great atmosphere, beautifully set tables, very pleasant lighting. I had a few questions about the dishes. Very good. Warm recommendations from family of four with two teenagers. Lovely grilled dishes and SMOOTH hummus. Welcomed nicely by pleasent staff. Had two share starters and one main course each. Was too much food, consider ordering less. But all was very nice. Drinks (Mojito) was good and lebanesh white wine a good experience.

The waiter Hamza speaks Russian. It's a very tasty restaurant. I recommend it to everyone.

What a delightful experience! Byblos delivers authentic Lebanese cuisine, with extremely flavorful, well-executed, and fresh dishes. Balanced mezzes, precise seasonings, and careful presentation. Attentive service and a welcoming atmosphere complete the experience. Yet another example of how Berlin is a cosmopolitan, charming city, incredibly well-served with good food. A must-visit for anyone who appreciates Middle Eastern cuisine.

Friendly staff. Good food in ample portions. The chairs were comfortable. The room was bright and welcoming, although I would have preferred it to be a little less open and more private. The open size of the dining area gave it a slightly canteen-like feel. Nevertheless, the food was excellent, and the long walk from my hotel to the restaurant was well worth it.

I was in town with colleagues from work. As usually, I ended up being the one finding restaurants and making reservations. I went with about 6 people and everyone thanked me for finding this place. The service was super nice, we didn’t need to wait long for food, and the price was very reasonable. The meal was fantastic, everyone really enjoyed what they ordered.

We were there as a family of five for a celebration. Everyone on the team was very kind, except for one middle-aged woman (maybe around 50) who took our order. She was very bossy, unfriendly, and honestly a bit intimidating. Her attitude was strange and low-tempered, and every time we tried to order, she made us feel as if we were bothering her or making her unhappy because we didn’t follow her recommendations or she was answering back in an aggressive way of we asked for an order. Throughout all three rounds of ordering, she seemed annoyed and in conflict with us the whole time and made all of us feeling uncomfortable and not feeling welcome. We’ve been to this restaurant before and always enjoyed the service and the humour of the staff, but this time it was honestly a nightmare. I hope the management will take this feedback into consideration.

A great place for a Saturday night with family or friends. The food was very tasty and of good quality.

We ate here with my company two weeks ago, and it was fantastic, really. But why only 4 out of 5 stars? Let me put it this way: anyone ordering a bottle of wine instead of a glass is being ripped off. Bottle €45, 0.75l/glass €10 (0.2l). You see the problem, right? We brought it up, and well, that's just how it is. Sorry, but with food this good, you shouldn't need to resort to such cheap tricks. The food was amazing. But dear owner, please change this.

Even the owner himself takes plenty of time for each of his guests. Pleasant, not-too-loud music plays in the background when the beautiful grand piano isn't being played. Everything is complemented by exceptional, traditional cuisine. Everything is always freshly prepared, and great emphasis is placed on cleanliness. The selection of dishes leaves nothing to be desired. I've already been there twice, with different companions, and we were all absolutely delighted. All in all, Byblos Restaurant is highly recommended for anyone who wants to enjoy good Arabic food in a beautiful setting.

I’ve visited Biblos Restaurant three times during the same work trip, and it has truly become one of my favorite Arabic-Lebanese places in Berlin. The food is incredibly fresh — especially the Kunafa and Halawa Jibin, which are exceptional every time. One moment really touched me: I once arrived completely soaked from the rain, with my umbrella dripping all over the floor. The owner immediately came, dried everything, and treated me with such warmth — not the slightest sign of annoyance. That is true Arabic hospitality. The atmosphere is wonderfully welcoming, the staff are genuinely kind, and each time I waited for my order, they offered me tea. The prices are mid–high range, but absolutely worth it for the quality, the taste, and the hospitality. Also the choice of nice arabic songs was always wonderful. I will definitely come back on my next visit. Thank you — please stay just the way you are.

Byblos Restaurant is one of the best Lebanese restaurants I've tried. The food is truly delicious and expertly prepared. We tried a variety of hot and cold appetizers, and they were all exceptional, especially the sambousa, stuffed grape leaves, tabbouleh, salad, and sausages. The grilled meats were incredibly flavorful and tender. We also ordered maqluba; their method is a little different, but it was good and delicious. The service is excellent and fast, and the staff is very friendly and clearly prioritizes customer comfort. The place is elegant and clean, and it's well worth a visit and a repeat. A truly special Lebanese experience that deserves a high rating. 👌

We've been wanting to visit this restaurant ever since it reopened. Today was our first visit, and we, as a family with a toddler, were thrilled! Such an elegant design and so much hospitality and care shown to us. The service from everyone, and especially from Armina, was outstanding and attentive. I can't understand the outstanding reviews. The service was completely unprofessional. It wasn't personal, warm, or attentive in any way. The main course was completely unseasoned, the fish was dry and overcooked, and the vegetables were limp. The ambiance was also unappealing. The only positive thing was the appetizer platter, which was really delicious—even though there was absolutely no explanation for anything. All the plates were simply placed randomly on the table, and no one knew what they were.

The starters were fresh and aromatic, and the main courses were carefully prepared and lovingly presented. We were particularly impressed by the authentic spices and the balance of flavors. The value for money is also good: Although it's in the upscale segment, the quality offered is completely convincing. We can wholeheartedly recommend Byblos—ideal for a special dinner or a cozy getaway with friends.

I have to be honest about this restaurant: it's very, very expensive, especially for strangers or foreign guests. We were coming to Berlin from outside of Germany, and the bill was over €350 for four people (starter + mixed grill platter with 6 skewers). At first, they forced us to pay only in cash and asked for a tip, as was mandatory, and refused to give us a bill. They should report this behavior to the public order office or tax office so it can be investigated. Thank you.
