I recently had the pleasure of dining at Gasthaus Butz, and I must say, it was an unforgettable experience. We went to Butz because of the good reviews and were not disappointed. 4 people without registration, on the first evening in the beer garden, on the second evening in the restaurant. Both nice places to linger, a quick and very friendly waiter, cool drinks and really tasty food. Whether salad, cream mushrooms, schnitzel or fillet - really large portions and cooked and served with love, we had absolutely nothing to complain about. We will definitely come back when we are in Munich again. We would like to have such a great economy locally.

We spontaneously went to this restaurant for dinner and were expecting a traditional Bavarian restaurant. We once had a schnitzel and a mixed grill plate. Schnitzel was even okay and actually tasted good. Unfortunately, the grill plate was neither Bavarian nor particularly tasty. It was more like a Croatian restaurant with lots of onions and ajvar. Aldi bratwurst and a mini chicken steak tasted good... The roast pork or the pork steaks, I have no idea what that was supposed to be, was like a thin rubber sole... so really inedible... unfortunately there were 2-3 of them on the grill plate. .. they probably had to go. We will not visit this restaurant again. There are few parking spaces behind the inn.

I just ordered something from Butz for the first time and I'm really positively surprised. The food was delivered in 30 minutes (on a Sunday) and as already mentioned, the food was on point. Will definitely order there more often and stop by. Mega

The food was great! Had a schnitzel, but I think it's a cheek to ask for 2 euros for "changing the order" from fries to spaetzle. Added to that are 3.50 for 3 “spoonfuls” of sauce! As I said, the food was really tasty; but the special payments are not correct. I would have "put up with" all of that, but the young gentleman from the service was absolutely unprofessional. I was there at 4 p.m., the inn was empty, the service employee was constantly busy with his smartphone, unfortunately I had to ask him to leave the dining room for the order, the menu and the bill. The beer was lukewarm because the cooling system wasn't fully functional. Since I am the owner of two companies myself, I ALWAYS train my employees to IMMEDIATELY offer the customer/guest a REPLACEMENT or something similar if something goes wrong, and not to "clear the field" with a shrug of the shoulders ". Conclusion service minus 5 stars but food top.p.s. I had to pull myself together so that it wasn't just 1 star...

We found this place by searching for somewhere local and traditional when we were staying at the Novotel Messe, and we came upon this absolute gem. Unfortunately no menu in English, but that’s okay, that’s why we have Google Translate on our phones. The food is outstandingly delicious, freshly made at this family restaurant, you could not fault it, and portions are incredibly generous. My wife and I went for different versions of regional favourite, Schnitzel, and we weren’t disappointed, flavoursome and not at all greasy. Our daughter went with the crispy chicken burger, and that too was freshly prepared and nicely presented. So generous were the portions that we elected to share 2 desserts between the three of us - a wise choice. Again, freshly made and, as fabulous as the molten chocolate cake was, the apple fritters were off the charts fantastic. Drinks were as you’d expect, with the local brew beer being especially welcome on a balmy summer evening on the terrace. It was wonderful to see the place busy with locals (and very well behaved dogs), enjoying great food and the social atmosphere. As the food is freshly prepared please be prepared to wait, it’s worth it, and relax with a nice drink.

Wonderful place with food authentic food. We had fish and the schnitzel. We even were short on cash and they accepted whatever we had. Would highly recommend this place.

This restaurant is very well located from the hotel where we stayed like 10 mins walking. Lovely outdoor area and lovely staff so friendly with a smile. The food was absolutely amazing, hot and with lovely flavours. We had the ‘traditional’ food from here and the lovely guy recommend a platter with everything which was enough for two people. Please bear in mind the restaurant doesn’t offer English menu but all the staff speak English. I definitely recommend this restaurant.

Beautiful Bavarian restaurant with a great garden, friendly staff and delicious food. The prices are high, but top quality and sufficient portions. Parking spaces are also available. Everything was perfect and we would love to come back :-)

Yesterday we spontaneously went to Butz with friends. Unfortunately, I personally didn't have a good experience, but more on that in a moment. There is a small beer garden at Butz that is actually very cozy. We got a place for the 5 of us even without a reservation. The menu offers a good variety and there is something for every taste. But now to the actual thing: we ordered a lot of things, from the cheese spaetzle to the cordon bleu to the turkey schnitzel. I myself ordered the pork fillet with the wild mushroom sauce and the potato rosti. By the way, I was really looking forward to it because I hadn't eaten potato rosti in a long time. Until then everything is fine. So then everyone got their food except me. After 10 minutes I asked the waitress where my food was because my friends had already eaten more than half and I didn't want to eat alone. Shortly afterwards it happened. To my disappointment, I was brought fried potatoes instead of the hash browns. Then the waitress had to come back. When I asked why I didn't get any hash browns, I just said, "Unfortunately, they ran out and that's why we brought you fried potatoes. If you don't want them, then you don't have to pay for them." WOW 🙄. Sorry, but then you approach the guest and say that in advance and don't just bring anything. At least that's what I understand by good service...but no. That wasn't the case here. I at least tried the fried potatoes, but they were completely saltless and bland. So I left it (I didn't want to anyway). My pork fillet was fried far too long and was therefore completely dark and tough. It was really difficult to cut and didn't taste good either. So the rest remained on the plate and I actually only ate some of the mushroom sauce. Of course I told the waitress about the meat, but there was no reaction. Since I was still hungry, I ordered the Kaiserschmarrn. This was absolutely fine, but here too, as a guest, I wasn't asked whether I wanted applesauce or plum roaster. Both are offered on the menu, but here too they simply delivered something. Due to the lack of Röstis, I “only” had to pay €14.90 instead of €19.90. In return for the fact that I actually let 80% of my food go back, I was given the fried potatoes that I didn't want anyway. WOW 🙄 Well, so much for my food. My friends were quite happy with their food (at least somewhat) except that the schnitzel and the cordon bleu were too pale. My girlfriend ordered the turkey schnitzel and wanted potato salad instead of the fried potatoes. By the way, the request was NOT taken into account, but the change request was charged an additional €2 (unfortunately we only saw it on the invoice at the end). All in all, I unfortunately have to say that the evening was a disappointment for me personally. I only gave it 3 stars because my friends were very happy. But I won't come here to eat again. Sorry 🤷‍♀️

Het eten en de bediening waren ronduit slecht. De pin deed het niet dus ik moest eerst ergens contant geld halen. Vol verwachting een kalfsschnitzel besteld want als men hier iets moet kunnen is het dát! Wat een teleurstelling een werkelijk één millimeter dun volkomen kapot geslagen in een klef omhulsel met smakeloze bratkartofeln. Het was zo vet dat ik er last van mijn maag van kreeg en ik ‘s nachts boven de WC heb gehangen. De bediening had meer aandacht voor de vrienden die binnen zaten dan hun gasten op het terras. Soms vraag ik me dan af waarom mensen de horeca in gaan als ze werkelijk geen enkele passie hebben voor het vak.

I have visited the Gasthof Butz several times and have been completely satisfied every time. Super fresh food, fast and friendly service and a nice atmosphere. Again and again!

While staying in Munich we were looking for a restaurant near our hotel. We found this one but were hesitant because even though they had a good rating, all the reviews were a year old. So here you go. It is still great! My husband and I had the Schnitzel to share because it was 2 huge pieces. It was delicious. The atmosphere is local and the waitstaff was friendly and attentive.

Cozy restaurant with a very nice patio to sit on. Nice staff and good food. Large portions so no one will leave here hungry. The whole family was very satisfied after the visit.

Ordered oven-fresh roast pork as stated on the menu. I got warmed up roast pork, totally dry and at most lukewarm with dumplings. Large portion is the only positive thing. Very disappointing

Nice beer garden and nice atmosphere, but the waiting time to be noticed and served by the waitress is abnormal. We wanted to treat ourselves to apple fritters after a short hike, but we had to wait over 40 minutes for this measly portion, priced at €8.90 and not really worth mentioning in terms of taste. The only thing that really convinced us was the homemade lemonade, even though my wild berry was way too sweet and I added water. So if you cared a little more about the guests who were there, the rating would have been much better.

Good food, but the prices are very high compared to the quality. Water 0.25 to 4.50 euros??? So 18 euros per liter 😀. In many restaurants you pay 7/8 euros for a 1 liter bottle of San Pellegrino, and we are talking about San Pellegrino.

This restaurant had been recommended to me for some time, and I must say that I was very surprised by the quality of the service but above all by the goodness of the food. One of the best Romanian restaurants I've ever eaten at... I highly recommend it for anyone who wants to try new ethical cuisines, excellent quality and price! And the atmosphere is really pleasant!

The roast was cooked pleasantly soft - you have to give it that - but it didn't taste like anything. No salt, no cumin, no pepper, no garlic. Nada. The bit of crust that lay on top of the meat was crispy - but fridge cold, slightly chewy and again not salted. The sauce for the frying looked dark, shiny and good at first glance - but it wasn't. The sauce was again completely tasteless and became solid and gel-like when it cooled. The potato dumpling was actually the highlight of the dish, but there was no salt here either. Last but not least, the coleslaw: It's usually swimming in a marinade of vinegar, sugar, broth, spices, and oil. The salad here was downright dry - not a milliliter of marinade was in the bottom of the bowl. There was a bit of oil and a touch of salt. Also unusual: not left out - i.e. raw - bacon... I don't know what went wrong. But I won't go here a second time.

A real Bavarian inn. We were in a hotel nearby. We asked where there was a restaurant nearby. We were recommended an Italian restaurant nearby that was closed from Good Friday to the Tuesday after Easter 😳. I then asked Google The Butz restaurant was shown to us. When we arrived we received a very friendly welcome and were immediately assigned a table. The food was so delicious we had the platter for 2 people with schnitzel, Nuremberg, coleslaw, roast pork, grilled pork neck steak, hash browns, etc. The price of €28.90 per person is absolutely justified. The staff was friendly and even joking.

Food and service simply great! Had the finest pepper steak. Price-performance is completely okay.
