Unfortunately, as a guest you no longer feel welcome and the service has unfortunately deteriorated. The food tastes good and the portions are medium sized and nicely served on the plate. Unfortunately I have to deduct 2 stars.

One of the best Persian restaurants in the area. If you want to try Iranian cuisine you won't be disappointed here. A bit on the pricier side but they don't skimp on quality. Would definitely recommend.

I absolutely loved this Iranian restaurant! The atmosphere is inviting, the service warm, and the food – simple, like one of the best restaurants in Iran. Every meal is authentic and full of flavor, be it the succulent kebab skewers, the aromatic saffron rice or the delicious starters like Mast-o-Khiar. If you want to experience the real Iranian flair, you should definitely stop by here!

The food at Bustan is really excellent in terms of taste, but the service leaves a lot to be desired. The service is unfriendly, bills are often incorrect, and children's portions are charged as adult portions. Particularly annoying: The ayran was spoiled today and, despite complaints, it was charged as normal. The service used to be much better, but today you no longer feel welcome as a guest. Persian cuisine is undoubtedly one of the finest and tastiest in the world. Particularly noteworthy is the Bustan restaurant, which impresses with its exceptional quality.

Wednesday evening in the run-up to Christmas: Full house, lots of group tables. The skewers are great, but above all the great grainy rice is preferable to any “Chinese”. Fast nice service. Furniture too simple and worn, should be replaced in spring. Otherwise recommended all around.

The food is excellent, especially the pomegranate sauce. The menu is clear and there is also a selection for vegetarians. The staff is friendly and attentive, we like to come back again and again.

Hmm, the kofta were lukewarm and obviously reheated. We didn't taste the Persian spices that were advertised. Overall it was a bit bland. There was room for improvement when eating.

We had a wonderful dinner at Bustan Restaurant in Mannheim! The lentil soup was perfect for the chilly evening, warming us up with its comforting flavors. For the main course, we enjoyed Zerishk Zafron rice with grilled Kubeidah and Sultani – absolutely delicious! The portion sizes were generous, so I ended up sharing my plate. Ayran was refreshing and complemented the meal perfectly. Service was excellent; the staff was attentive and made us feel very welcome. Highly recommend for anyone craving quality Persian cuisine in Mannheim!

Meat, rice and sauces were great. However, the vegetable side dish was quite bland.

Leckeres Essen, nette Bedienung. Es hat uns sehr gefallen. Allerdings würde ich für ein schönes Essen zu zweit nicht hingehen. Die Anordnung der Tische ist, dem aktuellen Trend wohl entsprechend, sehr auf einen schnellen Wechsel der Besucher ausgerichtet.

We were completely impressed by the Persian restaurant, Bustan! Despite the large number of guests, the staff was extremely friendly and constantly looked after us. We enjoyed Kashk e Bademjoon and Mirza Ghassemi as starters followed by Chelo Soltani as main course. The food came quickly, the portions were generous and the food was delicious. Particularly pleasant: As a starter there was lavash with fresh parsley, mint, cheese and onions. Absolutely recommended!

We loved the vibe from the moment we walked in! We were warmly greeted by the friendly staff, especially the two lovely women who took our orders. They went out of their way to help us choose what to eat and made sure everything was just right, including the side dishes. To top it off, they even gave us complimentary tea after our meal! The food quality was fantastic, the atmosphere was great, and the staff were always checking in to make sure we had everything we needed. They truly went above and beyond! Lovely recommend it if you are around or about 1 hour away to travel and try the delicious Persian food here.

Perfect food and very friendly staff

We came for dinner on a Sunday for our wedding anniversary. The service was very friendly and quick, but there wasn't much going on in the afternoon. When I ordered, I was accidentally given the wrong dish (No. 58 instead of 38), but I didn't complain about that because the plate looked very tasty and it didn't really bother me. The dish was a delicious skewer of beef and chicken, which was perfectly fried and buttery tender. Really great food for a reasonable price. We will definitely come back and recommend it.

Very tasty! Iranian friends said that the Persian chicken drumstick is the most delicious dish in Germany. It only costs 19 euros and the portion is huge. The mutton and chicken skewers are of good meat quality and not fishy.

First time I have eaten Persian food and it amazed me. From outside appearances it does not look too appealing, but as soon as you walk in, you are greeted with a huge smile and personal attention. Was informed of what as on Offer and what flavours to expect…

On Saturday lunchtime we happened to go to a Persian restaurant in Mannheim, which was pleasantly different from many others because it did not have an Arabic atmosphere, as is often the case in Germany. Despite the lack of a reservation, we quickly got a table. Unlike many other Persian restaurants in Germany, the menu offers some surprises. Particularly noteworthy are the skewers with Sharghi, Shomali and Dshonubi sauces. We ordered the Fesenjan stew and the Jujeh Shomali and Kashke Bademjan. The Chujeh skewer was a bit salty while the Shomali sauce had a ginger flavor and was slightly spicy. The fesenjan stew was a little too sweet for our taste, although we liked that the walnuts were still noticeable and not completely ground. Kaschke-Bademdschan was okay, tasty and, thank God, tasted neither fresh from the can nor greasy. The restaurant is tastefully decorated inside and out, so there is hardly anything to complain about. Overall we would give the restaurant a rating of 4. If a Persian restaurant ever served real Persian rice, we could finally give it a 5.

I went to Bustan Restaurant yesterday with my wife and two friends and we all loved the food, service and atmosphere. The restaurant offers a diverse selection of Persian specialties, all freshly and deliciously prepared. The portions are generous and the prices are reasonable. The staff is very friendly, attentive and accommodating. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting. We felt very comfortable and would love to come back. I highly recommend Bustan Restaurant! N.B.: The fact that the owner remembered my name even though it was my first time in this restaurant is what I call SERVICE with a capital letter.

First of all: you have to like the location of the terrace, it is close to the street. However, I felt like I was leaving everything behind as I sat there. The food was sensational. The only drawback: the drinks were exorbitantly expensive. A boring cappuccino for almost 5 euros... That's too much. But the quality of the food outweighs it a hundred times, as does the friendly service. We'll be going back there very soon

Aus einer alten dt. Gaststätte, ein Ort voller Leben und persischer Charme geschafft. Ich war in den letzten Jahren bestimmt schon 6 Mal dort und wurde immer super freundlich empfangen. Das Essen ist großzügig portionniert und sehr schmackhaft. So ein Teller, für weniger als 20 Euro, mitten in Mannheim... das gibt es nicht mehr oft. Man wird hier auch nicht nach 2 Stunden gebeten, den Tisch frei zu machen, um mehr Umsatz zu sichern. Man darf verweilen und den Abend genießen... auch das wird immer seltener. Ohne Reservierung ist es recht schwierig... da gehört Glück dazu. Es ist nicht umsonst so beliebt da... Parken kann man praktischerweise im Parkhaus vorm Hauptbahnhof. Von da sind es nur ein paar Schritte. Klar werde ich wieder hingehen.

A restaurant that serves delicious food, especially rice with chicken. For those who want to eat in this restaurant during Ramadan nights, it is advisable to book in advance because there are often no vacant places.

Wir sind zu viert zum Abendessen dorthin gegangen und hatten die Bustan-Platte für 3-Personen bestellt. Allerdings war die Portion so gewaltig, dass wir letztlich ca. 20% übrigließen. Das Restaurant war am jenem Abend sehr gut besucht, so dass die Lautstärke innerhalb der Räumlichkeiten etwas gehoben war und die Servicekräfte mit Verzögerung auf etwaige Bestellungen nachkamen. Aber alles in allem eine angenehme Erfahrung.

Wir haben uns zwei Vorspeisen geteilt (Aubergine; Teigtaschen) und dann jeweils die Lammfiletstücke am Spieß gegessen. Zu trinken hatten wir das Granatapfelgetränk und Wasser. Das Essen war schmackhaft, die Hauptspeise reichlich, aber mit insgesamt 110 € für zwei Personen eher hochpreisig. Einen Punktabzug gebe ich, weil das Lammfleisch hätte zarter sein können. Gefallen hat uns die Stimmung - alle Mitarbeiter waren gut gelaunt und aufmerksam zu den Gästen.

Ich ass den gemischten Spiess mit Lamm und Hühnchen, dazu eine persische Sauce (Walnuss, Granatapfel, Pflaume), basmatireis und Salat. Alles wirklich wunderbar lecker (der Salat vielleicht etwas weniger), Hühnchen und Lamm von ausgesuchter saftig- und Zartheit. Leicht nach Zitrone oder Limetten schmeckend; ein Gedicht. Die Sauce fand ich aussergewöhnlich und hervorragend. Auf der süssen Seite, aber hervorragend. Der Reis fluffig und geschmackvoll. Unerwartetes Erlebnis in ungezwungener Atmosphäre.

Unfortunately, nothing special for me personally. I was hoping for more. The lamb, beef and chicken lacked pizzazz everywhere. Unfortunately, the sauces were also a bit disappointing.
