So, this establishment does not open until 4:30 PM, which can easily mislead customers into thinking it is open because the lights and doors are on and doors are open. Additionally, they do not accept card payments; however, the owner has provided an ATM on-site, which incurs a significant service fee. The owner and staff have also been noted for their rudeness.

The owner is an absolute no-go, something like this being unfriendly and rude to the customers... is not possible! I wasn't even allowed to pack my own food and was made to look stupid! Food was ok. But just because of the unfriendly and snotty staff, we'll never go there again!

My partner and I came here for an easy dinner and it was great! The wings are a fair price, we paid 20,50 for a dinner for two people and we couldn’t even finish it. The menu is not huge but what they make is all delicious! The coleslaw tasted just like from home. We ordered the southern buffalo and the honey BBQ. They were great, but the real star was the dipping sauce. It seemed like a ranch style dip with lots of dill and it was so delicious! In terms of atmosphere, it’s such a fun place - it reminded me of home! My partner is German so he had a ton of fun looking at all the American memorabilia. We will be back soon!

The owner has an attitude problem. There are bit alternatives within the area and people who speak to customers with respect.

tl;dr: This is a snack bar, not a posh restaurant and the behavior of the staff and the food are very good! The hygiene and the ambience are right. I can't understand all these negative reviews. This is a slightly larger snack bar and not a posh restaurant. In my personal opinion, I don't find the staff to be unfriendly, but rather feel very positive about being able to enjoy my meal in peace after ordering. Many of these bad reviews are simply far too exaggerated, which shows that some expectations were simply far too high. Then you're surprised that the staff reacts aggressively... : I wonder how you can claim that a finger-thick 200g meat flatbread should be a frozen patty, and besides, as a customer you want the restaurant to adhere to a certain hygiene standard, don't you? How else can meat last the longest if not frozen? As a customer, I NOT EVEN had any health problems after visiting the Roadhouse. After each time I was very satisfied with my meal, the price-performance ratio was right and the ambience was great. As an adult, I find ordering a children's menu to be borderline, if not questionable and somewhat ridiculous. Isn't it even possible to have your food packed to take away if you haven't finished it? If so, I don't know why menus have to be picked apart like that. Back to hygiene, none of the tables or chairs were dirty when I was in this restaurant and even sitting outside wasn't a problem in terms of hygiene. Conclusion: I always like to come back.

RUDE and NASTY! This restaurant is listed under blacklisted KMC businesses. I did not know that before going there. Absolutely the worst wings in Kaiserslautern and the worst service. Also extremely disrespectful to Americans. Look up this restaurant on the spouses page. You will see a ton on negative reviews and experiences from people in the group. Some include the owner being rude, the food not being good, kicking people out that have small children with them and serving expired disgusting food. This guy needs to be shut down.

This place is an amazing find near the base. The food is delicious and the owner is so pleasant and welcoming.

RUDE AS HELL. A friend and I were looking to get some fish and chips. We had been to two other restaurants that served fish, but they were all out, so we swung by here after seeing a sign that they serve fish. Stepping inside, we were ignored, so my friend said "excuse me, do you serve fish?" A simple question, which resulted in a tirade from the chef about how we could "hold our horses" and how "we will wait 45 minutes for a table in our country" and that he had a "heart condition" and we were making it worse. We decided to just go without the fish for the evening. There's a reason this guy serves food out of a shack- it's not a gimmick, he's a jerk and doesn't deserve to advance beyond that. So if you're in the mood to get in an a fight with a guy in a hut for asking a question and to wait forever this is your place. I'd advise you eat anywhere else

Me and my husband ended up coming here as a Plan B and was the best thing we could’ve done! Caught us off guard since they do cash only but they have a ATM right outside. Food was delicious and fresh! Especially the wings🤤 have that delicious smoky flavor plus the sauce of your choice. I’m not a fan of coleslaw but the one they make is just yummy. Fries are perfectly cooked and definitely try the sweet potato ones👌🏻 Loved the decoration. And I always enjoy the music they play every time we’re there. Prices are just right for the portions. Definitely recommended.

The reviews here really made me curious - so I wanted to gain some experience myself. Said and done. We (3 people) were warmly welcomed at the counter (self-service!) and as soon as we placed our orders we started talking to the boss. No trace of unfriendliness; He's just straightforward, which not everyone seems to be able to tolerate? Got a pager and waited outside until the orders were ready. You should plan on waiting a bit because the food is prepared fresh and “with love”. And many dishes are ordered for pickup, so it can take a while. The dishes were really top class. We were thrilled. And during the meal the boss came to us in the outdoor area and asked if everything was OK (plus some more small talk). We will definitely go there again (it's 50 km after all); then either Friday or Saturday to try a burger menu. I added the “Roadhouse Ktown Restaurant” to my favorites list 😊

We drove 2 1/2 hours to this place and it is the BEST!!! Hands down the most tasty food In we had so far in Germany. the chicken was smoked to perfection! Light crispy waffle! with Strawberry butter made by them and sweet syrup. The restaurant was clean I suggest dine in but also the best for a quick takeout! The service was amazing and we will be back!!!

DELICIOUS, TASTY AND SIMPLY VERY GOOD. The building may look a bit inconspicuous from the outside, but the American vibe from the inside is quite something. The service and especially the food is outstanding and the American burgers are clearly different from other burger shops. The price-performance ratio is above average. The Crispy Chicken Burger with Honey BBQ was by far the best burger I have eaten. God's blessings to the owners. PS: The brother of honor even gave us 1 free chicken wing each. Kiss goes out.

The owner is an amazing man… his hospitality is unbelievable ! The vibes are definitely there and it smells so good when you first walk in ! You have to try the smoked wings w/ the belgian waffle 10/10 ! I will definitely be back

A small, quaint little diner style resturant with all sorts of retro esthetic items decorating the interior. I got the boneless chicken wings and waffle with strawberry syrup and cinnamon sugar butter... I already love chicken and waffle and had some from plenty different places back in the states, but this chicken and waffle? My all time favorite. The breading and crispyness of the chicken with the sweet heat sauce and ranch that tops any house made ranch I've had. When I eventually leave germany and someone asks "What do you miss most about Germany?" I'll answer "The chicken and waffles from Roadhouse Ktown Resturant."

Natürlich sind Menschen die gerade heraus sind speziell, nicht jeder kann damit umgehen…… die es nicht können geht zum M oder B….. so habt ihr in diesem sehr gute schmeckenden Restaurant ohne Bedienung nichts zu suchen. I love the restaurant the guy that owns it is super nice and always makes me happy to come there ✨✨❤️❤️ and the belgian waffle bacon with cheese is TRESS BIENNN SO GOOD yall should really try it. Only thing is everytime we go they’re out of the vegan option and i would like it if my husband and i could eat there together

Ich war bisher 5x beim Roadhouse und wurde bisher nie enttäuscht. Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis top, leckere Wings, Burger und die Waffeln sind absolute Spitze! Bei der vorletzten Bestellung zum Abholen hatte ich eine Waffel bestellt und es wurde noch eine freundlicherweise mit eingepackt, die ich nicht bezahlen musste. Zu den negativen Bewertungen bzgl. des Besitzers kann ich nichts sagen, da ich immer freundlich bedient wurde. So wie es in den Wald hinein ruft, so schallt es raus! 😉 Gerne wieder! Meine Empfehlungen: - boneless wings mit Waffel und dip nach Wahl. Der absolute Kracher! - die Pommes. Knusprig! keine matschigen Dinger, wie man sie von anderen Läden kennt. - sämtliche Burger. Vorallem der Hot Nachoburger Hier wird auch jeder garantiert satt!

I had the pleasure of eating at in my opinion the best Chicken -Waffle resturant I ever ate at. If you are in the K-Town area and want something special with chicken this is the place to be. Nice prices, good food, and nice atmosphere here is TOPS!!!! A small cozy place with 5 eating.

Oh Mann, wo soll man anfangen. Das Essen ist wirklich lecker, aber der Chef leider an Unprofessionalität kaum zu überbieten. Ob man freundlich bedient oder mehr oder weniger ignoriert wird, ist immer abhängig von seiner tagesaktuellen Laune. Manchmal scherzt er mit einem und wirkt wie ein super lieber Typ und an anderen Tagen ist er extrem unhöflich. Ob man mit Karte bezahlen kann ist auch immer wieder aufs Neue ein Glücksspiel. Kritik verträgt der Mann absolut gar nicht, diese wird mit den immer gleichen Floskeln a la "Dann geht doch zu McDonald's" abgeblockt. Man merkt doch auch an den Bewertungen hier, dass da eindeutig ein Problem besteht und das nicht nur von einzelnen bemerkt wird. Auch werden in Antworten des Inhabers unter Bewertungen hier Kunden als "Deppen" u.ä. bezeichnet. Ein absolutes No-Go und weder menschlich noch aus geschäftlicher Sicht vertretbar. Ich finde es extrem schade, dass man sich hier als Inhaber viele Kunden vergrault, die eigentlich gerne kommen würden, aber sich dieses Service-Glücksspiel einfach nicht antun wollen. Auch die Facebook Seite, auf der immer wieder private Inhalte, teilweise auch politischer Natur, geteilt werden, ist einfach kein gutes Aushängeschild. Alles in allem extrem gutes Essen, das einem leider durch die willkürliche Behandlung des Chefs verdorben wird. Ich wünsche dem Herrn nur, dass er sich in Selbstreflexion und Kritikfähigkeit übt, das ist nicht nur fürs eigene Geschäft, sondern in allen Lebenslagen von Vorteil.

Ein echtes RoadHouse 🍗🧇🇺🇲🛻 Heute endlich mal ausprobiert und es hat sich absolut gelohnt. Wir waren beide sehr begeistert was uns da geboten wurde. Auf den Weg dahin, dachten wir erst wir hätten uns verlaufen. Liegt halt schon direkt in einem U.S Gewerbepark. Aber so kam auch schon etwas feeling und lust auf was herzhaft süßes 🍗🧇😋 War von der Kombi *Chicken-Waffle und Sirup* Überrascht wie gut es doch harmoniert und als highlight gab es noch Erdbeer-Butter. *delicous* Habe ehrlich gesagt noch nir so gute fluffy Waffles🧇 gehabt wie diese❣️ Der Mann hinter der Theke ist sehr Warmherzig und Lebensfroh, genau richtig für ein Roadhouse. War schon auf enlgish eingestellt und etwas buff als er deutsch sprach. 🤭 Wir werden sehr sicher wieder kommen und auch Freunde begeistern lassen. Amerinkascher🦅🇺🇸 geht's wohl Kaum!!!!

Diner mit nicht alltäglichem Konzept. Chicken and Waffle. Der Chickenburger war gut, wenn auch nicht außergewöhnlich. Außergewöhnlich sind die geräucherten Chickenwings auf Waffel. Klingt ungewohnt, ist aber eine tolle Kombination. Das nächste Mal gerne wieder Wings mit Waffel.

Chicken wings waren die besten die ich bisher hatte, ebenso wie der Chicken Burger. Besitzer war sehr freundlich :)

Es ist alles sauber, so wie es auch sein soll und muss. Das Essen ist total frisch zubereitet, also nichts aus Dosen, Tüten und Päckchen sondern eben frisch. Der Inhaber und sein Personal ist nett und man bekommt auf jede Frage auch eine ehrliche und nette Antwort. Einfach gesagt, da kommt man gerne wieder hin und sagt es auch seinen Freunden weiter.

Super leckere und qualitative Küche. Sehr nette Besitzer, hier fühle ich mich auch willkommen wenn ich mal alleine essen gehe was leider nicht überall die Regel ist. Mein absolutes Lieblingslokal in K-town.
